Everything was wonderful will definitely visit this hotel again!

The room was amazing. Got 111 and never had an issue of any kind. Great staff, easy parking . Very clean and quiet.

Room was ok, the property was clean and in a good location. Rooms do need to be updated a bit and the Wi-Fi cut out multiple times

FREE PARKING; I cannot stress how helpful this was as everywhere in San Diego charges for parking. Walking distance from Ferry Landing Shopping center, and the ferry to Seaport Village and the Convention Center. Staff is great, rooms are great, breakfast is great. Property is showing some wear and tear, but they were putting on a new roof while we were there, so good on them!

There are a few rooms right next to the busiest street on the island (3rd St). The traffic noise is quite loud. Unfortunately, I was assigned one of these rooms and I couldn't get it changed. Maybe people bring ear plugs with them, but I didn't have any.

Perfect location to walk to many restaurants. The breakfast was great! We definitely recommend to others, and we would stay there again.

Very good breakfast with hot options. Hot tub and pool. A supermarket a couple of blocks away. We walked about 4 blocks to an excellent, but affordable restaurant called Tartine. About 30 minute walk to the Hotel del Coronado.

Hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub area is pretty small but doable as long as a large amount of people do not all show up at one time. Our family visits Coronado yearly and this was our first stay at this property. It is closer to the bay side of the island but not a bad walk to either the bay shops or the main shopping district on Orange Ave and the Beach. We would recommend this property for its location and affordability.

The free parking was unusable for us as the parking garage is short and the angle which you have to drive into the garage makes it impossible to park a large SUV or truck. The location is great and is within walking distance of several restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores.

Our go to place to stay! Exceptional location away from the more touristy side of the island. But still a short drive to Coronado beach or Silver Strand beach if you like a little more privacy. Short walk to the bay. Rooms always prepared nicely. Thank you for the hard boiled eggs option. Yes please! Always has a great spread for breakfast. B/W Coronado is our main stay!

The buffet breakfast was really delicious and hot (but also had an abundance of quick pastries, fresh fruit, etc). What an unexpected delight!!

Had a great stay here! Would def stay again and recommend to others! Great location and we loved Coronado Island….and felt 100% safe the entire stay.

Had an issue with our first room, communicated the issue and we were upgraded to a suite and the staff were so nice! Everything is walking distance, the amenities were perfect especially with a three year old! The park down the street was a hit! Breakfast was great as well. Definitely recommend if you have children!

Front desk staff was excellent & so helpful! We left our room key in the room a time or two and they didn’t hesitate to let us right in. Breakfast was awesome and had a lot of options, great for kids. The room was spacious and perfect for our family of four (we got the suite). Our only negative was that the room next door blasted music and stayed very loud in the courtyard until about 10 pm - unfortunate room placement that I’m not sure could be helped but just be aware walls aren’t super thick. Overall great stay & we’d stay again!

However, room 203 , was very noisy in the overnight hours. The traffic noise wasn’t filtered at all. It was hard to get a good nights rest.

Check-in was easy and fast. Parking was great and safe. The rooms were super clean (MUCH appreciated). It was quiet all night, no disturbances. We didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, we left too early. Beds and pillows were comfortable and the A/C worked well.

Pool area is a bit small but the hotel overall was nice and my daughter requested we stay here again next time!

We had a great stay! We arrived midday and were able to check in immediately. The suite was the perfect size for our family of 4, with privacy for my teenage girl on the sofa bed in the sitting room. The location is perfect for a nice walk to lunch, dinner, or the beach, and a great spot for Uber pickups. We enjoyed both the pool and the hot tub during our visit and absolutely loved the generous, delicious breakfast options. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. A great visit all around.

The hotel experience overall was excellent. The room was very clean and updated. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast options were also great and loved the fact that they offer it. But talk about location. I think it was the perfect location. It's within a walking distance to a grocery store (albeit it was on a more "expensive" side), to some shops, and to restaurants. At the end of that street is actually a park where there's a garden and walking path by the beach, over looking the city of San Diego. It feels quiet and safe enough that I walked with my kids in the early hours of the evening. The people were very nice and friendly. The staff were courteous and attentive at all times. It is close to the bridge and to everything else, really. As with any cities, watch out for the traffic times. As crossing the bridge could take you 10-15 mins on a good day, to being stuck there linger than you have to coz of rush hour, or evening traffic. So plan for those when going in and out of the city.

We found hair in the shower wall, not just a little bit like a big hair ball, we found tissues next to the bed.

The breakfast was very tasty and had a different selection every day. Parking was easy and free. The staff was incredible! They went above and beyond for our whole party. So friendly! They were really lovely people. The rooms were dated, but very clean and Housekeeping did an amazing job every day for us.

Our room was away from the main street, so it was very quiet. Breakfast was delicious thank you. We had a very large truck and the late check-in clerk allowed to park in the driveway.

I was actually surprised at how nice the rooms were, how nice the breakfast was, and how convenient it was to the base where my son is stationed I wish there were a couple loungers by the pool other than that I had no concerns or complaints

The parking spaces are really tiny and there's a lot of spots for compact cars but not for bigger vehicles

I came in earlier than expected and requested on my arrival at 10:30a if I could check in ahead of the standard check in time. Staff was great, they checked to see if any rooms were open and luckily I was able to check in early. Very much appreciated. I would definitely return with that type of service and understanding. RM 107 has a tendency to be a little nosier at night because of its front location to major street.

The office was in construction and the temporary breakfast area was pretty tight but it was a minor inconvenience. Had a very nice stay.

Property is undergoing an update. Staff was fantastic, but I felt we were overpaying for what they could deliver at this time.

Great location, all day coffee, passes to Coronado Fitness Club, good breakfast options, close to everything, walking distance without being too busy. Nothing. Renovations were being carried out while we were there but can’t say that bothered us at all.

We liked the spacious suites, the comfortable beds and off-street parking. In addition, the location was superb. It was not in the busiest tourist area which appealed to us. There wasn't anything worth noting.

Location was great and it was nice to have Free Parking on site. It will be great once the renovations are complete. It’s an older property that is a bit out dated.

Room was located right next to the loud/bust road. Would be nice to include sound machine options for guests in these rooms. I was on call at a nearby hospital and decided to stay close by to get rest, but didn't. The pillows were rock hard and the blankets were too thin to keep me warm. the hot tub was more like a large bath. Disappointed for the price.

Stayed 2 nights and loved it! Clean rooms, super comfortable beds, very convenient location, free breakfast, small shallow pool and hot tub, pretty grounds. Free parking garage under hotel is great, but spaces are very tight for a minivan - only stressful part of trip. Overall, highly recommend and would stay again!

What a wonderful place to relax, enjoy comfortable beds and have a delicious breakfast with so many choices! The free parking was an added bonus! They have a lovely sitting area in the lobby, coin operated laundry (just one washer and dryer) and our room had a fridge, microwave, kureg and separate sink for kitchen items. We tried to sleep with the window open but being close to the fire station, it was a little too loud. But with the window closed, you couldn’t hear much outside noise. It’s a quick walk to the beachside walkway, with many restaurants to choose for a bite. Thanks again for a relaxing stay!

We were able to walk to restaurants, or get picked up by an Uber very easily to take us into downtown. Also it's within walking distance to the ferry, so that's another easy option. The staff was very friendly and the room was spotless and comfortable, and much bigger than I expected, which was wonderful. We are already planning another trip and will be staying here again!

This was for a quick stay for business. The room I stayed in was great. The hotel itself is a little bit rundown and the area around the hotel was not the best.

Had a guy yelling and screaming at the top of the lungs for six hours all through the night. The staff did nothing about it. People were calling the cops right and left and still the staff was not concerned. Did not apologize. Did not say we will comp you a night. Also, the rooms are just fairly clean. They have one little nasty blanket and sheets. No other blanket

The only drawback to the hotel is if you get a room adjacent to the noisy road like we did. Those rooms should be offered at a cheaper rate so the expectation is clear. The traffic noise really picks up around 4am as commuters pour onto the island. Makes it really uncomfortable to sleep. But otherwise the friendly people, service, breakfast, cleanliness, lobby snacks, etc are all EXCELLENT.

Conveniently located on the main road going through Coronado. They had bicycles that you could check out to get around. It is also close to the Coronado Bridge. Easy access on and off the bridge was a definite plus👍 The mattress was very comfortable and the complimentary hot breakfast was excellent. Will definitely be back.

This was a great choice for an enjoyable stay in Coronado, the room was spacious and comfortable and we loved the free breakfast and the swimming pool.

My husband and I flew in to the San Diego Airport and took public transportation to Coronado Island. We either walked or rode the bus to go where we wanted to go. The hotel is really close to the bus stops. We were very happy with the location. The hotel has been renovated and is in great condition.

I liked the location of the hotel, it was very easy to get there when coming back from downtown area, and was also only a short walk to some restaurants and also the ferry to go across to the downtown area, the hotel was clean and the room was comfortable and spacious

The only negative was the location of our room on a street that was so noisy starting at 3:00 AM.

Breakfast everyday was great variety. Front desk workers very polite and nice.

I love the location of this hotel! I can walk down to see the skyline and ride the ferry into Seaport. There’s little markets and restaurants which make the experience even better.

Wonderful location on Orange Avenue, convenient to everything in Coronado. We had a spacious room with sitting area and French doors opening to the bedroom. This is not a new hotel, but very comfortable and we stay there every year when we are visiting.

In a homey like area. Wasn't really fond of an ally being our bedroom view on the 1st floor. People randomly walking by.

This hotel is situated the heart of Coronado. We love walking to the Ferry and eating out at local restaurants. It's so easy to hop on a bus or ferry and travel all over Coronado and San Diego.

Very comfortable and quiet hotel with easy access to Ferry landing, restaurants and shops. We even had partial view of the San Diego skyline from our window!

We really loved staying at this property. It's a bit aged but they take care of it and the value for money is there. The location was just amazing. We could walk to a beach facing San Diego city or a beach at the other end near Hotel Del Coronado. There were so many shops and dining options. The room was spacious and I particularly liked the desk set-up as I wound up having to do some work at night. The breakfast was also great.

We loved the property. The front desk was super attentive. If we needed something they sent it to our room with 5 min. The breakfast area was well maintained and there was a good variety of foods everyday. There was a coffee machine in the lobby that had a variety of specialty coffee choices. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very cozy with a small fridge and microwave. Pool was a little small, but we didn’t have time to even use it. Great stay!

Other than that, the main office staff was very friendly and helpful.

The location is great! There are tons of dining and shopping options as close as a 2 minute walk. Unlike most of the surrounding hotels, parking is onsite, and included with your reservation. They also have a coin operated washer and dryer onsite, as well. If ever in the area, this would be my go to spot to stay.

Hotel is ok. We stayed 5 nights. Breakfast was mediocre except for Saturday it was great they added bacon and eggs separately to the menu. Beds are comfortable and the hotel is quiet. Had a good stay with the exception that housekeeping didn’t clean our room Friday night. The maid lied saying we had the do not disturb sign on when we did not. They were apparently behind on cleaning as they typically end at 2pm but was cleaning later, maybe she was tired and ready to go home. We also had an invasion of ants and had to resort to putting edibles in ziplock bags. Swimming pool and hot tub need refinished.

For VIP members there is a 2 bottles of water free for each guest ( complementary). They don’t have available bottled water for guests. Only water cooler. The cleaning staff were awesome. They were washing floor with soap outside- the resting area for guests!

This hotel was in a great location near dining and walking distance to the ferry. The breakfast was very convenient and offered many different options like fruit, yogurt, oatmeal with great toppings, bacon, eggs, sausage, vegetables and to go snacks like muffins and nutrigrain bars. The danishes were delicious. The room was spacious with comfortable beds, a fridge and a microwave. The only thing I wished it had was a safe to put passports in. Other than that it was perfect.

We like staying her because of the location. We like that they offer a free hot breakfast too. However, this years breakfast was disappointing! Only scrambled eggs and a meat was offered. No potato option, there was a green bean, bell pepper and onion mix that was offered. Very ODD for breakfast. They took away the hot oatmeal and waffle maker which was very good in the past!! So it was disappointing especially for the cost of the rooms now. For the price point, the dated rooms and disappointing breakfast has really made me rethink my options.

A little outdated but the location was great, very quiet and walking distance to Ferry and beach.

It’s dirty

Our family stay of adults at this property was Excellent! The location is great & within walking distance of shopping, eating & the bay. The breakfast every morning is absolutely magnificent with lots of different choices. The room was excellent with a great bathroom, bed, TV's & space. Parking was also easy, free, and very convenient with a parking garage. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean and a wonderful breakfast

The hotel was right on the main drag. Perfect to stroll to dinning or shops. The room was comfortable and quiet. The free breakfast was fantastic. I would stay there again. Just a walk to the Dell and the beach.

The beds were so comfortable that we slept really well! Restaurants & the local pharmacies were within walking distance. The only negative thing we noticed is how compact & tight their basement parking is! But overall, we had a great stay! Wouldn’t mind coming back to stay there the next time!

Great area

July 4th weekend and reserved for three nights, after first night the elevator only worked to floor 2 and we were on floor 3. My wife had trouble with her knee and the elevator being out created a problem. Her knee got irritated. We decided to leave after second night. We were charged for the three nights. We believe we should have been charged for two. Other than that the accommodations were excellent and we are a repeat customer.

It’s a great deal in Coronado Island! Price is good, location is perfect, 5 mins walking to the pier & see the view. Parking is underground with elevator access, small lobby and breakfast area but enough for the stay. Room is spacious with microwave & fridge. Will be back if go to Coronado again.

Took care of a situation efficiently, was treated with upmost respect. I was disappointed with the breakfast. Only because I have been at this location numerous times, but not since Covid times. They explained the reasoning and I truly understand. I love the zucchini they had for breakfast that was delicious.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast offering was very plentiful and wide variety of food. Well done.

Safe and clean

This place is wonderful. CLEAN. Comfortable. We are in our late 60's and was able to park our car and walk everywhere we wanted to go. Good breakfast. On Coronado this place is a bargain when you consider parking anywhere is going to cost at least $50 day and breakfast is another at least $40 a day. Take the ferry over to Seaport Village which is way easier than driving and having to find a place to park. If you have mobility issues public transportation is easy to use as well. Would definitely stay here again.

I would not recommend this property - they were very rude to me when I called and the manager never returned any of my calls after several attempts at leaving messages. Very poor customer service.

Excellent place to stay! Room was great for a family of 5. Free parking! You can walk to the beach and ferry from the hotel.

Comfortable and clean

The room was very elegant and the bed was so comfortable. It had all of the amenities you could ask for too. The staff was great and the breakfast was outstanding.

The staff were lovely. The room was totally adequate and comfortable. My one bit of advice would be to try getting a room on the top floor because the floors squeaked above us. That was my only complaint. Location was perfect, courtyard and pool were small but lovely. Very happy with this hotel and will stay there again.

From the moment we checked in till we left everyone was friendly and helpful. Property was clean, easy parking and the breakfast was awesome, lots to pick from. Can't wait until next year.

The hotel is in an ok part of Coronado still far from things. Cops were there for someone going nuts I guess. But the checkout process was horrible. Whichever two younger girls working Tuesday around 4pm were rude didn’t even ask questions about our stay. Rooms need to be updated definitely not worth the price tag.

Very affordable, staff were very friendly and our beds were made everyday we come back to our rooms. Love the breakfast. For an affordable place to stay, this exceeded our expectation. Highly recommended.

The room was nice but the TV channels and the internet were terrible. It was hard to turn on the water faucet in the bathroom.

Great place to stay when visiting Coronado! Free underground parking and free breakfast when it seems everyone else is charging heavy fees for this. We left our car in the garage and walked everywhere. You get your steps in but don't have to fight for space closer to the beach. The breakfast was great and had several options. There are so many restaurants and shops nearby and a ferry to the San Diego waterfront was right down the road. The room had plenty of space to stretch out and relax in between activities. There were four of us and we never felt cramped.

This is one of the better places I've stayed on the island. Our check in person was awesome. I appreciate the free parking structure. The room was very nice and felt very clean. It does look a tad outdated but did not feel dingey/grimey whatsoever. Would definitely stay her again.

The area is good and hotel is in nice condition. The rooms were very small and ours was right next to a noisy road. The breakfast options were wonderful.

The location was great. Loved the on site parking which was free and the breakfast.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay there. It was within walking distance of many of the places on that side of Coronado and a short drive to others. They have an underground parking garage which was more welcome given street parking is at a premium. My wife and I both agreed that the breakfast buffet was one of the best we've experienced. While simple, there were lots of options and extras one doesn't normally see.

Breakfast had a good selection, though it would be nice if it wasn’t all on disposable cutlery and crockery. The room had a good coffee maker and a little kitchenette, which was nice. The pool was clean and easy to access; the only thing I would ask to improve it would be changing the fence panels to something opaque. When you get in/out of the pool you are directly next to a fairly busy crossroads, and it feels a bit exposed. The area was quiet and beautiful, as expected on Coronado. That said, because of the naval base there are planes and helicopters overhead quite a lot. I would stay again.

Nice little spot on Coronado Island. Clean room and great neighborhood walkable to a lot of places to eat/drink.

Great location close to everything. Staff was accommodating. Very clean in all areas. The included breakfast was excellent. They offered the usual eggs, toast & cereal plus fresh fruit, yogurt, breads, danish & even cheeses. They had a great assortment of soy milks & juices. Convenient parking under the hotel with a short walk to rooms. I'd stay there again. My only complaint is the rooms along the main road are noisy.

We were upgraded to a suite which was very good, however, the bed was a queen. I had reserved for a king size bed. Nonetheless, our stay was very wholesome. Room was clean and quiet. Friendly staff.

I’ve always wanted to stay at this hotel, the proximity to all the Coronado areas we enjoy and the free parking is excellent. However, the property needs to either upgrade their hot tub or just close it all together. I still can’t forget the brown color of the water.

Liked the location easy to get to with free parking and super friendly staff. The pool was good the hot tub was small but not busy. For a breakfast ncluded it was great and all at reasonable price overall What a beautiful island. Fridge microwave grocery stores close by as well and restaurants including fast food and local eateries by the ferry dock.
