Pool was nice for the kids but hot tub was drained & not in use. Breakfast cease to exist!! Texas shaped waffle (no butter) with 1 small pot of instant eggs & 1 pot of half done sausages…3 cups of yogurt & milk in fridge…2 different kinds of stale cereal….coffee options were decent.

The price was great. Location was pretty close to everything we were interested in doing. Room was clean, had a microwave and fridge, and the bed was comfy. The pool was cold. I thought it would be heated but nope. Hot tub was closed and according to other reviews it has been for years so that's ridiculous. Breakfast didn't have very many options, especially for kids. If it hadn't had the one waffle maker (which takes forever when you have multiple people) we wouldn't have bothered with breakfast at all. Also the wifi password we were given on our room key wouldn't work no matter how I tried to put it in. And the other wifi option available said we had to pay for it and I'm positive we were supposed to get wifi included. We probably could have gone and asked the front desk for help but when I did that about the freezing cold pool I was simply told, "well it's not a heated pool". So I didn't want to bother them again.

The lobby and pool area were well kepr. My room 226 had ripped carpet, the drywall mudding and paint in the bathroom looked like a child did it, the shower curtain holder was falling off the walk only held on by one screw, the bathroom faucet leaked water all over the vanity, and there was no hot water for the entirety of my stay, apparently there was a gas leak in the area and the city shut off the gas but there was no attempt for reimbursement just an apology.

They have a picnic table outside, which is nice, but we had what seemed like homeless guys or people on drugs ... they looked rough, and i really dont want to speculate, but i have to describe them somehow, so anyways they were walking in the parking lot, gathering things from around cars. One walked and sat on the curb to one side of us, and the other was gathering things from around a car on the other side of us. I was facing my mom. so I could see one, and she could see the other. The guy on the curb pointed at us, and the other started to approach us. We went inside, and he turned around and stayed outside. It made us feel unsafe to sit outside and enjoy it. Also, the hot tub is out of commission, so if you are booking this hotel because it has a hot tub, I would suggest calling to confirm it is working and you're able to use it. I was so sad to see it completely drained with no hope of being filled. I just finished chemo, and this was supposed to be a relaxing spa weekend. I feel like there was something minor to add, but my chemo brain has blocked it from me for the moment. So it must not have bothered me that much.

Property was very clean. The staff was amazing. And they actually had a decent breakfast bar. Convenient Parking. I would truly book here if I'm back in Dallas.

We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast or the pool but both seemed great. We just stayed too busy doing other stuff. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. No complaints.

I liked that the AC was already on and the room was cold. Felt great coming out of the summer heat into a temperature comfortable room. Check-in was simple since I had done it online that morning before we left on our trip. The staff did their job, but no one smiled or seemed like they really wanted to be there, but they did what their job required. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. Shortly after we arrived, the power went out, and I had an important event to attend, which completely disrupted my plans. The issue took a long time to fix, and we were told there was no generator available. Because of the delay and inconvenience, I requested a refund. At first, they refused and even tried to prevent us from leaving. Eventually, one employee agreed that I could return the next morning for a refund, so I left without even staying the night. When I came back the next day, the receptionist acted like she had no idea what I was talking about and claimed the person who agreed to the refund was just a maintenance worker. I was then told to call back when that person was working. This level of service and lack of communication is unacceptable. I will not be returning to this hotel or recommending it to anyone.

Bed was ok but could be better Photo description was not accurate. No roll on shower in room with 2 beds that was in all the photos. Shower bench was set way too low and it was impossible to take a shower. Pool was open but cold. Not heated. I couldn't use it because the accessible chair was broken. Hot tub was not working. Card was initially charged twice and they couldn't release the funds. Too many issues. No disabled rooms available nearby because it was too late. We booked 2 months in advance

Packages.” I guess the word “complimentary” doesn’t mean the same thing here. I just let it go - “oh well, can’t expect too much…” Then I asked for housekeeping at 11am: forget about it if your Dnd was on the door at 10am. I was told to “calm down” when confused by this policy & did as requested. I am calm now. Still wonder why those pictures of the jacuzzi on the booking site ? What about that misleading sign about “complementary” airport service upon request? And why such draconian rules over housekeeping ? I can only deduce that it means a luxury at this hotel. Like the jacuzzi. And the airport drop off. “Exclusive” benefits unavailable for guests at this hotel. Stay at Springhill or Motel 6… I hear they leave the lights on for you.

Main entrance to the property it’s not that accessible. My bathroom head men’s shaving leaving on the counter and sink and soaps. The room smells like maybe it used to have cigarette smokers in it years ago and the smell has never actually left. There’s no airport shuttle offered.

Needs tlc. Smells horrible and the walls are so thin you can hear everything. Thank God it was only one night. And for the price. Way over paid for the bottom of the barrel.
- 3/5
My biggest qualm about my stay would have to be the smell of the room. As soon as I walked in it smelled like stale sweat. That’s the best way I could describe it. It was a thick smell. I didn’t think it would be worth asking for another room because I got the idea that every room would probably smell the same way. It would be worth doing a deep clean with actual odorizer in these rooms. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. A second waffle maker would be beneficial so people aren’t waiting forever to use it. I just gave up waiting and ate a bagel. More beverage options would also be great. My one positive about my stay was that the front desk clerk was friendly and got me checked in and out efficiently.

Upon arrival the check in rep wasn't very pleasant. We went into the room the comforter was stained, the AC didn't work , and the bathroom door didn't lock. I informed the front desk attendant and he got annoyed and said it works fine that it takes time to cool even though it had been on for over 3 hours. Later that even I went and asked for towels and he asked where our towels were and for me to bring them down for an exchange, when I told him they were being used be handed me the new ones and told me not to get them dirty to return them the same way he handed them to me.

Has been a great place to stay since changing from comfort inn across the street ! It’s amazing what a polite staff can change ! I would rather pay the 50 extra dollars it cost to stay here than yo have yo deal with the staff at comfort inn and this place is immaculate every time I step in the doors and I can’t say enough good things about Baymont !
- 3/5
I completed a 3 night stay here. On initial entry seen micro spiders on bed on 2nd day I allowed they to refresh the room and im not sure what happened but it seems something was biting me, maybe bed bugs which I didn't experience the 1st two night with the previous sheets. The breakfast was subpar only tried the bagels which was stale but the fruit was fresh so only ate a banana.

Rooms were a bit outdated but for the price it is expected, staff behind the counter was friendly, only problem is the little security guard that goes on his power trips😂. I asked the man behind the counter if I could talk on the phone in the lobby and he had no problem with it. 30-40min into my phone call security comes up to me with lots of attitude telling me I have to go that I’ve been here for an hour and half, and this isn’t my little hangout spot, I tell him it has not been that long and I asked for permission and I have an important call to make. Then he goes up to another lady and says the same thing and even the lady said “what’s up with your attitude”, if he would of asked nicely I wouldn’t of had a problem, I’ve stayed at lots of hotels and never been kicked from the lobby no matter what time it was.

We had a problem with the toilet not working. Fortunately, we discovered the problem early on and they kindly moved us to a room just down the hall. The website advertises a hot tub but it was not in working condition so that was disappointing especially as the pool is not heated. The breakfast was pretty lame. Nice area though and the room was quiet and dark.

1. I was in town for a date. The toilet became clogged, I called the front desk about it, it took them three hours to bring up a plunger as they refused to unclog the toilet themselves and told me to do it myself. I have never been in a hotel in my life seen a hotel tell you to do it yourself. The manager one duty and I got into an argument at my door and as I was leaving to go on a *DATE* while having my foot covered in toilet water. 2. The hotel showed a hot tub as on site. I chose this as I am disabled and in constant chronic pain. I get there is the hot tub is closed with caution tape around it. 3. There was no clock in the room. 4. Vending machines hardly worked and I had to go to another floor to find a working ice machine. 5. The room had a foul smell My weekend was ruined. Don't let yours become ruined as well.

The area is extremely sketchy, with our entire hallway smelling like weed and sex workers in and out at all hours. There were bugs - not bedbugs, thankfully - in the room. To top it all off, the hotel double charged me the incidental fee, refunded it, and then charged it again the day after I checked out. They insist they refunded it but my bank has no record of the refund and had me file a fraud claim to get my $200 back. The manager was rude and unhelpful when I called for help, literally leaving me on the phone and refusing to speak with me and even going so far as to hang up on me multiple times when I called from my husband’s phone. We needed a place to sleep for 5 hours before a flight heading out, and we’d have been significantly better off sleeping in our car. Don’t stay here.

Overall, not a bad stay for a one nighter. The building could use some renovations and the bed could bit a bit more comfortable, but it’s a good place for a good price. Breakfast was okay, simple.

Hot tub was non-working which was the whole point of booking this hotel. It’s an older property with noticeable wear and tear.

The floors were sloped by the door the battery was dying so the person in the front took the whole smoke detector out of the room after about a hour I went down as asked when he was going to replace it he said he was not ... TV was outdated and no channel listing most channels did. It work. Bed we're not comfortable at all...

My room was clean, and the bed was nice and firm which made it enjoyable to sleep. The air conditioning was great as well however, you can tell it’s an older hotel that needs some updating. The bathroom floor had dips and cracks in their tiles. I was only there for about six hours to sleep so For what I paid for was a really good deal. The staff was nice and helpful.

The property could use some cleaning, updates, better beds and breakfast. We came for an international robotics competition and this was one of the hotels on the preferred list. I would not recommend this hotel.

So ... the hotel backs up to a mens club.. no big deal... however the people walking around the hotel are iffy. Saturday night was a busy night for the hotel, i watched people coming and going that seem to just be using the hotel as a spot. Our room was clean, the door didnt lock and the refrigerator didnt cool. Breakfast was good! Its not a bad place to stay.

I loved the kindness of the staff and how the respected privacy.

Generally unimpressed with the facility. Amenities are limited. Hot tub was out of order undrained looked filthy. Carpets were worn and snagged. Locks malfunctioning on the door. No safe in room. Broken vending machines. Very sketchy area. Many prostitutes walking the street.
- 3/5
Outside looked like a at least 4 star or more hotel. Inside the room looked like a 1 star. The towels smelled, the beds need full upgrade. They were so soft and lumpy. Mattress seemed like it’s super old. Rest of the room was ok. A/C made noise like it might break soon. Hot tub was broken and was filled with spiders and roaches. Not worth the amount paid.
- 3/5
Property extremely run down! Ac/heat didn’t work in the room. Only 1 cup of coffee option in room. Fortunately it was a cool night in Dallas didn’t need Ac but room was stuffy. Won’t stay again.
- 1/5
The hallways in the hotel are very weak and have many weak spots, you feel like you’ll fall through in places. The indoor pool was ice cold, not sure if the heater is out or what. The hot tub was out of order the whole 7 nights we were there as well. Tried to get a light bulb for one of our lamps for 7 days with no luck. Knobs missing off the dressers, couldn’t open two drawers. Pillows in room were not regular sized…more like a square couch pillow. Carpets smelled in the hallway and the room. Breakfast was very minimal, sausage links poured into a crockpot and put on low…they were never warm. If you were staying here one night you could manage easy but unfortunately we were here for 7 nights due to a business obligation and needed a decently affordable hotel for that length of time period. Apparently $88.00 a night doesn’t get you much in way of a stay anymore.

There was only about one, maybe two of the staff that was friendly and the manager was the most rude person I’ve ever encountered staying at a hotel. I could not afford to leave and check out and go to another hotel. I wish I would’ve been able to. I would’ve been out of there. I asked the manager for her bosses phone number so I could call to talk to her and she told me that there was no one above her…that She was it and she just argued with me about what I had to say about my visit there. she proceeded to tell me that she was not rude to me that I was the one with the problems. That I should’ve just left if I was not happy there instead of taking responsibility for her actions. I still want to talk to the person above her still trying to find out that person‘s name and phone number.

Property is older, not the best neighborhood, the room was old but pretty clean

At checkin and two other visits to front desk. Each time the desk worker was on a personal phone call. They got distracted and I had to ask for my ID and charge card back then point out where he had laid them. Breakfast choices were minimal, and bland, but they were clean and organized. Room was clean and renovated. Pool looked nice but hot tub was closed.

Still have not recieved my deposit back and we literally booked for 2 night but stayed one

I always have a great stay at the Baymont Inn. Every time we come to Dallas we only book here
- 2/5
The property was nothing like the pictures, the hot tub was shut down with caution tape and the pool didn’t look very clean. Our room had a very worn out shower curtain that wouldn’t take on the pool, our ceiling has what looked like water damage and several patch jobs not done correctly. The breakfast was very limited they would only put 1 yogurt out at a time, they used a crockpot to keep the sausage hot. It was just not professional in my opinion. I will not ever stay here again.

The hotel next door seem to be a trap house hotel

My overall stay was good. Friendly staff go above & beyond. Hotel very neat & clean. TVs need to be updated….a lot of channels you couldn’t see, only heard the channels playing. But, overall good experience!

GREAT PLACE TO COME RELAX AND GET AWAY FROM EVERYTHING GOING ON! NICE AND QUIET, NOT TO MENTION A VERY FRIENDLY STAFF. BREAKFAST IS SERVED DAILY! HOUSEKEEPER AVAILABLE IF YOU NEED THEM AND FRIENDLY WORKERS AT THE FRONT DESK ALWAYS AVAILABLE IF YOU NEED THEM ALSO! I WILL BE RETURNING!!

Really great staff, needs massive updating. The room is run down but the bed was comfy and the breakfast was better than I would have guessed. Overall I’d stay again when traveling through, but it wouldn’t be my choice if I was staying in Dallas.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Baymont in Dallas. We knew we weren’t going to spend much time at the hotel, as we had a long list of things we wanted to do while in Dallas. With that being said, I didn’t want to pay a lot for a room. The hotel itself is older. It has an older, musty smell to it. Nothing unbearable, but something you get used to after a while. The room was pretty roomy for the two of us. We opted for a king suite which had a sofa with a bed and a king bed. The king bed was comfortable which I was skeptical about after reading some reviews. We slept really well in the bed! The sofa bed was horrible! The mattress was thin and worn. The sofa cushions were worn as well, so my assumption is that the sofa was just old. The shower head was awesome! Great pressure and even had a massaging setting. Breakfast was simple with waffles, cereal, toast, scrambled eggs, and sausage. Of course coffee and juice were available too. Overall the breakfast was not too bad for a free continental breakfast! The staff was nice and customer service at the front desk was great! The area is a little run down with ladies walking around in questionable attire who looked more like they were working the area. The saying “you get what you pay for” is very true for our stay. It wasn’t horrible and we didn’t break our bank to sleep for three nights.

City of Dallas had NO signs for easy directions.

Hotel waa crusty and dirty. Shower curtains were thorn and I didn't feel safe in the property. It's not a nice area. Would not recommend.
- 3/5
The property looked very nice. However, the bed and pillows were lumpy. Sheets, covers were great. Bed lumpy! The A/C cooled room very well but made noise as loud as a “noise maker”. Shower curtain was torn/ripped at one end but still capable of keeping water from getting on floor. This hotel is nicely located and appears to have almost full occupancy nightly which screams poor distribution of finances. In short, y’all need to update rooms — at the very least, get new beds!!
- 1/5
This hotel is not clean plus they dont allow friends and family up to your roo.. i believe they have a roden problen because i kept hearing something in the room scratching around the couch at night.
- 4/5
I like the convenience of the location of the property.
- 3/5
Ceiling had water damage, tub had no stopper, room smelled like pee, hot tub was broken, door had to be pulled shut instead of shutting automatically like most hotel room doors and I was forced to pre-pay even though I hadn’t stayed yet. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Staff that served breakfast and cleaned rooms were professional and wonderful!
- 2/5
The toilet must have a leak as it refilled every few minutes. The taps in the bathroom constantly dripped and the smoke detector was missing from our room. Definitely skip the breakfast.

There were quite a few things that need to be addressed. The room smelled like mold and cigarettes. The first night in the bed I felt like I was being bitten all over. It was also difficult to sleep with the highway noise right outside the window and the hotel is right next to a gentleman's strip club.
