Reviews
The hotel is generally praised for its location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. However, many guests have expressed dissatisfaction with the parking situation, which is often described as inconvenient and overpriced. The quality of the beds and pillows also seems to be a recurring issue, with some guests finding them uncomfortable.

Great stay! The staff went above and beyond during our stay, highly recommend!

I know this hotel is in downtown butttt, you have to pay extra for parking and the parking garage is on the side. You have to walk with your baggage down a steep garage hill and then up to your room. That was REALLY inconvenient but the place was pretty nice other than that. I loved the roof too pool and used the gym ofc

Super close to Dos Equis Amp which was important to us.

I booked this property through Expedia as I have booked through Expedia for 10 years. I paid through the app like I always do. Somehow when I got to this particular property the payment that I made on Expedia was just a “hold” and I needed to pay them directly. I have not yet received a refund and had to reach out to Expedia the next week. They are working to get this resolved so my issues it not with Expedia but instead this property.

We looked for a Bible in the room (though we had our own) but did not find one. Also, we could not access TBN on the television. Otherwise the room was fine. Thanks for asking.

The front desk staff, ALL of THEM, were amazing!!!! So helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great too. Love this place. 2nd stay in 6 months here and will always stay here when I come to Dallas.

Great customer service! The guy at the front desk for nightshift deals with alot! Definitely deserves a raise for sure! Rooms were clean, lobby was clean, and the building was quiet!

If you are looking for a place to stay that is close to the Baylor Medical Center, then this is the place. If you are looking for a place that is 5 star, this is not the place. Rooms were clean, but had to ask for more towels and room did not get cleaned til day 3. Hallway carpets were filthy. Breakfast was good.
- 4/5
Its LOUD, not just outside but inside as well. Cars racing (like literally racing, not just speeding) down the road at 2 am, people walking and talking loudly in the hall, sirens every hour, so bring ear plugs! Also the shower door would not shut

We were in town from 500 miles away for a doctor's visit right across the street. So the location was perfect. Eric was at the front desk when we checked in and he was exceptional. Friendly, efficient & welcoming. The room was great.. everything you would need The beds, perhaps it was just ours? But it was so uncomfortable I opted to unfold the couch bed, which was not an improvement. Had we not been exhausted we may have changed rooms. Don't like soft water for showers, that's nitpicking.. well the parking garage next door isn't necessarily far- it's not convenient either. Doable but not ideal. Limited TV, I've gotten accustomed to apps being offered in room via sign in, that wasn't an option in our room so we were limited to the scroll
- 4/5
The only inconvenience was having to park in the parking garage level 2, next to the hotel and having to walk over to the hotel and being buzzed in.

The tub did not hold water nor did the blind work. The blind had to be manually rolled from the top to go up or down. The breakfast was nice and plenty of options. The staff was pleasant. General areas clean. Room itself had some sort of repair by the window along the wall and ceiling. Room was clean just needed some love

WE interacted with two desk clerks. One stayed in the back, so the desk always looked closed, but if you stood there for a while, he would come out of the back room. The other was just hostile. The room was reasonably clean and neat, and the beds comfortable. We did not use the breakfast or other amenities because we were only there to get a few hours of sleep before a medical appointment. The hotel is very difficult to access. There is a very small curbed strip (two cars were in it when we arrived and we had to wait out in the street until someone moved, WE circled the block a few times because there was (of course) traffic that we were blocking as we waited, There is a brick wall that hides the hotel doors (you have to go past one end of the wall and up a long ramp to reach the doors, all of which is hidden by the brick wall. From the street there is no way to know this is the one and only entrance to the hotel. A lsrge sign saying "HOTEL ENTRANCE DOORS" over the doors would help. There is a sign that says "10-minute parking for hotel entrance" or something very similar near the short strip of pavement, but as the doors are hidden behind the brick wall, there is no sign of any way to enter the hotel. We found the hotel with no issue, but spent over 1/2 an hour trying to figure out how to get in,

The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet. There is a walk-in shower that I love too. The parking garage not being attached to the hotel and the door to the hotel is way around the block. Not great if you're a woman alone at night in this area.
- 3/5
The layout of the room was good I was charged for something that I still don’t know what.. we left the room tidy, so not sure what the extra charge was for. I should’ve been notified with the bill and reason. Also I felt it was unsafe to have the parking garage unattached to the building walking at night and early morning with my child and luggage to my car..
- 2.5/5
When we first checked in the lady at the desk was extremely rude. When we would ask her a question she would just point giving the perception that she thought we were stupid for asking. We book Home2Suite because we were impressed with the first one we stayed at. But the first impression we received at this most recent one was very negative. The way the parking garage sits beside the hotel and you have to walk to the hotel door which is not in view of anyone at the front desk feels unsafe

Had an excellent experience. We were able to check in as early as 11 am. The staff were able to resolve the issue we faced with the dishwasher. The breakfast is very good. They have waffles, excellent sandwich options, yogurt with oatmeal. It is good value for money. You don't really need a car for Dallas as the DART LRT station is just 4 minutes walk away..

I wanted to bring my daughter to visit at the pool but it was not nice enough to invite her. It is small, on the second floor with high traffic noise and the amenities and tables were discolored with chipped fading paint and a full surrounding deck in need of replacement. Do not go to this hotel for the pool. But you would like to stay close to the medical center and have easy access to Munger and the arts district, its OK. I'd give it a 6 on a scale of 1-10.

The incident that takes the cake though happened Sunday evening around 7:00pm. I needed to access our room after dinner but my partner accidentally left the key in the room. So I popped by the front desk and got a keycard. Went up to the room but the keycard did not work. I went back to the front desk where I was told I needed to wait until he got done checking in other guests. About 5 to 10 minutes goes by and he grabs a set of master keys and goes up to our room, 412. However, his master didn’t work either. He then explained to me that we have no choice but to wait on his supervisor to call who is dealing with a family emergency at another local hospital. I was visibly upset!! I needed in my room. As he walked away he mumbles “We can at least act civilized” — Excuse me?? I denied the 2nd night stay on my cc,

It would have been good to understand that the parking garage wasn't attached. There was just an area on one side of the building to park temporarily in order to check in & unload luggage before parking next door. Not one single luggage cart was available inside. Very few USB plugs in room & one worked poorly. Mattress & pillows needed to be retired. No fault of the hotel, but night street noise was bad, at least Saturday night.

My friend and i was amazed by how clean and spacious the room was, and i liked that there is a big window coz i want natural light to come in from outside, it brightens the room. Only thing i noticed is the flush from the cr, i noticed that around 1am, the flush is not working. And then after a few minutes, my friend tried the flush and it worked again. It may be a minor one but what if you really need it? But other than that, it was a pleasant experience staying there.

Check in and check out was a breeze. The room was clean and spacious. Highly recommend if you're looking for an affordable place to stay.

When we first checked in the room smelt like feet. Almost to make you gag. No wifi and i thought i ordered that...not sure...overall it was a fair stay...usually alot cleaner and fresher that this time

The hotel was clean and the employees were nice and helpful.

Notified last minute of room change due to plumbing issue. No voicemail or email left and no manager onsite to assist with another accommodation. Terrible experiencia.

Quiet and comfortable. Good location to walk to Deep Ellum.

needed to get to the medical center super early. Booked the handicap room by accident but turned out it was great. Very large = huge. Full kitchenette

I dont usually eat the breakfast but it was arranged very neat and clean so we did. This location is very tidy! The beds are so comfy!

Overall it was great. A note for the hotel : the material on the desk chair had some stains in the crotch area which could have been food or bodily fluids. That was kind of gross. I’d stay at this hotel again though
- 4/5
The parking is not on the premises. It's in the parking building next door, and accessing it can be a bit confusing.

Was charged 62.80 for 2 bottles of water they wont answer phone or call back to discuss charge

Close Baylor Scott and White

The stay was fine. The parking garage was a nightmare. It was poorly laid out and had poor signage. It was so bad we might not stay at this hotel again.

It is too costly in camper to quality it is just survive
- 1/5
It was NOT worth the expense given the very poor customer service, condition of the hotel, breakfast, and area. I typically don’t leave negative opinions, but this one got to me.

Worked great!

Nice maintained hotel! Just found the entry from the parking garage inconvenient since we had to walk completely around the building to access the lobby. Its fine on a nice day, but a bad weatherman day would really be inconvenient. Espically with luggage and children.

Great room size and clean also in a good location

HOTEL SERVICE AT DESK WAS GREAT. PARKING WAS VERY DANGEROUS. PAYING $5 FOR PARKING IN AN UNSAFE GARAGE. BREAKFAST WAS AWESOME. NOSIY HALLWAY.

Feel safe around nearby areas, liked internal Home alike interior setup. Staff are friendly.

You can hear ppl talking and the walking above you. And breakfast had limited options.

Amazing place to stay. Has everything you need. Kitchen area, nice sized fridge, microwave and a dishwasher. Huge walk in shower. Comfortable beds. We will definitely be back!
- 5/5
The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit dated, including the furniture. It needs an overhaul. But the stay was quiet and pleasant. The area is downtown so in the evenings/weekends is pretty deserted. But there are many restaurants in the area. Some within walking distance; most is a short drive. But parking is a challenge and all lots charge 24/7.

It provided a good home base while needing to be near a family member in the hospital. It was nice to be able to have breakfast waiting for me before I headed to the hospital.

This hotel indallas texas is awesome!!! Staff is so friendly & helpful. Complimentary breakfast is very good & plenty to eat. Several drinks to choose from.

The air conditioning unit would not work. We burned up all night and the air was very stuffy.

great

Our bed was small and uncomfortable. The tv had to be programmed to access channels. This took about 15 minutes to figure out. Being near a hospital meant the sound of ambulances at times. The staff were friendly snd the breakfast was good.

The walk from the parking garage is too long. Felt unsafe.

This property is in close proximity to the Hospital and Doctors Clinic, also the comped parking is a large plus. Very close proximity to areas to eat. We’ve been here several times over the last 6 months and each time is very pleasant.

Rooms were super clean, comfortable, and quite large! The bed was very comfortable and breakfast had plenty of options. I also enjoyed having the kitchen area in the room. Staff was great and able to offer me a late checkout.

Quick, clean, wonderful stay!

They gave us the wrong room at check in and were fully booked so they weren’t able to correct it. One of us had to sleep on the pullout which was insanely uncomfortable. There was also a LOT of street noise.

Everyone was very nice

Very close to the Deep Ellum Entertainment District. Very Clean. Kitchenettes were very well equipped. Breakfast had a large variety,

The lady working the front desk that evening was amazing!! I didn’t get her name but she was so helpful beings the parking garage was a bit confusing. She was also professional and empathetic at check in time and when we door dashed! She is definitely a keeper!

Appointments in the area

My only complaint was the street noise. Lots of ambulances going by. But it is not any fault of the hotel. I expected it being so close to the hospital.
- 5/5
The room and breakfast were first rate. We enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
This was the perfect place to stay because I had a lot of appointments at Baylor and we could walk to every appointment. We had a great view of downtown Dallas, it’s a bit noisy due to sirens and cars racing, but it’s not the hotel’s fault. We’d stay again.

It would be perfect if you add some bottles of water in the room

Furniture in the room was a little beat up, and the shower control was loose and hard to control, but the property is clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive. A very good stay overall.
