Clean and good location. Everything you need was right there. Ice rink was a plus

Best stay for us in years! Michael, Desk Manager, got us in our room so quick and thanked us for returning. Their Lobby Bar is new and definitely a great place to relax. Ate Breakfast at their 2nd floor restaurant and it was so good, cooked our eggs just right. The Valet and Bell staff are exemplary.

I stayed at the Westin before, and it was just as I remembered. The room was was clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. The Westin is connected to the Galleria which is great if you are in Dallas for shopping or have forgotten something for a special event. The only negative is valet parking is extremely high. We were in a time crunch for attending an event and had to park quickly. Get there early and find self parking. It is worth it. Valet parking is a little over $41 for one overnight. Would stay again.

We normally stay at this hotel when we at we in the area as it is always well maintained and in the same location as a large mall. There are two entrances, 1st and 2nd floors, to the mall. We normally step out to a small restaurant just inside the mall area called Corner Bakery Cafe on the 2nd floor, for breakfast as they open at 6:00am.

My 2nd day there I was leaving and stopped by the front desk & asked for my key cards to be re-Keyed. I explained that I lost one of my keys and I would feel safer if he made new ones all together for me. When I came back an hour & a 1/2 later, someone had been in my room, and took some of my things. I was extremely upset. So either they did it wrong when he made new keys or someone went up to the front desk and was given one, yet I am the only one registered. I had to leave again for my daughter's birthday party. When I got back all they did was change my room 2 stories up. I told one of the men that I really didn't want to stay there anymore, but it was late & I wasn't going to pack my stuff and find another place to go. I am pretty sure I know who it was who entered my room, but the point is that it never should have happened. That could have ended up being really bad. I feel like I should at least not had to pay for my stay. Because of whoevers mistake it was, costed me dearly, other then the $925 it took to get the room. I am not at all happy with my stay.

Room service is awful. It’s fully automated so no personal service. Couldn’t get automation order in so desk clerk came up and put in our order on his phone. He was great, but shouldn’t have had to do that. You expect more from a Westin

It was connected to the Dallas galleria mall, which was perfect for those who like to stay close to hotel. The mall has shopping, food courts, ice skating and wonderful onsite restaurants! The room was extremely clean and spacious, so was the hotel areas! The parking was very limited in front of hotel so you had to park in one of many parking garages on site and walk through the large mall with your luggage. There was valet service which was very expensive and cars were backed up in front of the hotel. Not a good look, and was not safe for families with small children entering hotel.

Rooms were old and kind of musty smelling. The staff was not welcoming at all, in fact almost a little stand offish. The parking is absolutely horrendous.

The room was exceptionally clean, bed felt AMAZING to my broken spine, and the shower! Talk about heaven! They seemed to sense that we needed a room as far from people as possible. It was perfect. And what a beautiful view of the city. We got settled in and stayed til we left. It was the absolute, perfect and quiet night we needed to refresh and renew before hitting the road again. I was nervous about staying here because there were some pretty negative reviews, but I ended up loving it. The room was bigger than the pictures made it seem. The bed was comfortable. Loved the window seating. My only complaint was that the shower was a little slow to drain, but it wasn’t too bad. Also, the guy that checked me in was so friendly and helpful. Next time I’m in Dallas, I’m definitely staying here again.

The Westin Galleria is probably one of the nicest Westins anywhere and has a great location within the Galleria mall, making it convenient to shopping, dining, etc. The staff was impeccable!

This room was convenient because we were doing a big shopping trip and were so glad we stayed there. We ate dinner across the street at Joey Uptown and it was phenomenal. We were pleased with the double room with king sized beds. Quality bedding and an actual thick blanket at the end of the bed, nice pillows one soft and one medium. Towels and bathroom were great. Room was very spacious. We didn’t go for the pool but it was not fancy.

Remodeling so check in was a little messy. Also, because the front desk had been moved, there were no snacks available to purchase. Our floor was loud and the slamming doors shook our beds. Our tub & toilet were not cleaned and while valeting my vehicle for the weekend, my sunglasses were taken. Probably wouldn't stay again.

I called about 5 times to have someone take a look at a really loud ( I mean loud) noice that was comming from the ac unit in my room! They did come once but nothing was done about it! After 3 days of being extremely patient they finally offered to change rooms. But at this point I was completely over it! So I checked out! No money back ofocurse! I was staying another night

The hotel is attached to a large shopping mall. There are a lot of food court options too. Central to the things on our list to do. Staff was great. Would stay here again for sure!

Very good property attached to a major mall with several restaurants nearby and adjacent to some heavily trafficked roadways. However, my room had very little natural light (the X23 rooms on each floor) so dampened my stay. In other words, I liked everything but my actual room.

Extraordinarily small loading/unloading/valet area. Cars attempt to narrowly squeeze by although there’s no room for error. No guest receiving lobby with any amenities whatsoever ie coffee water, soft drinks. paid or otherwise. .. only corridors and elevators. The check-in desk is on the second floor. No fold out luggage stand in room. No Microwave in the consumable amenities cabinet. The Hotel is next to a loud, high traffic highway, which echoes into rooms enough to interfere with sleep. Theres no Greenbelts of trees or grass, only concrete curbs, sidewalks, and part of a Mall’s parking area without sufficient Handicapped Parking. The Westin at Dallas Galleria was once a beautiful Concierge’d Serviced Hotel worth the higher price for a Five Star room. Now, it doesn’t even meet Holiday Inn Express standards. Shame on Marriott, we’ll never stay there again.

An excellent hotel for visits to suburban rather than central Dallas. It was everything I needed it to be, and was clean and spacious. Recommended.

Easy access to the mall. However our AC never really cooled down and our fridge wasnt working properly. When we informed the front desk all we were told was talks for the information. Other than that, everything was clean, and check in was easy.

Guest service was very helpful. Room was clean and very comfortable. Bathroom has abundant supply of shampoo, body wash and conditioner. The housekeeper, I can tell was very meticulous for the way the room was put in order when we got back. We especially loved the location which is directly adjacent to mall. Very convenient. We came here for the ice skating and its just one floor down from hotel mall entrance. My son loves sleeping by the window. The space there was like a bed with a view.

Unexpectedly wonderful stay!! CHARMAIGNE gets the Top shout out from the front desk!!!! She knew that we were handicapped and upgraded us to a bigger room that was handicapped with a nice view. She could not have been more friendly and professional. We had a nice talk. The rooms were impeccable. The beds were heavenly centrally located for DALLAS I used to live in the Addison area. I would definitely say there again no room service unfortunately just paper bags but we are one step out the door to the right one floor up is the Starbucks they open at 6 AM could not have been any better handicapped so we did not use valet. the Oceanaire is a fine, fine, seafood restaurant, exceptional seafood, five stars for a fabulous hotel

Always enjoy the stay at this Westin property in Dallas. Never had any issues with parking, but if you come back later in the evening, you’ll likely be parking in one of the mall parking garages, attached to the hotel.
