Room smelled like mildew. Floor was wet from ac leaking. Let management know and wasn’t able to get a replacement room till a day later. Horrible having to stay the night with that smell.

This is my second time staying here, the place is clean for the most part, simple breakfast but they do have an excellent barista coffee machine at the lobby, the place could definitely use an upgrade with the carpet and bed frames because they seemed old and since they’re fabric material can catch a lot of dust, I felt it this last time I was there making it hard to sleep due to my allergies. Staff was helpful, they provided a new microwave in the room after I pointed out that the one in the wall was rusty from inside which honestly could have been a fire hazard. But they handled it very well and were really helpful. It’s hard to find other decent places in the area for this price so I’ll probably stay here again. Pet friendly and has good amenities, everything you need in a room also cooking utensils. Electric charger for EV vehicles and a pool!

I booked this hotel by accident! It’s not in South Padre! That’s just the name of the street! South Padre is 2:55 hrs away. For the location it’s clean and convenient to the highway. I didn’t know they accept pets so it was very noisy with the barking and children while I was there. I do not like waking up to barking and loud kids! I seen other reviews about how good the breakfast was and I didn’t experience that. It’s the same old continental breakfast everyone serves! I guess it’s something if you’re hungry!

Stayed for 12 nights. I only had one issue file I was there and the staff very quickly fixed the problem. Two ladies at the front desk went above and beyond every time I spoke to them, very pleasant. Would stay again.

This location is always great, but I wish their pet fees were lower. $40 a day per pet adds up quick.

Staying at hotel was a pleasant experience. Clean rooms, kitchenette with all necessities pots, pans, cooking utensils, freezer and refrigerator, stove top, sink, dish soap, scrub pad, bathroom has shampoo conditioner body wash lotion hand wash towels blow dryer, iron ironing board, safe, cold ac, good water pressure, comfortable beds blankets sheets pillows. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, so many options and you eat as much as you want: sausage, eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, coffee, yogurt machine with all fixings, waffle makers, tea, cereal, muffins, everything so good!

It had everything you could need, including pots, pans, silverware, cutting board, etc. Everything was very clean from the lobby to the room. The staff was friendly. The bed was like a rock, so it wasn't the most comfortable, but the sheets were clean & pillows were comfy. The breakfast was decent. If we had gotten there closer to the beginning or end of breakfast, I'm sure it would've been fresher, so overall it wasn't terrible.

Always enjoy staying here when I visit my college student. It is the one hotel that doesn't feel muggy in the room! It's always clean and everyone is friendly.

So the only issue was there wasnt really a chair like a recliner in the room, just a che' lounge, but with a bad back wasnt doable so i just sat on the bed for tv or reading. Other than that, great place and staff.

We enjoyed our stay at the Executive Residency by Best Western Corpus Christi. The room was clean and and the bed was comfortable. The property was clean and well maintained.

considering the environment the hotel is located in, it is a good place to stay. It's not easy to keep things nice in harsh environments. I believe the Excellent rating I saw when Travelocity was recommending hotels in the area was over-rated. I would give it a Great rating, but definitely not an Excellent rating. There was plenty of focus on maintaining the condition of the front of the building, but the back of the building, where we entered/exited could of been mistaken for a truck stop...2 star at most in this area. This is a good hotel, with a good staff, and nothing wrong with the breakfast. The gym is nice, and my room was clean and nice, it just wasn't Excellent quality.....tho I'm sure it was when it was new. Good stay, Thank You

Room was large, clean, and comfortable. However the kitchenette cooktop did not get hot enough to boil even a small pot of water. BEWARE EXTRA FEES - they claim to be “pet friendly” but they charge an extra $40 per pet per night due at check in. PLUS a refundable $75 pet deposit. Absolutely despicable, the listing only says “fees may apply” in the fine print. The hotel was nice but it’s a total scam and not worth it.

The male employee (Indian guy in his 30’s) was on his cell phone the entire time talking to someone and the breakfast needed to be restocked. He finally did it but he put about 1-2 cups of scrambled eggs in the warmer.

Owners seem to keep property in reasonably good shape considering the age of the building and staff is friendly. Kitchenette is very handy, breakfast is very reasonable, free coffee in lobby is nice as well as frozen microwave type snacks for purchase. Some parts of equipment and building show signs of aging, gym needs wipes for hygienic purposes, room ventilation is the biggest one for me - it felt like there was not enough outside air circulation in the room. Or it may be air conditioning unit needs cleaning. Would stay again.

Libby very clean, front desk staff was very friendly. Room was very clean. You can tell this is a newer property that is being well maintained. Breakfast was not to be taken out of lobby because of “critters” even though the room we rented had a kitchenette. I understand that food taken to rooms means lots of food wasted. Wish there was a little more variety at breakfast.

The room had everything we need and was spacious. The surrounding area was ok but i hated having to do the UTurn so often to get back to property from beach areas.

Upon check in room was subpar clean, vents for the AC were super dirty, no clean towels had to ask front desk. The bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash were all empty having to make another trip to front desk to request more which all should definitely have been done before check in. Shower drain was also clogged the water took a very long time to drain after showers. The staff was friendly and helpful, we make trips to Corpus very regularly and have stayed at many of the hotels and been returning customers to many but this one in particular we will definitely pass on next time and not make it back here to this one.

We have stayed here several times and like everything about the hotel. The breakfast is great every time. This time our room did have empty shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower and the bathroom sink was weak, it barely ran water when we turned it on. Rooms are always clean.

The breakfast had a nice variety of food. However there was not enough room in the breakfast area. There were long lines for the waffles and lines for the other food in which people were cutting. Then when you got your food there was no where to sit. I understand that this was a busy day (Sunday morning) and it was much nicer on Monday morning. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. We used the kitchen in the room while there and there was no hot water to wash dishes with. The pool was decent, the filter wasn't running, it was a windy day and lots stuff blown in so i skimmed the pool since the filter wasn't on to pick it up. The sitting location at the pool and grills need lots of maintenance. The furniture needs fixed or replaced, if someone sits in the webbed chairs that have massive rips they might fall through. The grills need desperately to be cleaned. One of them didn't work and we used the other both days we were there. Overall I would still recommend the hotel and location and stay there again.

There are much better options in Corpus for this price. If it weren’t for other hotels being sold out, we wouldn’t have stayed here. We checked in and checked out in less than two hours, that should tell you enough.

That was a great stay! The staff was super friendly, and the room was clean and big. We stayed there overnight for our son's follow-up at Driscoll, and it was awesome how close it was to Walmart and Funtracker. It worked out perfectly.

We booked for a last minute stay, and we are nkre than happy with our stay. Clean property and the amenities were a decent size so they lasted for our whole stay. Would book again.

It was a great good stay the only thing is their breakfast schedule for the guests. Also the bay view advertisement it's not so good.

I've stayed here several times, but in the last couple of visits, there have noticeable declines in small creature comforts. The lobby furniture looks beat up, the coffee in the rooms has been switched to a cheaper, less flavorful brand, etc. I don't know if it has changed ownership, but it is not as nice as it was a year ago. Feels like they are trying to cut some corners.

that we had already paid for was not available. they had no double beds available at all. He proceeded to tell us he had no rooms available and it was super late. After standing at the check in for what seemed like 30’min with him stomping his foot and looking at the computer for ever he then said they had a double bed room handicap we said we will take it then 10 min later he said it’s sold out so he then stated he had a king room with a couch so we took it as we had no other options since he said he could not give us money back since it was paid. We got to room put daughter had to sleep on pull out which was not comfortable at all. Our restroom door that slides open n close did not close all the way. Our tv remote did not work so we couldn’t even watch tv. I would not recommend this place at all. We couldn’t even get a response from the hotel to try n get a refund.

Great checkin. Room very nice. Developed one leak over A/C from ceiling. Nothing done about it. Next day, developed a bigger leak, getting carpet drenched. Changed rooms. Shower head broke off. Tub was clogged and did not drain. Swimming pool very cloudy, could not see bottom clearly. Coffee maker at free brkfst downstairs broke. Left. 6 hours later got charged $50. Called, manager did not know what it was for. Waiting still to see if goes away

We stayed 3 years ago and it was wonderful. We traveled this time with our dog but the entire hotel smelled like pee and the floor in our room was awful! The bathrooms floors were so dirty and the carpet wasn’t the cleanest either.

Nice rooms and big fridge.

This was a comfortable, and friendly place. The place was clean and even smelled good

The hotel looks great outside and inside there was some good service. The whole place felt comforting to enter. My problems with this hotels are the bad wifi, the loud ac that turns off, and no respect for the privacy sign. The wifi was either at 2 bars max or no reception at all (we were on the first floor). I usually sleep with a fan on and the ac would turn on and off which led me to wake up a lot. The last issue I had was the fact that the cleaning people entered to make the bed and moved our stuff while the privacy sign was up. Just felt a little invasive. The breakfast itself was not bad or great, if I just needed a room I would come again but make sure my belongings are in one spot. Nothing was taken I just was not a big fan of that.

I liked the fact that it was so close to Red Dot Pier, and Wal Mart everything around is so close to eat, shop, and fuel up no issues to report, definitely going back because I missed breakfast.
