The staff was wonderful. Cassandra is a terrific GM and Priscilla put together an amazing spread every morning for breakfast. I loved that everyone took pride in the establishments appearance and the atmosphere was so peaceful. I wish I could've stayed longer. Not too much I didn't like... Maybe the spider in the bathroom. But if that's the worst then I can't complain.

This was a last minute stay while traveling through. It was a late check in and the staff that checked us in were very nice and got us checked in quickly. The price was right for 2 adults and 4 kids. The room was a good size for the six of us. We were so tired and so late when we checked in I didn't inspect the room well (just checked for bedbugs) we came in and I told my husband it smelled musty with a strong cleaning smell. Honestly at this point we just wanted to go to bed the room wasn't very cool for the size of the room even turned wide open the AC wasn't working well but again traveling with 4 kids we just wanted to crash. The next morning the musty smell was way more noticeable and there was a drip leaking from the ceiling above the shower which was moldy then I noticed the picture hanging in the bathroom had mold growing on it. My husband pointed out they definitely had knowledge of it because its been painted over several times. Also there was a nasty hard stain beside the bed on the floor I dont even want to know. They need someone inspecting their rooms. We went ahead to breakfast which would have been a good breakfast had the waffles not been soggy and rubbery the sausage I am not sure how they cooked it probably the microwave. The high light of it was a bagel I toasted and the kids dumped the waffles for cereal. The breakfast lady did not seem at all happy and at 9:27 she turned the lights off on someone in there trying to get coffee. Way below the standard of the breakfast we usually get in a Marriott. Between the mold and the breakfast I am glad we only stayed a few hours if it had been a better stay we would have probably enjoyed that noon check out time.

The hotel was clean, smelled clean, and well-maintained overall. The bed was comfortable. The suite was plenty large enough for the two of us, with a couch, a kitchenette and the large bathroom. The employees we encountered were friendly and helpful. There was plenty of variety included in the free breakfast - hot scrambled eggs, sausage patties, sausage links, cereals, bagels, pastries, milk, juices and coffee. The hotel is located in one of the main shopping areas of Columbus, but we did not notice any noise. My only complaint is that the hotel is hard to see from the street. We drove past it twice. Otherwise, it was a really good place to stay.

We encountered a problem with our television. It couldn't be resolved before we checked out so we were credited a small amount of money back on to our card. Great customer service I do believe the staff went above and beyond to try their best to resolve the issue. The fact that they couldn't get the television set to work.

I like the location. Many restaurants to eat within walking distance. The hotel room was not as clean as you would expect for a hotel that has a customer rating of 8/10 on booking.com. The overall cleanliness did not meet my expectations. I could not tell if the bedsheets had been changed or not. I found some parts in the restroom dirty. The sofa bed was disgusting with multiple huge dirty stains. My daughter ended up just sleeping on the sofa itself with multiple sheets over it. The AC vents are non-adjustable, which caused the AC to blow into my face all night. I tried lowering the fan but it just made the room warm so I end up having to put it back on full blast. I always book 8+ customer rating hotels because they have never disappointed until this one. I won't be staying here again.

Great location. Lots of restaurants and stores around. Beds were comfortable. Coffee and hot water for tea available throughout the day and night. Free pastries and apples too. Staff was nice. Lady at counter even made some fresh coffee late at night. The rooms were cleaned upon request. Their schedule to clean is every other day.

If you’re thinking about booking this hotel through a third-party site, don’t. We booked our room days in advance, received a confirmation, and drove over 9 hours from Virginia with a newborn and a dog, only to find out at check-in that the hotel had canceled our reservation without any notice or communication whatsoever. Instead of taking responsibility, the male receptionist blamed Booking.com for the cancellation and the multiple charges made to our account. However, when Booking.com contacted the hotel directly, the same receptionist admitted that it was actually the hotel that canceled the reservation. On top of that, they charged us $200 and then another $175 after we had already paid when making the reservation. Completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and incredibly stressful after traveling all day with a baby and pet. Avoid this place if you don’t want your trip ruined before you even check in.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was the usual. Wear and tear is beginning to show, though - especially in the bathroom with peeling wallpaper and broken tiles in the shower.

The rooms are cozy and clean. The staff very nice and friendly. The breakfast is really good. Internet could be better but it works unless a power outage happens lol.

Overall very good. Staff and food was excellent. Air conditioning was loud and cold and there was a roach in the bathroom.

The location was great for my needs. The desk clerk was extremely friendly and accommodating. The outside of the facility needed refreshing. The exterior was faded and worn appearing. The room was adequatley sized for our needs. The bed was very uncomfortable. I've slept on the ground and been more comfortable. The wallpaper in the shower was coming off the wall. The couch had stains that looked like dried semen on it. There was trash in the trash can when we arrived. As far as the breakfast goes, it was very disappointing. Someone had spilled oatmeal on the inside and no one had cleaned it up. Selection was very, very limited. There was a worker there but she wasn't doing anything but leaning on the counter. Not at all helpful or concerned about the cleanliness of the area.

The sofa in my room was old. I sat on it and just felt uncomfortable. I got up right away. Also when I entered my room there was a bottle in the garbage can. I feel when I enter a room there should be no garbage. It should feel new.

Cracked bathroom tiles, wifi didn’t work at all, fridge barely worked, the cable almost had zero channels to choose from, issues checking in.

The property was close to everything. The staff was nice. The room was so clean. I plan on visiting the Columbus area at least twice a month and I will be staying at that hotel.

The staff was super nice ! She was very accommodating after I checked in the tv was having sound issues. She came up checked it and moved me immediately to another room. I will definitely stay here again when I have to come back in March.

The main entrance the floor was dirty since I got there and the last day I left. The bed sheets had a lot of stains and the coach in my room had a lot of stain and dirty. The elevator and the halfway floor was dirty.

It was in a good location and comfortable. The suite was spacious. I had a hard time finding it. GPS kept saying that I’ve arrived but I didn’t see the hotel or the sign. I had to get directions from someone that lives in the area to find it.

Because they had limited options that were kid friendly (no whole milk, no kid appealing cereals, no waffles), we ended up going to the nearby Krispy Kreme for breakfast - which the kids absolutely loved.

I had coffee. There wasn't anywhere to sit in the dining area. I decided to grab a cup of coffee and leave. The people who were eating were congregated and lounging at the tables without eating.

We enjoyed our time with our son who we were visiting from fort benning. The rooms are nice but the beds were not comfortable.

Reservations for family members were completely messed up. Two of our party had to go to the Fairfield, 10-15 minutes away. One was refused due to name confusion. Air conditioner super noisy and cycled poorly. Beds not made every day. Just a very disappointing experience. Won’t come here again.

The hotel was very nice and my family and I enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious enough for 5 people ( we got the suite). The complimentary water and snacks were a nice touch. Lastly, the staff was very kind and helpful.

Also the room was noisy from pipes in the ceiling I told staff several times that I could not sleep the first night and upon checking out on the 3rd day. Nothing was corrected. Although the staff was very friendly it still did not help any of the sleepless nights or repair a wheel..

The building needs general maintence. The elevator was missing some buttons and the floor was damage. The furnitures of my room was outdated, the TV has lines in the screen, the walls where damages and one towel was stained.

I don’t know who would be in charge of that roadway. But there were two big potholes and a big orange cone to try to guide you away from one of them very difficult to see at night.

Reserved a king room. Informed upon check-in that they were at capacity and a king room was not available. Offered a ” double” room, which I accepted. Then stated that a King handicapped was available. I accepted. Would not recommend this unless you need a roll in shower for a wheelchair because there was water all over the bathroom floor after showering. The bed was so hard. I did not sleep a wink. But, my biggest complaint was that there was no hot water. My husband and I had three showers between the two of us within the eight hours that we were there. Surgery. The temperature of the water was like cool tap water, at best. We were literally shivering in & out of the shower. The options were cool or cold. The towels were very small and discolored. Upon checkout,, I questioned the front desk attendant about the quality of linen sanitation with no hot water. He suggested contacting the general manager. I will do that, as well as Marriott. I guess they save energy by not heating the water. I have never stayed at a Springhill suites before and certainly won’t stay at this one again. It was a budget hotel at best.

Excellent staff, hotel, and service. The best location for food, entertainment, and shopping. Instructions on how to operate the two remote controls for the TV need to be provided to guests.

Perfectly fine stay, although I don't remember being locked out of the front door at 11 during previous stays (and I don't like what that indicates). The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and has good options. The beds are getting a little tired, which is the only reason they did not get 5s across the board.

The address is so misleading. GPS says arrived once you get to Lowe’s. This needs to be fixed cuz when I tried to call the property, the lady kept me on hold and I was getting frustrated. I had to figure it out on my own. Please, fix the address issue. Otherwise we had a good stay

Came here to escape hurricane Milton. After driving all night (horrendous traffic and no place to stop, even rest areas packed), we arrived too early to check in. But staff gave us water and checked on us several times while waiting in the lobby. They were great, and got us in a room as soon as one was available. Room was clean and comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again.

Comfortable stay, quiet, friendly staff

Our three night stay due to Hurricane Milton was refreshing and a nice place to escape. The bed is comfortable and the room AC worked well and was quiet!! Would stay here again!

Carpet was not cleaned but service was great as well as breakfast.

The computer system was down both days during my day, which made it very difficult for the staff to get things situated at the room key several tubs when I leave out it wouldn’t work

Attentive staff upon check in. Beds & pillows need replacing.

It is a bit hard to see from the road, but once you see it, it is a nice hotel and enjoyed the stay. The hotel staff is remarkably friendly and eager to help in any way possible.

Close to restaurants and shoping

The television didn't work the entire stay even though the desk was informed twice.

Great stay and service. I had an issue with the internet and not being able to work from here. There were no wired connections in the room but the front desk staff was extremely accommodating and got me connected with the IT team to assist and I was able to finish my workday.

The stay was good. Unfortunately, the tub wasn't draining properly and as we were taking showers the tub would fill up as if we were taking a bath.

Our room wasn’t thoroughly clean.. drink spills on table and what looked like blood stains in the carpet. The final straw was that the room walls were so thin that you could hear everything, especially when trying to sleep. Requested another room and they said they were full capacity. Asked to speak with a manager and they said she wouldn’t be back until Monday.

Good lobby space. Breakfast. Convenient for USTA Tournament. It worked out great for our friends trip - lobby space for card playing and gathering. Easy to get quick breakfast and go.

Excellent stay!

The room was not clean, and it could also use some renovations. The hotel staff was not attentive or friendly. I’m scratching them off my list of places to stay.

The reservation and check in were smooth. The staff was terrifically friendly. The front doors had issues sticking. The bed was hard. Not enough towels and wash cloths. The shower curtain was difficult to get to stay in place. The toilet handle was very hard to work (stiff.) The elevator had scary noises. The coffee was Terrible and empty twice in the morning.

The staff was very professional. The room was clean and comforable. Breafast was really good also. I will definitely be staying here on the future.

The bed was one of the best ones I’ve had in a hotel but they need updating there’s loose tiles in the bathroom but shower had great pressure. The refrigerator doesn’t work well and I guess getting room service every day is a thing of the past, our girl was awesome and she went above and beyond.

The staff were the absolute best, we were greeted with smiles and laughter, we were able to get breakfast biscuits to be able to have before we had to leave for an archery tournament, lots of laughs and friendly greetings upon arrival back in the afternoon. Cell phone being sent to us after check out

They were keeping up too much noise on my floor. I complained and I’m waiting for the manager to get back with me.

If you care about the breakfast. this is not the place. But The Room was fine and really all I cared about.

The staff was friendly and efficient. The location was very good as well. Unfortunately, there were some things that were not that great. There were long strands of hair left on a wall in the shower. I felt like the door to the room closed way too slowly. If someone was trying to follow me into my room, the door closing slowly would not have helped. Also, it would have been nice to have a heavier comforter/blanket on the bed since it was winter. It was hard to get warm.

Outstanding customer service a peace of mind experience

This really lowered the bar for my expectations with a Springhill Suites. The smell in the hallways and rooms can only be compared to an airport bathroom. The whole place was damp, which just made you feel dirty (and no, it wasn’t the outside, the place was damp). I have only had good experiences with Springhill Suites prior, but I will actually listen to the reviews next time. The one benefit is there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

Lady that checked me in was Super Nice and Helpful! Even when I called both times before came, customer service was Super Nice! Stayed in room 114 and it was clean and nice! However a used opened drink bottle of cola was left in fridge! But I can see how that could happen because it was pushed in back and housekeeper would have to really bend over to see it in back because fridge is sitting down low position! Other than that room was clean and spacious! If I have to come back to Columbus Ga for event , I will be staying there if close to the event ! Location was great close to Great restaurants and Sams Club across the street. Could walk down to several restaurants! Enjoyed my stay! No complaints!

I didn't like that after soeaking specifically to ymthw housekeeper, we were still not given fresh towels. She was outside the dior as we were leaving and asked if we needed anything, but failed to leave towels or remive the used ones. Also adter calling, none we brought to the room, we had to finally just go to the desk.
