Breakfast was ok - unfortunately, when we were there - the 2 staff person running the desk also had to keep the breakfast room supplied. Some items including coffee was run out of and she had to refill while we and others had to wait. Need more help for these desk workers or a separate employee to keep breakfast room supplied.

Hotel was clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

This time I stayed the room looked like itvwas barely cleaned. This is my first time experiencing this. I stay all the time.

Good breakfast options, needs better variety in little snack store, and a couple more towels. Also needs to replace or repair outlets on bedside lamps. Staff was super nice when we requested more towels and extra trash bags. Brianna, particularly at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

The mattress was hard and the hotel is by the highway so there was noise all night.

Staff was great. Treadmill was broken but that happens. However the shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom were empty.

The room was not very clean, the shower curtain was nasty and the wall in the bathroom was old and cracked, the floor in the bathroom was nasty. The staff who was setting up the breakfast did not even say good morning until I opened my mouth to speak first, the lady at the counter did not greet me either.

I felt very safe at the property, though the area where the hotel was located looked a little dicey. The lobby was very clean, but over perfumed. That's my personal prejudice, however. I prefer clean smells over perfumed. The ladies working the desk were always very kind, particularly helpful and efficient. My room was fine but the tile floor was sticky so I had to wash it. The bedding was good and the shower was hot. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the containers in the bathroom, however, which I found out when I was in the shower- a bad time to discover that. So, I would have to call the visit less than satisfactory.

Stayed here for my son’s Ranger graduation. Very clean, continental breakfast was good with lots of choices I do not know Columbus very well but I would say it was a safe area. We had no issues. Would stay here again

The room was nice and clean. The only downfall was upon checking in we had to wait at the desk for someone to show up to check us on for about 20 min. Frustrating after driving 10 hrs. There were at least 5 different people waiting to check in

The beds are very uncomfortable. We are seniors and have a firmer bed at home which is an adjustable bed. It would be great if any of the hotels provided sleep number beds or adjustable beds of any type. I have yet to find any.

Truly appreciate having a laundry to do some quick wash. The only thing to be desired would be breakfast choices, but as advertised it was a continental breakfast. Suggestion: have after hours personnel clean spills on the corridor and not just mark it wet.

Most of the staff were freindly. Location was good. Breakfast was decent. They lost my reservation and told me to call Booking.com, which I did, and then proceeded to tell Booking.com the same story I got.... my confirmation was not found in their system. I was traveling with friends so I could not go to another hotel. On top of that, my other friend and his son had the same exact thing happen to them the same weekend!!! I don't consider that a coincidence. They said they were short-staffed and by the parking lot only a fraction of the hotel was being used and they could not offer me a room. The pool was also out of commission.

Heating fan had bearing going out in fan and made noise when running, mold in tub, went to use ice bucket and there was still water in the bucket with some mold starting where it hadn't been dumped, and lastly towel rack fell to floor. I understand there can be mechanical issues, but there is no reason for poor cleanliness.

It’s a nice place because it has an indoor pool and it is close to the airport. Nice rooms and great spaces. (Has fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and more inside the room)

Overall my stay was good. I didn't interact with the staff often but when I did the customer service was good. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked that I was able to find a hotel that doesn't allow pets as they are hard to find.

Truly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast bar had many selection to pick from and. Our room was clean, super comfy beds. The bathroom was the only down side, it was outdated and the water didn’t drain properly. The pool is indoors and needs better ventilation and a good scrub needed for the pool floor.

We stayed here for our state swim meet, and it was a great location- easy to get to the aquatic center from our hotel. The hotel was clean, breakfast was good, and the staff was excellent. Upon our arrival, we found our TV did not work, and the assistant manager (we did not get her name!) was SO helpful and kind. Though she wasn't able to fix it that evening, it was promptly fixed the next day. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Columbus area.

We paid for a 3 and got a 2 rated hotel essentially. Breakfast bar was actually good. I still feel like I paid too much for it @ $168 — maybe I’m expecting too much. No bedbugs thank God.

We got to Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Columbus, GA & they said our reservation was canceled & they did not know why! We did not cancel the reservation & we were very upset because they didn’t have any rooms available! We were in town there for. big family celebration, so we’re very mad & we had to go to a different hotel that charged us $199. a night. Please refund all of my charges as soon as possible!

While I don’t usually leave comments, I feel I have to in this case. We spend good money in hotels these days. I staid 3 days in this hotel, and I know house keeping is not done daily now days but, I do feel that they could at least dump trash leave you with fresh towels or just something. I’m so tired of being given an handicapped room and I’m not handicapped. These rooms were some of the darkest rooms I ever seen. Slow drains like I felt like I was taking a bath and a shower at the same time. Water barely came out the hand held shower attachment. The lamp at the bedside didn’t even work. You would at least think that they would make sure things worked well.

Fire Alarm went off for several hours no comp for the intrusion of our sleep. Maid service nonexistent. Desk staff were nice. Pool was not warm, probably won't stay there again.

OK Honestly, I chose it because of the proximity to the airport and the shuttle being available. Upon my arrival I was met with friendly staff, a clean, good smelling room, and I believe it was the most comfortable of any room I have stayed in. Definitely will stay there again.

The room was clean, bathroom was fair. Bed was uncomfortable. No solid curtains on the windows. This was especially uncomfortable for my ground floor room. Anyone can walk roght up and look in the window. The mostly sheer curtains did nothing to impede sight inside the rooms.

The room was musty, sheets were stiff, and very old looking mattress was lumpy, towel racks fell off the walls carpet smelled! we always stay at Marriott and we were very disappointed. It was motel six quality. I asked for a discount on our room, which was the second room they put us in because the first one really smell moldy and musty. Very disappointed will not stay at a Marriott again they did not even try to give me a better price. $144 is too much to pay for motel six type room.

Check in was good but hotel needs a makeover. Elevator has old flooring and transition from tile to carpet in our room was black duct tape.

Breakfast was not good and we actually left to go eat breakfast since not much to pick from.

Hotel is situated off the interstate and is 10 minutes from most everything. Staff was quite friendly. Rooms are showing their age, especially the baths. Bed was just ok and the breakfast was mostly pre packaged.

AC was cold. Shower was hot , but had a lot of preassure. Room was quiet. Breakfast had many options. Would book again.

Quick overnight stay to see my son graduate Airborne at Fort Benning. Easy and convenient to the base. The room was clean. Bathroom was clean and the best part about the bathroom is they have full sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! Will definitely stay here again if I ever need to come back to Benning.

This Fairfield is conveniently located and easily accessible. It was one of the quietest hotel stays I've ever had. There is some road noise from I-185 but it truly wasn't that noticeable as it got later in the day. The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was quite comfortable. I'll definitely stay here again if business brings me back to Columbus.

I love this hotel. It smells great when you walk in , the customer service is great. The breakfast was not great, they don’t give people who don’t eat pork many choices. I’ve also noticed ( I stayed here 2 weekends back to back) that housekeeping don’t do a good job at cleaning. There is always hair left around and inside of bathtub and they need to clean the ice buckets. Other then that I love it.
