The location was quite good if you want to explore the city, and the hotel was a mix of fancy and well used. You could see the tear and wear both on the rooms, and the pool. We loved the pool and the way you got a good view over the city. The staff werw also friendly. We payed extra for breakfast through booking.com in advance and ran into issues the first day. We booked a three person room and assumed that ment we had booked breakfast for all three of us. According to the hotel that only ment for two people, so we ended up having to pay extra to get the last person in. We also ended up having to pay a mandatory gratitude on top of the breakfast bill pr person pr day. Because of this I will not recomend booking breakfast with the hotel through this website because it only causes a mess. I will say that the staff was trying to help us solve the issue, and that "booking.com" also ended up refunding us the breakfast bill for the last person. Still it was not an okey situation as it felt like there were hidden cost that we were not aware of before paying extra to have breakfast. Another weird thing was when our room was cleaned the first day they only left us two new towels, and didnt give us any more toilet paper.

Property clean & updated for an older downtown property. Don't let the exterior fool you. This is a nice hotel. Bad things were: 1] phone in room [#1406] DID NOT work 2] old water bottle found stuffed behind the wall chair along with a trash can that had no liner bag & was hidden 3] there is NO A/C per se, just high/low fan. The 'a/c' RATTLED ALL NIGHT LONG where I had to finally turn the damn thing off so I could get some sleep! 4] parking just increased to $24, but I was charged $28! OUTRAGEOUS to pay that for ONE NIGHT! SMH. Even w/all the above, the hotel is very nice over all. Just do better on the above. Thanks

Everything was great, cozy room, we got one with a balcony and the city view was nice. The breakfast was really good too. The only issue we had was when we came to check into the hotel at about 3:50 pm (check-in is at 3pm) our room was not ready so we couldn’t check in and had to wait another 45 minutes to be able to so. The woman at the desk was doing everything she could to get it done as soon as possible but there was no compensation for our wait and the manager sitting in the lobby didn’t seem to care even as we overheard another employee speaking to them about better delegating which rooms get cleaned first. We also noticed we weren’t the only ones having to wait. So it definitely wasn’t the best first impression.

I didn’t stay the night because the pool was closed and booking.com did not have any warning about it The pool is under construction
- 3.5/5
The room was quiet, no street noise. Parking in the parking lot in the same building as the hotel was convenient. There were a lot of homeless people or people just sitting/sleeping on the streets in the surrounding areas. We had booked and paid for a room for three. At breakfast it turned out that we still had to buy breakfast for the third person. The price of $18.50 seemed unreasonable for bread and a mediocre omelet.

Charging my card twice was an inconvenience. But it was straightened out.

I woke up at 7:00 AM to a dog barking nonstop. I tried to be patient and allow time for the situation to be handled, but after an hour of continuous barking, I contacted the front desk to report the issue, especially since this is a no-pets hotel. After waiting without resolution, I called again around 8:30 AM. At that point, staff finally came upstairs and addressed the situation

The property was continently located downtown near many attractions which were walkable. The property itself was showing a need for cleaning, maintenance, and updating. The stay was an adequate value but the expectation of quality should be restrained.

location was nice was expecting a lot better due to the name and my experince with crown plaza in other part of the world like dubai etc, but found the building and facilities were too old. The check in is horrible here at this hotel. They are always u restarted and don’t have the csr skills to help navigate the wait. They allow long lines to form and not even comp anyone anything. I waited in the lobby over an hour to check in due to a discrepancy they had and they allowed me and others to wait to the side forever and not do anything to rectify the situation. Very unprofessional and quite ghetto in fact. No help whatsoever! Just done with this hotel all together!
- 3/5
The Hotel was very noisy, both outside and in (especially on Friday and the weekend. Balcony is a little scruffy. Room is clean and comfortable. Pool looked, okay, no oasis, but, it is a pool!. Didn’t try anything else. Reception staff friendly & helpful.

I loved the view, it was nice ! Parking was horrible to tight of a squeeze for bigger vehicles, also our check in time was supposed to be at 3 and we couldn’t even get to our room till about 5:45 due to the “ system “ being down which made us late to a reservation.

Lunch wasn’t open or available as stated. The elevators broke and everyone in the hotel was stuck on every floor. Then they only got 2 elevators working and it took over an hour to get down. The “fire” stairs don’t even go down to the lobby. Not to mention the parking garage that they make you pay for, gets blocked off by the club next door and you can’t even get in to park. No offer for compensation or discount or anything. Hotel looks cool in the lobby but everything else is completely outdated and broken or doesn’t open as says.

The Hotel Manager, Avery, was the only staff member who showed professionalism and genuinely cared about guests. Unfortunately, the rest of the team came across as unhelpful and disengaged, making it feel as though guests were an inconvenience rather than a priority. This complaint is based on a verified stay in May 2026. I was celebrating my wife’s birthday, which I had clearly mentioned during booking. Despite three emails and a phone call requesting early check-in on a weekday, we were not accommodated and received our keys exactly at 3 PM after waiting for hours, with no explanation. The property was also misleading about amenities. The pool was advertised as open from March to October and was one of the main reasons we booked, but it was closed during our stay. The room was far below standard—more like a motel than a hotel. There were cobwebs under the counter, the refrigerator was awkwardly placed near the TV, and the balcony was filthy with dirty furniture, making it unusable. The AC did not work at all. Maintenance said there was no freon and it would take a full day to cool. We stayed both nights without proper air conditioning and had to purchase a small fan ourselves. Customer service was extremely unprofessional especially that african american man at FD. He talk like we owe him something, he don't want to help just sitting on his chair and giving his rude customer service. Front desk staff member was dismissive, rude, interrupted me, and even hung up before I could finish explaining. The room phone didn’t work, forcing repeated calls from my cell. When I called again he said he don't know when maintenance will come. Maybe 1 hour or 6 hours with no urgency. When I requested a room change, I was told to bring all luggage down before confirming availability—after we had unpacked. The lack of courtesy made an already bad situation worse. There was no customer service at all. Breakfast was also misleading—very basic with no variety. Staff asked us three times to verify if breakfast was included, which was embarrassing. Due to poor service we skipped it the next day. Overall, this experience was disappointing and insensitive. It ruined a very special occasion and broke our trust in the brand.

Location I would like to express my disappointment with my check-in experience. When I arrived, two of the rooms assigned to me were not ready — they were messy and had not been cleaned. Only the third room was actually ready for use. Because of this situation, I lost about 45 minutes waiting for a clean and properly prepared room. After a long trip, this was extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

We paid extra for a city view room, only to be told upon arrival they had sold out of them. We were assured the difference in cost for a standard room would be discounted from our final bill, so we accepted the inconvenience in good faith. At check-in, there was also a nightclub inside the building playing loud, inappropriate music that didn’t suit the relaxing hotel atmosphere you want. We were told it was “not owned by the hotel” despite clearly affecting hotel guests. At checkout, we were then told because we booked through a third party, the promised discount would not be honored. Staff offered to comp parking, except parking had already been prepaid, making the gesture meaningless. They then suggested maybe breakfast could be compensated, despite that also already being paid for. On our way out, we passed a dead roach in the stairwell, which only added to concerns about upkeep. Then, after prepaying for parking, we were stopped and told we had to pay again to leave the garage until someone was finally called to resolve it. Mistakes happen. What stood out most was the lack of courtesy, accountability, and follow-through. For a trip meant to celebrate Mother’s Day, this experience was frustrating and deeply disappointing.

The room was okay at first but had a Smokey smell. The toilet over flowed and feces came up out of the toilet. This happened twice. When the front desk was called to report the issue the woman on the other end was very rude and acted like it wasn’t her problem. The second call she put me on hold so she thought and started to talk disrespectful about the situation and her being tired of us calling. When maintenance arrived he only plunged the toilet and tried to refuse to clean up the bathroom and take the soiled towels. At 2am we asked to be moved and were told no. Waited and called back again and finally the manager came up to give us new room keys and a different room. This room wasn’t any better but we made it through.

The hotel is not in a good area. Lots of homeless in area. We checked in, dropped off our luggage in the room and the room had an unpleasant smell. We turned on the air conditioning and set it at 68 degrees hoping the smell would dissipate. We went to eat and then went to the Stars game. About six hours later we returned to our room and it still smelled. The air conditioner was not working and the room was warm and muggy. Would not recommend this hotel.

Someone was stuck in one of the 4 elevators. The ac was not working in the room they repaired it but the room never cooled down. It was a terrible experience.
- 0.5/5
The most of the staff was friendly. The room presented online was relatively smaller than the one in the picture plus the bed was broken. There were rodents. The elevators were moving super slow to the point, I start choosing to walk down from the 10th floor then wait for the elevator and I still will beat the elevator. Also, the elevator got stuck with my children in it. There were some hiccups in the communication.
- 5/5
was a good stay! only things where inconvenient , was that when we booked the hotel online we still needed a $75 security deposit on top of the room charge after we had already got there. and when you park , you don’t pay until after you leave , nor does the staff inform you of paid parking. otherwise a good view and stay
- 3/5
Decent facilities. The building clearly needs some work. The TV service only offers "live TV," so there was nothing to watch but commercials. The option to connect my device to watch movies or Netflix said "Sorry, this option is not working at the moment." The room is very small. Overall, it's fine for just spending the night.

I checked in, got my keys, they worked for the elevator but not the room... I use the courtesy phone and the lady said she will send up maintenance... I wait 25 minutes no one comes... I call back and this time the lady says the keys need to be recoded... I tell her no lights are coming on at all so the battery is probably out... She says nope come back down... When I get there there's 10 people in front of me so I wait... I finally get the new keys, go to the room and they still don't work... I call back and this time she says hey I have another room available now would you like that??? I says yes and finally after one hour I can finally relax... I open the window to let in some light and the window is being held together with packing tape!!! Later I calll the front desk to ask about parking for my son that I net in Dallas... She tells ne it's 20 per day for here or holiday inn across the street, BUT there is houly parking... I ask how much is that and she says she doesn't know because she doesn't park here!!!!! Next, I get back and want to put some food in the microwave... Only problem there ISN'T ONE!!!!! But breakfast buffet is 20 bucks... They want to rip you off however they can!!! THIS IS THE FREAKING WORST IHG HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN!!! ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC!!!! AND WITH ALL THE PROBLEMS AND NO ONE OFFERED ME ANY POINTS FOr MY TROUBLES!!!!

I am a member of IHG, but I never had a terrible experience like this one such as : 1. The coffee machine was not working and I informed both the reception and teh cleaning staff about it. Nothing happened. Moreover, on the 3rd day in the morning, I took the machine down at the reception , with the the kind request to replace it with a working one. In the evening coming back, I asked for it and I was given an working one as receptionist told me. It proven that it was not working as well and I suppose that was the same I left in the morning. 2. During my stay the towels we changed one time in 6 days. 3. The room was not vacuumed at all for 6 days. Basically this is it. For the rest the reception staff was very friendly and helpful.

Housekeeping didn’t replenish towels during our stay. Visitors should have a designated parking space when being a guest staying at the hotel.

Wanted to check in early so I called a month in advance and was told to call back the day before the booking, I called the day before the booking and was put onto hold for 20 minutes and then somebody hanged on me twice in a row, decided to call IHG to figure out what is happening and the hotel hanged up on them, got to the hotel super early and saw people check in early then coming back to say the room was dirty and wasn’t cleaned, I also saw one of the receptionist put people calling on hold just to talk to his co workers and friends, the elevator is loud so if your room is next to the elevator good luck sleeping, last thing during near midnight they just let some random guy sleep on the couches in the lobby and food split all over the floor while staff did nothing

Ok. I like the balcony

The balcony view was nice

I specifically booked and paid for a room with a balcony, but when I checked in, the room I was given did not have one. I called the front desk to ask about the discrepancy and was placed on hold for about 20 minutes without ever speaking to anyone. Unfortunately, I had to leave for a concert, so I wasn’t able to follow up further at that time, and I never received any response from the hotel afterward. Aside from that situation, the hotel itself was very nice. The location was great, and everything else about the stay met my expectations. I just wish the issue with the room type had been handled more attentively. I would consider staying here again, but I hope they improve communication and ensure guests receive the room they actually book.

Lack of hospitality, not answering the phones, outdated rooms, non working plugins, broken and leaking a/c unit, roaches present on the property, large homeless population's outside of the hotel, hate of and prejudice slurs toward our party

WiFi was fine, view was nice, staff is friendly

The lobby and halls were clean and wonderfully decorated. The little store only had food no toiletries. Our room was a little dated (chipped mirror and shower tiles, missing ceiling tile) but had a great view, awesome closet, and we loved the shower. A nearly wonderful hotel experience. We were both very happy with our stay.
- 5/5
Nice and clean hotel. I enjoyed the bar and restaurant they had down by the lobby. The location of the hotel is a little sketchy but nothing too alarming. I love that the building is downtown. All the restaurants and bars were within walking distance.

Booked room with 2 FREE breakfasts- BUT was refused that and was charged!! i booked WITH BREAKFAST! Also- had no TV service -went to front desk where I was assured someone would be right up to fix. After 1 HOUR...Went back down - all I needed batteries!

We got to our room and the heater was on 80. It was 84 outside. Changed setting to cool and went to game. Bed was nice and room was clean. It was leaving that made the trip awful! There was a long line to leave and a grey man in booth. We couldn’t figure out was going on. When it was our turn the ticket would not scan. My daughter was able to get security on the line and she tired to explain to security that she did move ticket around and someone had already tried to help her. Then lady got darn right rude and and told my daughter you need to backup and go to lobby. Meanwhile im on phone to get lobby. Lady was trying to give me number, but i explained the line kept breaking up and she copped attitude so i hung up. I wont even grace you with her words. I then went to every car to ask them to back up so we could move car. Two moved, but not truck behind us. He tried his ticket and it worked! Guess what ours is not want to switch? He moved his truck. We back up he paid was gone. I watch another car go then one got stuck. My daughter came back so upset because lobby girl said there was nothing she could do use your ticket. I told daughter im calling 911 that we are being held hostage in the Crown Plaza hotel. She said wait jumped out to tell lady two cars ahead of us not to talk to security bcz lobby will not help. Gentleman came ip and she left. Next car paid and when it was turn the machine had a price told my daughter to stick card in so we can get out. 30 minutes to leave.

The property was great; the AC worked very slowly. Would definitely stay here again!!

Hotel was very well decorated for the price of the rooms. Room was very clean. One issue with a/c not working but management was quick to move me to another room. Seemed other guests had same issues in other rooms. Both rooms had great views of downtown Dallas. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Large variety of foods and drinks available. Despite being next to Dart rail the hotel and rooms were very quiet. A definite choice for my next visit.

There was a as nasty stain on the bath mat they gave us. Additionally, there was a bag of trash left on our balcony. We were 14 floors up. No idea how it could’ve gotten there… Lastly, when we were having a drink at the hotel bar, a couple of escorts showed up to meet their client who was staying at the hotel.

The hotel is very old. We had a room near the elevator and we heard it all night long. It sounded like we were next to a railroad. I went the bathroom in the middle of the night and a roach greeted me. They did move us to a better room but the toilet ran and the shower had zero pressure. Terri at the front desk wasn’t very hospitable at all. I will definitely be coming back to Dallas but I won’t stay there for sure.

The room itself was average, my biggest gripe was how long it took for hot water to run (15 minutes) and the tub wouldn’t drain fast enough so water was at my ankles in the shower. Other than that it was fine.

The room, hallway, and staff were all terrible. As we were checking in, the staff was talking about going to the liquor store while checking us in. We got off the elevator and there were crumbs, dust, dirt, and believe it or not, screws, in the hallways. We get to our room a the thermostat is set to 61 but it was 74 in the room. There was dust on the filter and on the vent. There was lint in the sink, glue dots in the wall and window, hair on the wall and bed, dust and dirt in the floor, the drain for the tub broke out and laying in the middle of the tub, stains in the toilet, smudges on the mirrors. I have never felt more disgusted in my life. When trying to go to the front desk, the elevator button to go down wouldn’t work. So we had to hit the up button and ride it up. We did so with an employee who was on the elevator already. We stopped on a different floor than ours. That floor also had dirt and crumbs everywhere. The employee stopped and looked at it and I said it’s like that on every floor. He just said wow really, and kept walking away. I will never, ever stay at another Crowne Plaza. Especially in Dallas. By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. And apparently I can’t even get a full refund… hotels.com has been unable to make contact with the Crowne Plaza to discuss it with them.

Terrible they regretted to inform us the A/C went out in entire hotel and the rooms temps were 80 degrees finally moved to a room where my wife and I could open a balcony door just to get some cool air. Requested a refund in full. If I hadn’t drove all night and day I would’ve packed up
- 3/5
Everything just felt mediocre, slow elevators, yellow water in the tub the would not stop dripping, parking is horrible for larger trucks.
- 2/5
The staff was very courteous and polite they were actually wonderful. I found the chagres to be excessive. I was also told expedia canceled my reservation so I had to pay the hotel directly. I was also surprised that my room was so small and that was not the worse part, for a premium room, my room was It very small and the toilet leaked ridiculously from the back. I found the room to be very small and my breakfast was not included as advertised. I actually checked out a day early.
- 2/5
Half the lights in the bedroom didn't work, a/c didn't work. Elevators broke down twice, and they don't have stairs you can take. They only have stairs with fire alarms. Staff were rude. Continental breakfast and dinner were 35 dollars a plate. Also in a very poor part of town. Will never stay again.
- 2/5
Check in was terrible. Made you feel very un welcome and as they were bothered by me showing up to my reservation. The building itself is older so everything thing is extremely loud and echos

The room was okay. The window was super dirty on the inside and not really a good view. The ice machine was broken on the 16 floor but elevators take a long time so just drank my soda warm. But it got the job done of giving me somewhere to lay my head in a clean bed.
- 5/5

The AC in our room didn’t work, they tried twice to fix it and then just told us it was broke. They said they didn’t have a place to move us. They did offer a complimentary breakfast but we had already paid for that with our reservations. So we spent two nights in an 80 degree room with a fan. Made for a less than idea birthday get away.

This hotel is surprisingly clean, for being so old, and clearly beaten up. I’ve never actually seen toilets with chunks taken out of the seats. How does that even happen? Outside, don’t go out alone at night. Between the aggressive "unhomed population", vendors of the oldest profession, the alternative pharmaceutical sellers, and the persons that stalk you as lion and prey, it’s just not worth it. The staff were so welcoming. The room view had a view of the city(chef’s kiss) I almost over slept on my birthday because the bed feels like a Cloud! The ambiance of this hotel is by far one of the best I have seen! Don’t forget to try the Sriracha wings…my fav

First off my room was not available that I booked and got two double beds and had to go downstairs and let them know I didn’t like it . Second room was too hot and toilet ran all night and bathroom too small and the phone to call the front desk didn’t work . Third room with the corner view was not the corner view I chose when booking my hotel plus the room was very cold when they switched room and when I put the heat on at 10am and came back at 8:30pm it was still freezing cold and called downstairs to let the front desk know 30 minutes passed No one showed up , went down to the front desk vey upset and told them again and they said they would send a Engineer and 30 minutes went by again and I had to call the front desk again telling them I’m freezing up here and he said haven’t no one came and I said No and he said he would call him. 10 minutes later the Engineer arrived and said it was even freezing in here and he went inside the big vent and did something and the heat started working .

Elevators were not working all the time and if two of the four were they were so many people packed in like sardines. Coffee maker didn’t work. Asked FD for another one and was told they didn’t have access to them. The next morning I thought someone would be kind to bring one up or even have coffee sent to the room. Staff really didn’t care.

It was a bit of a smaller space but the stay was nice. We had the most trouble with the parking garage more than anything. Incredibly tight and had issues with our parking card, etc. The hotel was very accommodating with it all.
- 2/5
Overall, it was way overpriced for the room we got. The aesthetics of the hotel appears nice but then carefully looking around it is below average for the area and the price. First, the service was not welcoming or friendly or helpful at all. The front desk barely said a word upon our check-in. Then, room we got was clean and decent, no bed bugs, sheets appeared to be clean, the room smelled like humid carpet, there was a huge stain on the bathroom floor from I don't know what, the faucet of the bathroom sink was popping off, there was no hot water coming from the sink, the carpet looked old and dingy, and the wall paper of the bathroom was peeling off. However, the bed was comfortable and the TV worked just fine.

Wasn’t satisfied with room at all the faucet ran the whole time had to keep bathroom door closed so it wasn’t so loud but couldn’t get no sleep my entire stay. Room service never came when you called so room was never cleaned and linen never replaced. Horrible experience will never stay again.

The room smelled awful, the staff was very rude. I paid for parking but was still charged for parking everytime I tried to leave. Housekeeping never brought us fresh towels or linen the whole 4 days we were there. 0 stars in the past I’ve always loved crown plaza but the last 2 visits were just terrible I definitely will be looking for something new next time we visit Dallas

Reserved a king balcony with city view. Got there and was given keys to a room that did not work on 14th floor with occupants in the room. Call downstairs, have to go down to get new room, got 16th floor with queen beds which do not work for my extremely tall husband, Called desk, was told to come back for a 3rd room! Finally got a room but no balcony. Thermostat was automatic so no way to se to air and it was warm in the room. Turned it down and it got cooler but by 9 am, the room was heating up. By the time we checked out it was 80 in the room while we were trying to get dressed sweating. Had to ask for ironing board, tv would not cast phone as it said it would and telephone didn’t work so had to use personal phone to call for ironing board. Not a very good experience at all! Used checkout option on tv and a random email address came up where my receipt was sent to. Very disappointed overall and won’t stay here or recommend to anyone else!

Front staff was friendly, however the hotel in general is not very clean. Carpet wasn’t vacuumed well, servant very dusty and the general condition of the hotel is not great.
- 4/5
Staff was very accommodating
- 5/5
Nice staff, great amenities, easy parking and access to hotel.
- 5/5
Good staff and nice stay will be staying here again definitely
- 3/5
The pictures on their website are very deceiving. Its an old place that they try to spruce up wirh new lights and furniture. The elevators are awful. But the staff were amazing. The bed was comfortable. But the building needs a complete gut and remodel. I won't stay there again. But it was walking distance to many attractions.
- 4/5
Front desk clerk was great, got an early check in and went straight to the room. The heat was the only thing to come out of the vent if on at all. With the system off and the sliding glass door open it finally dropped to 74 °F overnight.
- 3/5
It’s downtown.. but can’t beat the price!!
- 1/5
You have to pay for parking in a public ramp. We did not feel safe when pulling up to the hotel. Near the train station and many homeless people near building. This property was not advertised well.
- 4/5
It is very walkable to the house of blues. The room advertises a minifridge, but there was not one. Overall good. Would stay again for a concert. The beds were comfortable and good pillows.
- 4/5
The elevators were so slow and there was no stair alternative. Only one guy was checking people in and we had to wait a long time. The temperature wouldn’t change in the room, but the bed was comfy. The location was perfect for the BMW Dallas marathon, but I wish the hotel had been a little better prepared.
- 4/5
It was good
- 5/5
The hotel was great. It shows a bit of wear and tear in places but the staff and the food service is great. The location borders some sketchy areas but once you familiarize yourself with the surroundings you will find it really convenient with great restaurants and historical sites within walking distance.
- 5/5
The balcony had a great view, and the staff was super friendly and very helpful made our anniversary a night to remember.
- 1/5
The elevator was down for all my stay. Each trip down the elevator took 30mins plus.
- 2/5
The elevators were awful! We were stuck on them for over 20 minutes trying to go down and couldnt find stairs to take. Valet had no idea what he was doing and we were there waiting forever while he figured out what to do. Room was old and outdated.
- 3/5
The A/C was not working properly we had to call maintenance to change it and we were not able to adjust it. The only good thing about its the breakfast they have many choices definitely not a continental breakfast, staff was very attentive.
- 3/5

We had a running toilet the entirety of our stay. Requested support from front office numerous time and no respond. Hotel cleanliness was horrible elevator, and the hotel hallways smelled and only had one meal at the restaurant after a cockroach was stepped on by one of the waiters and just left there seemed like that wasn't a 1st incident. We had to check out a night early conditions and experience was Horrible.

- 5/5
Ughhh it was great lovely stay perfect room
- 2/5
The staff was okay at best. Some better than others. Employees were arguing in front of guests, other employees were correcting eachother in front of guests. It was an interesting experience. There are 20 something floors, and only 2 elevators working. We missed multiple uber rides because we had to wait 15+ minutes for the elevator. At one point, we took the stairs, and they wreaked of pee, had food on the ground, etc. it was gross. I would definitely not stay here again.
- 1/5
The room 1936 suite that I was in the toilet was not working properly and I reported the issue in the evening and no one came until the next day at around 11 am n then the maintenance guy said that it was an old toilet and it was running slow but a new one had to be installed but not until the room was empty. Very inconvenient for me. Also I had an issue with at the bar I was told at first I could take the drink to my room if I poured it in a cup the last time I visited but when I ordered the drink this time around I was told I couldn’t take up to my room at all it was mixed communication as I was not pleased. The server was very rude to me .
- 3/5
it was fixed promptly though but it is a hassle to go through.
- 4/5
The majority of the staff were phenomenal. The cleanliness of the rooms and hallways could use a little bit more attention. The food was delicious for the lunch and dinner options. Oddly, breakfast wasn’t included with what I was paying for and at $18+ per person, my family and I never ate the breakfast. Mr. Bartender at the Thrive bar was on point! The drinks were a 10/10.

Clean room. Friendly staff. The bed was everything! Most comfortable hotel bed we've ever experienced!

Clean rooms, great breakfast, helpful staff

This hotel is more like a motel. Terrible customer service. Terrible evening front desk staff. Asked for wake up call never received one. Rooms are ok not the best not the worst. Plumbing in sink and shower is terrible water constantly backed up. Entire hallway stunk of weed. Not a family friendly hotel. No room service. Parking garage is poorly engineered. Nightmare of a hotel thank god we only needed to stay for one night. I will never stay at this location again I strongly advise everyone else to stay away from this property.

Breakfast was not included. Never received a receipt.

We check in and headed to our room which was extremly hot we call service and waited for an hour and they didn’t not show up We left in hope the room just needed time to cool off. After 2 hrs we came to a hotter room we call service and they did not show up my husband went to the lobby and we find the front desk lady smoking weed in the lobby with some we think are under age kids and customers complaining about the loud noice from the ballroom that was more like a night club my husband complain about the room and she said the guy was on round, he told her what about the smoking and she said went quiet, on the elevator guest were smoking as well. We end up getting our room fixed at around 1am. This would have been a great stay but just because the environment vibes it will be a big no for us. I will not recommend staying here with family. Bed was comfortable that’s the only positive I have to say
- 2/5
The bathroom was not fully cleaned. The sink didn't work properly. You had to hold down the toilet handle for it to flush properly. We were on the 15th floor, but the sliding door was broken. The little handle they had didn't properly work. The pool was filthy. It looked like it hadn't been clen in a while. Hallway smelled musty. The staff that checked was nice. My truck was scratched up while parking in the parking garage. Now the glass on my sunroof is scratched up. I'm not happy with the surrounding area. Didn't feel safe. A lot of homeless people are around. There were a lot of police out that didn't make me feel any better. That meant a very high crime rate. The elevator was slow and didn't seem to work properly. We were very nervous every time we had to get on and off it. Will not stay again or would I recommend it to anyone else. I give it a 2 star because of the balcony and the staff seem pleasant.

Hotel was very outdated/cheap looking. The hallway smelled like cigarettes, my AC read 64 but it felt like 70. The bed was pretty comfortable though.
- 3/5
The first room we received was not clean and very obviously just vacated, however we were given another room on a lower floor
- 2/5
•upon check in was told we would receive our IHG points by Erick (on checkout was told no because a 3rd party booking was used) fine. •Room was 78°off and on the first night ( we didn't sleep very well) finally got the unit to work for 2nd day. for the cost you would think they would have the air cool and refrigerator cold. •railtrain blowing the horn all night into early morning ( you could hear everything...) • Room smelled of stale cigar, cloth chair & ottoman in room had questionable stains (just nasty) •shower floor very slick • ice machine on our floor never worked we had to go up a floor for ice •Hallways and elevators smelled like weed. •18 to enter club on first floor. We were told not worth going to, its all kids (coming back from dinner seeing very young people running out of lobby jumping into cars because of a fight in said CLUB and security pepper spraying them.(what we were told) •Elevators were down off and on and only 1 was working to rooms and parking. • bartender made great drinks (forgot his name) :) •Kim ( front desk) seemed understanding with a couple compliants that we mentioned to her (compt our breakfast last morning there)Good breakfast and service.Thank you Kim💛 •$719 for 2 VERY SMALL outdated rooms •$150 returnable deposit after 7-10 days •$20 parking fee daily (valet is $40 daily) *Our clothes and luggage smelled like* stale cigar when we returned home NOT WORTH THE $$$

- 3/5
The elevator was slow and made some scary noise, the parking garage machine didn’t work. The bathroom were small. A/c wasn’t cold enough in the room that I had. However great location, due to the fact it’s downtown .
- 1/5
The pictures that were shown were not what it actually looked like when we arrived. Our AC in the room was messed up took them an hour to charge us rooms that room was hot as well. Thought breakfast was included was not. There was a deposit that was not mentioned when I reserved my room. I could go on and on
- 5/5
Clean room
- 2/5
I left before having breakfast. I had wanted to get home asap because I had plans with friends later in the day. The room was clean. The tv was easy to connect my phone to. The staff was nice and polite. The main problem was my room being on floor 15 and only having 1 working elevator out of 4 on a busy night where an event was being held for some sort of party that definitely included alcohol. I had to deal with multiple drunk people. One girl spent a very long ride up the elevator pushed up against me. I work at a bar so it’s not the biggest issue. I had to walk down 15 flights of stairs just to reach the lobby to get to my Uber for the event I was in Dallas for. Someone had propped the door open, probably one of the staff, so that anyone could go down but the doors were all shut and locked when I came back from the event. Had to wait 15 minutes in the lobby just to get back into my room because of there being only 1 elevator.
- 5/5
The staff was nice and helpful. The room was nice and clean and beds were so comfy. I will definitely stay again and this was my second stay here.
- 2/5
Elevator didn’t work, room was moderately dirty
- 5/5
The quiet and calm nature of the hotel was very inviting
- 3/5
Only two elevators worked for the entire weekend the pass for the parking garage didn’t work and it was only one ice machine that worked the entire weekend
- 4/5
Only issue with the stay was the broken elevators.
- 3/5
The hotel itself was very clean and the hotel staff was accommodating. My issue was the elevator. There was only 2 working elevators for a full hotel. Each time I waited at least 15 mins for an elevator. The longest I waited was 25-30 mins.
- 1/5
Elevator was not working properly. Waited 30min for an elevator to come. Worst experience I have ever experienced. Waiting on an elevator made me late for an important meeting. Not satisfied
- 5/5
loved the view
- 1/5
I did not get a balcony view, they told me I booked a different room and continued to lie to me.
- 5/5
The room was nicely decorated, bed was comfortable and bedding and pillows were great. Shower pressure wasn’t very strong but it got the job done.
- 2/5
Room and look lobby were beautiful, huge negative for us is elevators suck really bad we had to wait forever. Parking garage toll booth weren’t working so it took us like 10 minutes to leave
- 5/5
Didn’t have a balcony
- 4/5
In general, the hotel service was excellent.
- 2/5
The elevators served 7 floors parking as well as 11 eleven floors of rooms so quite often you could be waiting a significant period of time to get to the floor you wanted. It was quite frustrating particularly during the morning rush and during check in times. The room needs significant redecoration and some modernisation particularly in the bathroom. Our sink was leaking and the carpet became quite wet which we reported. The restaurant area and reception had undergone modernisation and was a pleasant contrast to the rest of the hotel.
- 4/5
Comfortable room at a good price. Convenient to the DART transport to DFW. It was my second stay in a couple of years and I will stay again.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel. Great front desk staff. Definitely will be staying again.
- 5/5
Nice size room
- 5/5
Loved the balcony
- 3/5
Overall the hotel was a good stay, but elevators were broken. They also stopped at every single floor on the way down for no reason!! I would stay again but the elevators play a big part if I would actually stay again. Waiting 20+ minutes for that 1 working elevator to be empty or even have space was crazy
- 3/5
Elevators took forever
- 4/5
Great hotel outside of the uneasy parking situation of downtown Dallas.
- 3/5
Our first room had a bad odor, was hot and the air conditioner did not cool it off. It also had a water leak in the bathroom. Room 1506. The friendly desk clerk moved us to a different room that was pleasant.
- 5/5
Balcony View was very nice and calming - Breakfast was good and fresh. Staff was excellent
- 2/5
My stay at Crown Plaza Dallas Downtown was, unfortunately, a disappointing experience due to several issues that significantly impacted my visit. The front desk service was notably poor. The staff seemed disorganized and unhelpful, making check-in a frustrating process. Their lack of professionalism set a negative tone from the start. Additionally, the bar closed much earlier than advertised, which was inconvenient for those looking to unwind in the evening. Similarly, the pool closed earlier than expected, limiting access to a key amenity. To make matters worse, the pool was dirty, with visible debris that made it unappealing and unhygienic. I had booked a balcony room, but it was canceled prior to check-in without any clear explanation or adequate resolution offered, which was a major letdown. To top it off, the water pressure in the shower was extremely low, making for an uncomfortable and inconvenient experience. Overall, the combination of poor service, limited amenities, and maintenance issues made this stay far below expectations. I would not recommend Crown Plaza Dallas Downtown unless significant improvements are made. Rating: 1/5
- 1/5
This hotel is terrible, when we got there we went to the elevator and the elevator sounded like it was going to break any second. When we got settled we went to check out the pool at night at 10:15 pm, but the doors were locked we tried our card, but it still didn’t work so we called the front desk and we told them that the doors were locked and the receptionist told us that he will send somebody up to open the door. Ten minutes later nobody was there to open the doors so we called again and the guy said that the pool is closed, but the worst part was that the sign said that it was open from 8 am to 11:00 pm. Next day we went to check out the pool again. We were there at 9:30am and pool still closed. I called receptionist again and she said due to maintenance they are not ready to open. I said they should change their pool hr of operation and she hung up on me. The girl restroom by the pool is broken, toilet completely til over and no sink water. I don’t know why they don’t lock up that restroom or put a sign. The bathtub doesn’t drain. The restroom is so small. You open the restroom door it hit the toilet. Terrible place.
- 3/5
Hotel looked to be unprepared for the amount of people staying the weekend of October 10th. It was OU/TX weekend. There were several busses (6-8) of college kids staying at the hotel. Only 2 of the 4 elevators were working the entire weekend. I would not recommend this hotel for the OU/TX game.
- 1/5
When I went down to the front desk to get some help, no one was there. I waited around and eventually someone came by and was very confused that their co-worker could have made such a mistake and they even had trouble finding my reservation because they kept trying to look it up by room number, which was of course incorrect in their system. When I let them know to check by the other room number, they finally found it and reprogrammed my second key correctly. Downtown Dallas is pretty rough overall, so I can't blame this hotel too much for being in that neighborhood, but the hotel is definitely run down and although it was cheaper, it still wasn't worth the price. The air conditioner was very noisy and the bathtub drain clogged. I don't think I'll stay again unfortunately.
- 4/5
Every thing was fine. Except they were having issues with the parking garage gate and the AC unit made a loud rattling noise the whole time
- 2/5
Bathroom was not clean, hair all over the shower,no toilet paper. Second night we came back to trash and dirty towels left outside our room. Phone didn't work and never was fixed despite notification to front desk. Balcony door didn’t close properly or lock, very unsafe for children. Constant elevator problems and difficulties getting bags in and out of the parking area.
- 4/5
Nice and clean
- 5/5
Pleasant staff and clean rooms! Great visit.
- 4/5
Room clean but floor near AC had carpet soaked.
- 5/5
Excelent
- 1/5
Elevator's were very slow. Morning staff at breakfast were more busy with other things than the customers. Outside the hotel were individuals smoking weed around the hotel. Felt very unsafe. Staff was very unhelpful.
- 1/5
My experience was horrible, the valet staffs phone seemed to be more important than helping assist with parking. After checking in i waited 15min just to get to my room which had a bad drainage problem in the shower. I was moved to another room that smelled and was also not the cleanest. I had to wait a minimum of 15- 20 min every time for the elevator. There were 4 elevators and only 2 of them worked. Multiple groups of people had to pile into each elevator just to have a chance at making it to where they needed to go. I was late to my dinner reservations due to the elevator not working properly. The only reason i could not cancel the 1 night stay at this hotel was because i didn’t have time to go and find another before my night plans were starting.
- 3/5
The staff was very courteous and informative. The parking garage sucks, I understand it was built decades ago but its tight fit, there's no one at the gate. Our card did not work at all we had to call the help desk evertime we wanted to leave. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, however did not want to use the shower because I did not bring shower shoes, see pics. It s dirty with stains. I went to check out our view and saw a big crack in our window. This is what where doing, putting tape on it. That too me seems like an immediate fix, esp for safety reasons. I've been to other Crowne Plazas before but this one I can promise I won't be returning.
- 2/5
Elevators are terrible and the place needs better updates
- 1/5
The room was clean; however, the elevators were substandard, requiring an approximate wait of 30 minutes to one hour to ascend or descend. Additionally, the cleaning staff were discourteous when guests used the service elevator. Moreover, the elevators stop at every floor, and only two elevators are operational.
- 4/5
Air condition of the room is front upper of the door dropping the water to the carpet make wet on the carpet of entrance.
- 4/5
Great staff great hotel
- 3/5
The hallways were so dirty , not vacuumed , water leaking ice machine & they just left wet towels in the area , elevator floor was sticky from a spilled drink
- 2/5
The staff was not very friendly at all they were very rude and bad customer service skills.
- 1/5
Faulty TV: The television in the room was not functioning correctly. The image quality was poor, and the majority of the channels did not work. Lack of Amenities: The shower gel dispenser in the bathroom was empty, which is an essential amenity that was not provided. Unclean Pool Area: The pool area was dated and poorly maintained. The water quality was questionable, and the overall state of the pool did not match the photographs advertised on the website. Broken Elevators: The elevators were malfunctioning, stopping at every floor regardless of the button pressed, which caused significant inconvenience. Security Concerns: It was not advertised that the hotel is attached to a multi-story car park, which meant that non-guests could easily access the hotel. This raised significant security concerns during my stay. Unprofessional Staff: The staff members I interacted with were rude and unapproachable. Despite the hotel not being particularly busy, their service was dismissive, and they made no effort to address my concerns or ensure my comfort.
- 3/5
While the location was great and room ok, the bar was 'cold', in every sense of the word. There will be no return visit!
- 5/5
Friendly staff, and clean room.
- 5/5
Lots of food options. Plenty of shops
- 4/5
Room service wasn’t provided daily
- 5/5
Lovely property, lovely amenities. The poolside view is stunning. Had great stay there.
- 1/5
First, area is not safe. Many homeless in area day & night. not safe. Constantly begging & harrassing. 2. Air cond leaked. Refused change room. Found pubic hair on towel. Pix attached. 3rd, rooms and hallways smell musty/mouldy. 4. Housekeeping do not clean daily. hotels dot com say it does. Hotel refused. Room cleaned 1ce only during an 8 night stay. 5. Theworst encounter I’ve ever experienced was the violation by security on the last day. In the morning, I spoke with Teri at reception & arranged a late checkout. I did not care about cost but wanted a 7pm checkout. She offered a 50% roommate which we confirmed to be $42 usd. No problem. At 5.03pm, security attempted to barge into my room banging on the door. I was dressed only in a towel as I was about to shower. He kept pushing the door despite the latch being on. I assumed there was an emergency of sorts and opened the door. An extremely large 6,8 man stood over me & ordered me out of the room saying he didn’t know I was in there. I explained the extension & he said that was only till 5pm & to hurry up & get out. I reiterated the 7pm agreement with Teri. They denied it & said it was 5pm. Told me to pack up & get out. I said I wanted to shower. No way. Get out. He called for back up. Put his foot in the door & told me to pack up & get out now. Literally spoke to me like that. It was horrific! Refused me privacy to get dressed properly. I felt so Violated! I want a full refund!
- 4/5
Air conditioning was noisy. They have my beloved Wall Street Journal in the lobby free of charge wonderful.
- 5/5
It is close to everything like the best brisket and beef ribs in town.
- 5/5
Everything was just lovely.
- 3/5
Room was clean, Staff was nice. Only thing is my air conditioning was not good. My room was hot the entire time I was there, other than that I would stay again.
- 2/5
Only 2 of 4 elevators worked on n a very busy hotel. Elevators would stop on every floor adding several minutes. General cleanliness of the hallways was sub-par. Understaffed generally. Ran out of fresh washcloths 3 days in a row.
- 1/5
had to switch rooms 2x due to tubs not draining properly. Very dirty room. A/C wouldnt work resulting in sleeping in 80+ degree rooms 2 nights in a row. Dont walk, run away from this hotel
- 3/5
Very noisy with lots of vagrant's , bum's and homeless people. Also the bus station/ train station is next door. You will not get any sleep here.
- 5/5
Friendly staff room was very clean
- 5/5
Great staff!
- 2/5
Paid for parking online, I had to pay again. Reserved a room with a balcony, did not get it, when I asked to change rooms I was refused. Was supposed to come with breakfast for two guests. It did not you have to pay. Elevator barley worked. One good thing is the room was clean.
- 4/5
The room was fine, hotel staff good.
- 3/5
The elevators are miserable because they are for a public parking garage and the hotel.
- 5/5
Came to Dallas for a real estate convention and this location was walkable. The room was as pictured, but the first floor had plenty of places to plug in and do work, which was an added benefit since I was traveling for business, but brought my wife and daughter with me. I’d stay here again.
- 5/5
Excellent stay, highly recommended
- 3/5
Only 2 outlets in the room were working, iron didn’t work and I asked for a different one and they never sent one up. Wasn’t the cleanest hotel. Good location if you’re wanting to be downtown or close to uptown.

The property is very dated but perfectly located. Close to AT&T area, lots of dining options, close to museum district. The room was below average. Very old and dated. Didnt fill our shampoo and soap despite being asked several times. The elevators took forever at checkin time, so be prepared to wait. On the good side, the staff are super friendly and great to deal with. There is security on site and i did not feel unsafe. Just because of the location and good price, would stay here again.
- 3/5
There was a $75 per day incidentals fee that was not mentioned at all. When I got there the A/C was broken.

Great stay
- 1/5
Room was hot. The AC was not working. The room smelled like it was a smoker and other items smoked in the room. It was not clean. old and run down.
- 3/5
There were people arguing and fighting in hall way. Very disturbing.
- 5/5
Nice room, clean, great views, ideal location. Parking was easy and affordable.
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean and staff was very courteous and helpful. It was a quick walk to the convention center and multiple dining options.
- 3/5
Staff was good I only spoke with Angel and he was polite and helpful. Pool and gym were clean. When I booked it said it had breakfast included turns out it didn’t 😒.
- 4/5
It's been 2 weeks and I still have not received my security deposit back.
- 4/5
The hotel is older, but very clean. Location was great for our conference at the Kay Bailey Convention Center. My only complaint is the clientele at the hotel is a little rough. Overall, I would stay here again.
- 1/5
ac never worked also gave us wrong room not what we paid for, so we got scammed and still with a a bad room with no ac
- 4/5
This is a great hotel with a great view. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel staff are friendly. The day front checkin staff are very friendly but the night guy was extremely rude. The hotel does need some work especially the elevator. 4 elevators and 1 working waiting around for 10min.
- 5/5
It was clean, quiet and the staff were kind and efficient. A great stay.
- 3/5
Asked for late check out at 830 am and were told we could check out complimentary at 1 pm. Housekeeping knocked nearly every 30 minutes all morning. I work nights and would’ve enjoyed sleeping.
- 3/5
The cleaning was good but there was so little of shampoo, conditioner, and gel in the shower it didn’t last on the second night .
- 1/5
Staff attitude is very rude including the manager except for Randy!
- 5/5
I spent a day in the city center because I was connected between two flights. Less than 30min from the airport, I had a good day and I did a bit of sightseeing
- 2/5
The property itself was old and dated. Limited service. Staff was fair but never answered the phone when calling reception and for several days never serviced my room.
- 5/5
In the heart of downtown, right next to a Dart stop. Room was clean and the pool deck area was nice maybe a little outdated. The free breakfast wasn't half bad either. would stay here again.
- 5/5
Randy, the check-in guy was fabulous very informative and very polite. You do have an issue in your bathrooms with the toilets and drain system in the tub like it don't wanna go down other than that. The room was fabulous.
- 3/5
Overall the hotel was ok. Staff was pleasant and helpful. However our a/c was not cooling very well. I notified tbe front desk and they sent someone to ck it but it did not help much. The elevators were terrible
- 4/5
Enjoyed our stay only thing we had to wait a while for our room to be ready when we got there which was past checkin time but friendly staff clean room a lot of people smoke around in the pool area so not really ideal for kids
- 4/5
Didn't refresh the amenities...aka coffee/ water
- 4/5
My room was really lovely and quite with a nice view however there was a giant crack in my window
- 4/5
After stating the obvious, let's focus on the other things Checking in was kind of seamless, but not very forthcoming on how to manage the garage ticket system when you have prepaid or th for breakfast. Having said that, the breakfast was wonderful and the servers omwere nice. No one checked to make sure there was plenty of shampoo and conditioner in the bottles, and we ran out after the 1st day. They were pretty quick to come to the room and bring more, but we asked for fresh towels but they were not left. The pool and lounge area is nice, but you can tell the pool is old and showing it's teeth. It was nice to swim in though. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean and nice water pressure, but who doesn't have a mini microwave on hotel rooms nowadays. Not big deal, but heating up left overs is nice. It's a great location though, and close to walking distance to a lot of things that are in the downtown area No fuss in checking out and I will say that communicating by Text is a nice touch!!! Overall a decent experience, but the elevators take away from what is nice about the place
- 4/5
Good stay!
- 2/5
We were checked in by an amazing staff, and were given no choice for late check out because they apparently shouldn’t have checked us in and made us leave by 12 pm.
- 5/5
It looks dangerous because of too many rough sleepers within the environment.
- 2/5
First there’s no microwaves in the rooms. The parking isn’t just for the hotel it’s public parking as well. House keeping came in and took our towels and didn’t replace them and took one bag of trash when requesting room service. The elevators needs to be situated I was going up and down for about 10 mins seeing the same people waiting for the elevator. I paid for breakfast and it wasn’t worth the $55 that I could’ve gotten at a Laquinta inn for free. Bed was comfortable and room is nice so is the staff but it’s a no go for another stay
- 5/5
Loved it just didnt like that the air conditioning didnt blow as cold in the room.
- 4/5
Nice area
- 2/5
When we arrived to our first room, it was unlocked and completely dirty. It was as if someone left it unlocked and continued to use it. Not sure what happened, but we had to ask for another room. Also, they charged my card 3x the original amount of the booking price online. When i asked them about it, they said there's a $75 deposit per night (which i understand), that will be refunded when I leave. I still havent received it back and I wish the employee was more informative about what he was charging me before he did it. The parking situation was a nightmare. The kiosk to get in/out of the garage was broken. So we got several tickets to pay for our parking. Once we upgraded to a one time payment card, that did not work either and continued to give us tickets. When we tried to leave or arrive, the kiosk would give us errors no matter what, so we would call for help and some times no one answered. There was also homeless folks outside the hotel which its downtown, so I understand this to a certain degree, but groups of them right by the parking area/entrance seemed like a lot for me. Overall, I appreciated the view and cleanliness of the room. The basics were taken care of, but many inconveniences and I wouldnt go there again.
- 5/5
not the most fancy but amazing for the price
- 1/5
The day I came in I got stuck in the parking garage for about 20 minutes 3 separate times because someone hit the gate ! The next day I was also stuck in the parking garage however after that they just left the gate open . The elevators are a nightmare especially during checkout they stop on every floor every last one. The room is nice . I stayed for 4 days and then went home when I returned they “ no longer take pay cards “ the same pay card I used for 4 days , presented to them 4 times without any notification they no longer accept !!!
- 3/5
Hotel was beautiful staff was very nice and the view was great! Only issue I had was the room was extremely hot we had to literally go but a fan no matter what temp you put it on it doesnt get over like 74. It honestly didnt get cold until about 10pm at night it was bad. Also be mindful of the $75 a night deposit and $30 for parking a night.
- 5/5
Room was clean. Bed and pillows were exceptional. Room has premium items but does need to be updated. Very good at the price point.
- 2/5
Had to wait 15 minutes to be checked in. Then told I didn’t purchase the breakfast which I did through Expedia. Hotel is old but the beds were actually comfortable. Only good part of the experience.
- 1/5
Found a bed bug crawling on sons pillow18 dollar breakfast was not good.
- 1/5
When I visited this hotel the lobby was also constantly filled with people at all times making it very noises. When it comes time to use the elevator you will be waiting for 10 minutes as only 2 of the elevators work and there is constantly people going up and down. When the door finally gets to you there will be 10 people already in it . I just think all the elevators should be in working order in a place this packed .
- 3/5
The property itself was not bad. It was dirty all round the property. But again that was outside. Now i side the cuatomer service wa terrible
- 1/5
It was hot. Place looked run down. Elevators took too long. Don’t look like the pictures online
- 4/5
Okay place. It’s old, are bathtub drain held water. Pool was gross! Beds were okay.
- 2/5
Room was noisy and hot. Balcony door wouldn’t shut all the way. Staff was uninformative. Vallet parking sucked. Waited over 30 minutes for our vehicle. Neighborhood felt safe.
- 3/5
Parking garage gate wasn’t working
- 4/5
Check in was intense but only on my side. I lost my credit card and only had cash. ( hotel is a cashless system). The staff was completely concerned and understandable with my situation. They should be recognized for a job well done!
- 5/5
Very long wait at check in but overs all stay was great. Great location
- 3/5
Ok so the price for the place was great for the 2 separate nights I stayed but both times the bath tub was dirty. Like not at all cleaned. There was a clear ring around the tub. Other things as far as mold on the first rooms toilet, paint chipped tub that was dirty

Good location, walkable distance for entertainment we were there to see. Drink vending machine on our floor had a sign for cash only but slot was sealed shut, needed to use CC. Also no ice in the ice machine. Hard to shower, low water pressure. Location suited our needs but hotel felt a little lacking. Staff was courteous.

Let’s start this off with saying that parking is a nightmare and it’s insane that we paid so much money for this hotel only to be charged additional for parking. The elevator ride down the lobby and up to our room was something straight out of final destination. We arrived 30 minutes before check in and was told that the room wasn’t ready which is okay! So we waited only to be put in a room that had a bathroom under renovation. Thankfully Dorris from housekeeping was there to save the day! She was the only helpful employee and the only person to ever smile at us during our stay. We got our rooms switched with her help. We start to settle into our new room only to find that we can’t cast to our tv like we could in the previous room. We called front desk for help and no one answered. We walked back down to the lobby after being exhausted from our 7 hour road trip only to be gaslit by Eric. He said that the hotel doesn’t do that there but the option was on the tv and had just worked in our old room. He said he would send maintenance up to help and they finally arrived after 2 hours and told us that they were working on it. The tv did not get fixed. The live tv also did not work. This was the worse hotel I’ve stayed at. The la Quinta motel in Austin was better than this and my sister was almost kidnapped there. I do not recommend this hotel.

My friends and I were looking for a clean and nice hotel in the middle of Downtown Dallas. This hotel was perfect for a girls trip. There was an outdoor pool on the 9th floor overlooking the city buildings! The beds were clean and the hotel was neat and comfortable upon arrival.

Hotel was fine, clean, decent. Staff not very helpful with suggestions. Area is not a safe area. We were constantly questioned by security if we were ok due to the neighborhood. Not very safe during the day, couldn’t pay me enough at high. We Uber’d a lot which adds up but took the worry out.

I'm assuming the front desk clerk was a little tired or something??? :--( Because he was pretty monotoned and dry, but overall for the time we spent there, everything else was good, and we will probably return :--)

Took 2 hours to be able to check in , once checked in room that was given to us was super dirty and a mess. Front guy mahamd didn't wanna exchange room once he did the maid had asked to give us free breakfast he was super rude about it and said no . When booking rooms it said free breakfast it was not free parking 20 dollars a night parking garage is horrible. Elevators take up to 10 minutes each just to be able to go down horrible experience.
