Overall the room was great! The bigger fridge and kitchenette was an added bonus. Breakfast was overall good. Only thing was that there was blood drops inside the shower curtain and the curtain by the window. Also we stayed in an accessible room and it the bathtub is dangerously slippery, so keep that in mind when booking.

It was one of our best stays at the hotel, and we have been coming since early 2025. I don't have any complaints, just compliments. There isn't anything that I didn't like. This was a very good stay for my family.

First time staying with them, but it won’t be the last. Staff was friendly, it was clean, everything worked properly, but it needs a little paint on the outside. If you don’t mind the need for paint, it’ll be great for you too.

When I asked for another room due to the deadbolt issue I was told I had to pack up all of my stuff before I could check the quality of the other room. We checked into a handicapped accessible room for my 80 year old mother and the replacement room was not handicapped accessible. We stayed in our original room and opened all the drawers in the kitchenette to provide additional protection incase of the door opening. This property does not meet the standards of a Marriott property.

It took is two days, five requests, and an online complaint to corporate to receive clean sheets. We had to do our own housekeeping despite being assured they would replace our towels and sheets. I found out after three days that we had to put our own trash in the hallway. When they finally came to clean the room, the only thing they did was change the sheets and towels. Nothing was cleaned, and they only did this because of my complaint to corporate. The desk and housekeeping staff are the same people.

Very comfortable rooms and a very nice hot breakfast. This is our go to place when in Corpus Christi.

The friendly staff let us check in early. The complimentary water is such an added plus. Our room was clean, including the bathroom. Pool is a great feature. Although the pool was a great feature, it was absolutely freezing. There were no lay out chairs, so that was a bit uncomfortable.

Even a movie theater right next door should you want to catch a movie! There is nothing negative to say about this place. We stayed for 5 days and couldn't be happier with our choice to stay here. The staff welcomes you with courtesy and professionalism, Philip the breakfast chef is very polite and helpful and can make the best oatmeal. I do miss the Texas shape waffle maker but the round waffle is good also. Location of hotel is excellent and I feel safe there. It's a great place to stay and that is where I stay when in Corpus Christi. Room was well kept and love that there is a full size fridge and microwave. Thank you very much front office staff for all your help during this stay. It shows you care. Thank you!

We visit family several times a year and have stayed at many other hotels and with requesting a room that is accessable this hotel was the best. We slept well and the accomidations were the best thus far.

We are a family of three and enjoyed our stay. The room was more spacious than what we had seen in photos and had alot of storage space we didn't expect eg huge closet opposite kitchen as we walked through door (easily fitted our large suitcases) and had shelving above desk plus several draws. Decent bathroom and very good size bed. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The room and other facilities were well-maintained and clean. The room was as described and had all the facilities mentioned. The small kitchenette in the room was very well equipped with a microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, cooking range, fridge, utensils, etc. Good breakfast. The description mentioned a swimming pool, which is very small cannot really swim in the pool. It's more like a kids' pool. The pool was not a requirement, as the beach is close by, but they mentioned that it was not as per our expectations.

The service at this hotel is great! We received free snacks and bottles of water upon checking in. Breakfast food was plentiful, and the potato was delicious. The room was a bit outdated with a musty smell, and there was no smart TV. Bathroom was clean though, but the shower could be slippery, so watch out for that. Free laundry machines were a great plus!

Maintenance items: Desk chair didn't raise high enough to use desk; desk lamp was missing one (of two) light bulbs. Bathroom fan, very noisy, ran full time when light turned on. Shower bottom dangerously slick. Exterior noise penetration. Parking lot was peculiar; no way to pull up to front door and leave the vehicle while checking in. Parking only in back, requiring walk around the building to get in.

Room was clean, not enough pillows and blankets were limited.. lady that checked us in was not hospitable...asked for my card swiped I asked what was this for she said $20 a day didn't give me a heads up before she swiped. I understand but at least give me a heads up. Maybe she was busy or a bad day, but I am not staying there agian. Breakfast was what we were hoping would be great as usual but didn't.

Excellent staff! The facility was clean and the room was super nice. The only thing about my stay that I wasn’t too fond of is that I had to do a few trips to get everything in to the room since we couldn’t load everything from the lobby.

Room was nice and cool all night. Bed was comfortable. Location easy to get to and walking distance to restaurants. The rooms could use a little bit more deep cleaning. The kitchenette drawers were dirty in one of the rooms. The floors were sticky in same room. The bathrooms need safety features added. The tub is very slippery and every one of our friends had issues where they almost fell while in or getting out of shower. The floor is slippery but you can at least put a towel down. This is our second year staying here and the bathtub/shower is probably the reason we will change hotels next year.

Everything was great. The staff was nice they helped me with everything I need it, really professional and courteous people. There were plenty of parking spaces. There’s a Apple bees next to it and a Salt Grass which it was convenient. I recommend it and I will book with them again if I have to.

Dishwater did not work. The promised waffle was not served for 3 days as part of the included continental breakfast. Two front desk people did not have patience to listen our concerns and did not care our pains and simply follow the bad guidelines of their management. The front desk people never carry the manual or instructions for operating their dishwater.The say is disappointing. I will never come again to this place

After going through so much to get to Texas my reservation was canceled because checked-in through a third party. After a 14 hour drive, and spending a whole day at the football field, i just wanted to lay down. Thrme hotel manager was so rude and did not want to help me out at all. I had to pay an additional 80 dollars plus 100 dollar fee. Im still waiting for my refund of 114 dollars. Also thr lady at the front desk said the 100 dollars was refundable once they checked the room, still have not received anything. That leaves me and my kids with less than 100 dollars for the next cpuple of days while being so far from home.

The clerk was very friendly. Our hotel room furniture ( couch had corner bitten off, side of the desk was bitten off. bathroom tile was loose and under the bed we noticed paper scraps and a bitten apple. The pool was dirty. The elevator had urine maybe from a pet. I could not believe my eyes and I regret the hotel we checked into.

Our family trip was pretty smooth staying there was great . The best beds I’ve slept on in a long time !!!! Breakfast was ahhh ok I guess. The pool was nice my kids loved it . Plenty of restaurants near by and close to the beach . I would definitely book this place again

There was water damage all over the room and property. The curtains were water stained. I was provided towels that still had hairs on them. The staff was very friendly and helpful however.

The room and service was absolutely amazing. My problem with my stay was the breakfast. Makes me wonder if the staff and managers have ever tasted their own food.

so I chose to stay Townplace with my girlfriend and her dog and 1 gandgirl. The front desk were very nice and helpful. We were pleased that the fee for the pet was less then stated on the web page. Our room was on the 4th floor and the reservation was for 4 but just 3 went. We had to ask housekeeping (they were working on our floor)for another set of towels and bedding for the pull out couch, which they were very polite and helpful. The pull out couch had a small dime size hole in the corner off a cushion so I let housekeeping know and I also let the front desk know about it so they wouldn't think we did it. Everyone was nice. The pull out bed mattress old, stained and worn out. I'm sure it was the original mattress. The room was well stocked but did not have a blow dryer. The breakfast had many choices and was yummy. The outdoor pool was closed and needed a good cleaning which was ok since we basically went to the beach, altho my grandgirl wanted to try the pool but we played yatzee instead. Overall it was a good stay and Yes we will go again. I like that checkout is 12.

Smoking no gloves come rigth back to serve the food. Rude cleaning staff. I was charged $75 twice when i was staying there,then charge again yesterday. They sed they were going to fix it and never did.

We loved Corpus.. loved meeting our new Portuguese friends and hanging around the pool. It was.quiet and noone mesed with anythjng that was yours and the area was clean. The only bad thing we have to.say is our room.was full of.roaches we had to get management come up and spray the room ..we ended having to buy spray to help kill them. Staff was really nice and friendly.

I was extremely upset & we were so tired. After waiting an hour I went & asked & was informed our room still wasn’t ready & we would have to wait longer. I do not feel like I should have had to wait 4 hours after check in to be able to get into my room.

The location is perfect. It is near shops and restaurants but just outside all of the heavy traffic. The mini kitchen is great. They even had appreciation pizza for the guests.

Townplace Suites is always in my top 5 of hotel choices wherever I travel. This location was ideal for us. Everything was within 5 miles and the beach (JB Luby) was less than 20 minutes away. This hotel is showing its age but the staff was friendily and it was clean, so I have no complaints.

Hotel was old and in need of remodel and upkeep. Lobby had a bad smell that reaembles urine. Breakfast was poor and not refilled efficiently. The room was dirty. Old chips under the bed and thw sheets looked dirty.

Unfortunately, my showerhead did not work properly, having to wash my hair in the sink. There were tears in the loveseat cushion located in my room. The garbage in the breakfast area was always full. The property was never secured. Each time arriving to the property, i found a side door or back entrance held open or the door did not properly close without being slammed. There was nothing but pork offered as a meat. The Raisin Bran was old. And to top it off, the pool never opened. Each day i asked about the pool, I was tildn we will open it later today. My ENTIRE first full day was completey ruined. Terrible experience.

Breakfast sausage and potatoes left unattended in chafing dish -- dried out and burnt. No OJ. Empty coffee urn; had to wait while kitchen made more. VERY SLIPPERY bathtub surface -- a fall hazard.

I feel like this hotel has the potential to be really great (with great value) or decline. Room was a little smaller than I expected. Beds were comfortable. Everything else just seemed average and okay.

Breakfast was ok. Room was nice but small for a family. Staff was very friendly. Location was great. Restaurants on both sides. Outdoor pool was was nice but small, my granddaughter loved it.

I’m completely upset with what happened to me at this hotel to say the least. If there was a choice of a 0 that would be my rating. I booked with Expedia to this hotel a month ago. I completely paid for both of the nights. I couldn’t show up the first night because my aunt is in the hospital and I had to rebook my flight and I didn’t have the chance to call and let Towneplace and suites know I wouldn’t be coming the first night. Honestly knowing I paid in advance and not being able to get anything back for the first night was completely fine. But when I showed up to check in the next day to be able to stay for my other night - again that was fully paid for - the receptionist said because I didn’t call the night before and check in that I wasn’t able to stay there at all. Only because I didn’t check in the night before?! Unbelievable! It shouldn’t matter if or when I call in at all. If I fully paid for two nights and show up to stay the second night. That’s still my hotel room! In the hotel’s defense they said it all falls on Expedia because that’s their policy. Even though they want to throw the blame on Expedia they still could have helped me in some way. I’m completely appalled and will never have anything to do with Towneplace suites and Marriot ever again! I feel like I got robbed! This was unacceptable in every way! The complaint doesn’t stop here. Everyone will know about this before they choose to stay at any Towneplace suites and Marriot that’s affiliated with them.

Staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Hotel was clean and breakfast was good. Room was clean and nice and the temperature cool. Bed comfort was average. Kitchen placement was not ideal but it worked. It was right by the door and while my husband was in and out I had to keep moving while cooking. You couldn’t stand in front of the stove without getting hit by the door if it opened. Also I’m right handed and it was right against the wall so it was a bit annoying but I will not lower points for this since everything worked and was clean.

Overall, a really good place to stay. The rooms are a good size and there are some walkable restaurants in the area that include Saltgrass. The only negative would be that breakfast in the morning. The shredded cheese had mold and the options weren't very appetizing. Other than that, I can't complain. There is a small charge for parking nightly, which is a little inconvenient, considering the area. I would stay more often but I typically travel with a pet and the pet fees are outrageous upfront, nightly isn't bad. I was not able to check out the gym. The hallways were really warm and muggy but the room was okay.

The room was great and the staff was very attentive. However, the pool was pretty gross and green. It definitely needed to be cleaned like a good deep cleaning.

I was visiting one night, loved the service, however, non handicap vehicles were parked in the handicap parking had to park far from the door after long travel from house and having to carry luggage and push a wheelchair was inconvenient. Staff stressed they couldn't do anything as they do not ask for vehicle information.

1 elevator not working & no out of order sign. Housekeeping stated "it works some of the time, I (she) got stuck in it last week" Other elevator very slow. Staff was amazing, extremely friendly & accommodating

Good place to stay with your family.

First of all, the place was hot upon walking in, they did not even ask for I.D. neither. The room had dirty doors, filthy shower curtain. The mattress was so uncomfortable. It felt cheap. You could feel the springs as you laid on them. The pillows were so uncomfortable. They had no shape. They would wobble and your head and face would sink strsight into it. The temperature in the room felt cool but humid. They also had no parking. We had to park way in the back and walk around the building to get to the front. Also, the water in the swimming pool looked yellow and dirty. The whole place had a dirty & musty smell; needless to say. We got no sleep that night. The whole stay was just awful. I would not be wasting $129 for this type of service again. It was definitely NOT worth the price.

Nice hotel, safe area and good price. They did have some trouble with trying to keep the breakfast food supplied for the hotel guests. At times, they only had scrambled eggs with no meat options to choose from.

Staff was very professional and nice. Easy access on the property and off to get to the road.

I was wondering if they had a hot tub, but I forgot to ask?

The place is good, but they left a used condom in the room's trash can. There are families like me who have children and the truth is that leaves a lot to be desired. I don't know if it's because they don't clean or don't check those things, but that's unacceptable.

The bathroom door had been broke and just tapped. The tub had no plug. You couldnt get more towels. They didnt have blankets or sheets for the pull out couch bed. The pull out couch bed was hard as a rock and spring were felt.

The property was well kept and clean. The carpet in our room needed to be replaced.

We love this TownePlace in Corpus. The staff is absolutely wonderful. The rooms are always clean. I will make a recommendation to the owners, let the AGM order the breakfast items. We always love your breakfast but this visit there was no bacon, no sausage, no scrambled eggs, no weekend waffles, no bottled milk and no yogurt because the order wasn't placed by corporate. We were there for 5 nights too.

For the price, this hotel was a great value. Clean, plenty amenities, convenient location and best of all, all of the staff were very friendly.

Price was right also. Would stay again.

I like that everything is knew and clean. I've noticed one bug, nothing to be alarmed about. Ive realized many walks of life come here; with that said.. easy fix. BIFEN I/T

There was food left over in the fridge along with half empty water bottles from the previous guest. Our dogs were chasing a roach on the carpet of our room. And the sheets looked washed, but had what looked like old dirt stains.

Great place to stay in Corpus. We love the staff.

It was easy to check in. No extra charges on checkin or check out.

The locatii up one proximity to restaurants and other things was great. Breakfast was very good. The gentleman who prepared it was very attentive and helpful.

The service was wonderful, every employee I talked to was professional. The only problem I had was the hard bed. I’ve always heard of people complaining of back or hip pain because of a hard bed but never experienced it for myself until I stayed there.

The staff were so caring and discreet. I especially enjoyed learning about the food options from Malcolm!

I do want to say that the employee working the breakfast area Saturday morning, did such a great job and kept everything as stocked up as possible for the number of people there.

Took a little while to get someone at the front desk to check in but other than that great stay. Coffee was a little slow in the breakfast area but with in room coffee makers it really wasn’t much of an issue.

Good rate and the overall place is nice and spacious, but needs updating. Carpet in the room wasnt in good shape and we found a massive cockroach in our room late at night. Breakfast was very limited and not always fresh. Temp in the room was either freezing or warm - couldnt get it just right. Staff was accommodating and very friendly and it was so great having onsite laundry, but I probably wouldnt stay there again.

Hotel is very worn, needs remodeling. We were shocked as this is a Marriott Hotel and not up to there standards. Lobby bathroom stunk like a port a potty. Very musty smell throughout the Hotel. Breakfast selection was very minimal. However All the employees were very friendly .
