Had a package delivered to the front desk I'd forgotten about and they reminded me when I returned. Breakfast was hot and had a good variety of foods. Overall I was extremely happy with the room, the staff and the price, will definitely use Hotels.com to book this property again.

We had a terrible experience with the check in staff. The room served it's purpose. Bed was comfy enough. The elevator was out, but the worst part was the staff member at check in. When we came back to the room after our event (close to 1am) our key cards were deactivated. Apparently, we were never checked in and our room was issued to someone else! They occupants walked in and saw our stuff then returned to the front desk. The check in girl was rude, argumentative, and then never actually checked us in! Terrible, unprofessional, and unsafe!

Upon arrival we were informed the elevator wasn’t working and the only rooms available were on the 3rd floor. Typically that wouldn’t be an issue but with 1 adult & 2 children, 1 being an infant it was difficult to get everything to the room & back down for checkout the next day Elevator didn’t work during stay

We showed up to check in and was told that the elevator broke down so everybody was on the first and second floor then about an hour after check-in the fire alarms went off in the building and we had to evacuate because someone put toast in the toaster and the toaster caught on fire so the whole downstairs area where we were on floor one smelled of burnt toast all night. It had been a worker that caused the toaster because the breakfast area was closed off to everyone else. There was never an apology to anyone or asking if anyone needed anything or if we were OK. The two workers that I saw there were outside. I never saw anyone check on the people that were staying there or make sure that everyone that was staying there was out of the building.

The hotel was close to Charlotte Motor Speedway. I usually do not give negative reviews, but I feel like this one is warranted. We attended the Coca-Cola 600 at CMS over the weekend. We checked in and immediately found that our refrigerator did not work and upon opening it, found that it still had food in it from the last guest. The lady working the front desk that night told us try and find a reset button on it. We checked and it did not have one. She was nice about the situation and told us she had no more available rooms that she could move us to, nor did she have a replacement mini fridge, but she did take our drinks and ice packs and put them in the office refrigerator overnight and we picked them up the next morning so she was willing to help us with that aspect. However, the longer we were in the room, we realized it had not been fully cleaned. When we pulled the drapes closed, they had a TERRIBLE stain on them (a stain that stretched the entire width of the drapes and they looked absolutely filthy. Later, my buddy went to take a shower and found that the shower still had hair from the last guest who stayed in the room. When we checked out the next morning, the front desk workers asked us how our stay was and we made them aware of the non-working refrigerator (to which they retrieved our drinks and ice packs) and I also made them aware of the drapes.The front desk worker said the hotel stayed booked and they had not had time to take the draped down for cleaning. I had even snapped a pic on my phone to show them. The part that bothers me about this whole situation is that the hotel did not even try and make it right by offering any type of discount on the bill for the issues we had. I will not stay here again nor will I recommend this hotel to travelers. I am extremely disappointed in this Sleep Inn location.

The bed was comfortable.melissa was very nice and cheerful.could be better if they take time out to update The tv remote didn’t work, no disturbed sign,only one lightbulb .eggs at breakfast looked and tasted powdery. Attend ent had boxes out from deliveries and left her work room opened with the water flowing and a dirty mop.coffee not good,the clocks are not synced so it made time of night confusing. I called front desk at 4 am and no response.mattress kept slipping off base.

The bathroom was in bad shape too — the sink would not drain at all, and there was visible mold in the shower. The microwave in the room (we had a suite) was filthy. Overall, the room just did not feel clean or well-maintained. We could strongly smell weed coming from other rooms throughout the night, so much so that I had to shove towels under the door to try to block it. On top of that, the noise from upstairs was unbearable — it sounded like a herd of elephants and people doing gymnastics until the early morning hours. We barely slept. The front desk staff were friendly and nice (That’s the 2 stars), but they were clearly short-staffed. They mentioned rooms were running behind on cleaning from the night before, which explained a lot. The breakfast was okay (nothing special), but it was hard to enjoy anything in the room because of how dirty it felt. For the price, I expected much better cleanliness and maintenance. This was not a restful or pleasant stay. I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again.

You get what you pay for. The rooms are definitely clean the area is definitely safe and the Price is beyond reasonable. With that said the front desk is horrible the woman that was working on the day I stayed was a very monotone had no personality and definitely had no customer service appeal. She did not care for anything but stating the rules. I travel very often and I am not particularly picky in a crunch, as long as you give me a clean safe area.. I'm okay with a basic hotel; but customer service is important!!! This front desk clerk had zero and I mean zero customer service, it made it so distasteful almost sick to my stomach to stay there after dealing with her. Its not asking much to pretend to be good at your job.

The room was functional but clearly outdated. A few things were broken or worn, and the curtains had a noticeable stale‑smoke smell. Noise was a major issue: the walls are extremely thin, and we could hear people talking and laughing in the halls at 3 AM, as well as someone getting sick in the room next door. Breakfast was simple but fine for a no‑frills hotel. We didn’t get to use the pool due to weather. The location is convenient, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel could attract more guests by offering a shuttle to Concord Regional Airport (about a mile away) or to the shops across the street, though this didn’t affect our rate. Check‑out was also impersonal—no staff present, just a bowl for key drop‑off. Overall, we didn’t mind our stay, but we wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

Shower was dirty. The door would move when other rooms door shut. The windows were terrible. It sounded like we were sleeping next to an interstate during rush hour. Didn't hardly sleep.

My room was at the end towards the highway, heard every pass truck and car.

Waffles As soon as we pulled up to check in, there was a man urinating by the lobby door. Elevators was broken so we had to carry all our stuff to the 3rd floor. As we were sleeping, we heard someone trying to open our door, which they did and turned light on. We yelled we are in here. I called front desk and told lisa what happened and she said she's trying to figure out why they came in. We went downstairs the next morning, no manager but spoke to housekeeping manager and they apologized, saying lisa hadn't finished processing our room, so room looked vacant. Lack of customer service and care is the reason why our review. Apologies just didn't cut it, should have made it right by refund, by invading our privacy. Again, when we left, no apology..I just said I hope this never happens to your family on vacation, in the middle of the night! Nothing, no response.

Location The $100 damage deposit hasn't been refunded as your policy said it would been upon leaving. The included breakfast was out of coffee at 9 am and the sausage was over cooked (hard). The shower curtain wasn't fir the step in shower causing water on the floor. The pool area and pool hasn't been cleaned in some time. The pool was green and had leaves. The pool door key didn't work either. Next door patrons was very loud and a very strong smell of weed even through out the hall ways.

I was able to sleep the bedding was clean. There was a stain that looked very suspect on the desk chair and there was a cigarette smell in the shower area that gave me pause. They said that police ride through often however there were drug deals being made in the parking lot weird men hanging around the parking lot trying to get my attention.

Checked in and they gave us room 240. Walked in the room and noticed the overhead curtain had red stains on it, the closet had a pair of black socks on the bottom, the wall beside the bed looked like someone had smeared boogers on it and the pillows were filthy. Also the toilet paper holder was missing off the bathroom wall. Went back down and told the receptionist my complaints and was moved to 247. Room 247 was clean the bathroom door was patched on the outside. The air conditioning worked great, the shower water temperature was good.

I could not get Wi-Fi in the first room I was assigned. I had to move to another room where the Wi-Fi worked on my laptop and iPad, but not on my phone. This was a very mediocre experience.

The difference between what is shown online vs in-person is significantly different. Our room was small, and seemed a bit rundown with a dirty desk chair and the mattress platforms had peeling molding with particle board exposed. Battery cover for the tv remote was missing, and the bathroom sink looked old and one faucet you had to find a neutral spot to stop the water flow. The corners of the floor at the shower were moldy. The breakfast bar was quite lacking and a woman was serving food with the same gloves she had been emptying the trash with… All in all, not a good experience for the money I paid.

The front desk lady was very rude when I was checking in- not polite. The check in desk area smelled like a dog kennel. The hallways smelled like marijuana and when I woke up the next morning my bathroom smelted like that also. AC/ heat was not working in the room.Neighbors were jumping above us until 1am and started again at 4am. The back door states “Exit only” but we got in because the doesn’t lock. When we left this morning at 6am the door was propped open -Safety concerns. My friends and travel a lot and I would not recommend this property.

My room was clean and well made. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. I have stayed at this location several times without any issues. My only very minor issue is that the bed mattress slides on the platform it rests on. That could be an issue for someone who may have some physical disability issues.

None of that too bad but when I woke up to a roach on the wall, that made me angry and THEN I got charged another $100 at checkout. Staff said it was immediately given back but it still hit my account. That needs to be taken care of ASAP because being charged $100 to stay and to leave is CRAZY! I know she said it was a mistake but after seeing the roach I was pissed and ready to go home.

Great environment, besides the one truck that took up half the parking spots this place is great. There was no loud music or guest. The staff was great especially the woman who works in the afternoon with the gray and white hair. I forgot her name but she is great thank you.

Because it was processed this way, I had to make multiple calls to the hotel and corporate location of Choice Hotel International to complain about this. I was charged on 2/20/26, and was told on 2/24/26 that a credit was processed, but it could take up to 4-7 days or something like that to see it. The problem is that since I was charge over just holding the funds on the card, I do NOT see anything on my end. How am I to know that anything was going to go the way it needed to, if I cannot see it? I was planning on staying here again for my next trip, twice a year, but not after this.

I was simply asking about the incidental fee and why it was taken out of my account and I hadn't even left the hotel yet. I have stayed at many hotels and it was always "pending/processing but never deducted first. She said very nasty that it will be reapplied in 5-7 business days. She kept talking over me when I was asking a question and she just kept dismissing me. In all my travels I've never met such a rude person like this. I also called the corporate office to let them know about this incident. Maybe she had a bad morning but Like I said to her, she should never talk to customers like that.If she is here when I visit Charlotte next time (and I'm here often to visit grandchildren) I will have to pass and check into another hotel. She is very unprofessional. Love your hotel but if she continues to talk to customers that way you will lose them. The pictures were broken in the room and they tried to charge me for it and I told them that it was broken initially and they said they would not charge me but they did charge me then I had to wait just receive my money back from that wasn’t a good experience will not book again

Hyppolene & Urvi were kind & sweet; please give them a raise & do all you can to keep them! The breakfast attendant was great & we tipped her. Sadly, upon arrival, I had the worst hotel check in experience of my life with Angelica. She exhibited hostility,acting as if she was inconvenienced! We stay in hotels frequently & I’ve never been treated this badly. Her rudeness created tension, caused me to feel very uncomfortable, instantly regretting my decision to stay at the Concord Sleep Inn. Angelica’s negative energy was so pervasive, I actually asked if she was “always this friendly” just to let her know how inappropriate & impolite she was. She started arguing telling me I was instigative & talked over me, never once apologizing. She didn’t want to answer additional questions, insulting me saying that “the older generation didn’t show respect”. Apparently, she was oblivious to the disrespectful manner in which she initially treated me. Not everyone should be working with the public. Perhaps Angelica never had the proper training in how to greet hotel guests? Maybe she had an off night but that’s still not okay . I’ve given workshops on how to properly treat customers! My company would never have hired her. Maybe paying higher wages would attract more caring employees? This is the first time I’ve ever given a review like this. 😔 P. S. • specific prices or room rates • profanity • personal information BOTH stays (two weeks apart) were disastrous. - The last one {which I was there 10 minutes} an unhinged woman employee was complaining to the manager, about me, trying to get me thrown out of the hotel. - My wife and I immediately left.

I recorded everything. I was still walking down the hall, not quite to the door and I heard the woman say, to the desk lady "Oh my G@D did you hear how the man talked to me??" - Best decision for me and my wife to leave, and not stay for our stay. The hotel we came to everybody is nice, and the TV plays in English.

The room suited our needs for the weekend. Front desk was pleasant. The only thing I could complain about is that cleaning came while we were still getting dressed for the day. Told her that we would be gone in about 20 minutes. She never came back to clean or replenish towels or anything. We had to get more towels from front desk. Overall is was an okay stay and would probably stay there again.

The breakfast could have used a few more items and the seating area was small. Other than that the hotel was great.

I was initially given a room of substandard quality. The window was dirty and there was extreme noise from the highway. The lamp shade was dirty and the refrigerator had water all in it. Couldn't hear the TV without increasing the volume due to the loud noise from the highway. I asked for another room. The clerk did provide it. It was way better but I expected a suite. The beds were proper doubles. It smelled way better while the other room smelled stale. I have no idea why the clerk put me in that horrible room initially. The new room was quieter though there was still some noise and the furniture was better with proper double beds unlike the other room. The window was clean. I couldn't see out the one in the other room. Should have taken a photo. The clerk did not offer me the same opportunity she gave the customer ahead of me at check-in if I wanted to stay another day, what to do. She did accomodate my change & gave me a coupon for food at a local restaurant. Also, the breakfast area TV had on Fox News. It should have had a neutral local channel on whereas they were belittling Americans who were going to protest that day. Not something you want to hear early in the morning. The hot water for tea was cold. My microwave in the room did not work properly/spin but heated up the water. The elevator jerks hard when landing. I did like my new room. Wished I had it initially at check-in. The breakfast was good. Overall, l did have a nice stay with the room change.

It was a good value! It felt like an older hotel. The key card was hard to use. The door latch was broken. Breakfast was just ok. But good for one night.

It was not in correctly or it was just old because it felt like the traffic on the highway was so loud like the window was open, but it wasn't also the drapes were so old they had holes in them! that really is the only complaint!

There must be ZERO sound proofing at this facility!! Sounded like the interstate traffic (nearby) was literally in the room with us! The a/c unit “white noise” was not even sufficient to drown it out.

It was ok, though overpriced. Maintenance was lacking and the beds were... Not good. Shower curtain did nearly nothing and the floor was absolutely covered in water after taking a shower. On the plus side it was quiet and the AC worked like a champ.

Then they stuck me in another room next to it same thing filthy floor not swept after they stick me into one more room wasn’t as dirty but bed mattress and lamps stained the lady said she checked it and nothing was wrong with it then she was rude to me said I’m so sorry it’s not up to your standards I was like how is clean not a standard wouldn’t give me my money back so I was stuck and when I went to get my stuff out of my car their was a man leaning on my car and he had his stuff thrown in the hood of my car so I felt unsafe as well very disappointed the pictures they gave kn the web sight are not of this hotel even though it says it is it’s not very misleading I will never go to another sleep inn and suites in my life or anything affiliated with them I really think I need some of my money back I had to go to Walmart and get cleaning supplies and clean it myself . after paying 849.00 you think it would have been clean . I would add the pictures but no place to do so but I will be contacting corporate not that it will do any good they really need to clean up the concord mills hotel it’s bad.

The property needs to be updated, customer service was great but we had to return to service desk twice once for a broken air conditioner moved rooms and could get in the door and the microwave was broken.

I ended up not staying after the door knob fell off the door we got a different room but felt unsafe and decided to just drive home instead and I did a cash deposit that was not given back even though I didn’t even spend the night here.

Needed a room last minute for a work conference, easy parking and rooms are clean and comfy.

It was a comfortable place to spend the night after a concert. There was opened soap by the sink and someone had used a towel before we checked in. The continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. The eggs were watery, the waffle maker didnt work, but the bacon was good, coffee tolerable. I'm glad theres a Starbucks near by.

At night, the hallways smelled like weed marijuana. Some people were smoking marijuana in their brooms, and it was seeping out into the hallways.

This hotel has potential. It requires a deep cleaning as the walls of my room had stains and unknown liquids on them. The carpet smelled old and mildew. The curtains haven’t been washed in a long time. I will say, it is a convenient location.

Please do yourself a favor and pass on this hotel! There are so many more nearby! Terrible experience that just got worse... I'm truly shocked that this property hasn't received worse reviews. I'm pretty easy going and tolerant, but this place was a nightmare and charges an undisclosed additional $ deposit on top of Expedia price. It had horrible rooms, we were literally afraid of a drug addict passed out in the lobby alcove and bugs in the room!! So many more issues but I'll stop here... buyer beware!

Room smelled like laundry left in the washing machine too long. Breakfast options were very limited as nothing had been restocked. No milk for the cereal was out. No jelly for toast. Refrigerator for milk and yogurt was empty. No fruit.

The staff was nice but not very professional or knowledgeable in what they were doing. The exterior was okay. But the entire hotel had a weird smell from cleaning supplies I assume. Everything could have been cleaner overall. As a mom there with a friend and my children I didn’t exactly feel safe. There is a severe lack of parking. They keep the door to the pool door propped open which is a huge safety concern. Overall it just wasn’t the best experience.

This review is for Expedia. I reserved a room with 2 full beds and a sofa bed through Expedia. I get to the hotel and there is no mattress in the sofa bed I was told they no longer advertise sofa bed and that you were false advertising a sofa bed. I spoke to an Expedia agent, through chat, and was told I would receive an emial about compensating me for this issue. I have not received the email.

This was a nice hotel for the price, so value was great. Upgraded bath and facility but the bathroom is very small. Has everything you need and is neat and clean but not much space. Overall, a good experience and close to lots of activities. Shopping, dining, Great Wolf Lodge, highway access, etc.

Room service ( changing the bed, towels, etc. ) were only done 2X a week. Any hotel I’ve ever stayed in came with daily service. The air conditioning was very loud. The outside of the air conditioning unit was dirty. The back of the tv remote was missing and there was tape holding the batteries in. The size of the bathroom was very small. I would NEVER stay there again.

Upon entrance to the lobby, there was a noticeable odor of marijuana but there was no odor in the room and it was gone in the morning at check out.

I was devastating surprised with the smelly sour order from hallway to suite. The elevator was not swept where debris was on the floor and it smelled like vomit. The lobby were not well lit which it smellem

Over night stay a nice choice

Not only did we not get the room we booked, there was mold in the bathroom and around the sink. When we checked out (20 minutes after checking in) was told there was nothing they could do.

Was pretty much ok, but the breakfast was disappointing. The breakfast is supposed to be until 9:30, but at 8:45 there were certain items missing. When asked was told they would not replace them. Also, you have doors that are supposed to be accessible with your room card. Neither of them would work. So you have to go all the way to the front door.

I had the worst hotel experience of my life here. I booked in advance and specifically requested an early check-in. I was told to arrive by 11 AM and that there would be a fee, which I agreed to. However, when I arrived—traveling with my one-year-old and nine-year-old children—the front desk receptionist, a tall woman with long eyelashes, greeted me with a very rude, “Why are you here? Check-in time is 3 PM.” I explained that I had spoken to someone who instructed me to arrive at 11 AM. She snapped, “I’ve been here all day and I haven’t spoken to anyone,” essentially implying I was lying. Her tone was dismissive and confrontational from the start. Trying to stay calm, I said we could come back at 3 PM but asked if we could leave our luggage somewhere safe while we grabbed lunch. Her response? “What do you think this is? I don’t have time to watch your stuff, I am busy and have things to do!” Then she added, “This is no boogie hotel, we don’t have a luggage room. If you want a boogie hotel, this is not it.” I was absolutely shocked—not only by her unprofessionalism but also by her disrespectful comments about the hotel she works for. I told her that her behavior was unacceptable and left with my kids to find another hotel. I requested a refund that same day, and four days later, it’s still “under review” because they apparently need authorization from the supervisor. This delay is completely unacceptable given the circumstances.
