The pictures online or deceiving we reached the hotel and it was disgusting. It had smelled like mold and well there was mold and we went to the front to see if we can get another room. He was said no the pool wasn’t even working and then we had our stuff stolen. It was a very horrible experience.

Worst place ever to stay! People kept banging the door in the middle of the night trying to get into the room! I had my 2 little kids and wife with me and they were scared to the point where we told the front desk lady that we are just going to leave because we don’t feel safe. She then apologized and said she can move us into another room to make us feel safe. So we ended up moving to another room and informed the owner early morning that we were up all night and even had to move rooms. In the end he didn’t do anything about it I’m not the one to complain to get discounts but I think me and family deserved a little somthing and not be charged full price. Overall rooms were super dirty it smelled like cigarettes and weed would not recommend this place to anyone especially if you go with children

The price was amazing, staff was super nice, very basic but just needed a place to shower & sleep so it worked well!

Listing is NOT accurate. Rooms are dirty and moldy, and they will not refund you. The attendant was very understanding but the manager is not. We were shown 3 different rooms- all 3 had fruit fly infestations, dirty floors, and black mold around all 3 bathrooms. The grounds were littered with trash and the pool had a strong, pungent odor that was unavoidable.

This hotel is only fit for homeless people or street activities.

Breakfast wasn't good. No protein. There was loud noise from a night club next door that shares the same parking lot. People with loud bass speakers in their cars so loud it shook the windows. I was worried the towels and wash cloths weren't clean. They may have been, but they were badly stained. The same was true of the sheets.

My water was running for hours in the tub. They came to fix it and once we took a shower it broke again. We didn’t bother to call them. I asked for towels. Took hours as well to get someone to bring them. The breakfast was just toast bagels and jelly. And a gallon of juice. Phones don’t work in the room. And they need came to clean the room.

Unless you dont have the extra money dont stay here...dirty , smells bad , dirty towels it was horrible

The bathroom was disgusting. Dirty towels were in a pile next to the toilet. There were bugs everywhere. The tub was so dirty. The toilet had crap in it. It was just gross. I ended up just leaving.

Very terrible experience, I checked in at front desk around 10pm. No A/C was working in the lobby, felt humid with nats flying around. When I arrived at my room more disgusted mirowave dirty with no plate, beds dirty sheets and covers, pulled back sheets and found a huge stain on mattress. Also broken lamp in between beds. When back to front desk and left the place. Not a safe place to stay.

The room at Palm Bliss Hotel in Corpus Christi was filthy and unsafe. As soon as I walked in, I noticed serious problems. There were roaches in the room, cigarette butts and trash left behind, and even syringe tops/drug paraphernalia. There was also exposed electrical wiring, which is a serious safety hazard. The bedding was even worse. When I checked under the duvet there were bed bugs, spiders, and flies inside the sheets. It was completely disgusting and clearly had not been cleaned properly. These conditions made the room completely uninhabitable and unsafe, so I had no choice but to check out immediately. No guest should ever have to deal with this level of filth or safety risk. I strongly recommend avoiding this property.

Horrible advertisement take this as your review if your booking based off pictures it is completely different and poorly managed nothing works RR tv locks on both doors conjoined room manager will say all rooms are fine so that once you check in you can’t get a refund. People lingering outside like a apartment living save your time and money

The “breakfast” was toast and a bagel. My room TV was broken and they tried to say I did it but the day I checked in I took a picture and went and showed the staff all he say was Ok and the next morning they was trying to hold $50 deposit

Booked a non smoking room, found a used cigarette next to TV stand, trash has uncleaned vomit, Not cleaned room, super dirty bathroom smell, toilet seat not assigned properly, closet hangers too old dust smell and spiders, my kids didn't sleep at all, TV not working and no remote. Non refundable after long drive, wanted to sleep, but wasted every penny. Worst experience

Room was dusty and smelled like smoke even though it was smoke free. Blankets were torn, pillows smelled like mildew, not enough towels. Crazy guy yelling at 4am who was a weekly resident

Everything was decent but my only complaint is there was no way to turn on the tv either the remote gave up or no batteries and the tv itself didn't have a button on the bottom to turn on

Front lady was very nice, but the room was terrible. Not clean at all. Bed halfass tucked under don’t know if it’s been cleaned in a while. Coffee stains with actual coffee on tables and dirty toilet. Dirty everything.

This hotel is disgusting. The toilet was clogged from who ever stayed there before. The room smelled musty. There was mold on the ceiling. You could tell the room hadn’t been cleaned. The floor was dirty. The bed comforter had holes in it. The elevator did not work. I lost my money because I refused to stay there and they wouldn’t give me my money back. This has to be the absolute worst hotel. I thought it was unsanitary and took the loss because I wasn’t staying there.

Cost of getting cash from card $15 in fees only to have them keep our deposit when we checked out for pet hair on the floor and claiming we smoked in a non smoking room. I had the police get involved to help get our deposit that was blatantly stolen. We needed accommodations for 2 nights, having only $150 to do so, including food, and now we're unable get another room for today.

Hair dryer did not work. Coffe maker did not work. The Tv did work nor the the screen function clearly. It looked like it had been drop. A/C BARELY kept room cooled. I was too tired to even complaint anymore. Just wanted to sleep get some rest from a long day from a funeral. Will not recommend nor will i ever stay here again. And if i wanted a better room on the first floor i had to pay more extra than what i was paying for in the first place. Do not was waste your time or money. No breakfast just basic coffe and cold pastry no hot breakfast no cereal offered. Pictures did not match website. No ice machines worked on property. Booked a room last second, walked in the room and right off the back their was roaches under the pillow and on the doorway wall. Room smelled like urine. Front desk even had to apologize after going to look for themselves. Disgusting and im hoping for my refund because i had to pay for another hotel.

We found a dead bed bug on the door frame and mold in the bathtub. The room was still dirty from the night before with sand still on the floors. We got our refund from expedia but We never got our deposit back. Trashy hotel.

Check in, when we arrived no one was in office had to call and wait for front desk employee to come which took 5 minutes, it was awkward and the reception area was in array and dirty, it was about midnight when we arrived into town 2. We get to room, none of the light switches worked in the room had to turn on bathroom light, the room had not been cleaned there was still mop bucket and cleaning supplies in room. Sand clumps everywhere on floor, terrible smell of mildew, bathtub had a half used bar of soap 3. We returned back to front office to request another room, employee was not in office, this time we waited 15 minutes for someone to help us. In the meantime another couple walked in under the influence and I did not feel secure , they proced to call number at desk to request and employee to come to desk and then another 3rd person waiting in lobby, no employees to help 4. We make it to 2nd room by 1:30 am after all is said and done. Room smelt very strong of mold and mildew i had to spray air freshener within 2 minutes of my arrival in room because it smelled so bad, surfaces where sticky, bedding had stains, did not smell clean, and we itched all night in the bed , in moring we discovered black stuff growing on ceiling and walls, fridge was broken and our food we put In there went and spoiled. Rooms were clean, but multiple outlets didn’t work. Key card didn’t work every time we left the room had to go to lobby multiple times to get it fixed. AC doesn’t really blow the coldest and being down south in corpus you need the ac.

Our stay was ok we paid $12.00 more for a room that has a microwave and fridge. Tv didn’t work well had to be constantly moving the wire in the back for it to work, toilet was dirty, room card didn’t work had to go to office to get a new one, ice machines were broken, some furniture was dusty.

Our stay was ok we paid $12.00 more for a room that has a microwave and fridge. Tv didn’t work well had to be constantly moving the wire in the back for it to work, toilet was dirty, room card didn’t work had to go to office to get a new one, ice machines were broken, some furniture was dusty.

And the manager always respond that they take complaints seriously and will look into it but all they do is laugh at the complaints. but like I said I do work for many hotels in San Antonio and many hotel owners from India take pride in their hotels, but then you have owners like these that actually don’t care at all about their hotels and that’s why hotel chains remove their names from their properties this use to be

The breakfast is a joke . The manager's lied right to my face eggs and bacon . There was bread and water . The front lobby wah sand in front wwhen i walked in . They said we charge for sand . 250$ then i ask what if there's sand in the room already he said there no sand i found sand in every corner of my rooms i booked 2 . Room had roaches and the towels were dirty. They also charged 59$ deposits up front . I was real 💯 percent disappointed in the room and services dont go

It was missing blankets towels and no one ever came to get the dirty towels or give clean ones I had to get them myself. The so called continental breakfast was stale wheat bread and wheat bagels. Spray on butter at that. We had to bag our garbage because no one came to empty it. They were charging $250 If you brought sand in which it wouldn’t have made a difference. The floor was even vacuumed to begin in. Will not be staying there again

This property was terrible. When we got there my daughter saw a mouse. When we got into the room there was a hole and a vent that was not covered. There was a lot of roaches everywhere crawling by the fridge, draws, walls, on the headboard of the bed and in the shower there was bugs. It was a horrible experience we got there and left right away. We asked for a refund and I was told that we needed to contact Expedia. So now we are waiting for a response for that. It was not in our agreement that there would have been rodents or roaches.

Would not provide me with a receipt due to booking with expedia.They charge more to be on 2nd/1st floor. A/C was loud and barely cooled. Room smelled, toilet and bath tub clogged up. Only 1 light fixture worked, was really dim. Comforters were stained and there was sand in the beds. They Did not come and clean the room once during our stay. Smallest trash can present too, only provided with 2 towels for 4 people. They smelled and had stains, not sure if they were actually clean. $50 holding fee for sand in the room is ridiculous. Checked in early and paid fee while we waited for our second room to be available. Upon entering the restroom in the room it smelled and when my children wanted to shower and turned on the water it immediately started filling up and pubic hair started floating out. There was pubic and regular hair around the tub. Front desk was notified and we asked if we could have another room, they sent maintenance instead. They cleared the drain but when they tried flushing the hairs down the toilet..the toilet didn’t work. Checked out 45mins max after early check in (30 mins in which maintenance was still attempting to fix the issues while we got our stuff). No additional cleaning was done to the tub, the odor was “fixed” by spraying chemicals around the restroom. Went to check out and that’s when they offered to swap rooms but we were already on edge. DO NOT STAY HERE! Pay the extra money to stay elsewhere. Facility and amenities aren’t as described.

It was awful and it’s dirty. I checked at the desk, that was fine when I got to the room I did notice right away that the bathroom door was broken and there was no smoke alarm. But honestly I just needed a clean room to sleep in and shower. Got to the room late at night so I just went to sleep. When I went to shower in the morning is when I noticed everything wrong with the room. There was blood on the bathroom curtain , the trash can was dirty, the floor was dirty. My feet turn black just from walking around in the morning with no shoes on. Once I noticed how dirty it was I went to the office to complain and the front desk said there was nothing they could do about it until a manger got there this was around 8AM. I checked in at 12:30AM. I was told the manger was going to be in at 10:30 but he wasn’t , I went back at 10:45 (I left right after to get breakfast somewhere else) he wasn’t there and I told them to give me a call and they didn’t. I finally called back at 3:30PM once I was done doing what I did for the day. He basically said I shouldn’t expect much because of the rates. I’ve been to PLENTY of cheap motels and fancy hotels and I don’t care about the small stuff but being clean is another story. I expect clean even if it cost 5$ because that’s a hazard for it not to be. I asked if I could get a refund or even partial refund because I did stay. He said no. And he’d give me a discount the next time I visit…. Why would I ever come back?

Bathroom was falling apart. Shower curtains have mold. Towels are filthy and stank like food. Room had a moldy smell to it. Horrible place all together nothing like the pictures. It’s shocking that a property in this state is even listed on your platform. The hygiene is nonexistent—there were cockroaches everywhere, no mattress covers (just a thin sheet), dirty bathroom, filthy mirror, and stained sheets. The entire place was unacceptable and should be inspected by health authorities. Truly a terrible experience. Avoid at all costs.

Dirty room .

Then came the real highlight. A little after 10 pm, I watched a woman get thrown from a moving car right in the parking lot. She hit the ground and started screaming loudly. No staff came out. No one seemed to care. It was like this sort of thing was just business as usual. There were only three towels in the room, which at any other hotel might be a small annoyance. But here, it felt like one more reminder that nothing was being taken care of. The walls looked like they were growing something, and I am pretty sure it was black mold. With the amount of moisture in the air, I would honestly be more shocked if it wasn't mold. I thought about asking for a refund, but I was only staying for the night. And honestly, I figured they probably needed the money more than I did, hopefully to fix at least one of the dozens of problems this place clearly has. This wasn’t just a bad stay. It was stressful, unsafe, and deeply unsettling. I would not recommend this hotel from hell to anyone. Ever.

Wiped our feet off on the way out. Non smoking room that has cigarette burns in the tub. The same tub that drains slower than the check-in. One washcloth. The towel quality falls into rag category. The ends of the shower curtain are missing rod attachments. The floors going to get wet. There are scuff marks on the toilet seat and tub. I had to make sure they were from shoes, IF you know what I mean. I believe there’s another charge for having to clean sand patrons left behind. I don’t know if they charged the previous occupants of this room but they could have done a better job cleaning up the sand. And hair. No fridge if you book 3rd party. They will upgrade for a fee. Late check out is 1pm (2 additional hours) for $25. Shower is weak but there’s hot water. Grounds are in a word, nasty. Butts and stains (not butt stains) on all paths. AC sounds like a door opening when it shuts off. Noisy outside. Plus’s: AC works fine, thank God. Facing S Padre Island Dr - traffic noise in the room is tolerable. Easy on/off access. Other patrons appeared to have a wonderful pool time. Walking distance to various restaurants. Religious tolerant with a Gideon Bible and a book titled Bhagavad Gita. So, compared to competitors pricing, you get what you get for under 90 bucks. Lesson learned: just pay the extra $40 for better amenities and accommodations up the street.

The picture look nothing like what the hotel looks like, the walls were written on, there were roaches in the rooms, it had a bad smell. I went to the office to see what another room looked like and it was the same. The restroom was dirty, there were no towels, and again looked nothing like what I saw in the pictures online. Very sketchy. So I told the office we were not happy, I asked for my refund and they refused to give me my money back cause I booked thru Expedia. We left, went to stay elsewhere! I called Expedia and they said they could refund me but the hotel manager refused to approve my refund, which I'm not sure why IF WE DID NOT STAY THERE!!! I spoke to one of the front desk guys and he asked if I took pictures of the room lol I explained I didn't have time I just wanted to get out of that room with how nasty it was! Do not book here!!

Room were very clean. Probably because of the sign in lobby that said no sand in room or will be charged 200 for damages. Staff in the lobby was nice. There was a little scuffle in the parking lot but cops responded very quickly. Which is great. Other than that everything was well.

Got there around 4:30/5pm and no one was at the front desk. Had to call a number on a sign to ask for someone to come check us in. Got to the room and immediately had a moldy smell. Sure enough the drawers had mold and some of the baseboards had mold. The closet doors had black stuff all over them and I had to wipe the doors down but still didn’t feel comfortable enough to put our clothes in there. TV was broken and one lamp had a flickering light bulb. One of the bedside tables was sticky like a drink spilled there and I had to wipe that down. We found a receipt from February so I think that shows how often the room is truly cleaned. Also our mini fridge started leaking brown stuff and my husband had to clean it up. The towels they offered had marks on them like they got rinsed instead of washed. Small bugs were dead in corners of the room. Only good thing was how big the bed was but then again, we couldn’t sleep very well cause at that point, who knows how often the sheets get changed. We didn’t even get in the pool cause it looks like no one ever uses it and the water looked foggy :/ I hate to leave a bad review but for $160 for two nights, I expected better and the pictures on their website are very deceiving. I wouldn’t recommend and hope they can at least improve on their cleanliness.

DISGUSTING. Was put here as a relocation due to Hotels.com messing up my original reservation. Get to the property and it’s dirty, trash everywhere. Walk in to check in and wait in line I answer a phone call only for the manager to tell me to keep my voice down! Get to the room there’s mold everywhere , roaches galore, the tub and toilet had mold and were filthy. There was poop smeared on the door! Box springs with mold and ripped. I slept in my car. OVER MY DEAD BODY WOULD I EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! I don’t know how they’re in business. -000000000000000000

This room was absolutely disgusting, my family and I booked a room at the Balm bliss Hotel in Corpus Christi Tx , when we get to the room it was completely disgusting it smelled horrible there was BLOOD STAINS on the bed sheets all over like if someone had been killed there ! There was roaches everywhere infested the lights had been ripped out if the walls the only lighting we had was 1 small dim lamp , when we brought the condition of the room to the front desk they simply said “ we don’t upkeep with the smoking rooms” which is completely outrageous because the room had complementary soaps and folded white towels that had cigarette stains on them ! As if someone had just been in there to make it appear nice but completely ignored the BIO hazards on the bed sheets and the infestation of roaches ! DO NOT EVERY STAY HERE ! 465$ lost just like that my family and I didn’t even end up staying at this hotel we left ! We did not want to be in this room any longer it was so disgusting absolutely disappointed with the hotel staff and the condition of there rooms !

We checked in about 20 minutes early so they told us to wait while they changed out the batteries to the door lock. When we went in the first thing I ever do is pull back the comforters and sheets. On our bed there was a quarter and a pill. As if the previous tenants left it there. They did come back to change our bedding. We couldn’t cancel because all rooms in that city were booked or way overpriced.

Table in room had a broken leg, bath tub was dirty and had a bunch of stains, mirror was not cleaned it was just sprayed and allowed for blochy stains, one closet door handle is missing, bed sheets had what looked like dried blood on them - staff didnt look concerned when told ; they just replaced them for me and thats it... Plumbing under sink is not properly installed, worried it will leak and will be blamed for this Only bright side to this room was the beds are comfortable... Dont recommend this hotel

Overpriced, the room had no mini fridge or microwave, none of the 3 ice machines where working and there was no WiFi so the tv didn’t work.. this hotel definitely needs an update

The property was in terribly horrible condition. That place needs to be demolished. Roaching crawling in the lobby at check in, then as i walked to the assigned room the stairway was completely torn apart i was scared it was gonna collapse. Then i get to the room and the floor had water all over it and smelled of mold. I followed to see where the water was coming from and i could not tell but i did see the wall along the bottom was full of mold. We immediately exited the room and went to the get our money back only to find out we weren't the only people complaining about the same issues. Money was never returned because we booked thru you guys (expedia). Never will i book thru you again, lesson learned.

Horrible beds, super dirty everywhere we found a live roach under the linen on the bed, remote control had dry food on the buttons, 2 of the lamps disnt work, toilet was broken and missing the top on the tank, mirrors were sticky and blurry dirty, spider webs on th le corners and hair on the floor everywhere i could probably keep going.

I should have read the reviews before I booked this place. It's true if you want to check in before 4pm they will charge you$25. If you want a room with a microwave (dirty)and mini fridge that barley keeps cold they charge $20. They will also charge a $50 temporary hold fee in case you mess up the room. The bed is questionable, the pillow are awful, the tub is old has has long lasting stains, the ceiling had a red stain almost like blood color, there is NO working elevator, there is no real Continental breakfast in the morning. I definitely will never book here again.

Bugs, broken fridge, high pitch AC that didn't really cool the room, smelt terrible (had to buy air freshener), will not be back.

It was dirty.. limited toilet paper ? And the towels were dirty.

Rooms were very dirty. Mold in the room and restroom. Stains and mildew on the comforter and curtains, and floor. TV and some lights did not work. Property is dirty. At night, the people from the club next door fill up the parking lot and guest have to park at end of property. We moved rooms and it was still in the same condition.

I was charged $15 a night for a room I had not checked into yet then charge early check-in fees for it and wasn't checked into it yet because I wanted a smoking room instead of a smoking room. And we could not get our money back because it was non-refundable
