    Upon arrival we were asked if we would like refresh/house keeping during our stay of 5 days, we said yes. Not once did we get any service. On day 3, I asked the desk to make sure we were indeed on the list for services, asked for fresh towels and what to do with our garbage, seeing we had a kitchen/suite with food rubbish and no garbage bags were in any of our receptacles to start. Day 4, again no services and we were now out of toilet paper. To the front desk again we went. The floors were tacky and the carpets left our socks dirty. They offer free coffee in the lobby, but if it is after breakfast hours, they did not have half and half or plain creamer (I asked the front desk) which meant they had no sugar free options. There is a side entrance, which states that your room key should open it, but it never worked for us.

    Booking.com made this experience bad. I can’t totally blame the property because booking was the ones who originally promised me something but did not follow thru on commitment. They had baby roaches. Sofa bed was broken. I did not want to report this, but since I did not receive what I was promised, I wanted everyone to know my experience.

    I was in Columbus Georgia for an event at Columbus State University and I wanted a hotel close by. I was pleasantly surprised by how well equipped my room was I've never stayed at a Townplace before. I had a king bed, beautiful big TV, a full kitchen and a large coffee pot with coffee. Compared to the prices of hotels in the area and especially downtown I was a little iffy about the place but it was wonderful I would stay there again in fact some of the people at the conference were complaining about the cost of a few of the hotels they were staying at at the riverfront and I said should have gone to the Marriott

    This hotel was really good 10yrs ago. Now it looks like they have never done anything to maintain it. We arrived last Wednesday and after seeing the deterioration of the dining area, and the moldy smell that came out of our room, we tried to leave. Unfortunately we had paid for the whole stay from Wed. last week until today Wed. The hotel refused to refund us our money and we had to stay. We ask Sunday why our room had not beencleaned and we're told that that the reason they had not cleaned was because there was a leak in our room. There was no leak in our room, and we assume that if there was, they would have moved us to another room. We ask for someone to come in and clean, and all they did was make the bed and bring new towels. Both supposedly clean towels had what looked like puvic hair. My wife went outside and asked one of the clears to exchange them. The breakfast was good last week Wednesday but since then it was the same watery scrambled eggs and por sausages. The dining benches and chairs are so worn out that part of the bench was patched up but the other part was still coming apart.

    Room was not made up. Staff didn’t care. Handed us clean towels. Told us. The manager would be in touch with compensation, but we’ve never heard from them. Dinning area was worn out furniture and buffet was not displayed well and seemed unapealind. Bathroom had very little room for personal toiletries. .

Great lived the staff and it was very clean

    The dish washer kept going and going. I'm glad we didn't leave the room to come back to it flooding the room or burning up. Also, the stove fan and light didn't work. One of the bedside lamps didn't work. I know it's little things but, I would think they have a maintenance employee on the premises just for the little things.

    I enjoyed the whole stay until I get up yesterday and there's 2 extra 300 $ charges. Put my account in negative, I have no clue how I'm going to take care of my mom and survive all month. My card was charged for a extra 600!

The tvs would turn the volume to 100 every time you would change the channel so we had neighbors complaining about the noise. They had free breakfast and variety of options. Great stay if you’re only staying for one night. I liked the location which was close to a few clubs, the mall and a couple restaurants.

    We called down to the front desk both evenings to ask a question. 1st night it was to verify breakfast times....rang for 10 min and then a man answered "hello" and didn't sound like he worked there. I asked what time breakfast ended and he said maybe 11 or 12 noon....I knew that was wrong and called him out. He said things were going on and to hold so he could get me a front desk person. 2nd night we called about check-out time and again waited for an answer for about 10 minutes. Check out at noon is wonderful! However no mention that they were just going to close breakfast early. Supposed to be 9:30am, we went at 9 and everything was being put away. The lady was super grumpy when asked to unlock the yogurt since the hot food was already put away...she said she wasn't even going to do hot food since it was so slow......I expect the HOT BREAKFAST like we are supposed to get and within the open times that we are told so this was disappointing and the lady was so so rude and grumpy about it.

    Well we had a couple issues with the room the first room we were in the air was not working in the master bedroom and the door didn’t lock so we were moved to another room and in the master bedroom that door didn’t lock either but we had great service the staff was wonderful and they accommodated us as much as they were able to we frequent this hotel so hopefully our next stay will be better

    Nice property. The room was nice however the refrigerator seemed to have kept going in and out and not keeping our items cold. The doors also opened towards the wall and the fridge door scrubbed the floor which made it difficult for our senior adults to use the appliance.

    I stayed in room 130. It was nice I would stay again. The only issue I had which I have at a lot of hotels is that the bed is soft. I like a firm mattress.

    The staff, especially the front desk management was wonderful. Very friendly and she was immediately responsive when the toilet plugged and fixed it. Also had a worker come up and look at it after that. It's not her fault, but the room could be detail cleaned. Very scummy where the tile meets the rug. Corners have dog hair and crumbs.room smelled a little like vomit initially and the air conditiioner leaks and makes the floor wet or else something was spilled near/under it. The room needs work and did not really match the high quality pics in the photos. Cleaning staff could be bettter but the desk staff was fantastic. Nice clean lobby.

    Review: In comparison to other TownePlace suites Marriott that I’ve seen, this one was quite disappointing. even the lobby area was that of a much less costly hotel. The breakfast was a joke. There was no fresh anything, not even the fruit. They had packaged sausage biscuits and egg And ham croissants. They had the refrigerated unit locked as I was told that the temperature was not cold enough and if they got inspected, they’d be written up for it. The first night in the room, we had no TV. Nobody came up When I called. They just said that they had heard some complaints from other guest and that they would move me to another room. This was after we traveled nine hours and went out to eat and came home at 9 o’clock. That would’ve been a huge inconvenience to change rooms. The next day they did fix it. The room seemed clean enough, however, no one came in to make the beds or anything on our second night. Their main reason/excuse for a lot of things that were sub standard, was that it was not busy for them. So I guess that’s why things were just not up to par. I must say that the young ladies at the desk were very sweet and as accommodating as they could be. I did complain about the TV and told them that we need to be compensated for having no TV in a hotel that was over $100 a night. She did take off one night fee, which was a huge compensation and we were happy with that. I do not blame the employees for the lack of accommodations and services of this hotel. This was purely ma

    Property was very clean and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the traffic but convenient enough to adequate shopping and dining interests.     On arrival the dishwasher was still running. I left for dinner and on return it was still running. The previous guest left food in refrigerator that never was cleaned. No ice except tray in refrigerator which I chose not to use considering the unkempt room. The toilet stopped working and the coffee machine didn’t work either. Oh yeah and hole in carpet.

    Bathroom needed minor repairs such as wall under shower head, wall near shower faucet. Rug needs replacing by window and front door. All from room 122. Unacceptable for a Marriott hotel I accustomed to stay at.also, air conditioner broke down during last night. Again, unacceptable for the amount of money I paid.

    Front desk service was friendly and helpful. But hotel room smelled musty and old, door deadbolt kept triggering as we left room taking some work to close every time, the shower required all kinds of maneuvering to make it work. Breakfast was pretty lackluster. Very close to highway so lots of traffic noise and could hear people above us walkimg around. Would not plan on staying here again.
