I was cautious at first by the appearance at the entrance, but was pleasantly surprised. Room was simple but clean, staff was pleasant, housekeepers were nice. I had absolutely zero complaints. If youare looking for fancy this isn't for you. If you want simple affordable and clean go ahead and book

AC wasn’t working, make up on the “clean” towels. Mattress was too small for bed frame, ended up injuring my knee since it stuck out.

It was clean and worked well for a quick stop while rolling through town. Bed was comfortable and AC worked well.

However, our reserved rooms had been given away upon our arrival, so they had to accommodate us on separate floors. Not a great scenario when traveling with two kids.

Walkability to downtown entertainment and restaurants is excellent. They're clearly updating the exterior and rooms of the property. Quiet. The bathroom, sink area and room itself was clean. Check-in/out was handled in a professional, friendly manner. Breakfast provided...which is nice, especially at this price point (didn't partake to comment good or bad.) Bed was very comfortable. Minor issues: No "Do Not Disturb" sign present (mentioned to front desk staff - never received.) Plastic bag wrapped around the smoke detector (just removed.) More serious issues: Sink was completely stopped up - mentioned to the front desk and was promptly handled. 2 large cock roaches observed - 1 on the wall (I killed) and 1 lying dead on the floor, where they obviously had sprayed. Most serious issue: The bed spread and linens appeared very old/stained in places. While I don't believe they were dirty, the age/stains gave it that appearance. Time for some new linens.

The bathroom was dirty when we went but everything else was clean. The breakfast was a poor excuse for a breakfast with the only real things being coffee and pancakes served.

I've stayed here twice already! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great "home base" and an easy walk to downtown. More bang for your buck! I'll definitely be back.

Everything from the staff to the fact that they changed my booking before I even said anything to booking. And not to mention charged my card twice. Tried to say it didn't go through had I not went back after I spoke to customer service bout my card and was told that yes it was approved and u have a extra charge of 383 that won't be returned to ur card til the 7th of Feb. Then today they say it's less money being held and it'll be the 8th of Feb. So I give them a 0 out of a 100.

Based on the reviews, this motel was once a disaster and has now been renovated. They have done a nice job. The rooms are nice and the place seems well run. Good secure parking. Excellent location right downtown. What did bother me is that the windows are tiny so that little natural light comes into the rooms and you feel a bit like you're in a prison cell.

We were there for one night and it wasn’t bad for a “cheap” hotel! It’s an old hotel and it shows but it’s clean and the service is good!!

The beds were comfortable. Three adults yet there was only two towels in the bathroom. Bathroom was NOT clean ( especially the toilet!) A bit run down but painted. Man running the office was nice and polite. Breakfast was lame so we found a restaurant.

The Tv controller didn't work, the toliet seat was improperly attached nor was it secured right.,the shower bar was hanging down about to fall off the wall.

Decent stay waking distance to the heart of downtown Columbus. Rooms are small but clean, have a mini fridge, microwave, hairdryer. They also have an onsite laundry machine for guest that cost $4 to wash and dry. Would have like to have had a smart tv so you could watch Netflix or Amazon on the tv. I did not try the breakfast but was told they didn’t have coffee. They were friendly and changed the towels in the room daily which was nice.

It was ok besides my room air conditioner not cooling properly. I was giving the option to move to another room but I was about to head to an event and really didn’t have time and by the time I got back in I didn’t feel like moving all my things to another room. They just need to check appliances before booking etc.

You get what you pay for. Hotel(motel) is in the great location so to get a room for low price would be impossible. Breakfest - do not expect too much, veeeery limited choices. Room is ok - again - its more like a motel. I'd stay here again for 1 night because of price and convenience.

The “continental breakfast” (available between 6am-9am) consisted of apples, oranges, juice, cold cereal, bread, yogurt, and a pancake maker that didn’t work. And you can’t forget about the microwaveable “old folks” breakfast sausage sandwiches that were rubbery and tasteless, something I’m sure even the old folks in a home wouldn’t enjoy. The “dining area” did have a Folgers machine that worked but the gentleman at the desk did seem concerned when I went in there to get coffee in the afternoon/evening. Overall, would never stay again!

The door didn't even sealed properly. It locked but barely. There was a giant crack letting all the heat out all night. At least it was a clean place. A big deal was made about breakfast but it was a couple pancakes and a coffee machine.

There were roaches in the hotel rooms, the parking was so cramped it was hard to get in and out of our space, the staff didn’t speak fluent English in some cases, and the continental breakfast was really just the pancake machine and boiled eggs.

Our sleep was horrible, the walls were that thin we were woken up at 2am by the occupant’s in the next week with the TV blasting as they were getting jiggy with it. When we went down for breakfast at around 8:55am, we had a look around and my son decided on pancakes, the machine had said it was out of the mixture so I spoke to the person on duty and he told me breakfast finished at 9am which is why it wasn’t available. I looked at my watch and it just clicked over to 9am. It was really disappointing we weren’t informed of the breakfast times as most “hotels” run breakfast slightly later on a Saturday. If I knew this was the case, I wouldn’t have packed the car first. Definitely do not recommend this motel masquerading as a hotel.

Overall the experience was great. It’s not a 5 star hotel but for what you pay it was a very decent hotel, it was clean, quiet, the beds were comfortable and seemed clean. It exceeded what I expected and I am very pleased with my stay. I will be returning.

This hotel was great for the price, my fiance was graduating boot camp it was close to Fort Moore. The riverwalk was close enough if the weather had been better we could've walked there. The staff was nice and friendly, housekeeping kept us with clean towels and sheets everyday. They did have a small breakfast available, consisting of boiled eggs, pancakes, frozen sausage biscuits, cereal and yogurts. I'll be back in May. Thank you for the great service

The staff was nice and friendly, housekeeping kept us with clean towels and sheets everyday. They did have a small breakfast available, consisting of boiled eggs, pancakes, frozen sausage biscuits, cereal and yogurts. I'll be back in May. Thank you for the great service

Only 2 thin towels for the 2 of us. We are tall and I have long hair. Very inconvenient. No toilet paper. We did not realize that until the middle of the night. The way our room was hidden from view felt very unsafe. And don’t know why they charge a $60 hold for incidentals when there’s no room service. What would that be for?

Clean quiet and sufficient for our needs. Some minor repairs would help, but for the price it was a great value! Freezer was actually freezing! Bedding was clean but there was a slight oder. Perhaps a better detergent? Or cleaning the washing machine drums would fix that. May have been from the pillow inside the case, didn't check. I'm the only 1 who noticed it.

The area was horrible and when asked if I could see the room before I pay, his response was “I’m sorry I cannot because you know there are prostitutes and such.” It was a very dirty and not maintained hotel.

The place was clean, quiet and cozy. It was an older building (1980’s maybe) but was freshly tiled and painted. Everything worked. No bugs. AC was typical with fan running constantly until I set it to Auto, then it cycled between noticeable and off. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The one thing wrong was the first night the hot water didn’t work. They had a plumbing emergency in another room, and got it repaired by the morning. It was near food and local sites I wanted to visit, in the heart of downtown. The pancakes were tiny but tasty. The rest of continental breakfast was minimal with apples, bananas and oranges.

At check in I was hit with a $60 deposit that was nowhere to be seen on the website people don't need those type of surprises after they done made a reservations come in to check in and hit with 60 extra dollars what was I supposed to do. And then I'm told it would take three to four days before I get the $60 back. The hotel room was clean.

When we first arrived my son went into the bathroom and found a dead cockroach on the floor and they also charged my credit card twice. We asked for a refund they were nice enough to refund me my money and we went and stayed somewhere else

Do Not Stay here it’s lipstick on a pig! Dirty, roaches, should be half price of what they’re charging.

Needed a late check out and asked to speak to house keeping because we checked in after 2am with a child with special needs. And when I asked for late check out when we checked in a John man said it would be no problem yet was rudely given ten minutes in the morning. And when asked for upper management was told "he probably sleep's unprofessional. Not worth the money also room was filthy had to do my own cleaning so ultimately didn't rest until after 4am to just be treated completely unfairly. Best western should be ashamed to have them apart of their line. Never have I ever been given a ten minute late check out that's ridiculous and absurd. Never again

I booked this hotel for a one night stay. This property was horrible. When we checked in from when we left. Phone in room didnt work, so we had to call from our cell to ask for towels, there was 1 in the room at check in, 1 towel for 2 people. We had to call, again from cell, to ask for toilet paper, which was NEVER brought to us! We were told they were sold out with a total of 5 cars including ours in parking lot. Room was nasty, fridge/freezer leaked all of the floor, the drain cover in tub was missing, left over food in fridge, could clearly tell the room was not cleaned properly. WILL NOT ever stay at this property again!!! I have pics to back up anything I said if anyone would like to see them!

This is NOT a hotel. It is a MOTEL! We had issues with our keys every time we tried to get into our rooms. The bedding smelled like other people, the bath mat had dark shoe prints on it, I killed a coach roach the moment I first walked in the door, the breakfast area was a joke, and the sound from the cars and TRAIN made it difficult to sleep.

The hotel was ok. I guess it used to be another hotel. There is room for improvement. But The riverwalk, downtown are is within walking distance.

Only issue I had was with the key card . It kept getting demagnetized . Not sure if it was me or what the issue was but they had no problem fixing my card!

The sign says ‘hotel’, it is not! This is a shabby motel. There was a huge draft under the door, no blanket on the hard bed, the bathroom door looked like it had been kicked in, there was a hole in the bathroom wall, the tub was old with paint chipping everywhere, and no toilet paper roll ‘bar’. It was missing so they just stuck the roll on the side bar of the holder, and it fell on the floor every time I touched it. I was honestly afraid for my safety and left after one night.

I booked because of the reviews but that turned out to be a mistake. I walked into the room and there was a weird odor. I then pulled back the sheets and there was a long black hair at the pillows, stains on the sheets and about 12-15 pieces of black piece of dirt or something, along with Everything on the bed was SO WRINKLED. I went to the front desk for new sheets and he called someone on speaker phone and that individual started saying well I was in the room and to check to make sure I didn’t destroy the room. I only in for 10 minutes and then was not given refund because I was given the option to change rooms but to yet another dirty/reused sheets room??

It’s being remodeled had a few imperfections but what doesn’t the front desk staff are very friendly overall the rooms are very nice and comfortable and in a great location I’d love to stay there more often

For the price, it was great. Walking distance to the convention center and downtown area, it felt safe. Room was clean. I drive an EV and there is a free charger at the GA Power office one block away, so that was nice too.

Everything was perfect the staff was very friendly and everything was clean. Oh and the beds were super comfy and I love the soft sheets!

Property was horrible, ac was off in the room, when turned on it did not cool the room at all, customer service was terrible.

At first glance, it looks a little sketchy, but the front desk attendant was super nice and very welcoming. The parking is free and easy. The room was clean and offered a microwave, fridge and freezer, and a coffee maker which is great. It was quiet and no one bothered me.

Great little place to lay your head at night. Wasn’t the absolute cleanest but we didn’t need the Ritz!

Good but brief stay. really good front desk work. Columbus, GA is a fun town.

Clean room and clean location!

The hotel was clean, the front desk workers were very nice. I would give it a perfect score if there wasn’t a roach in my room. I saw it way before I planned on checking out, but once I saw it there was no way I could go back to sleep so I left.

The towels were not replaced everyday as should, the beds were not changed everyday and new cups were not given everyday for water and coffee.
