My mother and I were staying here because I had to check in the UT southwestern at 6am for a major surgery. From the time we walked in we were welcomed with a wonderful greeting. They asked the reason for our stay and I explained I would be having surgery in the morning. The lady quickly said”I pray guides the doctors in every way and gives you peace throughout the night and days to come.” It was a nice feeling to have her acknowledge what was actually going on.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. The common areas were easily accessible and the hotel was quiet. There were no issues. The pool had debris in it from the surrounding trees.

The air conditioning was nice and cold. The location is within walking distance of the transit train/buses though a clear walking path to location is questionable. Great food breakfast choices.

It was okay. The room was somewhat cramped, with the wardrobe creating a choke point when entering the bed area. As a result, I hit my shoulder a few times on a lamp that was on the wall. The clearance was only about 2.5 feet.

This property met all my needs. The front desk people were especially friendly and helped in my decisions for places to go for entertainment and food.

If you second guessing yourself to stay here don’t. Everything was closed and the day was great.

It was good for the price point, and convenience in location. The Wifi was good, as was the desk facilities to work from. The breakfast area was well attended, and could have had some more offerings. The elevator slow, also others dictated the volume of the TV in the common area, even whilst others were watching.

The location is not easy to find. The internet in the room does not work. I have to use my own data from my cell phone. The water in the shower is too slow. The breakfast has limited choices. The money paid for this place is not worth the benefits received.

The only good thing about this hotel, they have a free parking!

No coffee maker in the rooms. The length of time for them to release the deposit.

The breakfast was amazing. Fully stocked and the staff kept up with keeping everything stocked. The room was clean, the housekeeping staff was very accommodating. Front desk staff was super nice as well. The only downside we had the entire stay was it smelled like skunk on our floor.

The accommodations were very nice, breakfast was great there were lots of options, the bed was very soft and the room I found very clean. I didn’t like that the train went by frequently and my room was close to the tracks, The exterior of the hotel was being painted and the JLG when moved was beeping and a guest in the room next to us was very loud. The noise was annoying.

The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed 4 nights and interacted with several staff members..all very friendly and helpful.

The shower had great water pressure, and plenty of hot water. In addition to having good USB connectors on both sides of the bed, we especially appreciated was the abundance of outlets throughout the room.

The free breakfast was great really enjoyed it. Room was good clean it was all good.

Walkable to Market Hall, excellent location, GREAT staff, clean and comfy rooms and I'll tell ya, the free bfast was HOT and fresh. Other than some ongoing exterior repairs and the outside was filthy on Sunday morning, there was nothing to fault.

This hotel had free parking and a nice breakfast. It's within a 10 minute walk of the light rail... The hotel is the last establishment before the area turns a bit sketchy so I'd be cautious if you plan to do any walking.

My first room had issue with a leak most likely from AC that mad the carpet soaked. Was moved to another room and only way to have toilet flush completely was to lift the lid and pull the plug. Room nice and clean, bed comfortable just maintained poorly

I would have given it a 5 ratings if those pillows were not wrinkled cause it looks like someone had already used it and they were not fluffy enough. Also the accessible room that they gave us has no chair inside the bathroom.

You can tell the hotel is a bit outdated, but its conditions are still favorable. The room and bathroom were clean and looked recently remodeled. The location is very central, so it is close to many of the popular attractions. The staff was super friendly and the check-in/check-out was hassle-free. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dallas.

The property was clean and staff was nice. But Thursday my child had a heart surgery. When she got released Thursday evening she wanted to sit out by the pool to get some fresh air. When we went out there it was full of ppl grilling playing loud music and kids kicking a ball, and a few kids swimming. The pool closes at 10pm which the sign says, but close to 10 security guard came and said we could all be out there till 1030 also fine, 1030 came and only my family was asked to leave. The others stayed which i also realized one of them was also a employee of the front desk

Everything about our stay was great! Parking available all times and the staff was amazing. The front desk was great help! 24/7 help. Rooms were super clean and extra toiletries were left so we didn’t have to ask.

Maybe some mold in the building somewhere but once I asked the lady at the front desk she was so accommodating she changed our room immediately. They have a lot of construction which is ugh but the breakfast was 10+ and the staff was 10+.

The room was updated as in photos, staff was nice, breakfast was your standard however I did have a hair on the boiled egg from the fridge, maybe ensure hair nets are utilized. The hall was loud at times with room door slams, my room door 303 was not sealed and lose with gaps around door that let allot light and sound in, plus room had slow drain tub. Needs some attention to small maintainance details which tracks for the low price point .

We had a great stay here! We stayed overnight for a concert and the staff at check in was very friendly and welcoming! Once we checked in and went to our room, the room was clean and no issues were seen. The breakfast they served was great, it's freshly made and tasted good! Check out was easy. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is not to far from down town and some attractions in Dallas. Breakfast was decent and more than I expected. If you are sensitive to sounds. This may not be for you because there are trains that run pretty much all day. They're not real loud but you will notice them. When I stayed the hotel had a smell that was unpleasant. The broom was clean and the staff was great.

I liked that the hotel had a microwave and a mini fridge. I enjoyed the hot breakfast and how close we were to the thrift stores and the Dallas Stars. I would recommend this place to anyone. Good Price, Good Breakfast, and Good location. nothing that we did not like

Looking for the truth- read here….worst sleep everrrr… This hotel is sandwiched between 2 monorail trains! It was soooo loud!!! The 5th floor reeked of weed and it wasn’t as kept up as the reviews claimed. It needs updating. Bed was ok. Breakfast not that great. Another issue I have is the $100 incidental fees they charge in addition to the room charges. I paid it last Friday night and it is now Friday night a week later. They said 3-5 business days and it should have already been released back to my account. I do not like that this was not mentioned on the website when I booked the room. Go somewhere else. We paid $150 + $100 hold for the night. You can do better with your money. A lot of those reviews must be fake accounts or some promo thing for ppl to leave good reviews. I have a future stay booked at a different Holiday Inn in Houston area but I’m canceling! Very disappointed!

I liked the location of the hotel in accordance with my conference and time spent in Dallas. I liked the included breakfast each morning. The card key seemed a little "janky" to the room. It worked, but wasn't consistent when opening. The facilities weren't the cleanest and the staff sometimes didn't seem friendly.

The room was clean and the staff was nice. During the first night, the room was super hot. The air conditioner wouldn’t cool it down at all. The next day, a manager said he would refund us for one night. We’ll see if that happens. Otherwise, the stay was satisfactory!

Staff great breakfast delicious. The first two nights were not okay, the AC WAS NOT WORKING. I understand that it was cold but to have the heater on full blast in every room unbareable. I was about to check into a different hotel until the concierge was able to provide a box fan for some relief.

I regret to report that my vehicle was stolen from the hotel parking lot during my stay. Additionally, the proximity of a railway line resulted in significant noise disturbance. Consequently, my experience at this hotel did not align with the positive reviews I had previously encountered.

The hotel: An IMPORTANT note is that you have to walk by several homeless camp areas and unlit areas if you choose to use public transport. (Market Center station). We admittedly didn’t have an issue, but we were attentive and played it safe. We are also two men. I would not recommend walking to the train station early morning or late at night. Especially alone. The hotel vending was pretty sparse, they have a snack shop on the main floor that honestly seems stocked with a specific person’s preferences at the hotel and thats about it. Very limited, and out of several key items. They don’t restock often, so good luck. The vending machines on every floor that we checked were out of order. The room: The room was fair upon first glance. No real big concerns. After staying there several nights the issues started to unfold. These issues honestly arent necessarily deal breakers, if you remind yourself it’s cheap, but they add up. The vent fan didnt work in our bathroom - this mainly meant that when we would take a shower, the room would contain much of the steam and…. Well the other unfortunate part is the air condition only works if you set it on 60 and let it run the entire time. Those two paired together, made it muggy and humid in the room a bit. I would say bring a fan if you want to have some relief.

everything was decent, nice breakfast, tidy room. I do wish we would've been told that our room was next to the ice machine, the employee closet, and facing the rain tracks because that all caused a bit of noise. But other than that, the experience was perfect for what we needed.

I checked in around 11pm and the front desk lady was really nice, but upon entering the building it was a strong smell that was awful. After checking in we proceed to the room, that looks nothing like the online pics and it had the same smell. The tv was small, the shades in the room were paper thin, and there were no curtains at all. We were on vacation rising with the sun.

My husband go back and fourth to Dallas a lot for medical reasons we often use hotels.com to book these trips so we always use different hotels. This hotel charged our card twice, and the room smelled of urine.

Had a conference event at Hilton Anatole which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel but at least 1/2 the nightly rate. Just a 2-3 minute drop off distance by car. My wife enjoyed the properly—weight room, breakfasts, pool—while I attending the 1 day conference. It was short drive to uptown eating and the SMU campus is about 15-20 minutes away. Breakfast was very nice and complete with options. The extra strong coffee brewed as served with breakfast in the canister was better than the grinding machine coffee—which needs to be tuned to be strong since the user does not get any options except to pick decaf or regular. The breakfast brewed coffee meet the need. Would stay again but there isn’t placed to eat within walking distance so expect at least a short 10-15 drive to Uptown restaurants. Beware the trolley lanes as you get into Uptown. Overall a very pleasant stay.

The room was great, the water pressure in the shower wasn't the best, but that was understandable. Check-in went smoothly, although the first girl I interacted with didn't inform me that I had to check in my car's license plate, so there's that. The parking lot itself was safe. I had accidentally left the door to my rental car open, and nothing went missing. If I'm ever in Dallas again, I will book with them again.

WiFi is poor, after connecting to WiFi, can do nothing, so I have to go to the first floor for stable connection, I think it is a serious problem for people who will use laptops.

I booked 2 rooms & my kids drove from Tulsa; we drove from SPI Tx. At check in. I was assured my kids, would have a room as close to us as possible. Either next door, across the hall, or very close. My kids got there around 5:15 & the hotel was unable to accommodate my earlier request, and had no notes about it either, and they were put on a completely different floor. The rooms were fine, however the toilet sits extremely low to the floor, which for older people is extremely difficult. We got the kids settled in their room, i left my phone to charge, and we went to est. We got back from dinner around 8:00 p.m. and were immediately met with hostility from the hotel staff. They claimed that they had tried calling and texting several times and I explained that my phone was in the room charging. My kids brought their 15-year-old Papillon with them we were told she was barking the entire time which is very unlike her. They claim they have a video of The Barking dog. The kids immediately went upstairs and checked on their baby, and she was fine and not barking. However there was another dog on that same floor that was barking and a very large dog at that. My kids called to state it was not their dog, but another, and the hostile staff tokd them there were multiple (lies) complaints and attempted to kick them out. While i was able to smooth things, the experience left a BAD taste and we will never return. The staff was rude, and at checkout there werent even notes about this.

We had a great stay! The breakfast was excellent, and our room was very clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable, and we were extremely happy with our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

The first room we were in had a train outside that passed by every five minutes and was extremely noisy making it hard to relax. The second room that we were moved to had a divot in the floor, and the toilet didn't work properly. Additionally, all of the vending machines were out of order, and all food options are not within walking distance. Outside of the that, the staff was extremely friendly.

Room needs maintenance attention. Bathroom fixtures loose, or didn’t work well. Room door had large gap underneath which let in light and sound from hallway. Other room doors banged loudly.

Parking was easy, staff was wonderful.Breakfast was great and the whole place was clean.

I had traveled 20 hours from Rome. It was like a haven. Clean warn bed. Great shower. Robin is a delight.

clean room but i was overcharged $122 and had to argue to get my money 3 times with two different people. they made a mistake on their end and tried to blame it on me.

Our stay was quick coming in at night and heading out in the morning so we didn't get to use amenities or walk around the area. That being said, it was a hassle free check-in and check-out. It was nice and quiet and clean. The price was good for Dallas and the breakfast was bountiful. The breakfast servers kept everything filled up. All of the staff was very kind and welcoming. I would stay here again.

Finally!! This hotel has been recently remodeled and it looks great! If you are coming to Dallas for Market this is a great spot and a very competitive price.

I had stayed her a couple of years ago prior to the remodel and it was terrible. But now they have really turned this hotel around. It was clean, convenient, and the staff was very nice. I also liked the selection with the breakfast and the fact that there were 3 elevators. Will definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel with a unique layout. I liked that it was somewhat close to a DART stop, although it's not the most pleasant walk over. The Wi-Fi was horrific, maybe it was because of my room being at the end, but I couldn't even connect to it most of the time. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the spaces were clean. Probably would not stay again due to the wi-fi issue.

The employees at the front desk were awesome. THe hotel itself is very clean. I was just not impressed with the surroundings of the hotel nor the breakfast staff. I saw patrons drinking, hanging out and smoking w-d in the back parking lot. They even had a bbq pit under a tree. I did not hate it, but I won't be back. It was a very clean hotel though.

Although this location has been renovated, it wasn't the best. The bathroom was dirty...hair in the tub, stains on the toilet, etc. The shower/tub did not properly drain (gross). I would never stay here again. Tjank goodnees we were only in town for one night.

Overall was a good stay - had a couple of hiccups but the staff was on top of it and corrected the issues promptly and friendly.

My stay here was not good. The hotel is right next to a Dart public transportation train track. It is the public transportation train that runs from about 5am to 10pm. It is loud and runs about every 15 minutes. It will disrupt your stay. The parking lot is OK in front, but goes down hill the further you get away from the front of the hotel. I would not want to park in the back and leave my car. The air conditioning is hotel managed or defective. You can set it at 60 and your room will never get below around 75. It gains a little in the evening. This is not a good alternative to visit downtown. On a good note, the Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Not a typical Holiday Inn Express, most are great. In hindsight, I would have stayed at the Hyatt connected to the Reunion Tower. A couple hundred dollars would have made a huge difference. I use Hotel.com and their reviews to choose the hotels I stay at. My intent is to afford you the same courtesy. Keep looking!

The woman at the desk spoke quickly and was short with me when I asked about my charges. The fire alarm went off at 4 am and did not stop for quite some time, no one informed us as to evacuate or not, or even bothered to investigate the alarm. The halls were loud with people screaming and slamming doors at all hours of the night. I will never stay here again, it was unwelcoming and unorganized. The sheets were stained and our key cards quit working on several occasions. This was a terrible stay.

The beds were too soft we both woke up with a backache the next morning, and we had trouble sleeping because of the humming noise the air conditioner was making

Hotel and room were nice and clean, and Derek at the front desk was super helpful and friendly.

Over all we had a pleasant stay except since the third day, air quality in the room was with a slight unpleasant smell. Maybe the air ducts or filters needed to be cleaned or replaced.

The place was wonderful. The beds were clean and comfortable. You are literally 9 mins from downtown. The staff was great has to keep asking for towels but they were great. Breakfast could have been a lot better but still pretty good.

Nice property near DART stop so I could ride train to American Airlines Center for concerts. Bonus: very nice breakfast! Room was clean & comfortable. Appreciated the mini store in the lobby so I could eat after my late arrival. If I come back for other concerts will definitely stay here again.

Great stay, no coffee in room but available in the lobby. Had to request a hair dryer and it was low heat low speed. That wasnt the best. Otherwise stay was perfectly fine. Great breakfast, easy parking, great location. Pool was nice and clean. Would highly recommend.
