Pretty solid place nice ocean view

Location is great! View from our room was wonderful. Beds are super comfortable, shower pressure is great and wonderful staff. The only negatives are windows are dirty. Would be nice to see the view better. We had two of our hand towels with brown on them. Maybe makeup from another guest. That was kind of gross. And the hotel itself could use some repairs and had mold from the ocean air I’m sure. A few of those changes would be great. We will stay again. So worth the location and rest of the positives I mentioned.

The room and the hotel was clean and smelled good. The staff was really nice and serviceable. Breakfast was the bad thing. The food wasn't good and they have a lot of improvement to make; but they are located in a very good location with great restaurants walking distance. The bar could also do some upgrading, but the service there was great and the view was very nice. Great prices on their drinks. The closing time of the bar could also be extended to a later time, at least to midnight.

Really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast featured a diverse selection, and the sweeping ocean view from the 11th floor was striking. A memorable way to begin each morning.

First time staying here and it was amazing! I love everything about it from the location, the service, the breakfast, the rooms, and the friendly staff! This hotel will be by go to everytime I come into town.

It’s a great location but rooms are very outdated. Popcorn ceilings, mold in the corners of the doors, box tvs, hardly any lighting. Parking is $20 a night (not advertised when booking). Breakfast buffet was good on the 11th floor with a beautiful view. Lounge was also nice.

Best Western had a very good breakfast variety and staff there was very helpful in ensuring breakfast offerings were available and fresh.

We were pleased with our choice. Rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool was well maintained and had comfortable lounges and towels. Breakfast was well staffed and food was varied and well prepared. We felt it was an excellent value.

First round at front desk gave us had a sleeping person in it. Second room was not really a view of the water like the original. 11th floor bar outlook was nice, but the tables are dirty glasses that stayed on them the whole hour we were there. Basically needs a good clean up there. $20 parking even if you stay at the hotel. In other words, just add $20 to your accommodation fee and in that case I would’ve stayed in a much nicer, newer, updated hotel. Not worth it.

Close to restaurants just across the street. Appreciated the covered parking. It was a little noisy after 10 pm due to revving cars on the boulevard in front of the hotel.

Breakfast menu was fresh and well displayed so finding what was needed was easy. All staff members were professional but helpful and very friendly. Room was very clean.

Perfect for city trips

Wasn't able to stay at this hotel, due to the fact that they dont take locals. You have to live 30 miles or further from this hotel.

The hotel was very good. I do not have any complaints whatsoever. However, the door out onto the small balcony was sealed shut. While I am sure there’s a reason for this, it would’ve made our stable or enjoyable if I could’ve opened the sliding door, as was originally intended in the construction of this hotel.

It was freezing cold 60 degrees settings and complaints were dismissed. Don’t get a receipt if charged for dog fees that added 135 to our cost. I wish I knew how that charge was derived.

This place is always very clean and comfortable. Its location is absolutely perfect for enjoying great food and fun around the downtown Corpus Christi area. They have a great breakfast and also the top floor bar is a relaxing place to hang out at the end of the day and have a great view

Great hotel, nice location with water views and right in front of a beautiful park. The breakfast was amazing, lots of hot breakfast items.

I came here with my girlfriend on a weekend. This was a great valuable stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. My girlfriend and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was on the 11th floor. So, it was really nice to watch the view of the city while having breakfast. 10 out of 10 will recommend and will come back.

The stop were excellent however the place was old. The toilets were so low and the room was not cleaned every day. The parking slots were small from medium size cars making a typical for your extra large cars. Most importantly is you're not in able to sit on your terrorist, the sliding doors do not open and so everything is fogged in and you can't see the ocean that you paid to see.

The hotel was nice & fine however the check in is what gives it the lower rating, it was spring break for us & looked like an event was happening as well do to the families. There was only one person to check in which made the time to check in horrible. I loved the breakfast area with the view. I feel as though they should have had more staff or at least been able to call for help

The breakfast was excellent, no complaints at all. The location of the restaurant over looking the harbor with its many boats, well it made for a very pleasant dining experience. As I said no complaints at all. The secure parking spaces were a bit narrow. Maybe just a little more room on either side of the spaces would be good but that would not stop me from coming back.

Great staff and location. The view from our room was amazing! The views at breakfast on the 11th floor is even better! Again, the staff was awesome! We took our dog, Kevin, and everyone was very accommodating! Can’t wait to come back!

The receptionist didnt look like she was happy to be there. She charged me deposit when I checked in and said when we checked out we would receive it back into our account and I still have not seen anything in my account. We've been staying at this hotel for the past few years for spring break and I've never had a problem. The receptionist in the past have always been very friendly this is the first time we had this problem.

Overall a great experience! There was a nasty smell in the pizza place when you walk thru! Also the other guest let their doors slam, door are very heavy and close very loud! Breakfast was great! Also we stayed in room 1001 both mornings around 6am -630am very loud noise above us from the breakfast area! Hard to sleep in!

The building is an older building, definitely doesn’t look like the pictures when picking a room. The room carpet, tubs and accessories are old and look like they haven’t been changed in years. The water was shut off while my wife was showering which only took a few minutes to be turned back on but was still annoyed with it. They also charge a parking fee which might be in the details but I didn’t see it when booking.

They were very nice and accommodating, the views are beautiful and they are located next to a lot of outdoor activities in the area.

Only three handicap spaces and never once saw them available.

The highlight is free breakfast served on the top floor of the hotel, with great views out over the water and downtown. Overall it's a clean, safe hotel with friendly staff. Some updating of the rooms would help the experience.

The Hotel was fine and needs a lot of updates. The towels were old and thin. The beds a little hard and sheets were scratchy. It was clean and the staff was great. A remodel is needed. The balcony was a big plus but no access.

The water facets would only dispense very hot water out of the shower and sink. No cold water! Couldn’t take a shower or was my hair. AC was very cold and loud! Breakfast was excellent and staff was friendly.

Great hotel in Corpus Christi near restaurants, shopping, and the Bay Front Park. We were birding in the area and the hotel was 1 block away from the Cattle Tyrant. Loved the Grandview Lounge for sitting with friends while having drinks. Marty McPies next door was great for lunch. Would stay again.

This is where I stay every time I visit Corpus Christi. Reasonable rate clean rooms in a great location often with a view of Corpus Christi Bay in the Marina and a really good complementary breakfast buffet. It is always freezing in the lobby and in the hotel in general, but still highly recommend staying here.

There was some initial confusion on my reservation because I added an extra day & their system hadn't updated but the front desk manager was great & got us fixed up. I miss not being able to have access to the room balconies, part of why I booked there. Also, bring your own pillow, theirs are the worst. Felt like they were filled with chunks of foam...odd. Anyway, staff was polite, room was clean & breakfast was good.

Multiple maintenance issues with this property . It’s old and needs some work . Service was minimal . The location is nice and pizza restaurant inside was good . I wouldn’t stay here again.

The location was great and within walking distance of the beach. There were a few weird things about the room. The sink for the bathroom was around the corner from the bathroom. There was a balcony, but the glass door was nailed shut. Service was great. Breakfast was amazing and had a great view.

We took a family trip to see the fireworks and boy did ee have an amazing view poolside. We also wqlked over to art walk and had a fun time.

The toilets are ridiculous, they are loud flush with a commercial handle and they literally sit on the floor.

I’ve stayed here a few times in years past and it is still a good hotel for me. I like the rooms, the breakfast and the location. Nice view of the bay front, walk across the street to Water Street Oyster Bar restaurant. Only ding is that my 8th floor room had low water pressure in the shower.

I didn’t like that the pool or outdoor lounge area were not open in the mornings, I am a early riser and enjoy a sunrise prayer and meditation.

Hello, I contacted Expedia customer service today Sep 7, 2025 at about 12:15pm EST by phone about my stay over in Corpus Christi TX - Best Western. Also, today just moments prior, ii spoke to the BW hotel front desk to complain. Here is my issues from poor room fittings & fixtures in room #400 at this BW location. Today, Sep 7, 2025 at about 9am ii entered the shower in room #400 and began to turn on the water, instead the rain drip type shower head (about 5lbs) fell off and tumbled down hit my upper left ankle-foot. I have been recovering from poison ivy on that leg, so the shower head striking it, made it swell up significantly and created ongoing throbbing pain. I have taken multiple photo images of the shower and my foot-ankle for proof of what ii suffered because of Best Western room #400 configuration, fittings &. fixtures. At a minimum I have requested to be FULLY compensated ALL expenses associated with my Sep 6-7, 2025 reservation at this Best Western! For relief I would expect Best Western to be more gratuitous in my longer term pain & suffering in offering me additional compensation and future accommodations at Best Western. As time proceeds I will also make further determination on my fully recovery suffered to the left ankle-foot as to any other impacts that may need to be pursued in remedy for those symptoms at behest of Best Western.

Room was great. View from our room was great. I’d say the breakfast and elevators were our least favorite part of the trip. Elevators were very slow and took forever for us to be able to make it up or down despite there being 3.

This was my second time staying there and it didn’t disappoint. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good! We stayed in room 707.

I had the issue with my ac unit . Told front desk and a tech was sent but it was never fix . Could t go to sleep due to the ac making a loud noise. Told front desk twice but it was never address . Came back at 11pm to sleep and still had the same issue - went to sleep with ac off and burning hot . Not a good stay .

Check in was a breeze and front desk was nice. Breakfast was impressive and good quality. Rooms were clean and mattress was comfy. Common areas were nice. The only disappointment was the bartender. Her approach of asking ppl if they needed something vs greeting someone and asking what she can get them is a better approach. Bartender complained about her being the only one working as she expressed her feeling overwhelmed. I did not feel welcomed at the bar and I felt extremely inconvenienced to be there. Breakfast attendants were very very nice. Pizza place staff were very nice.

GREAT BAR ON TOP OF THE HOTEL AND LOCATION

Front desk was friendly and helpful when we checked in. Hotel could use a few updates here and there, like no carpets in the rooms, but it wasn’t too bad. Views were nice, but you couldn’t open balcony door. Air conditioner went out right before midnight, we called down and front desk clerk quickly switched us rooms. My stay was due to an early medical procedure so i didn’t get to enjoy breakfast or pool. I would stay again.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast Buffett was good but the thing that really helped was the 12:00 checkout. Tremendously helpful.

The only issue we had was the elevator usage. Only two small elevators for the guests that caused a little bottleneck during checkout.

Good hotel beakfast, next to the water for a nice walk in the morning. Close to a few restaurants.

The room and bathroom were nice and clean. Breakfast was great. The only concern I had was the music from restaurant near by was too loud. Not good for early sleeper.

Location close to beach front

The view from the room was great, the view from the breakfast dining room was fantastic. The breakfast food was outstanding. The room met all expectations, bed was comfortable, and there was enough space to move around.

The hotel staff was great. They were friendly and so nice. Love the hotel breakfast. One thing you could do that would be perfic is for handicap roome the bathroom door should be a pocket door. Will stay again.

Good hotel good area

Location was easy for walking for dinner. In a nice area on Corpus Bayfront.

Room service was noted on the bathroom mirror. It was not seen as we arrived. It was suggested to management to inform customers as the checked in regarding room service.

Hard to get towels and wash rags. Charged parking

Everything was awesome with the exception on housekeeping which is done on request, thats fine, but we requested cleaning around 10:30am knowing we would be back around 5-6pm and when we returned still the way we left it. Had to go get clean towels for showers, but staff was great and gave us towels and they did not know why room was not clean. Guess you have to find a way to confirm room has been cleaned in the future.

The hotel is not worth more than $400 for 2 nights. Breakfast is decent. The room isn’t dirty. There may be loud noises through the night so don’t expect great sleep. More than likely won’t book here again.

The hotel was good for our trip. It needs to be updated a bit but it’s a solid stay. The bar upstairs provides a nice view but like everything else just needs a small touch of new.

Property was dated but clean and centrally located to many things to do. Rooftop bar was quiet when we were there and the views were great.

family trip. It was close to everything we wanted to do. We were able to walk to the beach for my daughter's soccer games. We were even able to call and let the hotel know we are running behind and won't be able to make the 12am check in deadline. They arranged for a late check in. For sure will come back!

Nice, elevators scared me

Super clean hotel. Everyone was really friendly. There was so much to do right outside the hotel. We will definitely stay again!

Evidently all the guests travelling with animals are housed on the same floor, which was the same one we were on. Multiple guests would just leave their dogs in the room alone where they barked, and barked, and barked... We and others made multiple complaints to the front desk, all of which were seemingly completely ignored. TLDR - decent hotel, but request an animal free floor when you book, unless you're that guy that brings a dog on vacation only to leave it in the room for hours at a time.

Absolutely a great experience. Check in was smooth and efficient. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean, cool, and comfortable. The bed was excellent and the pillows were fluffy. The included breakfast was good and the coffee was great. The lounge allowed us to bring our dog in and the ambiance was superior. I will stay at this hotel again.

We've stayed here several times and always come back. Friendly staff. Great breakfast and love the bar upstairs...great view.

Staff was great, breakfast was good and location was perfect for everything we wanted to do when we visited Corpus Christi. We had a great vacation and definitely a big part of that is where we were able to get a good nights rest and some food in our belly to start out the day.

Great stay a little outdated but it’s corpus. The dog fee is so reasonable compared to other hotels in the area and the hotel staff is excellent.

Aside from the one elevator being out of service it was a comfortable and nice stay like it usually is.

I have stayed here many times. It is always clean, friendly service. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and the lounge also. The food place was a pizza place and the food was even excellent!

Staff was great, clean and close to everything. Kids loved the view.

Everyone as super nice, breakfast is good and last till for us late risers. It can get loud at night because it’s a touristy area. Bring your white noise machine.

Staff was excellent. The bar on the top floor is nice to hang and see the view of the bay. Breakfast was very good. Nice staff hosting and better than most expenses restaurant biscuits. House made breakfast tacos too.

The breakfast staff and food; and bar tender at night; both were excellent and very nice. Also the breakfast and bar area is on the 11th floor and has a beautiful view of the bay.
