She gave us the basic room due to us booking thru Hotel.com , even though I told her my husband is disabled. No fridge, no microwave, no housekeeping for 2 days. We found a roach above our bed frame, mosquitoes and spider eggs in the bathroom. Front desk did not have a bug killer but offered an upstairs room having in mind the disability of my husband. We bought bug killer ourselves and sprayed. After the smell went away the air conditioner air smelled like urine. The property is bad. Dirty and there is cig butts all around. Trash cans are so dirty i was afraid to touch anything. Doors we dirty. I have booked before and they have been nice enough to accommodate my husband’s disability. I will try my best to book something more expensive if that is what it takes to get a better place.

Only thing convenient was that it was by the beach & the price. You get what you pay for is all I got to say.

Nothing! We were there 5 mins and left, dead flies on the floor, dry blood on the toilet , a bug on one of the beds and what looked to be pesticide granules on the floor, and I have pets we left quickly The filth!

To come to the desk for me to check in. I don’t mind, but then I saw the room. One bed had blood on both blankets and pubic hair on the sheets. The other bed had insects crawling on top. Two Roaches were spotted crawling on the wall. The three children I travels with literally slept on top of their suitcases. If I had more money why and was t exhausted from driving 9 hours, we would have left. I seriously considered sleeping in the truck. Of note: no deposit required.

I had to cancel my second night I couldn't bare to stay a second night.

Only stayed one night left and now nobody want to charge me a cancellation fee and for the only the one night I stay Holiday inn is saying it has to come from y'all and y'all are saying it has to come from you absolutely disgraceful The man checking in was unprofessional the shower had mold in it and was also broken and when I left after the first night I asked the gentleman working if he would make sure that write a note and to let them know that I was leaving and I wouldn't be staying the rest of the days and after I went back up there to talk to a different lady working he had not done any of those things and the manager was unavailable

The staff is amazing!!!I stay here a few days a month for a fishing sleep spot and it more than serves its purpose!! DJ and Alicia are the best!!

The place is quiet at night. Now for service I ask for towels since there was no bath towels to lady cleaning room but never brought them my family had to use the hand towels.

The location and all the cute cats that hang around. The staff, the motel itself. Beds were extremely uncomfortable, there was mildew/mold in the AC making the room smell, the bathroom door was broken, walls were dirty, fixtures dusty. After a 23hr drive I was told at check in that there was no hot water. The worker offered to let us stay the night and we would receive a full refund for the inconvenience. Mentioned at checkout the next morning and the staff were incredibly rude and not wanting to help. I do not recommend this motel. Stay any where else if possible.

Nothing but location . What I didn’t like about the property was that it was nothing like advertised when I pulled up. There was prostitutes drug addicts, homeless people all around there it was just nasty. The first room we got was disgusting. Smelling door wouldn’t even shut to lock.

The morning attendant was nice and helped me get the name of the previous evening attendant for my complaint, though I was not provided a proper way to make a complaint; the phone number I was given was to Expedia.com and I booked here on Booking.com and I had asked the number to Motel 6 customer service or the corporate office. I did not like asking to see the terms and condition screen that the attendant skipped for me then having my initials forged by them on the acceptance of the terms and agreement instead! Then they printed out the terms and condition screen where they had signed it for me! I also did not like being told I could go somewhere else when I showed the slightest bit of frustration that they skipped my screen for terms and could not get back to it. I did not like being told that there was no "corporate" office that the motel was not "like that". I know that being a Motel 6, they have to "keep the light on for ya!" and all the other requirements they have to meet to carry the franchise name!

I like how they have ice/vending machines and the location where it’s at. There was mold on the curtains, it was very hot, the ac didn’t work properly, it smelled, the shower was super dirty, no coffee maker in room or in off like advertised, and the microwave is in the lobby.

Everything was excellent, beds smelled like home, AC new unit. Definitely will come back and highly recommend. 5 stars

Nothing, this was a filthy, nasty place to stay. We arrived late from a 10 hour day of travel and just wanted to lay down. The next morning the hot water was out so we were not able to take showers. Dead bugs in room corners. Ugh!

It was a comfortable room, they were no handicap or rooms available on the bottom floor and it was hard walking upstairs. I think they should clean the air conditioner filter daily , they were very dirty . A lot of the heaters /the room doesn’t work (and its been cold lately) so they cant rent out the rooms when that happens. Staff has been professional and accommodating. There is NO CAMERAS/SECURITY so oark at your own risk the office says. No ammenenties. Bldg is OLD.

Parking easy. Well lighted next to rooms, but not at fences or periphery. The grounds need more consistent upkeep--picking up debris, small trash (especially cigarette butts) especially on stairs. AC units are noisy. I imagine maintenance of over 50 units is difficult in a highly humid environment, so I don't complain while on site. Rooms are clean, bathroom/shower in good condition. But crickets began to appear somewhat later in my stay. The staff is great, always helpful and easy to work with. Lastly I would recommend a better wifi system. It seemed I had to renew login daily, both phone and laptop, over a several day stay. Again no complaints during my stay, I imagine how difficult it would be to keep wifi traffic under control.

The room I stayed in the air conditioner didn't cool properly. The shower was dirty. The walls were dirty like someone had a dog and they scratched at the door. The pillows were flat. I have stayed here many times before and this is the worst experience Ive had.

The hotel receptionist (female) was sweet and attentive. The male receptionist’s were not. The hotel is clean, but needs a lot of attention. Overall good for the stay.

The pet accommodations were fine they didn't hassle us at all. The floor in the room was pretty dirty when we got there and I saw a cockroach in the bathroom. The plug-ins by the bed didn't work for our phones. The parking lot area was filthy probably pay somebody to go out there at least once a month and clean up the garbage. It was very convenient to go out to Padre Island. The location wasn't bad at all easy to find easy to get to. overall it wasn't bad except for the cockroach in the bathroom that was a little bit unnerving

This hotel is unclean and unsafe and have had many issues. I dont recommend this place at all. Deceitful front desk. Also, many druy addicts around and i believe this hotel has homeless people put their up by the state for the night.

Whatever you do do not go by the picture featuring this motel. For starters, the staff was not very welcoming when we arrived. When we got to the room, the room was not that clean. When we turned on the TV, the screen was damaged so we were unable to see TV. When the TV issue was addressed they offered me a smoking room but due to asthma I had to decline. Furthermore, when checking out I spoke to them again about the TV & was told that they might have to charge me for the damages on the TV even though we didn’t damage it. So whatever you do, don’t stay here at this location.

I get the part of you get for what you paid for but the first room we got, the shower was not clean and the AC was not working. I asked for a switch in room and we did get it but then in that room the tv was broken and there were roaches in the room. I would have asked for a refund or at least another change in room but I felt like I would come off as a complainer or a bad guest.

It was not for another vehicle.was for a person that intentionally bend our left front fender I could not sleep due to all the light getting on sides of curtain. The a/c got wet all the room shoes and clothes.

Parking lot and perimeter grounds were full of trash blown/washed in from highway and two adjacent fields. (Trash cans are available every 10 ft) Location convenient to all stores and food needed as well as parks, piers, and island beaches. Pool was clean. Plenty of hooks and hamgers in room for wet towels and suits. Mini fridge was working right (rare!) Free stay for well behaved dogs was #1 reason to stay, but it was a good overall stay as well.

Our experience was horrible. The room was dirty, including walls and bed sheets. There was also roaches inside the rooms. We booked for price and proximity but was not worth it 😭 we had to leave, request refund and drive a bit farther.

I give this motel a 10 for a 2-star motel! Updated, clean, great service! The bedding was nice and the bed was pretty comfortable. The location was great, close to many things. I wish it was closer to the beach, but I would still stay here again for sure!

Blankets had cigarette burns in a non-smoking room. There is ZERO water pressure in the shower, the AC is either too hot or too cold right by the bed. The people like to honk their horns all night. Some people like to hang out on the stairs and be in your way.

NOT. STAY. HERE. Got here to late to change hotels. Expedia was no help. Motel wouldn't give money back.Furious.

Roaches in the room, wanting guests to pay approximately $8 per day extra to rent a room with a beat up mini refrigerator and a small old microwave, poor internet kept having to reset, in general a rip off at any price. New management in your company seems to want to imitate motels in 3rd world countries, not a decent place to stay like Motel 6 used to be. A cold day in hell is when I will book them again.

These were very, VERY clean rooms. I was impressed. And the service was excellent and professional. My only advice: clean the pool area and repair or replace the broken lounge chairs. Other than that: A-1 excellent.

Terrible stay. The AC was right next to the bed—loud and blowing cold air all night. Room smelled humid and musty. Shower and door area were dirty and moldy (see photos). Curtains didn’t block outside light, making it hard to sleep. Overall, the room felt neglected and unclean. Would not recommend.

For the cost of this hotel, it is definitely not worth it. The front desk staff in the morning was really nice. There were stained sheets in our room that had to be changed out. Just be sure that you check the room before your stay.

Good location! About 10 miles or less from the beach. Room was tidy and clean. The room with the 2 beds, had a table and 2 chairs. Can't beat the price! At night the parking lot was well lit, and although we were close to the freeway it was quiet.

Run down. Checking was nice and easy. Room smelled clean. At sink and saw a roach. Sitting on bed and saw another roach on the wall. Had my grandson kill them when we saw them. YUCK! My daughter saw another one on her side of the bed. We were done, got everyone up and ready to leave early. I will not return.

When I entered the first room, I immediately discovered a live spider crawling inside the bed sheets, I have photographic evidence of this. The mini fridge was broken with exposed insulation, and the room showed clear signs of neglect, including spider webs under the beds, a hole in the wall, and dead insects near the bed. Most concerning, there was also a used shaver left on the nightstand, which is not only unsanitary but also extremely dangerous, especially with children present. I immediately returned to the lobby and spoke with an employee named Nick, who offered to show me two alternate rooms. In the first of those, I found a lock of hair on the made bed, which I showed to him. His response that “sometimes housekeeping doesn’t do a good job and don’t want to clean” was unacceptable and unprofessional. Due to the unsafe and unsanitary conditions, I had no choice but to leave and find alternate accommodations, despite it being 11 pm, for myself and my children, who were exhausted, hungry and cranky by this point. This entire experience was deeply upsetting. Not only were your rooms uninhabitable but the service was unprofessional and rude. I do not recommend staying here ever

Nothing room reaked of mold the moment we entered. Sink had black hairs in it and appeared to have some sort of tomato sauce left on the toilet paper with its triangle fold. Door does not close all the way and i had to ask the front desk to repeat everything. Very difficult to understand

Clean and great customer service

The property was in a good location but there were roaches in the room. It would be nice if they did buy new towels as well. The property would do well with a good cleaning, power washing and paint job.

First off, shower water was way too hot. Also the shower head sprayed directly at the wall and you couldn’t move it so it sprayed at my face or top of my head. Grimey walls and counters, plus roaches behind the fridge and in the tub. Water pressure in sink was crazy strong. Don’t know what I was expecting with a $60 room… when I went to ask for three towels the lady said “can you bring back your old dirty towels when you ask for new ones.” And she handed me only 2 towels.

Mamie was so helpful in finding a good room for me so I wouldn't have to walk too far. Her customer service skills are definitely on point and I will be back.

Room was extremely small. Not enough towels. Water pressure was bad. The light fixtures werent clean. They put the 2 towels we had on a light fixture that wasnt clean. Hand railing on 2nd story was falling off and missing bolts. The lady in the front desk was very nice and helpful. But overall not a good stay at all

I had chosen a none smoking room and walked into a heavy smoking smelly room. The smell of smoke triggered my asthma and I became sick. When we checked out all of our belongings smelled like cigarette smoke and the lingered even in our vehicle. The floors hadn’t been thoroughly swept. There was dirt and rodent droppings around the bed. The was a poop stain on the bathroom wall right next to the toilet paper holder. The bedding and towels were in poor shape and stained. My daughter had come to visit for the Fourth of July weekend and we couldn’t get a good nights sleep due to bedbugs. I’ll never stay there again!

Staff was hospitable and helpful. Room was alright, though the shower was dirty and the sheets had burn holes in them even though it was a non-smoking room.

It was a last minute and the price was great. The room was very crisp cold and she sheets and bedding was cold to the touch! The room was big, clean and new. Bathroom was excellent. Big TV. Coffee in the morning in lobby and vending machines. A pool. And it was really quiet at night.

Inexpensive for a reason. People running around halls until 2 am. Room had plenty of roaches. Sheets stained. But what to expect from a cheap hotel. I’ll spend an extra 20 a night to ho elsewhere next trip down.

People around were sketchy as hell, but overall it was good.

In the room, the AC was hot, the phone didnt work and neither did the tv. Theres something all over the walls. The shower floor was black and there were roaches. There were people bbq in parking lot and using the pool im sure were not staying there.

Well we only sit there one night. The beds were uncomfortable as expected for a Motel 6 bed sheets had some stains on there I didn't even want to look any further cuz I have seen the worst before towels had hair on them but other than that it was decent everything worked meaning the shower and the toilet and the AC ..NO one broke in my truck, that's always a plus. What kind of worried about jet ski would be gone in the morning but it was not was right where I left it

They had roaches smd tge hotel room/restroom was dirty.

The room had the most terrible mold smell and the towels were almost wet from the dampness of the room/bathroom. I had to ask for fresh towels. It was so bad that we checked out a day early. We were kept up by the neighbor playing karaoke till 2 am.

Sketchy place. We did not spend the night. Got a refund and stayed at the aloft hotel instead.

Rented 2 rooms for the night. Our room was somewhat decent. Nothing to complain about just the normal stains on the blankets; otherwise clean. The other room had small roaches and the clean towels had hair all over them. Very unsanitary. If it wasn’t for a last minute trip and it being a holiday weekend (with no room at other places) we would not have stayed.

We entered the room and there was a small bed with 2 pillows and 1 towel in the bathroom. I went to the front and asked for more pillows and another towel and the lady told me they didn’t have any. I told her I booked a room for 2 people if that’s the case can we cancel the booking. She said “let me look, no it’s nonrefundable.” We didn’t even stay, I just had to forfeit my $100.

I love that hotel. Every trip that I make to that city I stay at the same one. They are very friendly and hospitable.

I stayed just one night at this motel 6 and was very disappointed in the room. The floor was sticky and dirty. I checked out of the room to go to a Best Western that was four miles away. When I asked for a return of funds to my account for credit of three nights. They refused because I booked the room through Expedia. I am complaining that this is not right to pay for three nights that I did not stay at this Motel 6. This has me concerned and I might not ever use Expedia to book anything from now on. Please, tell me you will reimburse me for those three nights that I didn’t stay. Thank you!

Easy access and quiet area

I have my own thermometer and hydrometer. It was reading 70º and 80% humidity. That's no one's fault. I'm just including here for reference. The area is very humid. The AC can't dry out the air and maintain a temperature around 76º where I like it so I had to adjust the temp and settings to stay comfortable.

There was a prostitute a few rooms down from us and too many people in and out

Our AC did not work initially but staff was prompt in moving us to a different room. Everything went well until the smoke alarm test went off at 5 am. Other than that, I highly recommend this property for the price.

Don't, Dont, Don't!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS DIRTY LOCATION! This is a horrible inconsiderate individually owned business using the motel 6 trademark! I had a disgusting experience the moment we walked into the room that was reserved! I literally checked in to get the keys and walked in to see all different sized roaches on the floor crawling inside and outside of the microwave and refrigerator and walls! There was large horseflies flying all in the restroom and the room was booked for a two night stay and there was literally ONE rolled towel for me and my husband to share, I assume. This was a damn joke and I was so disgusted so I literally walked right back out to the front desk and talked to Peter and he apologized and let me know that the manager will process a refund and that he will contact me the following day. Never received a call. I had to drive around corpus calling around to see who had vacancy to accommodate me and my husband and everywhere was sold out. I was in disbelief that this was happening to me. Then comes Sunday I called this location and asked for a manager but spoke to Nicole and she stated she was not the manager but that they don’t do refunds and because it was reserved booking they don’t allow that because I paid upfront. Do you know how crazy that sounds, I did not stay in that room not even minutes or nights and they won’t issue a refund and they charged me $255! I’m currently fighting it and need my refund issued as soon as possible!

Price was great for the quality

For the one night stay with our big dog our stay was good.

like it wasnt properly cleaned. There was one towel and 1 pillow. There was a roach in the restroom, the light above the sink wouldnt turn on. The second night i couldnt get into my room. I had to go downstairs to the office 3 times for a key card. Will not return ever again. I would rather spend more for a better friendlier clean place.

No extra pillows available and the two pillows we had were old, thin and packed down hard. It was like sleeping on a folded pair of jeans which resulted in a terrible sleep.

It was a place to stay. People were coming and going all night that just felt sketchy. Lots of door banging and quite a bit of yelling into the parking lot at 2:00M from rooms. Caught many people "hanging out" on the back of my truck. Pretending to have a chat and looking around to see what was in the back. I opened the room door and told a guy to move along, he told me it was "his truck" and to mind my own business. So I set the alarms off with my fob and he said some inappropriate things and let me know what type of physical altercations he would like to get into with me whilst he walked away. I visit Corpus a lot. My regular hotel decided to sell themselves as a time share. I will not be staying at this hotel again. The conditions of the room were as you would expect at this price. I just needed a place for about 5 hours prior to a fishing trip.

Can say it’s a good stay for what it cost you bet your eating out tonight or wake up with your cash like if the stay just got left out on ur trip

My family and I have used this motel 6 in corpus christi near osobay for years but this recent experience.... was not good. There were a lot of roaches in the room we stayed in. Booked 2 night first night there were no roaches but the following morning they were all over the restroom. I made a complaint and was questioned why i didn't tell the front desk sooner even though it just happened the following morning. I requested a refund which they could do but since i payed the reservation in cash they apparently have to refund me cash and this morning there was no cash. The room cost 90 dollars so wasnt going to leave without it. They said the only thing to do was wait till cash came in. I had to wait till 3 in the afternoon for them to get my 90 dollars. It wasn't good experience and i dont think i will be staying there ever again.

I Love this Motel6 because its so close to the beach and quick access to fishing peers, why spend all this money on a Hotel when your not even going to be there, so this is your best bang for your buck quick easy and clean and pet friendly and is my go to when I visit Corpus. I will continue to stay here.

There was a few roaches in the room. The swimming pool was not clean, build up green algae in the filters and along the walls caked on dirt. There was chlorine tablets in the pool, but those tablets do not scrub off the dirtiness.

It was good besides the fact that the entire motel was empty but we were put next to loud junkies with loud trucks and motorcycles to many people hanging around the property at night all times of the hours!

Less than 2 miles and 5 minutes from the ocean this Motel 6 has been updated and was very clean upon our arrival. We would stay there again.

Didn't like anything about it. Air conditioner barely worked, had roaches in the room. Stayed three days and room never got serviced.

Check in with employee Mamie was excellent. Room as expected except for upgrade to mattress. No maid service. Worst off all was the parking. The slots in front of my room 102 and 101 were taken up by a Ford Bronco taking up 2 parking slots making it difficult to load and unload my stuff. 2 clerks not Mamie said they couldn’t do anything. So I will not stay there again. Clerk should have towed the car for taking up parking spaces. I paid the same as them yet I have to deal with poor handling of situation
