This is a cozy, cute little gem 💎 that I immediately fell in love with upon walking into the door. Super clear, well organized, lovely little touches that made the place endearing. Outdoor area was just a well throughout, easy to settle in for a evening around the fire 🔥 or a day at the pool, all surrounded by nature on all sides. I will definitely be back again soon! Thank you for a lovely relaxing time.

Their was no wifi and the bed was an older bed with springs and wasnt very comfortable.

The manager is very nice and helped make it simple for my stay. The room we received was not what we expected. I will not disclose any further information.

I didn’t get to stay because the office closes at 6 and I don’t get off of work until 730. Would have been nice to know! If it is in the fine print it needs to be larger or put in caps in the description.

Property manager in her husband are phenomenal people. Because of them, I hate writing this review, but find it necessary. In speaking with Amy prior to booking this property I had some concerns based on a previous experience in another whole state and it prompted me to ask certain questions. She assured me my experience with them would be 100% different however it absolutely was not. Light in the kitchen did not work. The only workable light was the range hood light. When I brought it to their attention, she said they were aware it was out, but for some unknown reason, we’re not able to get a bulb to replace it. The carpet was severely stained throughout. Shower curtain is covered with mold along the bottom. Stove top, microwave are in deplorable condition. I booked a king size suite however, there was one double bed and one bed that had a double bed frame, however, appeared to be a three-quarter size mattress so did not even cover the frame. My partner and I had to sleep in separate beds because two people could not possibly sleep in either of those when I brought that to her attention her resolution was the loveseat in the living room was also pullout sleeper. There was only 1 coffee mug, went to office to get one i was told they didn’t have anymore. I find this place to be more of a living quarters for many people then a hotel for transient travelers, such as myself. Residents and staff all agreed that they simply don’t want to upgrade and bugs and roaches are a problem

Dead bugs on the floor along with a full size fridge with rust spots all over the front. Did not match the photos on web. The outside of property was well kept?!

The staff was extremely helpful & courteous. There were no general cleaning supplies like a mop, broom, or dust pan for quick cleanup during cooking.

Were there over 3 weeks, had one set of towel, wash cloth, and floor mat the ENTIRE stay. When asked, was met by manager stating they did not have enough to give more than one set for 3 people. Had to go buy supplies that they would not give to us. I.E. towels, etc. When asked for toilet paper, paper towels, received nothing!!!! When we checked out, manager said we owed money that we NEVER owed. The new management is HORRIBLE!!!!! Would never recommend. The prior manager was an amazing lady and was extremely helpful and provided necessities as needed. There were drug deals in the parking lot being made, in rooms, could smell weed strongly every single day. Management was very rude, and extremely ridiculous. Stated upper management is why there was nothing there for her to give to the ones staying there. I paid over 500 per week for nothing! And internet NEVER worked, blamed Spectrum for that, when in fact they did not pay the bill. EVERYTHING

Affordable Microwave and kitchen was dirty and it was still a paper towel in the microwave from a recent stay.

All the sinks could of been better cleaned and the stove thank goodness I brought cleaning stuff I needed but other than that it was great

I think people stay here long term or even live in these rooms. While over all our five day stay was good the kitchen is not equipped with proper cooking utensils. Office staff was very nice.

Very cozy room small but intimate and that we liked. My one and only complaint is the fridge barely kept anything cold and the freezer part was non existent. I'd say to be honest though affordable suites has everyone beat hands down you get a whole suite with working kitchen for 79 a night no deposit and the lady that runs it is a class act!

The stay was last minute. This was affordable and convenient. The bedroom is separate from the living room and there's a TV in both. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. There's dishes, soap and the toiletries provided. The staff are really respectful and made us feel welcomed. Amy messaged us to ensure we were enjoying our stay. She asked if we needed anything for our stay. I greatly appreciate that. Our stay was great. We didn't experience anyone being loud or disrespectful. It truly was a great place to stay. Thank you!!!

Place is affordable but noone offered towels and each room ia supposed to have dish soap which after the first one is gone longer stays you provide..when i tols the lady upfront she said well we don't give you another.. explained that we didn't have one at check in she ignored me further comment wasnt made ..also saw some roaches but the women upfront was to hateful to talk too.. price is perfect but the housekeepers. Aren't! I do love the place and the vibe but just needed to be cleaned better

The situation with resident clerk or manager was the worst ever. I called before twice before leaving my place to get after hour check-in instructions. She failed to return my call. Upon arrival, I called and eventually she gave me a code to get only a keycard out of a lock box. When I called her to ask for about 30 minutes more to check-out, she was horrible.

The owner/manager was nice and the AC worked good but the room was not clean. Trash can in kitchen was full, dirty carpet and couch. Mold along the walls and in the bathroom floor and shower curtain. Only one towel and two wash cloths. Bugs. Housekeeping needs to do a better job!

Or heck I don't need money but I wish I'd spoke with the nice lady about if the needed help and I'd except a room for my ppl pay, and if they were unable to do that I loved it ENOUGH I'd pay for my room while I worked! She said it wan;t my CC# I explained it was the Virtual CC. She also did not know how to make keys for the room. They never worked housekeeping let me in to the room so I knew the lock was fine. I work in the hotel insdustry it was unbelievable.

I am sorry about all the boxes and recycle I left due to a shopping trip. Did not see a garbage/recycle bin outside to throw them. Location was a little weird, as it was located near what I guess you would call an industrial or business area. There seemed to be another hotel close by. It was quiet. Roads close by were very dark and turning in was a little nerve-racking on occasion trying to get to the road the hotel was on.

Hotel called me and canceled my reservation, only 12 hours before check in. Really caused a huge problem for me, and had to cancel my whole trip. Do yourself a favor and avoid this property at all costs.

Staff was friendly and room was a little dated but pretty clean aside from some cobwebs here and there (the important parts-bed, bathroom, & kitchen were very clean though). For the price, it was great! We will be staying here next time we come back to Hickory.

We were in town for a short family event and needed a place to sleep and eat, which this provided at a reasonable rate. The room could use some updating. There were multiple people hanging out outside who look to be living there as an actual residence rather than a hotel. A little noise but overall it took care of what we needed and we were not there all that much.

I liked the property very much. The place was very comfortable and had plenty of room. What I loved most about it that it looks exactly like a real apartment home you can cook plus had a refrigerator in it, plus microwave, closet space, 2 tv's . It was pretty nice I would definitely stsy again.

Great stay. Accommodations are adequate and the price is good. It's just like everything else in life. Alot of the customers are regulars and they will be getting the bottom level rooms no matter what. If you have a bum leg or some issues you better go somewhere else.

small low frills property that is not staffed 24/7. very low on the room amenities, more like a long term rental room than a hotel. staff was friendly when there.

The room was pleasant but had several lights to include the range and bedroom lamps that did not work. Also, furniture was not straight which did not lead me to believe that proper housekeeping was done. The refrigerator knocks as if the compressor is going bad. And there are parts of my room that needed to be painted.

The property manager attempted to charge my credit card as she didn’t notice that i already paid in advance through Expedia. It took her a while to figure it out after calling Expedia, but then she forgot to return my credit card.

Room was dated and dirty. TV remote batteries were dead, bathtub plug didn’t work so could not do a bath only a shower. Overall it was run down and all you could smell was pot the whole night from the neighbor rooms. The advertised pricing when checking in was lower than what I paid in advance.

The office desk lady was very pleasant and nice. They were able to accommodate me a room with a pull out bed for my kids. The rooms are outdated. There was soap but no shampoo conditioner provided. It seemed more of like a motel in my opinion. But overall the stay was comfortable.

How friendly the staff is, from the cleaning people to the manager. When we had issues with the remote control, they fixed it right away. We are planning to come back in the following weeks because I am being treated at Catawba Medical Center, this hotel's location fits our needs it is close to the hospital. Excellent service and good accommodation.

Well first off let me say Miss Beverly is an amazing woman. I really connected with her my first visit. The place was so secluded and quiet. You would never even know it was there. The property is maintained exceptionally well and the room was very clean. Just a quiet place where you can escape for a while.

The outside property was pretty well maintained as well as the rooms although the A/C machine was dusty and dirty I didn't mind but it could cause somebody to have allergies

This is a little different in the good way from all the ordinary hotel, which I really like it, there was living room separated from the bed room. and it did has kitchen and more like apartment, clean and comfortable which never see in most hotel. That was awesome and thanks

I would return here for sure. I only had one situation where my comforter was covered in animal hair and no one came to change it but honestly the rest of my stay and location was great for the money.

Great value - only reason for not being a 10 is sofa and mattress are worn. But will definitely stay there next time i am in the area.

My husband and I came here for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised by how friendly everyone was to us and how quiet this place was. Definitely coming back!!

They have trouble keeping good housekeeping but Bev will definitely take care of her residence.

Very friendly and helpful manager and a fairly decent place overall, but my unit was not exactly clean. The floors were sticky, carpet stained, surfaces in the kitchen, cabinets, etc. were all sticky. There was also trash behind the furniture in the bedroom and under tables, trash under the trash bags in the trash can, behind trash cans etc. The space was obviously cleaned between guests, just not cleaned well. The towels and bedding were clean and comfortable. There was a small problem with drain flies - it seems like there was always one swooping around despite killing them as I saw them. The wifi worked well, as did the TV's and cable service, although when the neighbors changed the channel, my tv channel changed, too!

This place was amazing. It was very affordable and was like renting an apartment.

I liked the room's lay out...all 3 rooms (livingroom, bath,and bedroom) were separated, so if one was tired and the other wanted to watch tv, it made it easier. The livingroom shared it space with a small kitchen and table, which was nice. It also had a larger frig, coffee maker, toaster, micro, stove, 2 plates, bowls, glasses and silverware. The floor hadn't been clean, neither had the bath floors and walls. The towels need softening. Water didnt taste good. We felt safe and the building was fairly new. The price was good also.

Great price. Quiet area. Seems remote but close to town. Dishes, utensils, & pans provided in kitchenette. Well lighted outside area.

My 2nd time staying at this location and it was better than my first. The bed was much better than the previous visit. I’ll stay again and hope I get the same room.
