Best Western Plus Commerce Hotel

Very clean and friendly staff but the king size bed was very hard and the pillows were flimsy . Close to a major freeway which was convenient for us. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was broken. Room can definitely use a reno but was ok for the price. The breakfast was just ok. Very good coffee. There was construction going on and a lot of big rigs in the small parking lot but surprisingly not noisy at all. All in all was just ok for a first trip to LA. Will look for somewhere less commercial next time.

I asked to get trash re.oved which i had ready and to get new bags as well clean towels when they where going to start on there cleaning . We never did so I had to approach the housekeeping employees for it.and get it our self

The breakfast was surprisingly good, with a wide variety of options and fresh food. The breakfast area was clean and well organized. The pool area was also reasonably clean and pleasant. The hotel is much more worn out than it appears in the photos. The pictures create the impression of a modern property, but the interior is outdated and shows significant signs of wear. There was an unpleasant smell in some areas, and overall the hotel feels tired and overpriced for its current condition.

Nothing!!! They Canceled our Reservation Mid flight in. A hour before arrival Great thing southwest have wifi so I was notified They literally have the pay at property Option.. (Pay at Property) They canceled our Anniversary Stay and said they had no knowledge of that option… But booking.com most definitely have it available… Apparently after Running my old card a few times before I got there, the canceled. Not to mention the system would not even let me update the card! Staff was soooooooo RUDE!!! Ruined our Anniversary!!!

I really loved the variety in the breakfast choices and I loved the fitness center First room we were in had a horrible sewer smell in the bathroom coming from the drain. They came and just sprayed air freshener in the bathroom but that didn’t solve it. They then moved us rooms and that bathroom had a clogged sink and shower which was gross. Luckily maintenance took care of it right away. The beds were really firm which was uncomfortable. The elevators took forever too.

This has been our go to place to stay for 5 years. No complaints the staff is very nice and helpful the rooms are always clean. Always a good experience staying here with my family kid friendly. Keep up the good hospitality.

I liked the ease of check-in and the attentiveness of the front desk staff, who provided wonderful customer service. The variety of choices for the breakfast foods was plentiful, and the overall quality of the food offered was nice. Unfortunately, the breakfast area is shockingly small. There is nowhere near enough seating to accommodate the number of guests who packed the area. It could best be described as a chaotic free-for-all with very little space to maneuver comfortably. Both mornings, my husband and I had to grab what we could and scurry back to our room to have breakfast on the bed.

Room size, amenities such as coffee, minibar, bed, free parking, and flavored water. This hotel is completely clueless and holds an event until 10 PM on the first floor on a Saturday night, with loud music, irritating noise, and a total lack of common sense.

My only issue was at checkout on 6/1 around 9:30 a.m. The front desk associate was rude and on her phone during our conversation. She insisted I go back to my room to retrieve the keys, then refused to provide a checkout receipt or confirmation. When I asked how I would know if there were any additional charges, she simply told me to wait 5–7 business days for my bank account to update. Overall, the hotel and most of the staff were excellent, but the checkout experience left a disappointing final impression.

It had everything we needed. The beds and temperature in the room were perfect. My son enjoyed the pool. The free breakfast was also very good. Last but not least the free parking space helped a lot. Staff were very understanding and accommodating with my canceled flight issues., the bed was comfortable and breakfast was wonderful. The air conditioning unit in the room was quiet loud and my bathroom door stuck badly, but I could overlook those things. Had I been staying with someone, i imagine it would have been an issue noise wise

Comfortable and lots of amenities. The bathroom had a gap in the door for the shower which made a leak into the entry way. This was a headache because it became dangerous walking out of the bathroom into the sleeping area. Should fix that so that there is no leak.

The manager moved us to a different room after we complained -The shower flooded the whole room -Whole room smelled like sewage waste -We could hear the room next to us being super loud at 2am when we showed up -the second room had spiders all on the bed big spiders -they put a hold on my bank account for 1,100 after they clearly stated it was only going to be a hold for $100

Staying here was enjoyable. I liked that for breakfast there are many options to choose from and the food was pretty good. The staff are really nice at the front desk, always smiling and speaking to guests. I also enjoyed the free coffee and tea in the lobby. Also the rooms were great as well spacious and clean! Oh I also liked that there a food places nearby and a Walmart which is pretty convenient. There is not anything not to like.

Clean and all of the staff is super friendly. If I ever have to stay in commerce again I will definitely be staying here. Overall good central location you can walk or take Ubers. Friendly staff and clean all you can really ask for at that price point. Was not much to complain about. The only thing was not allowing us to use the restroom without a key in the lobby I had to run upstairs since my wife had the key. But the crew was overall great and took care of us well.

It’s exactly what you see in the pictures and what you book. The rooms are nice, and the bathroom is very spacious. The continental breakfast is what really sold it for us—great selection and very delicious! Plus, free parking and friendly customer service made the stay even better. The TV mount was tilted, and the remote didn’t work. Additionally, the listing advertised two queen beds, but they appeared to be double beds. I specifically chose this place for the queen beds, so it was disappointing to find that the information on the website didn’t match what was actually provided.

Our stay was fine but once I got my credit card statement, I saw that they charged me $100 more for each of the two rooms that I confirmed through Expedia. Not happy that I now have to fight with the bank/hotel to get this resolved.

Breakfast options were great, plenty of parking, and friendly staff. My only issues were the smell of the bathroom - smelled like sewage, and the receiver for the TV is mounted in an inconvenient spot; couldn’t change the channel unless you were on the side of the TV. Other than that - I would definitely stay again!

The water was not hot throughout our stay especially in the afternoon where we paid for a late check out so we could shower and change before flying 14hrs home and it was ice cold. Also there was not adequate lighting in the room.

The hotel did not return the deposit. We were told that it would take 3-5 days and till this day nothing. I would like it resolved.

Bathroom and bed linen was not clean. The sheets on the other bed had a blood stain. Staff was friendly and breakfast was decent.

The shower faucet is shaky. Both the tub and the sink are clogged. After showering, you will be standing in a pond of soap water. The tub is not very clean either. Stain can be seen

Stayed here before. This time was just as good as last time. Nice clean rooms, very comfy beds, nice breakfast room & tasty breakfast options. Front desk staff are always friendly & welcoming. All around a good experience!

It was a good stay, my only complaint will be that the pool towels provided are too small. They are small kid size, it was perfect for my 3 year old but for my 9 year he needed two towels so just imagine for an adult.

Upon departure, I notified the front desk again so that the next person won't be suprised the AC wasnt working.

Everything was fine, room was older but clean, the bed was clean, the bathroom couldve been cleaner, we found ants on the sink. Other than that Everything was fine

This place looks exactly like their photos! Breakfast was great and spacious and the staff were friendly and welcoming! The hotel is just prime location with Am/pm right across the street and direct access to the freeway! Shopping centers close! We stayed here for my daughter’s soccer tournament.

Staff were great. Unfortunately, there is a burnt out Denny’s from a fire earlier in the year. The washroom toilet was not clean when we entered the room. Breakfast was okay, not a lot of fruit selection.

This may not be something for Best Western to do, but the burned property of Denny's needs to be rebuilt or torn down. Xiomara was a wonder hostess! The bed was comfortable and the swimming pool was perfectly heated for a morning swim.

The hotel was amazing, the lady that helped us was new and being trained by another employee but she was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was the BEST!!!! They had several options but I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Location from DTLA was about a 30-40 min drive so not to bad. We saw a diverse crowd of young adults and international travelers.

I’m disputing a 250$ smoking charge that was charged to my credit card! We did not smoke our room! This is absurd and ridiculous! I’m very disappointed and upset about this! Horrible to charge this to us when we know damn well no one smoked nothing in that room.

Our go to hotel when visiting Los Angeles. Great center location between Disneyland and Universal. Short drive from downtown and Dodgers stadium as well. Staff is always friendly and rooms well maintained.

This hotel has become my GoTo when traveling to Vernon for work. It’s a basic, simple, clean hotel that has wonderful customer service with a good rate.

This has been the worst Best Western we have Ever been too. Everytime I turned on the television it would say no signal and a staff member needed to come. On the second trip we had to wait more than 2 hrs and no body showed up at all. The breakfast was too salty so we ate the cereal, egg and waffles instead. Please fix the tvs and breakfast, beside that our stay was manageable.

Issues is that they don’t come even if you ask to clean your rooms are change the lien we had to ask for fresh towels even tissue a few times ! My issue was the lake of concern when it came to cleaning the rooms. Other than that our stay was great breakfast was fresh every morning.

Every thing was awesome. The only thing was that we stopped by at 11:00 am to see if we can check in, instead of 3:00 pm. We were charged 34.00 even though the room was clean and ready for us. Hopefully time wise can be earlier than 3:00 pm as far as check in for future stays without fee. Overall I would definitely recommend and stay here again. Thank you.

The cleanliness continued in the rooms. Our beds were very comfortable and even though our window faced the freeway, we didn’t hear a lot of noise or bothered by any lights. We didn’t even notice any extra noise so that was amazing. Also, the shower had lots of extras available and has great water pressure. We had an incident with our bathroom faucet, and the maintenance staff operated very quickly and changed it out for us without hesitation to ensure we wouldn’t have any future problems. We were blown away by their quick action to replace the faucet and didnt have any issues the remainder of our stay. The breakfast area had a great selection and there was even a coffee station that had mochas/lattes etc. The selection changed daily which was very nice for us staying the week. I also have to give a special acknowledgment for the on site security. We had some late nights returning to the hotel and the security was in the parking lot at all times and made us feel very safe to park and walk to the entrance. Didn’t catch his name, but the security guard was so helpful.

When we checked in, we were told that the room would be serviced every other day. We stayed 7 nights and they only serviced the room once. We were left with full trash cans, no toilet paper, no hand soap. We had to keep calling to request new towels but they did not take the wet ones so also left with a pile of wet towels. For the price of this hotel, there is no excuse for only cleaning the room once in a week. Also, parking is very limited and view was of a burned out Dennys. Do better Best Western!

My experience at this hotel was wonderful. Easy check in, SUPER FRIENDLY staff, great parking. The entire hotel smelled great, the rooms were remodeled and cleaning service was provided every day. I spent 4 days on vacation and it was convenient, all the popular places are about 30 minutes away. The best of all was the breakfast, and the two ladies who served us were very friendly and helpful. These are just a few words. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay an exceptional destination.

The hotel claimed that it didn't have our second reservation for my son's room. Hotel clerk said reservation was cancelled. I didn't cancel the reservation and neither did Expedia. I was very happy with my stay. The place was clean & parking was free on site. The beds were comfortable & the water pressure in the shower was awesome. I stayed here to catch a Lyft into Boyle Heights for a concert. There is a Denny’s right next door & Ozzy’s Diner is a couple blocks away. I slept soundly & could not hear any noise outside. The swimming pool looked nice & clean. This was an excellent stay for a good price. I would absolutely stay here again.

This is a perfect location whether traveling alone or as a family. First of all the ENTIRE hotel staff was friendly, professional and engaging. They were very eager to solve any issues we had and very accommodating in doing so. The facilities were clean and maintained very well. The rooms were clean, high pressure showers with constant hot water. Mattress provide a very comfortable and quality sleeping experience. The best was the more breakfast, a very good variety of cold and hot options. Vegetarian options were also available during our stay. The dining area was very cleaned and food was replaced quickly, never witnessed food running out, which was amazing because the area was always full from individuals, coupes and entire families with children. The staff was always eager to assist in making the stay very enjoyable. Will definitely stay there again and highly recommend this location. If the entire chain is like this hotel, I found my new go to stay when traveling. The dollar value was exceptional for this location and best of all free parking with 24 constant security provided.

First time to stay in Best Western Plus. The hotel is clean and the staffs are nice.

Staying in Los Angeles is pricey and you have to be ready to get charged for things (like parking) that you may not get charged for in other places. This hotel offered far more services without extra charges, had free parking, was clean, the grounds appeared secure, even though it is in more of an industrial type neighborhood. It wasn't immediately accessible to I-5, but close enough to get to it and leave without a lot of hassle. Staff was attentive and friendly. Breakfast was ample and staff kept it well-stocked during breakfast hours.

Was clean and look nice but it was our 40th anniversary we had a side door that was connected to another room what is weird is the neighbors were very loud and laughing and talking so loud then stay up late probably drinking. Husband couldn’t sleep what is strange if we called desk they might yell at us… will never go there again. Even breakfast had so many customers so I decided not to stand in a long line so we left early.
