The breakfast was lackluster. The options were juice, bread, cereal or a waffle. No fruit, eggs, or meats. The milk option for drinks available was a carton sitting on the counter. I typically book with hotel with breakfasts, but I ought to look into the actual breakfast available next time. I chose this hotel because it had a breakfast option. Sadly, I didn't know the breakfast options weren't much. The pool was down and had been down for renovations for months. We were planning on utilizing the pool, but couldn't.

There pool was not working I had to go tell the front desk late at night there were holes all in my blanket. And my sheets were not clean and had holes too and I had to ask someone to come clean my room cause they forgot to put me on a list to be clean that day I guess.

I found a cigarette butt behind the door, the freezer was dirty, and there was dust all over the lamps, which made me question whether the room had actually been cleaned. I stayed one night because I had limited options, but the next day I saw what looked like either a bedbug or a cockroach crawling on one of the beds and checked out immediately. I was refunded for one of the two nights, but I even had to buy new clothes because I didn’t want to risk bringing anything home. The staff was polite, but overall it was a terrible experience.

I stayed from Friday to Tuesday and ever since I was there never did anyone knock on my door to see if I need room service ? I had to go ask at the front desk for everything I need

Absolutely nothing. Very nasty hotel It smelled as soon as I walked in. Was dark and quiet. It was dirty and the workers were talking about drugs. Didn’t even have cold milk for the free breakfast it was warm. It was a horrible experience never going back. Especially for the price.

Tv was broken when we first went inside our room (they resolved it with a new tv) then it was supposedly a “nonsmoking” room but the room smelt like old cigarettes and the fabrics inside the room had cigarette burn marks. There was people outside their rooms which made it uncomfortable to even hangout in outside of ours. Will probably never stay here again. I wanted cheap but not this cheap…..

Rooms are not cleaned daily, stayed one week only One day, my bed was linens were gone then they stopped and said “they thought I left 4 days early”. Other than that, my room was never touched.

Liked the fact that when asked the front office staff to move us due to people next door yelling, fighting, etc… police was called immediately & we were moved to a room closer to the front. Didn’t like the fact that the room they originally gave us was in the back area next to the people who were yelling, fighting, etc… the room had a fowl smell and was dirty. The door to the room was not sealed at the bottom, so insects, bugs & whatnot could get in. The pool was not available for our 8 year old to swim in. Very disappointed!

The pictures on the website were not a real representation of the rooms. The tub was stained (dirty), the TV didn't work, the breakfast was just waffles and the coffee ran out. the toilet barely flushed, and the toilet paper holder was about to fall out of the wall. for almost $300 to stay two nights you would have expected a better facility.

We were able to switch rooms for the one night and leave the next morning but the second room was just as bad if not worse. if you absolutely need to stay there, i’d bring your own towels and disinfectant. still waiting on a refund. lol.

The bed was very hard. We were only given 2 towels and no one told us how to get more. The clerk wasn't available to ask. The breakfast was cereal and white bread toast. One waffle maker. There were 3 Cockroaches in the bathroom. The room was old and filthy. There were mothballs in each corner of the room to mask the odor. The table was held together by a splintered piece of wood across the bottom. As I placed a bag on top of the nightstand, it leaned to one side. I decided my family and I would not stay there. As we left another cockroach ran across the inside of the front door. Some of the residents of the hotel appeared to have been there for quite a while as there were seasonal decorations on some of the doors and ring cameras on multiple rooms.

Cable didn’t work and there was someone’s leftover food in the microwave still so that was definitely a surprise. Area was okay and a decent place to be if you just need a cheap place for the night.

The rooms did look like it had been repainted and had new overhead lighting but no side lamps, shower curtain was held on by zip ties, shower itself was dirty with a very noisy tub spout, and it took several hours to cool the room. The plus was the very friendly staff and the availability for three rooms, but I personally won’t stay here again and unless the rooms come way down in pricing I wouldn’t recommend this hotel until it’s had some serious renovation done.

This is an old Property. Parking is easy. If you are okay with the old type of stay. This is good option. Breakfast is decent. And I enjoyed free Wi-Fi.

The pool wasn't working, but that wasn't an issue for us. Based on the previous reviews I knew the pool wouldn't be working. We got into our room, and it smelled like cheap beer, the floor next to the bed was sticky. My husband hates cheap hotels, so I really had to convince him that this one was nice. Some reviews complained about the bathroom door not closing, you had to push it hard to close. My biggest issue was the used coffee still in the coffee maker, the giant spider that was crawling on the floor, and the cheap beer smell every time you opened the door. Not sure how picky you are, but housekeeping never came around, which is also concerning because it makes me wonder if the beds are even clean...the room wasn't... The air works GREAT in 112!!! The pool was a literal cesspool with dark green and black water with broken fence pieces, broken rusty ACs, rusty shopping carts and trash all around it. Our room didn’t come with half the amenities listed and when we went to ask for them we were turned down. The wifi wasn't working either night. Super limited parking. Breakfast was 1 limited waffles machine, bran cereal and empty coffee pots. Toilet paper holder was not properly attached to wall. Housekeeping was not available during stay. It's a decent motel for a last minute place to lay your head. The fridge worked well.

Nice, older hotel fairly close to the bay. Although the room was clean, it had a lingering smell of cigarette smoke. There were several cigarette holes in the sheets and blanket as well. There was an aquarium in the lobby that was quite entertaining. The pool was out of commission during our stay.

The place is in desperate need of an update. Currently the doors to the rooms do not look like they could do the job adequately. Bathrooms are in rough shape. Most importantly, people outside through out the night. I will not be back at this location.

This hotel is run down, the tub had mold, the sink was plugged up, the room smelled like a full bottles of air freshener too much. I canceled and only stayed there one night because we were exhausted from a 15 hour drive. The swimming pool was not in working condition, which is something that was not indicated when I booked for 4 nights. The best part of this experience is that the receptionist and the manager were very nice and professional. What I have learned from this experience is that I will never trust online booking again. The online pictures and descriptions of this hotel were not a true description of the condition of the hotel.

The best part of this experience is that the receptionist and the manager were very nice and professional. What I have learned from this experience is that I will never trust online booking again. The online pictures and descriptions of this hotel were not a true description of the condition of the hotel.

This was by far the worst place we had ever stayed. The pool was not working, there was no way to use the supposed office area, as it was out of order as well. Then there was the room. No phone, asked for one and was told very few rooms actually phones. The bathroom door was hanging on one hinge, to open and close the door we had to use our tools to screw the door up and attach to hinges. The tub hadnt been cleaned as it had hair and dirt in it. The same with sink area,which when the lights went out the roaches came out. The breakfast was a few bananas, waffel makes, stale cereal and hard break.oh n coffee n juice. Ive paid less and had a way better experience. Ohhh i forgot the prostitutes looking for tricks approached my whole family. I think i threw up in my mourh. And the drugs being sold at this place i suppose was an added perk if you were being entertained by the prostitutes.

Room 107 was very dirty strong smell then we moved to 207 little better but no phone or alarm work pool close very tiny breakfast was horrible.

a)The AC was not cooling continuously even though I kept the mode as "Cool" and switched the fan mode as " High"..It kept going off a few minutes and then coming back on..Looks like they tweaked thr machine. b).The breakfadt timing could have been increased to 10 AM.

Room stunk, limited bed clothes, mold along sink, no breakfast as advertised, pool in complete disrepair filled with garbage and a foot and a half of dirty rain water. Still haven’t gotten refund!!!!

Ice machine was not working and the bed was lumpy. The remote to the TV was missing but they had a replacement at the front desk.

The Hotel looked abandoned and had an ugly smell. Roaches coming out & restroom was rusted & mold in ceiling ugly hotel . Outside looks ugly & downgraded. Never again a super 8 👎

Asked for another room second night and was just as bad if not worse. Hotel needs a health inspection and should not be in operation.

Booked a room (through Expedia) with a description that said King Bed (Sleeps 4) which usually means there is a sleeper sofa in the room. Got to the room, checked in, went & grabbed dinner & came back to the room. There is a KING bed but no sleeper. Lady at front desk told me she did have a room like that but I'd have to pay extra for it, so she showed it to me, room was disgusting.. Musty/Moldy smell, big stain on the sleeper sofa which was big enough for 1 of the kids not 2. Called Expedia & got a refund & when somewhere else.

Good as usual. My main problem has always been waiting for hot water. Not this time! It was hot and hot quickly. As always the staff was great!

I was very upset due to the fact the staff wasn't friendly. The room was not very clean and we found bed bugs in the bed.

I have stayed here several times. Good for the price. A little noisy because of location. Coffee pot in my room didn't work. Overall is good, no frills place to stay.

Upon arrival, the first thing I find out is that the ice maker is broken. Upon entering the room, there was a musty smell. The telephone did not work, and you could not set the alarm clock. The bed was very uncomfortable. The restroom, shower, and linens were all very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The overall cost was $50 less than the Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn across the street.

Never in my life have stayed in a hotel this badly maintained. Smelly, dirty, air conditioning noisy, pool disgustingly green and furniture totally messed up. It's sad that a hotel chain like Super 8 and Wyndham would let a hotel be such a disaster, only thing all right was nice people

Upon going into hotel room, the phone did not work, the remote control needed batteries, and the toilet was clogged! Needless to say it was a bad trip regarding our hotel stay.

This property was very run down. Had mold growing up the walls. I will never book this hotel again.

Man at the front desk was very nice and even allowed a late check out until 1 pm.

Chose this hotel cause of the price. Room was good, clean, and staff was helpful. Located 10 mins from the Corpus bay, & about 25 from N Parde Island.
