    Liked that it was close to the pier Everglades port and had a shuttle from the hotel to the port! Not fond of the $20 per person charge When I originally booked this property breakfast was included as well as no cancellation fee and pay at the property! But when we checked in to ask when the continental breakfast starts they said they didn’t have it

    The room and property were nice. We didn’t like the fact that every time we left the room the garbage remained after we got serviced. The fire alarm kept going off when we bathed and one day we met our room door opened-didn’t even need the key.

    This is my experience in its entirety. The first woman I dealt with at check in was very helpful. Her system went down and she was still able to make sure I was checked in and taken care of. Now when I came back the staff was rude. My husband asked them for a crib as it was offered online. They first said they need to wait for someone to come back. We never got a call so he had to go back down after an hour for them to say the have pack and plays, not cribs. Which will probably be difficult to assemble. We said no so now we had to arrange a way for our infant and one year old to sleep comfortably and safely. Then as we are packing a roach crawls out of a couch that looked very old and had a huge stain on it. It ended up getting into my kids bag that I was packing with their formula! I was disgusted and annoyed because not only do I not have a crib, I am now paranoid that roaches may crawl in the bed with them on it. Me and my husband could not sleep because of this. Then as we checked out about 330AM. We were not even asked how our stay was or was everything ok. All she did was ask for my last name and room number and said I was checked out now. However, an older woman did have conversation with me about my children during the checkout. Every Marriott hotel I have been to (we usually only stay in Marriott’s) has asked if my stay was seamless or good in general. I will not be recommending or coming back to this location.

    Nothing I waited for 1 hour at the airport to the point of had to order an uber. The van finally came. I called all the contact phone numbers given at the reservation but no one answered. I’m the rooms are big but the AC is ancient at woke me up all night when it turned on and off. Terrible experience. I will never come back.

    We stayed one night only before our cruise… we stayed there the night Spirit Airlines collapsed right there in Dania Beach… room and property were fine, was disappointed that this courtyard inn did not include a complimentary breakfast. I usually stay at courtyard when traveling and never been to one where the breakfast was not included.

    The staff was great. The rooms were clean and very well maintained. The bed and pillows were comfy, however sofa bed wasen’t. It felt like you were sleeping on springs only. Parking lot was safe and secured. Couple things that I believe could be better would be the pricing for snacks and beverages (Very expensive for hotel guest). Another one will be, our bathroom tub drain was not working well so water wouldnt go down unless we held the drain up manually. I wish the rooms had extra sheets/blankets as most marriott locations bring with rooms. The toulet also took forever to refill with water before you could use it again. Other Than that, great stay.

I sat at the airport for over an hour and 45 minutes so the next morning instead of me waiting on the shuttle, I decided to take a Uber overall the hotel was amazing when it comes to the shuttle service. It was horrible.

    The outdoor area was set up nicely, though there was pretty limited chairs/chaise loungers around the pool area. The shuttle was nice, and very convenient to get around. I'd skip the cruise port shuttle and just get an Uber if there is more than 1 person heading out on a cruise. Our group of 4 saved over $50 (including the tip) doing that. Very nice hotel and would definitely stay again.

Even at check in i confirmed that breakfast was included on the rate i chose. It is sill on my card since 3/1/26! I called about 5 times when i got home from my cruise and it was very hard to get thru to the desk. When I did she couldn't help me and I left my name and number several times for a manager to call me back...that never happened. So, I am furious that I was overcharge $50 for my stay and did not get breakfast included. Customer service was terrible! I still want to be credited for that free breakfast!

    AFTER CRUISE OUR 3-15 FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED WE BOOKED DELTA FOR 3-17, PM. WE STAYED AT A POOR QUALITY HOTEL 3-15 AND 3-16 AFTER BEING UNABLE TO RENT A CAR OR FIND OTHER TRANSPORTATION. I FINALLY BOOKED SEA GLASS FOR NIGHT OF 3-17. MY WIFE HAD RUN OUT OF SOME OF HER MEDS. THE NIGHT OF THE 17TH I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO RENT A CAR FOR ONE WAY TO ATLANTA. I PICKED IT UP 3-18 AND WE GOT BACK HOME 3-19. DELTA REFUNDED OUR TICKETS. I HAD NO IDEA THAT FAIRFIELD HAD BOOKED US For a date I NEVER REQUESTED!! WHEN I EXPLAINED TO EXPEDIA THEY CONTACTED FAIRFIELD WHO REFUSED TO CREDIT TO US. WE ARE 79 AND 74 AND HAVE NEVER SEEN THE GREED WE SAW FROM HOTELS AND CAR RENTAL DURING THOSE FEW DAYS WHEN SO MANY WERE SO INCONVENIENCED BY TSA, WEATHER,ETC. YOU WOULD THINK FAIRFIELD MADE A FORTUNE FOR TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE MISFORTUNE OF TRAVELERS. I GUESS THEY DID NOT!!!!!! THEIR GREED EXTENDED TO A NON EXISTENT RESERVATION.     We arrived too early for check-in. However, the girl that was at the desk was phenomenal. She greeted us, explained that we were too early to check in as they were still checking people out. We explained that we were unable to go anywhere as we had so much luggage. She graciously allowed us to lock our luggage up and hang out at the pool until our room was ready. This was above and beyond what we expected, and we were very grateful for her service.

    Arielle was very nice. Gave me an umbrella and a late checkout. But the other older lady was AWFUL. She was so rude. She acted like she hated being there. The hotel was kinda dirty and the food was SO EXPENSIVE. It was not what I expected from a Courtyard Marriott.

    The front desk staff were kind and efficient. The room was clean but the bathroom was not cleaned properly and had hair all over. The bathroom water is yellow which I guess is currently a Fort Lauderdale issue. There is a quick efficient shuttle service to and from the airport and cruise port. The cruise shuttle is $20 per person. FLL airport is a nightmare but the shuttle driver will be in contact to do pick up.

    I booked a room with 2 queen beds and 1 double sofa bed. However the sofa bed was a single and did not meet our needs. We voiced our concerns at the front desk of the Hotel and Maureen and Zita were very accommodating and corrected our problem. All hotel staff were very kind and friendly.

    We stayed at this property for 1 night before a cruise, and other than the Bass Pro Shop and the Islamorada Fish Company restaurant, there was nothing to do within walking distance. The restaurant did have good food. The hotel common areas and room were dated and worn but clean. It is close to the cruiseport, so if you’re looking for just a place to rest your head for the night, this is fine. But it’s just ok otherwise.

    The airport shuttle process was an extreme let down. After waiting an hour, we paid for an uber. The room was run down and the pool looked un-swimmable. Not within walking distance to much. The best part was the little restaurant that served Starbucks in the morning. Just ok for a one night stay before a cruise.

    I made my reservation in September … paid $381. For one room, 1 night with plans to board a ship the following morning. I learned at 130 pm the afternoon I was to fly from Boston to Ft Lauderdale that my reservation was canceled by the Marriott Hotel. I was traveling with my 12 year old granddaughter and I was calling everywhere trying to get another room. Calling the Marriott got me no results, they wouldn’t even answer the phone at the hotel. The public should be warned that apparently it’s okay to just cancel a reservation at a whim ( especially if they can sell the same room at a much higher rate) if the reservation is made thru 3rd-parties.. such a Expedia… terrible, crooked business practice!

    It started with the staff, not being able to understand them because they were wearing face mask and I couldn’t hear even after repeatedly asking I still could not hear what they’re trying to say. The rooms are old outdated. The food that they serve is pretty terrible ice machine on the second floor, where our room was did not work. The shower is like something from the 60s. All I can say is I’m one and done.

    I arrived early to the hotel knowing that I would have to wait a bit for my room. 5 hours I waited. Their stated check in time is 3pm at the desk they stated 4pm. As more and more people arrived some got rooms and others had to wait. Finally I found a desk agent that gave me an open room but that was after 5 hrs of laying in the laobby and taking to 2 other desk agents. When I got to the room it smelled like piss but I was so tired after a long week

    Room was ok, somewhat outdated but clean. Many of the staff were nice. On check out, I could see the desk person was overwhelmed and a bit not friendly. I did report this to the hotel that we used the shuttle from the hotel to the cruise port offered by a company stationed in the lobby. They charge $20/person. Although the transportation was ok, my husband has a mobility issue and uses a walker. After loading, the booking person said we were going to have to pay an extra $10 because the walker would not fit in back and was taking up a passenger seat. I don't think this is legal. I asked for their business card and the driver ultimately did not charge it but was going to. This should have been disclosed up front but again, by law, I don't think they can do this.

    Called for airport shuttle pick up, and were told that they were on their way and then hung up on. No direction as to where to pick up the shuttle. Called and again, with no answer. Waited about 30 minutes for shuttle. Rooms were not ready when we arrived at the hotel and our name was put on a "call list", our luggage stored and we were given a discount card at a nearby restaurant. We returned to the hotel about 2 hours later, where they were checking individuals in. When I asked why we weren't called, I was told they did call me. I verified the phone number called with the staff member, and the number was correct, but we never received a call. None the less, we did get checked in only to have to wait for an elevator as one of the elevators was not operable.

    The lobby was full of people heading to their cruise or flight. The restaurant was closed for lunch, but the clerk behind the desk kind enough to give us a food coupon for the restaurant nearby. We signed up for transport for the next morning. When we got there they took a group ahead of us that hadn't even signed up till the morning of. The desk clerk called for another transport van and it was already full of passengers, my husband had to stand in the back by the luggage. Needless to say we will not be returning, nor advise any of our friends or family to stay.

    Check in was slow while the attendant signed into the system, the ordering food at their Bistro took longer than expected while none of the previous tables in their restaurant were cleared, so every table had the previous client’s eaten food sitting out.     The only good part of my stay was when I got to leave. The room was dirty. The shower add her in it, which I presume was from previous occupant. There’s mold in the tile and wall. The ice machine was broken. The coffee machine was broken. The shampoo was broken. One of the lightbulbs were broken. The ironing board was full of stains and terrible. The iron itself put marks on my clothing.. The couch was covered in stains. The room smelled. Would not recommend for my dog to even stay here.

    Got a “suite” for family of 5…it was tiny! The pullout chair-not sofa-had no sheets/blanket etc anywhere in the room so had to call desk for some. Why not just leave them in the room like every other hotel? The pull out sheet and blanket were so old…and thin. The blanket was an old old brown fleece like material. Not amazing. The room smelled like either mildew or burnt rubber-it was an odd smell but both my husband and myself noticed it. The WIFI IS A JOKE! My son couldn’t even get online with his laptop-WiFi just slow. iPads kept disconnecting etc. Oh, you have to pay $15/day for parking but parking lot full. We were able to find a spot every time we left and came back after driving around but it’s not a large parking lot and I can see people not being able to. And another FYI-it’s directly next to a train station-so I hope you love the sound of a train directly under your window. The kids loved it but myself trying to sleep, not so much. Is it the worst I’ve stayed at..no. Was it mediocre, yes. The “Starbucks” machine was also broken for our stay, so my friend paid for regular coffee she could have made in her room for free-they charged her for Starbucks coffee when the Starbucks machine wasn’t even working-it was regular coffee!

    Came early off cruise ship. They were super busy getting new cruise ship customers out the door while we were coming in. They got us in by 12:00. Location was nice with bass pro next door with a good restaurant. They got us to the airport on time. No complaints.

    Everyone was very friendly, rooms were clean and neat, staff made great suggestions, my only complaint was that I booked thinking that breakfast was included with room (I appreciate a complimentary breakfast and coffee bar, which is what I normally look for), but spending 20 ish dollars for 2 eggs, bacon, toast, coffee just seems a little pricey for me… I know that this is handed down prices from corporate, which is why I don’t hold it against the hotel… Hotel is very nice, I’d stay again… also enjoyed taking a walk next door to experience my first ever trip to a bass pro shops lol. I recommend, and hope everyone enjoys their stay as much as we did

    We finally checked in after 3pm. The lady that checked us in kept saying that my last name was wrong when my reservation email is correct. When we got to our room, the place looked nice and clean. The bed felt soft but the side I was on had a dip. I woke up with back pain. The pillows were fluffy but not very supportive when slept on. My bathroom faucet plug was broken. Thankfully the maintenance guy walked by. He fixed it later that night. We kept noticing a loud hum throughout our stay. It was loud enough to be bothersome, but not annoying enough to ask for another room. The hum kept going on until 11:59pm. Then it stoped. Our room must have been directly above their laundry room. The hum sounded like the dryer and washing machine running. Checking out was fine. We put the room key in the checkout bin and left. Too bad we weren’t able to spend more time outside. The pool looked like it would have been fun. We also took a stroll in the outdoor sitting area and it was beautiful.

    Staff was polite. Room was clean. Hotel is very nice. Only complaint is temperature in the room. It was very warm and the thermostat seemed to be for looks only. Cool air was blowing from the register but not strong enough to cool the room down to be comfortable

    Room was nice. However the bathroom needed cleaning attention. Blood like stain ( could be makeup ) on the bathroom wall. Pubic hair from previous guest on the shower floor ( gross ). Also arrived at 1 p.m. asked for early check in and was told to sit in the waiting area to see if something opens up and they'd call us . Never got that call and was made to wait until exactly 3 p.m. before we went back to the counter on our own and got our room. Also had to pay for parking even as a guest .

    This is a great hotel for cruisers. They have a free airport shuttle and for $20 pp, a shuttle. If you decide to use the shuttle during peak season, be prepared for long waits. We opted to take Ubers from the airport at end of a long travel day.because we didn’t want to wait

    We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port due to its very close proximity to both the Airport and the Cruise Terminals. We were able to use the free shuttle to the airport, which we needed to schedule in advance. This was easy to do and convenient. The hotel itself is very comfortable and there was only minimal noise from the airport (it is not something that bothered us but might bother very light sleepers). This Courtyard does not offer a free breakfast, but doe have an expectedly pricey food counter that does offer breakfast items for sale.We spent about $55 each morning for two for coffee, orange juice, and a breakfast burrito. This counter also offers light lunch and dinner options too. But we chose to go elsewhere via Uber/Lyft (as the hotel is not really by anything other than the new train station). We would definitely chose to stay here again if we were flying in/out for a cruise.

    I had to book last minute on Thanksgiving day because our flight was cancelled. The shuttle took a long time. It was nice that the café was open until late because we were starving. We had to leave very early in the morning the shuttle was in time. My issue was that my son left his pillow. He noticed as soon as we were at the airport. I called and the hotel was not helpful at ALL. I was going to uber there but we didn’t have enough time. I left my name and number with the rep and he claimed they would call me. My child was so upset. It’s his special toddler pillow. I know for certain we left it in the room. I called about 5 times and each rep promised they would find it and call me. I even spoke to a manager, who was very nice and promised to call me back. I still have not received a call back. My child is still crying over it. What a disappointment. We all know for certain it was left in the room.

    I booked this hotel for the reputation, reviews and the free shuttle to the airport. I arrived early so I had to wait until 3 PM. When I checked in at that time, I was told I couldn’t get the shuttle back to the airport at 5AM the next morning because it was already full. No one told me I had to call in or contact them in advance to get a reservation for the airport shuttle. The counter agent told me they’d check if there was anything they could do. No one contacted me. The next morning I went to the lobby and again was told I couldn’t use their airport shuttle unless I went at 6AM which was too late to arrive at airport 2hrs prior. I had to get an Uber. They could’ve advised at check in or even on their description that if using a shuttle service to make reservations. That put a big damper on my stay. I also want to add that I had to call down to the front desk for help as the air/heat unit wouldn’t come on. They advised that I had to use the thermostat in the far wall away from unit instead. Again, another lack of communication from the staff.

    I usually get anxiety choosing a hotel, because of comfortability and cleanliness. I must say this hotel met and almost exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was cleaned, and smelled great. Everything worked. My only complaint is the location of the only mirrors including the full length mirror was inside of the bathroom. Otherwise everything was great, including the complimentary shuttle to the airport.

    In that room there are two light switches that don’t do anything. In the shower there is caulk that has mold growing on it. The tub doesn’t drain properly, so after a shower it took 5-10 minutes for the water to drain out.

    Arrived early on Sunday morning from the airport (10:40 am) with no expectation of getting a room that early. I joined a list of five guests waiting to check in earlier than the 3:00 pm check-in time. Went for a long walk and lunch returning at 1 pm. The front desk said they still could not check me in. Still couldn’t at 3. Finally at 4 pm, after expressing my exasperation, we got our room. From 10 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon they could only clean five rooms. Ridiculous. I would never stay here again.

    Airport shuttle was a bit of a wait. We had to call the hotel twice, but the driver was friendly. Check in was not good. There as a system upgrade and the staff started heling people who came after us and totally ignored us. The room was clean except there was hair in the bathroom and the bed was too soft. You literally sink into the mattress. I prefer a firmer mattress. Did not use the business centre so cannot say. Also, elevators are super slow. If you want to visit sawgrass mall, it was about a 15-20 min uber.

    The outside sitting area & pool are very nice. The only thing holding me back from 5 stars all the way is the fact that the airport shuttle was completely full so we were told that they couldn’t take us. The shuttle was our primary reason for booking there! We had our name on their reservation list for the shuttle. Given the number of people on the list they should have planned accordingly. They finally got a 2nd shuttle but why the added stress at 5am?!

    The hotel had our door lock taped down when I brought it up to management they said it was there due to painting, but that was not the case. The door was damaged. There was no paint done anytime in the recent history. The towels had feces on them. I would never ever go back to this hotel.

    The front desk staff had no idea what was going on. They had some event going on and kids were running around jumping on furniture screaming it was terrible. Parents had no control over these kids. Elevators were slow and kids were in the elevators unsupervised. I think they holding the elevators up on their floors.Staff at front desk told us the shuttle to airport would take us at 530am but the shuttle doesn’t run at that time. If I hadn’t gone down early to check my car I would’ve have missed the shuttle. Shuttle people were not friendly. They acted like they were doing you a favor. No instructions on how to get a return shuttle. Will not stay here again.

    The Driver went back to Marriott because a passenger forgot his weed pipes. His behavior was becoming very irrational. In turning the vehicle around, we had to wait on him to locate his small bag of stuff. I thought this was unfair. He should have taken the ride to the airport and returned with the driver.

    The night staff was way more knowledgeable than those that worked during business hours. I had to request shower gel twice before it was delivered.     Overall, the stay itself was enjoyable. The room was clean and well taken care of and the person who checked us in was very nice and noticed we were in town for a concert. However, we did forget a very nice ergonomic pillow in the room that we had brought with us. To be frank, the staff was rude and unhelpful with the whole process of retrieval. Peter, one of the front desk workers tried to give us a standard hotel pillow claiming that it was our pillow when it was clearly not and when I told him this he said there was nothing else he could do and that we would have to wait till tomorrow for them to check the room again. Long story short, don't stay here if you want any help from the staff.

    I was charged more than the price of one night's stay for checking in 8 hours early and they charged my card five times for one night. The room was vacant but had not been properly cleaned. The comforter was dirty, the room had not been dusted and the bathroom wasn't very clean. We will not be staying again and they can keep their $6 bottle of water.

    Housekeeping out of 4 asked did not speak English and did not know where laundry facilities were. Room was clean. Front desk lady very helpful. Restaurant Bistro was terrible. Had nothing advertised and prices were ridiculous. Outside of room was nasty, carpets soiled and stained. Downstairs lobby was nice and attractive.

    Happy hour didn’t exist, although the front desk told us that it started at 5 o’clock. We found the sign and showed it to the guy behind the bar/coffee/foodr area and he took it and put it down below and didn’t honor any specials. In the morning the lady behind the coffee/bar/food area was friendly and made us breakfast sandwiches.

    It was very convenient for us. We traveled for a girl trip on a cruise. The shuttle was quick and the driver was super helpful and friendly. They even gave us a discount coupon for a nearby restaurant which was in walking distance and the food was wonderful. There was also a bistro we stopped for a quick little breakfast on the way out.

    The property is a ways off from majority things if you’re reliant on public transportation (the tri rail station is right in front of the hotel) but it’s the best experience, great room, great workout center, the pool was amazing, and the staff was super helpful will definitely be staying here again!
