I had an excellent stay at Hyatt Place and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The hotel was exceptionally clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere that made it easy to rest. The complimentary breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and tasty options each morning. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants, shopping, and local attractions. Overall, Hyatt Place exceeded my expectations in every way. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable hotel experience.

The staff were very accommodating allowing early and late check in. Pool area was nice. Rooms were large with a separate sitting area. Restaurants and stores were within walking distance. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Location is great. You can walk to shops and restaurants. Try the Mediterranean restaurant. Staff was amazing. They were super helpful, caring, positive and respectful. Breakfast was ok. They should change the menu daily but it was same scrambled eggs and potato every day. Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. The room was out dated, carpet was disgusting and room was too small. A/C needs to be updated completely. They need to remove the carpets in the rooms. I was sneezing and coughing every day. Almost everyone in the hotel, even the housekeepers were sick. I ended up having asthma attacks. I won't choose a hotel with carpet in the room again. Also, something is wrong with the a/c's in the rooms. For 1 day, this hotel is ok. For 7 days stay, it was too much. I ended up being sick with soar throat. If you have budget, choose Hyatt House across the street. It looks much better.

Everything was great except the lobby was very hot while waiting on transfers to the airport and the cruise port. Upper floors seemed better than the lower floor. Stayed before and after our cruise. Staff was very helpful and nice

They need to put a sink in the kitchenette room. They need to put some plastic dishes. And they really need to do the outdoor pool. It’s outdated. It’s dirty. It also probably could use a hot tub. It just needs to be updated. Overall, it’s a very good place with a very good staff just some updating in some areas.

The first room they gave us was not even cleaned yet food on the couch bed destroyed used towels all over the floor

We were able to check in early both stays (before and after our cruise). It was nice to get off the ship, get to the hotel at 9:30 AM and check into a room.

Food was good plenty of it. Offered a shuttle and made sure we had everything we needed.

Stayed at this hotel prior to catching a Cruise out of Miami Port. We were picked up by the hotel shuttle at the FFL Airport. The hotel is located in a great area of Diana Beach close to airport. Our room was great, Love that you got Glassware and ceramic mugs for coffee maker. That shows this hotel has class. Nearby was Diana Point plaza full of restaurants and shopping. It was very clean and safe. Lots of Police and security. Restaurants were expensive, some lower priced were also available. Tried out or hotel outdoor pool and found it small. There were only 6 of us using it and found it crowded. Breakfast was free and had a good selection. Checkout was good. We got picked up by a private shuttle service. This hotel has a Airport shuttle and a Ft Lauderdale Port shuttle also. Nice stay Thanks.

The rooms were spacious and clean. And the hotel was well maintained.

The real MVP moment? They allowed me to check in early before my scheduled check-in time, and I was beyond grateful. After a long day of traveling, that simple gesture made all the difference. Thank you for the excellent hospitality. I truly appreciated it and would gladly stay here again!

First time staying at this property and it was very enjoyable. I know the staff were busy the weekend we stayed due to travelers and a conference, but they managed and were very helpful. Will be staying again at this property.

Staff are all so bad - not accommodating & not even helpful esp the Indonesian at the counter I will never ever return nor refer this hotel . Bed it seems that they didn’t change the beddings still with some dirt in the linen , over all not going to going back to this place . Nothing

The room was well-organized and cleaned. The staffs were nice, approachable and easily attends to your needs. The choices of breakfast was good.

Quiet and comfortable

Clean, updated, comfortable One staff member in particular was not friendly, he seemed bothered when asked by his supervisor to take my order at the food bar and barley engaged with me. Then when he delivered the food again there was no interaction . When I opened the box to check my order he said in a bothered voice, is everything ok. In actuality it was not, the half chicken breast and bacon on the sandwich were cold. Not like it had been sitting out and got cool, like it had come out of the refrigerator and they forgot to heat it up before putting it on the warm toast toasted bread. At that point, the manager apologized and offered to make me a new one, but I didn’t want wait another 15-20 minutes for a new sandwich so I just took it to my room and he heated it up in the microwave. Additionally, the french fries were undercooked. Later on, I could not get my remote to work. So I took it back downstairs and that same man who was bothered by me earlier, when I gave him the remote and said it didn’t work, didn’t say a word, instead he tried to use it on one of the TVs in the lobby and it worked. He just looked at me like I was an idiot. I said well I couldn’t get it to work in my room. I told him I would show him so he followed me up, again zero conversation or interaction. As soon as he opened my door before he was even over the threshold he starts pointing the remote at the TV. It did work and I tried to engage him and say I don’t know why I couldn’t get it to work before, and he just looked at me, turned around and walked away. The next morning I went for breakfast around 9 AM and all of the coffee was gone from both coffee stations and there was a line wrapped around the front desk to get to the food. The building, facilities and room were nice. The manager who checked me in, she was nice and accommodating. It seems as though that one male staff member is just rude and bothered by customers.

Rooms are good size, but bathroom needs some serious updating. Paint peeling in the tub to such an extent it was unbelievable.

At check in, the lady who helped us check in didn’t really provide much information about the hotel overall. All she did was ask for our credit card and ID, handed us the room key (without even telling us what room we were in or what floor). We figured it out on our own. Didn’t give us details on breakfast or shuttle services either. The room itself was great. Very spacious and loved the fact that the tv had the options to connect HDMI on the side for easier access. The breakfast was good, but very unorganized. We went down at about 9:20 am (breakfast was until 10 am - which we looked up online since we weren’t told during our check-in process), and we got most of the last couple servings of items and it didn’t seem to get replenished afterwards, so the ones that came down after us didn’t really have any options left. There were barely any available tables and the ones that were “free” had previous plates/trash on there. We were in a rush, so we just pushed that aside and sat to eat our breakfast. We didn’t use the outdoor pool, but seemed pretty spacious. Overall, the hotel itself is in a great location, only took us about 10 minutes to get to Fort Lauderdale airport, and there were lots of shopping/eating options easily at walking distance. However, the staff could use some work around friendliness/attentiveness towards guests. We were only there for one night post cruise stay, but we would come here again because of the location and the room layout itself was great!

Excellent staff. Our flight got delayed and we arrived very late, but the hotel shuttle driver picked us up happily and the staff got us checked in quickly with hospitality!

Property was very clean and maintained. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Hotel was renovated a few years ago, so everything is fairly up to date. Room was very clean and comfortable. Best bed I've had in a hotel in a while! A/C worked amazing which is great. Plenty of food options available, many within walking distance. I will definitely use this hotel again the future when I'm in the area for work.

The property looked well kept. the room was spacious with a king bed and a sofa bed. Had a little kitchette area. We only stayed on night here because it is about 20 min from the port where we were catching the ferry. Basic continental breakfast.

This hotel was very basic, but it met our needs for a single night prior to a cruise. The pull out bed worked great for us and the room was quite spacious! I would definitely stay here again.

I loved the location of the property. It was about 15 minutes away from the airport and the port. There are a bunch of stores, restaurants and a movie theater in walking distance. Breakfast was served in the morning, It was ok. Area was really small for the amount of guest though. The tub in our room needed glazing but the beds were very comfortable. The shuttle to the port was $16. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re cruising the next day.

They advertised the cruise port shuttle for a fee, but when I went to book it on the iPad in the lobby, as instructed, the option didn’t come up, and the person at the desk was clueless. So we just ordered an Uber! The airport shuttle, however, was a breeze. The breakfast was average. For close to 300 a night, I expected more breakfast options, and better service. Altogether, it’s a decent hotel close to the airport and the cruise port. This was my first time staying at a Hyatt, and I can say the Marriott got them beat by a long shot!

We were online over night for a quick stop before our cruise the next morning. I feel like I paid a lot of money for an average hotel room. As far as maintenance goes. The shower was a bit dingy. Room size was great, beds were comfortable and clean over the pillows. It was really just more of the state of the shower. Our soap /shampoo shelf was taped on the wall with masking tape.

As someone who travels often and works in hospitality, I understand maintenance issues happen, but this room was far below acceptable standards. I believe the air quality and possible mold issue should be investigated, and I would appreciate consideration for compensation or a refund due to the negative experience.

I like how close the restaurants and other things to do being so close to the hotel. The room was clean and they do provide breakfast but it needs improvement there should be more staff to clean behind children and people rushing in and out.

The breakfast was just ok. Pancakes hard, eggs dried, donuts holes were hard. the bath water in the room was yellow/green in color when tub was filled. Pool was nice. Room was clean and tidy. For the price I paid I’d probably would’ve gone with something else, but ok for a 1 night stay.

Not much of a restaurant. One person handling desk and bar. No one to cook a hamburger. Sent across parking lot to sister property. I chose this hotel because I thought it had a bar and restaurant. Didn't want to go out.

Large rooms with comfortable beds

Bed were too soft but an ok sleep. Got off the cruise ship at 8am and i was able to get early checkin at 9am wjich was amazing. Free shuttle to airport in the morning. I.would recommend this hotel, very short walking distance to a few restaurants and a movie theater is a bonus..

Also, had a beautiful view of the parking lot and some stores!! The room was about the size of a normal motel room. Actually, the bathroom (which was decent) was larger than the whole room!!! When I asked, I was told all hotel rooms are different sizes in different hotels. I quoted the size it was suppose to be and was told I could be moved but the rooms are all the same size there.

The hotel will meet your expectations. It’s a well maintained hotel and is located in the perfect location, Dania Pointe. I love the location. This is the perfect hotel to stay if you are going on a cruise from Fort Lauderdale. Try it . You will have no regrets. Shuttles service are available to and from the airport. As well as the cruise port. We love it.

Great location - walkable to a theater, shops and restaurants. The property is older but in good condition. The room had a bathtub rather than a walk-in shower, which I prefer. Comfy bed and pillows for a good night's sleep. Had to check out too early to try the breakfast that was available.

Great place for a one night stay. We stayed here the night before our cruise left. Its about 10 mins from the port. Breakfast was good as well. The only thing I didn't like was they charged us 15$ for parking at night. Other than that it was a good stay.

Time for a makeover at the Hyatt Place Dania Pointe. Rooms are ragged and worn. Breakfast is a joke. Shuttle service lacks punctuality. Just everything about this hotel says stay somewhere else!!!

Bathroom is cramped, the door opens inward toward the toilet and just barely clears the front of the bowl. Our AC was hard to control and our room was FREEZING. Comfy bed.

Comfortable, clean and quiet with a good coffee option! Shampoo and body wash were good quality. Excellent for cruise and airport stay. So nice to have a good bed and none of the scented carpet fresh or room sprays. Highly recommend. Didn’t use pool but looked nice. Breakfast was good for travelers.

The room was booked through hotels.com months in advance. Upon arrival another $100 charge was added on the already paid room. That was unexpected!

The room 222 was facing the street. A lot of traffic noise that was unexpected. Cannot find lotion in the room. The bath room is very small the fluorescent light has a different shine than the rest of the room.

We had an awesome overnight stay prior to our cruise! the breakfast was awesome prior to heading out and the front desk service was awesome!

Ideal location from airport and cruise terminal. I loved the shopping center in walking distance. I was able to get a few things I forgot to pack. The breakfast was mid to me. Staff was very nice and accommodating.. The shuttle service is a plus! Complimentary from airport.

We were disappointed in this year's stay at this hotel. The bathroom sink had a crack in it and the finish of the bathtub was worn off in several spots. The tub definitely needs to be reglazed & the sink should be replaced. The breakfast was ok, nothing to brag about. For what we paid for the room the fixtures should've been in better condition. We only stayed one night as we were leaving on a cruise the next day, but we'll stay at a different hotel next time.

We enjoyed the property - the pool was wonderful, the breakfast was delicious! I loved how close the hotel was to the airport and the cruise port. I also used the transfer shuttle to the cruise port which was easy and great!!

It is located in a busy area; therefore, traffic was very noisy. One of their elevators was not in service. On a positive note, there are many restaurants within walking distance. Convenient to airport, free shuttle to airport.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly. Great ammeneries. Having breakfast included was excellent and having the shuttle to the airport was great as well. Except the driver of the shuttle. He was NOT friendly and in fact was VERY rude to a person in our party. We arrived at the airport and he did not let us know what stop was ours. He could have spoken up and said whst airlines he was stopped at. Then when he unloaded our luggage at the airport he was giving very sly looks to this person in our party! I was appalled actually. We all tipped him a small amount but he was NOT deserving of it ( he would have gotten much larger tip for sure if he treated us better). Not a nice way to end our vacation. Very upset with what happened. We left today April 27th on the 8am shuttle if you need to know who drove us.

- No light over the shower in the bathroom. - Cleanliness of the hotel and/or rooms. I had several hairs in/on my bed when I pulled back the bedspread and sheets - various curly, straight, long and short hairs...DISGUSTING!! I requested to be moved to another room.

The stay was good. Breakfast was a little less than what expected but wasn't bad. They wanted you to make more of a breakfast burrito with the food they offered. They did have cereal, oatmeal, bagels, and bacon. The room was very roomy and clean. If you are wanting to stay there for the beach and don't get transportation then I advise you to stay closer instead if you have a longer stay. Uber back and forth was roughly 70 bucks round trip. The staff were excellent. I asked for a late check out and they let me with a few. Which is totally understandable. The airport shuttle was free which was a positive. Pool was nice and kids enjoyed it.

they charge you $100 deposit without saying a word about it, they simply ask for your debit card at checkin and if you ask them what for theyll say “its just to have it on file” next thing you know your down 100bucks

Room was clean upon arrival after our cruise and we received early access. Very close to Dania Pointe for shopping and restaurants. Bathrooms are very dated and need upgrading. Included breakfast area was very small and breakfast was very underwhelming (cold and people waiting for dishes to be replenished). We booked the included transfer to the airport as instructed on arrival and it was very late. Priority is given to flight crews and regular guests have to wait and given access only if there is no crew booked for that time. Guests have to wait. If you are on a tight timeline, leave lots of time or book an Uber! The pool was a nice to have to extend our vacation one more day.

Shuttle from airport and hotel were horrible. I called the hotel before arrival and they couldn’t provide basic information such as Ground level transportation between columns D-G. By the time they arrived, our van was full and others had been waiting 45 minutes. This hotel is pricey and I thought the service would be better. The shuttle to the port was also late and disorganized. On the bright side, the pick up from the port was great. Pete was a good driver and professional. Very surprising this hotel runs like this as a port hotel. Room was nice and breakfast ok.

Ground transport from the airport was full twice around. After 40 minutes people got tired of waiting and angrily got in taxis to the Hyatt. Staff were nice, breakfast was adequate but breakfast room is too small with not enough tables. Room was disappointing for the price of £180 per night. Rooms need renovating, bath was stained, mattress on both beds were terrible. Sink in the room instead of bathroom makes everyone wake up if you get up in the night, as you have to turn the light on. Would not stay here again.

Special shout-out to the Front Desk team, especially Desi and Donovan, for taking such great care of us during our stay. Their hospitality truly made a difference. We will definitely be staying here again!

Hotel has a great location in downtown Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, short walking distance to Publix, restaurants and more. Close uber ride to Hollywood Beach, and complimentary rides to & from the airport. 1/29 UPDATE: Like most hotels, The Harrison requires you put a credit card down for any incidentals and once you check out, you’ll be refunded the full amount. Fake news. We noticed the charge still showing on our statement and when we spoke with the hotel, we were told that we’ll only be refunded a partial amount of our $152 because the other part of it goes toward the complimentary breakfast, the pool, the complimentary shuttle and the gym. None of this was disclosed on their website or while we were checking in. This should be included in the booking fee, rather than the incidentals/damages. Because of this, I changed my review on Google and Hotels.com.

The room was great and spacious, our only concern was that the pullout couch bed was directly in the light from the bathroom and vanity area so our kids couldn’t immediately fall asleep. Other than that, everything was great! Our room was even ready early!

The room and surrounding areas were very clean, which makes a huge difference to me. I am a germ a phobia and could easily rest my head on the pillow without a concern. Front desk staff was wonderful. Loved the airport shuttle!

We were going on a Celebrity Cruise and just needed to stay two nights as we were travelling from overseas. This was our first time here at this Hyatt Place. The shuttle from the Ft Lauderdale Airport was perfect. In fact this Hyatt has a terminal in the lobby to book your transfer to and from Port Everglades with a outfit called Ways. The price was right for the two of us. The breakfast was decent for a quick sleep over. The bedding, pillows, towels etc were fresh and like new. if not new.The proximity to the plaza type shops and restaurants were just perfect for travellers like us. We would recommend for a quick meal the Firebirds Dania Beach across the road. It was the New Year season Dec 28, 2025 and we just love it when your choices just deliver beyond you expectation. I gave the rating five stars

One of the more disappointing aspects was the free breakfast. It was only available until 9:30 a.m., which felt especially inconvenient given that it was during the New Year’s holiday. An extended breakfast time would have been a reasonable and appreciated accommodation for guests. Overall, the experience did not meet the expectations I typically associate with the Hyatt brand.

The rooms are very clean, quiet and spacious. The free breakfast is enough to start your day but needs more selection, I enjoy their coffee though. The property is close to shopping area, panda restaurant, McDonald and others. Tri-rail is about 2 miles away so you need to take a Lyft. Free shuttle to airport is very convenient. The front desk people needs more enthusiasm and energy and finally I would like to give a special mention to Dorcelin, one of the housekeeper, she is very helpful and friendly. She say hi whenever she sees us and ask how’s our stay so far. Thank you Dorcelin, you are amazing😍

The room was fine. The male front desk clerk had an extremely bad attitude. We stayed 2 nights, checked in on a Friday morning(1030am), December 12, 2025. Our room was not ready as were extremely early. So, we ordered a Cappuccino from the on-site Starbucks Kiosk and the machine shorted out, so we figured it would be fixed at a later time. The next morning, I inquired if the Espresso machine was working and the clerk barked that it was broken. I replied that I understood it was broken but was it going to be fixed at some point? He snapped it will get fixed when it gets fixed. I then asked him if there a coffee shop near by and again he barked look for one on your phone.

The Hyatt Place gets a really good rating because of its location, which is close to the airport and nearby shopping and dining. The 2 queen room was clean, large and well laid out. The front desk was very accommodating with our luggage after a post cruise vacay. Breakfast was the norm and the shuttles to and from the airport are fast and efficient.

Room was great and spotless. I've never seen such miserable staff. Will not stay here again.

The entire area where Hyatt Place is located is beautiful. The staff are amazing, everyone smiles or greets you. They appear to always be ready to assist. After I checked in, I was asked whether I needed a shuttle to the airport/cruiseport. If I didn’t have a vehicle, I would have taken that. Very nice stay

Our room was clean and the team got us into a room early because our ship came in early.

The location was great you could walk to TJMaxx Hobby Lobby and other stores and restaurants were within walking distance. The hotel room was excellent and the buffet breakfast was excellent. I didn’t give it a five because our room was on the same side as the highway and you could hear the traffic all night. I would definitely stay again I would just ask to stay on the opposite side of the hotel.

We are on the 6th floor next to the freeway so we do hear a lot of road noise. There is a big outdoor shopping mall and Regal Cinema right next door. Lots of restaurants so there is plenty to do if you fly in a day early before a cruise. The free airport shuttle is a big plus. It is $15.99 per person to ride the shuttle to the cruise port. I think we'll be taking an Uber.

Room was great. Food from the bar was terrible. Ordered and paid $18 for a chicken bacon sandwich on sourdough. What I got was a sandwich with 5 tiny cubes of chicken, NO bacon, NO honey mustard sauce, NO sourdough. It was served on A hamburger bun that was burnt on both the top and bottom. It was terrible. Don’t advertise food service if you cannot provide. Will not stay there again.

Convenient airport shuttle and easy to book cruise port shuttle right at the hotel. The room and general hotel area was clean and welcoming. The bed was a little too firm for my liking and breakfast was super crowded with very limited seating. We had a late flight and only stayed overnight so we didn’t explore much. Overall, we had a really good experience and will consider staying here again.

I liked that the property was clean. The stsff were professional and helpful. I felt safe in the environment and even walking close distance to the the shopping area. The dining options were limited in the evening because the hotel did not have a chef at the time. However, the morning complimentry breakfast was excellent and there was a variety of food and beversges to coose feom.

It was disappointing to find out that the location did not have a restaurant as they advertised. The front desk lady informed us that it is basically frozen items that she throws in the fryer. They even have a poster in the elevators advertising said restaurant with a picture of a steak on it. Needless to say, we walked over to a local restaurant to have dinner. The room we had was for handicap accessible, which neither of us are, but there were stains on the couch and the refrigerator didn’t even work. Thank goodness we only stayed for one night.

We were traveling with four small children (ages 7 to 11 months)arriving quite late at night and received no update from the hotel or hotel.com. This was after it took 53 minutes for the this hotel shuttle to pick us up at the airport. Once at the hotel at about 1:00 am the staff was huddled in the corner and clearly did not want to help, other than to tell us hotels.com should have called us. After an hour of questioning them and asking for help, they drove us in a shuttle to a second Hyatt hotel. By this time it was 3 AM with four children under the age of seven. We had stay at this hotel several times in the past but never again. The attitude was terrible. I have uploaded a photo of an email received a day late from hotels.com as seen by the dates circled.

Beautiful hotel with an INCREDIBLE location. The hotel was right next to a beautiful outdoor shopping centre with lots of restaurants, shops, and entertainment a few feet away. The hotel was also a few minutes from the airport and had shuttle services from the hotel to and from the airport and cruise terminal. The staff was friendly, continental breakfast was delicious and room was spacious. I could not say one bad thing about this hotel, I will definitely be staying here again!
