Our room was a little small but comfortable with luxury touches. Robes, slippers, rain shower. We loved the fitness center but the pièce de résistance was the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed every day. Mahmoud the bartender was superb! Kudos to the Joule, it is a Jewel

This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location!! The attached restaurants are very good, the staff is very friendly. However, the room configuration is extremely strange with the bathroom essentially subdivided by a hallway. There’s no privacy, including a beveled door for the toilet lol not sure who thought that was a good idea?! Also, the pool is incredibly small. Perhaps I should’ve known that, but from the pictures, it looks dramatically different.

What’s an amazing place to stay very well located people are super nice. The VIP car service was amazing. All the staff was super amazing. Made to stay a great great time. I will definitely be staying there again in the near future.

This is a true low to mid tier 5 star- not in a bad way whatsoever, but in the sense that you’re getting one of the lower cost five stars that definitely acts like one. The staff is always very helpful. The valet is very convenient. The location is central to downtown. The rooftop pool is amazing and always very clean. The rooms are always top-notch. They’re very quiet and extremely comfortable with all the amenities you’d expect. The lobby bar is very accessible. The staff is great and the drinks were actually really good. Unless I need to be somewhere outside of Dallas, I only stay here the best thing for your buck in the city

We celebrated my husband’s birthday at the Joule. The room was nice and spacious. It was located near many restaurants that were in walking distance. We had an issue with parking. We had to circle the hotel several times for valet parking. We were considering parking in one of the parking garages but we didn’t know which garage was for the hotel. Would we stay here again? Yes but we would park in one of the parking garages instead.

Unfortunately, the AC failed in my room and the issue was not resolved during my stay. That was an unexpected miss, especially given the standard the property otherwise upholds. Had this not occurred, this would have been a flawless five-star stay across the board.

You can tell they take pride in representing the hotel at a high level. Every interaction we had was fantastic. Looking forward to the next time we are in Dallas. Edgar was helpful with my luggage. I enter the room and find a card and a fruit plate addressed to someone else. Didnt have the bottle of wine that was suppose to be delivered. Didnt receive the xtra pillows or blankets as requested. Hotels.com shows on wording an ipad comes with the room. It doesn't though. Description of room has a city view. The city view was from the bathroom. From the room all we saw was a party room with a lot of people drinking and being loud. Pay per view movies not a choice like the description says on hotels.com. Indoor pool, steam room and sauna available to guest for only $100/daily. Yep-not included in my stay. Shower was large. Stepped on the drain and it jiggled a bit. Lifted it up and found heavy mold underneath. For all the mistakes, i was given a complimentary hand cream to help make up for it all. Two elevator doors but only one was in service. I spent over a grand for 3 nights. A huge disappointment over all. The staff was nice and tried to be helpful but sending a tube of handcream was insulting

The room was really nice as well, I did notice some things but I believe they were natural mishaps and shouldnt be taken into account of the hotel itself. I celebrated my boyfriend's 22nd birthday in the Loft Suite, and it was just such a nice room with two bathrooms with showers. EVERYTHING was a standout! It is clear that personalized, guest service, in their job-one. This was my first trip to Dallas and I highly recommend The Joule as a place where you can feel safe and comfortable in an unfamiliar city.

Beautiful historical property. Very unique, luxe, and accommodating Checking in was a hassle and quite frustrating.

Heat did not work (worked the temp for over 8 hours), NO extra blanket in closet, freezing all night. No body wash in shower container, tv only went to 9 max volume (we worked the remote for an hour).

It was a great hotel, there was a weekend wedding which we weren't part of so the attention, rightfully was elsewhere, and some of the amenities, cellar bar, spa weren't available. We enjoyed our stay but didn't eat at the restaurant, looked great though.

The room didn’t have any bar soap to wash my hands. I ordered in room dining and they didn’t clean the table after they removed the tray or even after I requested the room to be cleaned. I was surprised to come back to a dirty room when I arrived back from being gone all days-returned at 4pm.

I stayed here because I was doing business at AT&T headquarters. You cannot get more convenient than right across the street! The hotel is lovely, and, though one of the restaurants was closed for renovation, the other, Sansetta, was quite good. The staff is also outstanding. I'd definitely stay again if I were doing business in downtown Dallas.

Staff was absolutely amazing, the room was very clean. Pool is only open until 8pm. No coffee maker in the room. Refreshments and snacks in the room but get ready to pay $10 for pack of M&Ms. $64 for valet parking (overnight) and $39 destination fee. Location was great!

The hotel is really well decorated, I love the art displays. However, it’s quite noisy at night, I can hear traffics outside the window and other hotel guests talking loudly in the middle of the night.

First of all, I requested a suite for my son and his wife. This was their honeymoon night. They didn’t get the room that I paid for when they got there the welcome sign had someone else’s name on it, and not theirs, which I thought was very disrespectful. I paid too much money for this room was not worth the pay at all. I am not one to write a review, but this was a very special occasion for my son and his wife, and it was not what I expected.

Everything went great except for the walk back to the room in soaking wet swimsuits as we were denied robes in the spa and the delivery of the food to the room which we had to pick up ourselves from the restaurant.

From check in to check out the staff were all amazing and friendly! They treated us like VIPs all weekend. Pool servers went out of their way to take care of us. The room was huge and the bathroom and shower were awesome. Our morning at the spa was enjoyable also with massages, sauna, steam room etc. Will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful experience during our stay at the Joule. Customer service is not always first and foremost these days at hotels, but The Joule goes above and beyond. Everyone from the valet guys to the front desk staff were all so friendly and helpful. Also, the text system they use to check on people is really helpful. The downtown location is so convenient. I will definitely stay here again.

This is such a wonderful boutique hotel with an even more fabulous staff! My room a had a great view of The Eye, but not much else from the other windows. Room was next to the stairs so it was really quiet. Shower was great and so were the double sinks. Personalized welcome letter and snack tray were a delight. I hated the downtown street construction and the overnight parking rate, but I would definitely stay here again!

The 24/7 hotel gym is closed and under construction. This was never communicated before the stay. This is an important amenity (I booked a hotel with a 24/7 gym because of my tight schedule this weekend and the need to be at the gym very early in the morning). It was unfortunate that I did not find out it was closed until check-in. Very disappointing.

It was clean The parking was so expensive being we paid 500$ for a 12 hour or so stay then the candies are 10$ that’s rediculous for those prices candy and parking should be free so this is not for normal unrich ppl at ALL

We had booked 7 rooms in total and the property had us wait close to 3 hours to access 4 of them. I tried to request updates but didn't get any info unless I continually followed up. We dined at the restaurants and spent a large amount of money but were not treated as such. When I asked for late check out based on the late check in, we were not allowed

The property was fantastic. The underground bar they have is awesome. We went to their Spa for a massage and facial and it was top notch. The staff was incredibly accommodating. We didn't have a car, so i have no idea about their parking charges. We walked to bars and restaurants and it was great. We sat at their nice pool and they had waiter service and bar at the pool. The service everywhere was great. We stayed in a Premier room with huge bathroom and jacuzzi. Room was clean and quiet. This hotel seemed to have everything.

I love everything about the Joule! The staff by far is my favorite part about staying! Holli, JP and Luse at the desk, and the GM of Sassetta Liz where outstanding! The valet staff were so helpful with parking and helping with directions. Best hotel in Dallas!!

The spa looked good as well. We enjoyed dinner- salmon was perfect and the fries were all that. Glad we stayed there. Heard the celler bar was packed.

Room service from the hotel restaurant CBD Provisions was the best room service we've ever had. Room was very comfortable with a great view of the eyeball. Amazing shower. Great location close to restaurants and attractions. Bath robes were so soft I had to buy one. Will definitely be returning.

Spent 2 nights for an anniversary celebration. Very relaxing atmosphere with dining options in hotel and nearby. Used the vehicle they provided for dinner one evening. They drop off and pickup within 3 miles. My dog was welcome at no extra charge. Seemed like a one of a kind boutique hotel with friendly staff.

I love the Joule and always stay here when I visit Dallas, but this was my first stay in a double queen bed room and I was not a fan. We had half-frosted windows that wouldn’t open, which it turns out is because we were facing the 4th floor roof. It was just a darker, less bright room and had a strange bathroom setup compared to the single king rooms I’ve always booked. but the house car, coffee shop, bar, and restaurant are all too notch. The people here are all also very kind.

The hotel itself was very nice, and the staff seemed very pleasant and accommodating. My issues were with the heat not working in our room, and the outside noise (which I'm aware they could do nothing about, only including it because it will matter to some). The manager did comp our parking and our breakfast at one of their restaurants to try to make up for the inconvenience of the night. They also brought us a space heater, since they had no comparable room to move us to. We enjoyed our stay overall, hopefully they get their HVAC and heating situation solved.

The Joule was ok. There was a very pungent sewerage smell in our room. We were able to switch rooms. Then we were welcomed with another sewerage smell in the middle of the night that woke us up. For the money I paid....this definitely left me disappointed.

The hotel was stunning. Food was amazing and location great. Unfortunately, we have had several questionable high dollar charges made to our credit card by the property. We have made several attempts to call and speak to a manager to resolve the issues and have been told someone would have to call us back. No one has done so.

Beautiful hotel, this is my second time. Much better than the first time. Room was great. View was okay. Wanted to go on the deck but it was closed because of the season. Other than that, the food at CBD was amazing, service was amazing, cocktails were amazing, highly recommend the espresso martini.

The location and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Nothing.. it was perfect

The staff at the Joule is absolutely amazing! The facility it’s a walk through art exhibit with beauty everywhere you look! The rooms are nice, clean, and worth every penny. The restaurants in the hotel itself were delicious and convenient. The highlight for me though was the staff. They are super friendly, extremely accommodating, and show genuine interest in you and your stay. Have a question, ask the concierge. Their knowledge of local food and attractions is endless and extremely helpful if unfamiliar with the area. I highly recommend staying at this amazing establishment.

The Jewel is definitely a five star hotel to me. One of the best I’ve ever stayed in, the best service I’ve ever had, and love all the art and scenery in the area and in a hotel. I will be back to stay there again.

Nothing, everything was great!

The highlight was the front desk. Alessandra (hope I spell her name right) and her colleague were so lovely since I arrived at the hotel. They were exceptionally attentive and did more than any hotel staff would do to make me feel welcome. When I said I didn’t have anything to eat the whole day, they suggested the food and ordered it for me. If I was based in Dallas, I would hire them to work for me. Remarkable customer experience.

What an unbelievable stay. Great hotel with great customer service. Front desk wqs a pure delight with Ella and Aly. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Everything was fine except the mattress was not comfortable and the bill for valet parking was outrageous. I was not informed of the $65/night charge at the front desk when I checked in so I was astonished at checkout. I stay in hotels all over the world and country and have NEVER paid that much for a valet. And never will!

My husband and I spend 2 - 3 nights at the hotel a few times a year just to get away without getting on a plane. The hotel and its facility are beautiful, the service is excellent, and the spa is amazing — as you would expect from a luxury property of this caliber. Highly recommeded.

I got be honest. I stayed here maybe about the 4'th time. I am a big coffee man. I think for the price that You pay. Coffee should be complementary. Also there were a lot of menu items that looked good in the dinner area in the cbd.

Great hotel and amazing spa. Lobby was gorgeous and rooms were so nice and comfy. Every person working there was incredibly nice and helpful. Great coffee shop in the lobby, great restaurants attached to the hotel. If I didn’t go to bed so early I would have hit up the Midnight Rambler bar, heard it was great. Definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff at the front desk was amazing and everyone there was so friendly. I loved the hospitality and how attentive they were to me and my wifes needs. Will highly recommend!

The biggest problem with the low review is not the hotel itself but booking through Expedia I always seem to get the worst rooms the hotel has. My room was located directly below the gym. So absolutely no sleeping in for me.

The staff really makes this hotel the Joule in the crown of Dallas. Gorgeous building, staff were amazing and people were all round lovely. They left me a welcome note in my room which I thought was a lively touch. Exceptional hotel, upgrade on arrival, and food was great in both restaurants. I was looked after from the beginning to end. Thank you to all staff for looking after me. Hopefully get a another chance to stay in the summer time.

Absolutely outstanding, loved everything about the place and i will be back. Right downtown and the middle of the action!!!!
