It was a great stay, good breakfast, clean, open nice pool area. Friendly staff. Only thing if you're staying on the first floor where pets are, our room kind of smelt like a cat litter box. Other then that it was great!

We stayed at La Quinta during a busy weekend - several local graduations. In spite of that, the hotel was clean and quiet. I feel like I got a good deal on the room price.

Door in Bathroom should be replaced.The security hinge was not attached well on the frame. I would suggest a carpet clean in hallway. Im a former Guest Service Employee.Staff was great.

I loved having a full couch in our room. I also appreciated the lemon water downstairs.

I liked nothing about the room I reserved. The carpet smelled horrible and the shower water wouldn't get hot only warm. There were 2 sink holes in the floor that I unexpectedly sinked down in. Just an awful experience.

The doors slam really loud - kept waking me when I was trying to fall asleep. The bathroom light was very dim. We had to ask for another iron twice before we got one that didn’t have black stuff all over it that would’ve gotten on our dress clothes (we were there for our daughter’s university graduation).

Only 1 elevator works. The door on the bathroom and closet was hard to open and close. The doors rubbed up against the floor. The 2nd floor ice machine didn't work.

When I arrived, the grounds were inviting and very well maintained. Upon entrance to the lobby, it looked very clean and updated, and the front desk agent was very pleasant. After that, it pretty much went downhill. I stayed in room 107 on the first floor. The hallway had a lot of wear and tear. Since this was on the first floor, a lot of customers may enter from the side door so I can understand why this particular hallway would be more challenging to keep maintained. But as I enter the room, it got worse. One of the first things I noticed were the baseboards were coming away from the wall from water damage. This was in the bathroom and the bedroom areas. Also the bottom of the refrigerator door was rusty. It almost looked like the room had been flooded at sometime or another. The furniture was very worn and torn. The bedskirt had what look like white paint splattered on it…. I didn’t want to check. The TV did not work. It would turn on, but it said no signal. There were no instructions for the TV. Also looked for an additional remote, but none was found. Also, the thermostat did not seem to work. The temperatures had dropped to the low 40s and I switched the thermostat to heat, but the heat never came on. The pictures can illustrate better than I can. In words the conditions found in room 107.

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and professional. Parking was adequate, but well lit at night. Our biggest complaints have to do with the bathroom in the room. The shower had been recently replaced or renovated, so the drywall around it was not finished. There was nothing inside the shower to hold soap or shampoo. Also, the bathroom door was missing screws on one hinge. Even with these issues, I would stay here again — it was good value for the money.

The property was relatively clean but the tv stopped working after the first day and on the last day, the ceiling started leaking. The price was relatively cheap though so you get what you pay for.

The breakfast was good, couch in room visibly dirty, doors in bathroom has water damage at bottom. Light at doorway did not work, therefore you had to leave the light on the desk on to see when you walked in. Some hallway light fixtures out on second floor which could use painting and new bedroom doors. The king size bed in room 202 is sunk in the middle, so you have to sleep across the bed or on the edges. The lobby is well kept as well as the breakfast area. Other than that, the building needs a lot of work done in it.

The hotel location is very quiet at the end of a culdesac. Our room was older and needed some maintenance to feel cleaner and more appealing. Bed slept great and was fresh. Sofa cushions were stained and bathroom tub finish peeling and grout line at floor disintegrated and dirty. Shower head leaked but had great pressure so shower was good. The ice machine was cringe. My husband is a Veteran so special Veteran parking was appreciated. The flags however were torn and shredding, not a good look. Please replace your American Flag! Not sure if we'd stay again. All walls and carpets are very dark purple and black, super dark.

The staff at this location were excellent! We attended with a group and they were very supportive and accommodating. The bedding in the room appeared to be clean (we checked) however the bathroom was essentially the countertops just being wiped down the floors were dirty and the shower had mold in it.

Made a reservation three weeks ago. On April 8, 2026, a verification phone call was made, and they had no record of my reservation. Attempting to use their overseas contract employee, and he, in his broken English, would not give me the original price, but ninety dollars more, stating LaQuinta was almost full, and that was the reason for the increased price. I tried over and over to cancel this reservation, as he had my credit card number. He finally found the original price quoted. He was told just to cancel everything that I did not want his service.

The hotel and the specific room that we stayed in are getting a little tired, could use some updating. Our room was not as clean as we expected considering the hotel had an "excellent" rating.

The first floor as pets are allowed, I didn’t smell anything foul. Overall it’s not elegant but good enough for a goodnight sleep and a light breakfast in the morning if you’re an early riser. 6am to 9 am. Parking can get crowded during the evening but we always were able to park in the parking lot on the property.

The night auditor was not the friendliest. She was more into male clients than myself. I’m not sure if she was having a bad day or not but the customers come first. I was not greeted, my room door lock was broken, there was no phone in my room, and there was no WiFi code given. The bathroom had not been updated in a while as the paint was chipping throughout. My 2nd time booking this hotel and the first experience was perfect. This experience was ridiculous from the moment we walked though the door.

Neglected property, guest room was dirty and dusty, holes in walls need professional repair, paint peeling on bathroom ceiling, noisy AC unit, wide gap around door and door frame, furniture in lobby and dining are was dirty and the seat material was peeling off and ripped.

The first two rooms that we were directed to unfortunately had visible black mold. Both rooms were on the first floor and appeared to have water damage from the floor above.

The doors were not adjusted and were hard to open due to rubbing on the door frame. They also slammed close easily making for poor sleep every time someone entered or left a room.

The internet connection was fine. Breakfast ends too early (at 9:00 a.m.). The bathtub had black mold between the tub and the wall. The front desk employee (white male, little bit overweight) during check-in was not a patient person (or perhaps he is racist?), and he rolled his eyes a couple of times due to my level of English comprehension.

Parking was great Breakfast was good There is so much yo unpack on that front -Terrible ADA accommodations - Door swings (wrong) entry door and bathroom collided -Dirty support handles/dirty seat for tub -Bug under pillow -Dirty linen (had to change all in room due to limited staff -floor in entry and bathroom not swept or mopped -found that staff doesn’t use a mop, but broom with towels -surfaces in room filthy (clean ourselves) - some dates on food being served at breakfast wasn’t being monitored, a yogurt dated for Jan 22 was in the fridge for breakfast Jan 28, so something to be mindful of

He was sitting looking at his phone and rubbing a socked foot with his hand! Once I entered and approached the desk it him a minute to noticed me and once he did he was very nice and apologized. However, he did not sanitize his hands!

Woke up to a roach in bed. Shower, moldy, bathroom door, swollen, and would not open all the way. Door into room stuck a little. This was due to an apparent water leak in the bathroom.

This hotel is overpriced for what it is. La Quinta as a brand has gone down and I will not stay with them any more.

Many restaurants are nearby. Sam's Club and Walmart are within 2 mi distance. Overall, I'm happy with my stay here and would love to come back again

The guy there when i checked was great. The room was clean but smelled like mildew. Shower and sink both didn’t drain very well; especially the sink. Had to cut it off a couple of times while brushing my teeth. Breakfast was edible. Selection wasn’t the best but it’s free. Biggest thing was i checked out two nights early due to not needing to be there any longer. Didn’t mind paying for the night i left early, but wanted to see if i could at least recoup the last night seeing how i hadn’t been there for 24 hours. I called because i also had a charge of 101.32, on my card that they said they weren’t going to charge, but charged me after i left. Said they didn’t charge me, to talk to Expedia. I told her you DID charge my card, I’m looking at the charge, i had already paid Expedia. Then she said “yea, we put a hold on the card until you check out.” Ma’am, i checked out last night, you charged me today…. She said the money would be returned today after my stay is over… make it make sense. I then asked about maybe getting the last night of my stay taken off and was just told “no…” No explanation, no let me see what i can do.. nothing. Talked to Expedia, they tried, no… My 101.32 was returned to me, but i will never stay at a La Quinta ever again. I will also let every travel ball person i come in contact with to also never stay at one either. With the way things change, kind of silly that they wouldn’t work with a person if they didn’t stay their whole trip.

Beds were a little lumpy, but the pillows were great!! Bathroom seemed clean, but the faucet in the shower pulled out of the wall when I tried to turn it on. All little things, but leads you to believe that the upkeep isn't happening. The other issue was that we got there VERY late (2am) for check-in and we had to park around the back of the hotel... did not really feel safe!! Not enough parking in front of the hotel. The gentleman who checked us in was pleasant, all business!! We never made it to breakfast, but there are plenty of options outside of the hotel if needed.

I can't express the amazing Customer Service that all of th staff provides! My family and myself stayed for my son's Graduation ceremony and then I came back and stayed for his Airborne graduation. When their graduation was pushed out due to weather the front desk staff, Ms. Myra, made extended our stay so easy! She is extremely kind along with Kacie, Charles and Robert. The new young lady that is part of the housekeeping staff is also wonderful! If we have to come back to Columbus for anything, I will definitely be staying there again!

The staff was extremely friendly. I did have a few issues with our shower water leaking and an uneven floor. I was concerned about the floor being uneven, which could’ve caused a floor slip or someone to fall.

I was visiting Columbus from Chicago and stayed at this location for 3 nights to get a lay of the land. It is definitely tucked away and you won't run up on it by accident! I loved that it was centrally located and near shopping, grocery and plenty of restaurants. This hotel is modern, but a little dated. Not bad though. I found the staff to be friendly and very helpful, especially Charlie. I have a preference for the upper floors and away from the elevators. It was pretty quiet. The breakfast was good, especially if you like waffles! Overall, I would have no problem staying here again.

Me and my family arrived around 11:30 Friday night. I checked in and we went to the room. As soon as we walked a DEAD ROACH was on the sheets near the pillows. We immediately asked for another room. Went to that room the sheets was too big for the bed whoever made the bed they just put the sheets on the bed didn't bother to try to make the sheets look flat. I went and spoke with the attendant and told him i was leaving asked for my refund he stated he couldn't gove me a refund the GM Myra would be in at 7am. So i called around 7:30 Saturday morning she told me she would refund me my money. I asked for a receipt to send to my email. Never got it. I had to go back to get a printed receipt. I have stayed at a lot of LaQuinta hotels NEVER nothing like this. I was very disappointed

Overall, the stay was very memorable, but not in a good way. Check-in was easy. Upon arrival in our room, we immediately unpacked our belongings to settle in. When we went to put our items in the mini fridge, we noticed it contained an old salad and a spilled red soda. Rather than making a fuss, I disposed of the items and cleaned the mess. My daughter was to sleep on the sofa bed. I had to go get linens from the front desk. Unfortunately, they didn't have any pillows. When my wife entered the restroom, she said, "We have a problem." The door to the restroom was larger than the door frame. So, it left a large gap and you had to wedge the hair dryer between the door and the vanity to keep it "closed." Since there was a large gap, the family had to confine themselves to one side of the room while someone showered. Otherwise, the person showering was on display for all to see. We requested maintenance to come in the morning to fix it. The maintenance man said that they were aware of the issue and had ordered a door. Why would they put people in this room??? We had had enough. We informed the front desk (Charles) that we would be leaving a day early (couldn't wait to vacate this place). I requested a late check-out on Sunday and he gave us until noon. We planned accordingly. The next day, the rude lady working on Sunday morning said we had to 11:30am (seriously, she's not nice). We left by 11am and will make sure to give everyone a heads up about this awful place.

Pet friendly overall clean hotel in good location. The breakfast area was very clean and had a sufficient breakfast options. The room was clean, bedding was clean and comfortable, AC worked good, TV had plenty of channels. The bathroom on the other hand, was ROUGH to say the least! The bathroom had mildew on the grout, the shower curtain also had mildew, the tub had stains and felt gritty, the exhaust grill was hanging and did not appear to be properly functioning and the floor did not look mopped and the towels did not smell fresh. It was okay for our one night stay but would not stay long term. We did not use the pool either because it did not appear to be clean.

They hotel was nice and it was in a nice area of town. The breakfast was good, although they lacked any healthy choices. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner kept us cool. Just stay off was very friendly and helpful and everything was kept neat and clean. The only downside was the noises that woke us up during the night several times.

We booked a King room but we’re told we could only have a double queen. Not a huge deal. Very strong mildew/ mold smell. Were given a room on the pet friendly floor but were not traveling with a pet. Had dogs barking on and off all day and night. The room was cleaned well and the day staff was lovely. Great area of town to stay. A lot of dining and some shopping options very close by.

Room 102 is smelly and needs lots of repairs. Only room available at check in with roll in shower.

We checked in late and was sent to a room that was not handicapped accessible. The only room that was available with a roll in shower was room 102. The room smelled moldy and wet. My husband had surgery the next morning so we took the room as a last resort. Another room was suppose to be available the next day with a roll in shower. By the time we returned from my husbands surgery that room was already occupied by someone else, so we ended up staying in the stinky room again. No one offered any other help or options. This was our second time staying here for husbands surgery days. The first time was good that is the only reason we booked with them

The matress on my bed made me feel as though I might roll out of it. Had to sleep in the middle..Other than that, it was comfortable.

First we had asked for adjoining rooms, prior, since we have 4 kids. Well when we arrived they didnt have any rooms adjoing or even beside one another or on the same floor. They actually didn't even have our room we booked, so they upgraded us but they only had a suite with a king bed but the couch was made to pull out. Well once we got upstairs there was trash everywhere, and hair ALL OVER everything. There was blood on the walls, several things were broken, including the A/C and the TV had to be fixed and then setup. Then once we went to try and lay down to go to bed, we find out the couch is completely broken

The hallway on the 2nd floor was very warm and the elevator inside seemed a little stuffy. Maybe it's from the natural heat coming in from outside for the hallway, but just need maybe a little more climate control in the halls. Some bits of trash in parking lot along the edges of property, but other than that, a great stay and sleep. I've always had my better experiences at LaQuinta, and I will definitely come back if every in town again for business in Columbus. Thanks again, LaQ.

The room was very spacious, clean. The staff went over and beyond to make sure we had everything that we needed. The tv wasn't working at first but the staff immediately came and got it working.

Our room was fine, but the hotel is being renovated. The noise in the lobby and breakfast area was awful, at times, from seemingly endless backup alarms on equipment. Dining area and pool were closed. Very mediocre breakfast.

Everything exceeded my expectations. Breakfast included sausage eggs biscuits and gravy and waffles. Staff was great and pool was clean, as well as all the other parts the facility. Definitely will stay there again the next time I’m in Columbus.

Check in staffer, India was excellent. Our tv didn’t have a signal so the maintenance guy came up, but couldn’t get going. After his second trip to our room, he said he’d have them move us to another room. He left and we waited 20 minutes, didn’t hear anything so we called the desk and she hadn’t been told anything about a room change for us and the maintenance guy had left for the night. India immediately got us moved to another room, same issue with tv. We finally got tv to reboot and it worked fine. Otherwise we liked the hotel and its closeness to Houghston hospital.

Overall the staff was friendly. However friendly did not equate to helpful for the following reasons: dirty/used washcloth in my shower on the curtain rail- oh we are sorry. Another of our rooms did not have a working tv for the entire 3 night / 4 day stay- oh we are booked up and then the last night…oh do you want change rooms. We couldn’t call down to the desk because the phone did not have a cord so EVERYDAY we checked with front desk to let her know the problems weren’t resolved, and it never was. That’s pretty bad but also water was leaking on one of the beds. Lastly when we spoke with the manager about the worst room the response was “she doesn’t see any incident reports”. Now whose fault is that?!!! And is requiring more work to follow up with the GM. This is bad customer service at the highest level and I am sorely disappointed. (Party of 11, 6 rooms).

Property was good. Lady at checkin was excellent. Room was good but door to room doesn't close easily. Door Will pop open if you're not careful. Breakfast wasn't too good. Sausage patties were very overcooked and eggs were undercooked. Pool was really nice. I'd stay here again.

The hotel was good and in a good location. It is close to Target, Publix, and other shops and restaurants. If we visit Columbus in the future, I would stay here again.

The staff is really nice. The property is dirty. Our sheets had hair all in them and candy wrappers so I’m assuming the sheets weren’t washed. Comforter had pink stain. Pillows were flat. Bathroom was nasty. Ceilings were moldy, tub was dirty and floor had hair and dirt. I felt very dirty staying there.

Close to everything, breakfast was good

The key car would have to be reconnected to open the room door multiple times, the bathroom was outdated and toilet had a leak. The tv had no connection and half of the lights/outlets did not work. The cleaning service was horrible and did not restock or make up the bed at all. Do not stay here.

I guess they’re in the middle of renovations, even though we saw no workers there. Our room was pretty bad shape as far as cleanliness. The shower would not drain and there was no shelf or anything to set shampoo or conditioner on or soap on in the shower, you had to set it on the floor and then bend over and pick it up every time he got it. I’m at the front desk desk, but that’s the way all the rooms are going to be so they changed us to another room because of the drainage problems we went to move into it and it was a dirty room. Went back down and told her she said she didn’t have any more rooms. I said that’s fine. We’ll go someplace else you can just refund me my money Before I got back up to my room to pack my stuff up. She called and said she found another room I go down and get the keys. I go up to it the keys don’t work mind you my wife is sitting with all of our belongings out in the hallway waiting. I go back downstairs. Get the keys come up. We get in the room, but only one key works Anyway long story short that shower did have a shelf in there to set your soap and shampoo on and it was dirty, but it was cleaner than the first room. The first one they put us in with 322 then they tried putting us in 316 or 318 it was dirty and then they put us in 302 and that room was OK. It was just dirty roaches, crawling around and filth on the windowsills and by the air conditioner. We will be going back up to Columbus Georgia on September 25. I think we’re staying somewhere e

It was a good stay with a comfortable room and good location

It was a little loud because there seemed to be a function of some type in town. Not the hotel’s fault. Keycard kept messing up. The battery on the door lock was going out. We have stayed here many times. It’s clean and adequate for the money. I feel safe staying there.

Child threw up at pool. They stated maintenance would not be in until tomorrow. The pool and area was the reason we chose the hotel due to my son’s swim meet in the morning.

Then at 12am while we were sound asleep the fire alarm was set off. As soon as you open the door you can smell weed. Somebody was definitely smoking in the building when it's supposed to be 100% no smoking. There wasn't even a staff on site. Nothing. Nobody to even tell you when it was okay to go back inside. Breakfast was terrible! Sausage was super dry. Eggs were soggy. But at least the biscuits were good. And there was no waffle mix. Milk tasted funny, and the cereal tasted stale. I would definitely stay away from this place. We even came back and I gave it another shot on another day. Breakfast was still terrible. They were only bringing out like 10 sausage at a time, and a plate of eggs. Not enough for everyone. And again, no waffle mix.

It was perfect!

Started out bad with check in. Arrived about an hour before check in and was given a room that was not cleaned. Went back down to discuss it and learned that that room should have never been given to us due to it already being someone else's room. Was then just told will get you a room when we can cause none was cleaned yet. Asked how long as my family was ready to be in a room after a long drive. Was told they didnt have an exact time but it would at least be at the exact check in time of 3pm. Finally got a room at about 315. Room was clean. Beds comfortable. Nice room overall. However, that night the hallway smelled of Marijuana to the point that it was seepiing into our room. Horrible smell!!! At approximately 12am, fire alarm went off and everyone evacuated. Never seen anyone of hotel staff checking rooms to see if everyone was evacuated or clearing rooms or floors. Alarm was shut off and people started going back in before fire truck arrived and cleared the building. Did not feel safe. Got no compensation of any kind and no apologies from the get go thru the next morning. Would not recommend and will not be staying there again.

The TV didn’t work in the room . I need the Tv on in order to sleep. Staff said my room should not have been rented but could have the Tv fixed or a room change on the following day when I would be checking out. Black ring in commode as if it had NOT been cleaned properly
