    There were no towels, toilet paper, when I ask for them I was told they didn’t have any at all. The room was not cleaned. And they charged me a 100.00 dollar deposit after I checked out.

    I arrived at the location before 3 which is the check-in time. And the receptionist told me to come back at three to get a room when I arrived back at the hotel the receptionist advised me that he did not have any rooms available. I then looked online and booked the same hotel room through hotels.com and seeing the rooms were available, I pay for the room online I go to check in And the guy says that there is $100 deposit I go to pay for the deposit with my car and he says the deposit won’t be back on my car for up to two weeks. I asked if I could pay the deposit in cash and he said they do not accept cash, which is crazy to me. I canceled my reservation at the counter, and the guy said in order for me to get my refund, I have to go back through the third-party who I booked the room with which is hotels.com I contacted hotels.com and they’re telling me that I should contact the facility. I called the facility and they hung up in my face. They took my money and I was unable to get a refund for the room that I booked. The receptionist was very rude and not helpful at all. I never known a hotel not to accept a cash deposit. If you’re booking for this hotel, just be aware that you may not get your deposit money back for up to two weeks at least that’s what I was told.

    Did not have anything but hand towels in the bathrooms, not able to dry off with a regular towel after the shower. The elevator wasn’t working and there was no soap in the bathrooms.

    We arrived for a one night stay and the elevator was out so we had to haul our luggage up three floors which is never fun but is what it is. The top two floors ice machines didn’t work. The ac unit in our room made a cricket type sound so it was hard to sleep. But the room was clean and had a comfortable bed and room setup and the front counter guy was a nice guy. And that’s all I have to say about that.

    AC unit was broken and stuck on 66, but didn't seem to be cooling. Luckily it was a pretty cool night and I brought my fan. The fire alarm went off multiple times at night and early in the morning. The elevator was out of order but we were placed in first floor room so that didn't affect me. Other than this everything else was great, parking lot was nice, the room was pretty nice too.

    The sheets were stained, there was no hairdryer in the bathroom, and the room didn't even have chairs or napkins. My car was stolen from the window of the hotel even though it was parked in front of the hotel. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

    To be honest my stay here was very terrible. Almost everything about my room was broken. The only thing that worked were the lights. The bed was not flat and made a high pitched squeaking noise anytime I moved on it, the plastic molding on the walls were all falling off, the couch was broken and as soon as I sat on it I basically fell through it and landed on the floor, the shower door had a water proofing piece that was almost fully torn off, the entire hotel had no tissues, and the room smelt of bad mold the entire time which I'm sure is some sort of health hazard. On top of all that, every time I left my room I had to get my room key rescanned by the front desk because it wouldn’t work anymore. I stayed for only 3 nights and each time I returned to my room on the third floor the key wont open the door so I would have to go all the way back to the front desk and get it re-scanned (happened 3 times during my stay). The elevators were also out of service so we had to carry our luggage bags up and down (I don't mind the exercise but we didn't pay to stay in a hotel with broken basic amenities). I absolutely did not enjoy my stay and it felt like they were just cutting corners in every possible way.

    Several things were terrible. The elevator was not working, the pool was closed, breakfast that is included had several things missing such as no milk for the cereal, no cream cheese for the bagels, no jam or butter for toast, coffee had no creamer, no juice of any sort. The towels for the room were minimal, which is a suite , were given hesitantly when asked for more, room was not cleaned unless I asked for service. First day was not cleaned. Furniture in room is old or banged up, carpet was dirty with burn marks. Do not stay here it is not worth it. At check in I was told the rates were lower due to the elevator being broken. No where did it say the elevator was broken. Poor amenities!!

The phone didn't have a cord, and the coffee maker didn't work; the water leaked everywhere. The USB sockets on the bedside table on both sides didn't work, we were never given the hotel's Wi-Fi password, we doubt the sheets were clean as we found something like crumbs on the bed.

    Pros: Large and spacious Relatively clean room, bed and bathroom Business center will take your basic computer needs. Mouse is awfully small however. Manager and desk staff takes pride in his hotel and delivers solid service Cons: No breakfast as of 6 Feb 2026. Elevator does not work. Hopefully you lift and can move 60 lbs bags up the stairs or you may wanna hit the gym. Water damage on wall of king bed suite. No mold so does not effect me. Outdated couch. Still serviceable however.

    This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Check-in was a mess. The receptionist was completely uninterested, unhelpful, and didn’t give any proper instructions, no explanation of amenities, layout, or anything useful. Breakfast was listed and advertised, but there was no breakfast at all. When asked, the front desk blamed “logistics issues” and said the truck didn’t arrive. No apology, no alternative, no compensation. There is no elevator, which is not clearly communicated, great surprise if you’re carrying luggage. The room itself was unacceptable. Bedsheets were not clean and smelled foul. Towels were stained. The room didn’t have enough toiletries or towels to begin with. We called the front desk for fresh towels—no one ever showed up. Tried using the intercom, which did not work at all. Staff support was essentially nonexistent. Overall, poor hygiene, broken communication, misleading amenities, and apathetic staff. This place fails at the absolute basics of hospitality. I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

    Nice stay for one night. The room did smell like it had been smoked in in the past, and it was a non smoking room.     The front desk clerk was judgy about any request I made. We had two adults and a teenager but only towels and shampoo, etc. for one guest…so I asked for more and he asked me if I could not find towels in the room. Check out was another issue.

    Vee the front desk receptionist, who also claimed to be the owner, was shockingly unprofessional and disrespectful. During the morning breakfast rush, in front of other guests, she raised her voice at me simply because I politely asked whether any first-floor rooms were available. I am nearly 70 years old, and the elevators were not working and I explained it was painful to go up and down the stairs. Instead of offering assistance or even a calm explanation, she loudly screamed at me that because I “paid a low rate,” they would not be switching my room. I tried to explain that the rate shown online was out of my control, but she continued to escalate the matter and scream at me more. I have never seen such unprofessional level of service. To make matters worse, while checking out, I witnessed Vee aggressively knocking on guest doors and loudly telling them it was time for check out. It reinforced the overall lack of professionalism at this hotel. I truly hope management reconsiders who they allow to represent their customer service, because this was one of the most uncomfortable hotel experiences I have ever had.

    The pictures looked much nicer than the reality. They were deceiving. Prostitutes on corner. The "continental" breakfast consisted of prepackaged muffin, toast, bagels. Another one that the pictures were deceiving. There were waffle irons but they were unplugged and not available for us to use. No one was at the front desk to even ask about it. Homeless people walked in to eat since no one was at the front desk. VERY disappointed!

    It was only one person working the desk apparently it was 5pm & the door was locked no one at the desk to answer the phone so I could check in 15 min later a guest opened the door. The elevators didn’t work luckily it wasn’t that many stairs to the 3rd floor & our room was hot when we walked in. Our microwave the door locked in order to get my food out I had to unplug the microwave. I also asked for a late check out & the guy that checked me in stated that they were full, but I slept in late anyway & the morning guy didn’t mind. The bed was comfortable & the water was hot.

    The hotel is in good shape. But by far the worst place to stay. My vehicle has gotten broken into along with several other people cars. The guy at the front desk says this happens all the time. A hotel that has thieves around it all the time should not be a listing

    So aside the elevator being broken which isn’t ideal but manageable, when we checked into our first room there were whitish stains all over the couch, as well as the TV being scratched up to where you can’t even enjoy it properly. We were then moved rooms and told we wouldn’t get our deposit back if we touched anything in the previous room which caught me off guard as we barely stepped foot in there. Our second room was slightly more comfortable, however there were still some white stains on the couch as well as the chair in the room. All of the towels in our room were white but they all had stains either red or yellow and it felt like we were using pre-used unwashed towels. The walls were also dirty as they look like they’ve never been wiped down, and it felt dirty just staying in the room but we were so tired we dealt with it. The breakfast was the only good thing about our stay as it was pretty good.

    The elevator is not working in the hotel. The door was locked with that safety mechanism and I had to have somebody come and open that after a few minutes so I could get into the room. And your $50 fee was not clearly stated upfront. So I will probably never use Expedia again.

    I like the fact they serve breakfast which was really good The receptionist who was booking the rooms. He was very unprofessional. He was more concerned talking to a guest about his country then helping me with my issue. Even the guest who seemed to be from his country looked bored bud didn't know how to disengage in the conversation. He should be told to stay professional at all times and stop wasting unnecessary time so he can serve other waiting guests so he can book their rooms as quickly as possible so we can get our rooms as without having to wait till he talks about personal stuff. The room I stayed in was very hot and it took the room quite a bit to cool off. I was very tired and couldn't sleep due to the heat, I thought the AC wasn't working at first.

    We have stayed here many times and rated 5 stars in past. However this time breakfast was bad, offering only waffles, bagels (no butter or cream cheese) and apples. That was it.     This hotel was disgusting. Room was marginal at best, with so much dampness that the AC unit was definitely full of mold. Elevators were broken so had to use stairs that were just dank. In the morning they had mopped the floor at the bottom but no sign to make guests aware as they dragged luggage down. Breakfast was just gross waffles and basics.

    The location and the kindness of the boss. He informed us so well about white Sands and Ruidoso. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was nice. Maye I missed eggs or sausage but it was milk, orange juice, toast, marmalade and bananas... It is a good place to spend a night close to white sands. Maybe the shower was the worst part because the water didn't have so force.

    The price, but not worth being solicited multiple times in the parking lot where I denied all advancements, only to be banned for "suspicious activity". Hotel staff couldn't even explain what I was being accused of and no member of management was available to talk to. I contacted corporate, who was also very confused as the hotel was unwilling to discuss what was the reason. I was approached at least 4x and I denied all who approached me. I didn't have any "extra guests" other than my bf who was registered as a guest, for visiting purposes he didnt even stay there with me, but we had been together all evening. We (my bf and I) had decided I would stay an additional night to spend more time together. When I called the front desk to extend my stay when I was told that I have a note on my account saying I can't stay there anymore due to "suspicious activity" no further explanation. I was approached several times in the parking lot, due to it being in a high prostitution traffic area. Local prostitutes walk up and down the street (and hang out in the parking lot) in mesh lingerie & heels, while tricks/John's circle the property like vultures. Not at any time was I dressed inappropriately, I was never in the company of any men other than my bf other than possibly a very short cordial conversation in front of the hotel near the "smokers area." I feel an explanation is owed as to what I did to constitute "suspicious activity" other than walking thru the parking lot as a registered guest. We (my bf and I) had decided I would stay an additional night to spend more time together. When I called the front desk to extend my stay when I was told that I have a note on my account saying I can't stay there anymore due to "suspicious activity" no further explanation. I was approached several times in the parking lot, due to it being in a high prostitution traffic area. Local prostitutes walk up and down the street (and hang out in the parking lot) in mesh lingerie & heels, while tricks/John's circle the property like vultures. Not at any time was I dressed inappropriately, I was never in the company of any men other than my bf, other than possibly a very short cordial conversation in front of the hotel near the "smokers area." I feel an explanation is owed as to what I did to constitute "suspicious activity" other than walking thru the parking lot as a registered guest. Never been treated so disrespectfully.

    Booked this hotel due to its proximity to Dallas Love. My family had an early morning flight the next morning. The hotel staff was very nice but problems from the beginning. They couldn’t find our reservation even with my hotels.com receipt and confirmation. Checkin took over 30 minutes with zero line. The hotel itself is in decent condition, however we pulled up at 10pm and there were literal HOOKERS standing in front of the hotel. Lots of shady business in the parking lot and the front desk was paroling the driveway to ensure the hookers didn’t go inside. Will never be back to that area again wow.

    Made reservation at the last minute, able to choose what floor the room was on, clean facility, and a great complementary breakfast.. Seen a couple of prostitutes outside on the street but they were quickly removed.. The assistant apologized and stated that the manager was working to resolve the issue. Other than that I can't t complain about anything else.

    Elevator was down and broken. I’m traveling for work with a lot gear and luggage. Very unpractical for me to carry my gear up and down stairs for multiple days. I ask if they could accommodate me for a ground level floor since the elevator is broken and have my gear. They could not so I didn’t stay this hotel and the staff wasn’t helpful with getting a refund.

    The area is sketchy but the room was Big, very clean, and also nice size tv. I wouldn’t stay there if you have kids cause of what they might see.     Don’t stay in the area, they got cameras and everything but you will still get robbed. And the police won’t show up, you’ll have to file a claim. It’s been over 3 hours since I called to make the report and they said they was gonna call me back and yet they haven’t. Overall terrible. The outlets to charge your devices are detached from whatever it’s called so it won’t even charge anything. Save yall time and spent the extra money on a better location and hotel. Oh and they didn’t even have food in their little market 😂

    The pictures online do NOT match with the actual place. There was a hole in the door frame where the dead bolt went in so the door didn’t fully close. It smelled sour in my room and the TV was hanging by a thread on the wall. Then when I tell the man I why was not staying there he looks at me like I’m crazy and still charges my cc for the “deposit” and charges $20 more than he originally said.

    We reserved a 2 bedroom suite for our group. Upon arrival they told us it was not available due to a water leak and could only offer a standard room as a replacement. This did not work for our group and so we cancelled and moved to another hotel. Then they had the nerve to fight us for our refund, stating it was their policy not to refund if the cancellation is not made prior to the stay. They called to verify that we were still coming, but never bothered to tell us that the suite was unavailable. Very poor business practices!

    I booked a handicap room because my friend is in a wheelchair. We get to the room and the air conditioner doesn't work so they give us a room on the 3rd floor without a roll-in shower. The fridge doesnt work and the coffee maker either. Then later we need to go out but the elevator stopped working so we are stuck in our room. They never apologized or tried to fix anything in the room or replace it. They didn't seem to care at all. They also kept my deposit. This place is a disgrace.

    I stayed at this hotel for five days, and every moment was a continuous nightmare. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. First off, the smell. The entire hotel reeked of an unbearable odor that made the stay incredibly unpleasant. As if that wasn't enough, the cleaning service was simply nonexistent. Even though I was there for five days, the room was never cleaned. I contacted the front desk multiple times asking for cleaning, but no one bothered to show up. But the worst part was the series of thefts. A bag containing valuable items was stolen from my room. Unfortunately, I wasn't the only one – another guest, staying in the room next to mine, also reported a theft. It's clear that the staff isn't trustworthy, especially the cleaners who abused their position and guests' trust. In short, this hotel is a disaster by all accounts. A bad smell, complete lack of cleanliness, and shocking thefts make it a place you absolutely shouldn't stay at. If you're looking for a pleasant and safe vacation, look elsewhere.

    The keys worked inconsistently, so that was very inconvenient. They Wifi constantly disconnected. They cleaned rooms every 3 days so you don’t get clean towels every day, there is a sign that says that you can get more upon request but when we requested them they said they didn’t have any at that moment. Also the phone in the room was just for the looks because it was unplugged so we had to go to the front desk to ask for the WiFi and the towels. Really the only good this about this hotel was the location because it was just 7 miles from downtown.

    I'm 100% certain that this place is haunted. Curtains flowing with no wind, human whispers from the hvac unit, and the light exploding in the middle of the night, in some other worldy pulsating eruption of lightning, but then unfeasably staying on moments after I unplugged it from the wall were to say the least, surprisingly uncomfortable. They should call this place the Haunted Discomfort Suites, because Im still very uncomfortable with my stay there. They did have good bagels, though I won't be staying again.
