    Location Critical Security Malpractice (Room 317): The physical lock assembly on the door was entirely compromised. The latch failed to align with the strike plate properly, allowing the door to be easily bypassed and opened from the outside using a simple piece of plastic card. This is a severe liability and safety hazard. ​Fire Safety & Structural Violations (Room 225): After reporting the security breach in Room 317, management moved me to Room 225. This room featured an unacceptable gap between the door and the frame, allowing light from the hallway to stream directly into the room. This completely violates the required fire seal and smoke barrier standards for lodging facilities. ​Expired State Certifications (Elevator Unit 3200260): The passenger elevator is operating illegally. The South Carolina Department of Labor (LLR) Certificate of Operation explicitly lists the last inspection date as 05/09/2022. This safety permit is exactly 3 years expired, displaying gross regulatory negligence by owner Umang Patel. ​Gross Sanitation Failures: The room conditions are unsanitary and unmaintained. The mattresses and pillows are severely worn out, flattened, and contain large, visible biological stains that can be seen without a UV light. The microwave was covered in baked-on food residue, the mini-fridge was completely iced over, and the bathroom exhaust vent is caked with thick dust/mold. The HVAC unit continuously blew a heavy mildew odor into the room, mixed with a constant smell of stale cigarettes and marijuana from the hallways. ​Infrastructural Decay: The building envelope has zero sound insulation. I could clearly hear every step and rolling chair from the floor above, as well as clear conversations from neighboring rooms and the hallway. The shower plumbing suffers from critically low water pressure, and the hot water takes an unacceptably long time to activate. There were no towel hooks or racks, forcing clean towels onto unhygienic surfaces.

    I was please with the rooms and interior of the rooms, bathroom needed their toilet seats change they were old and stained which changed the vibe for me. I also notice if I was out when they came to clean the room they only made the bed, never replaced towels or toilet paper nor did they clean the sinks or showers. When I was in the room they asked me if I wanted that service I answered yes every time I got a cleaned room and replacement of towels, toilet paper, and floor were swept and washed.

    The flies in our room were filthy. The walls were patchy and had debris and dirt all over them. The tv was on Spanish mode and the remote wouldn’t bring up the settings to fix it. The beds had frames made of thin metal that made noise every time you moved. Awful experience! Even the breakfast smelled terrible.

    The comfy bed .. the fact that I could keep an eye on my car while inside room .. staff was nice an friendly .. the ice machine was on the floor we was on instead of on the main floor .. The fact that I could hear everything thru the walls and how loud people were in the hallways after 11pm .. elevator was alil iffy (doors opened before the elevator was done moving) .. wasnt enough parking for the cars (was riding round lookin for a park)

    When I checked in the first room, they put us in was dirty. The pillow was at the foot of the bed instead of the head of the bed had a dirty towel on the back of a chair and a washcloth on the dresser. The second room they put us in. We went in. There was water on the floor leaking from the refrigerator. The third room was OK now my biggest complaint is when they gave me the receipt and I looked at the receipt and it was differently price from what Expedia quoted me. The taxes were more than what Expedia quoted. I talk to the manager. I told him I’ll always use Expedia and whatever they quote me is what we pay. He told me he was trying to talk to third-party companies about the different taxes in the state didn’t make any sense so we checked out of that hotel and went across the street to country Inn and suites by Radisson and when I checked out of there because I booked that new hotel on Expedia and she gave me my bill when I checked out my receipt and what I was quoted on Expedia was what I paid the price of the room. The taxes was the same unlike the other hotel only thing was the same on that one was the price of the room for each day so I hope Expedia examine this hotel because they’re charging more in taxes than what someone booked on Expedia.

    Multi night stay cut short. No maid service which means no paper cups- they provide 2, no clean towels and no trash removed. Only ice machine that works is on first floor. I asked for 1 extra pillow (they were smallest pillows I have ever seen) and was denied saying they do not have any. And the worst bed ever. Springs were noisy as you moved let alone feel them. A bucket of kitty liter was in hallway- guessing to hide smell. We canceled last night and stayed elsewhere.

    The bathtub was dirty which I had to clean it. The keys for the room were not coded for 3 nights. I had to go to the front desk twice to have it resolved. I asked for 2 extra towels and 2 wash clothes. I received 1 bath towel 2 hand towels no wash clothes. I then asked for a wakeup call. The employee on duty didn't know how to do that but said she would tell the next staff to set the wakeup. That never happened

    We booked a handicapped accessible room. When we checked in we were told the air did not work in that room. We were given a regular room. We went to bed and my daughter-in-law found bugs in the bed. She moved to the bed with me and found bugs crawling on the pillow. At 3:30 am we switched rooms with an infant and I am totally non-weight bearing on my leg due to surgery.

We went to bed and my daughter-in-law found bugs in the bed. She moved to the bed with me and found bugs crawling on the pillow. At 3:30 am we switched rooms with an infant and I am totally non-weight bearing on my leg due to surgery.

    Staff was nice. Room was slightly damp but air conditioner helped with that after turning it up a little. You can tell they are trying to update finished but the bathroom and peeling paint I’m sure is due to inability of drying out walls before laying down primer. Looked like wallpaper had been removed and primed. Been waterproof g in the walls would help a ton. Hole in the back of the bathroom door and numerous dents in the walls near the bed. Not a huge deal just finishes. Tv worked and beds were comfortable. Really all we needed. Breakfast was minimal, plan to hit the QT on the way to the highway. Fair number of people loitering in the parking until late at night but was very well lit. Location was good proximity to soccer fields and the highway.

    My stay was nice, one little episode I had the toilet was stopped up and I reported to the front desk the receptionist wanted to hand me the plunger for me to use to unclog the toilet myself but another worker took the plunger and provided the service.

    I stayed at this hotel from 9/11/2025-9/15/2025. My room was cleaned on 9/12/2025. When I returned to my room on 9/13/2025 after 5 p.m., I found that my room hadn't been cleaned. The same happened on 9/14/2025; I asked the front desk clerk on 9/14/2025 why my room wasn't cleaned, I was told that they were short-staffed & one of the housekeepers wasn't there that day. I then pointed out that my room wasn't cleaned the day before that & asked if the housekeeper was out that day as well. I think the desk clerk said she was out then as well, but I can't remember the reason she gave me. Since my room hadn't been cleaned since 9/12/2025, when I left the morning of 9/14/2025 to go to training for my job, I specifically told the front desk clerk that I wanted my room cleaned that day, & she assured me it would be. I returned to my room 9/14/2025, & the room was not cleaned. The front desk clerk was very nice & I felt bad for her, but I realized that I had no clean towels in my room because none had been brought in because housekeeping services hadn't been provided. I asked for towels. The front desk clerk gave me one hand towel (no washcloths or bath towels) & apologized & said that was all she had because the laundry hadn't been done that day either. WHAT??     The hotel is not clean, there’s a lot of rug rag that hangs outside and every time you walk outside or get out of your vehicle all you can smell is pot. The area is not great around it, homeless people in the area. Bathroom floor has hair all over it and the bathtub as well. If they’d clean and paint and get rid of the pot smoking people then it would be much better. Staff were all friendly; otherwise I would’ve given it the lowest scores across the board.

    My stay was good for the price. My only real bother was they charge you the $100 deposit at check in, but actually charge your debit or credit card. Then reimburse it after you leave, which can take days. Thats kinda behind the times, its usually just a hold on your card. But still would stay again

    We booked a non smoking room that smelled like you could light the paint and smoke it. We had to sign a non smoking agreement for a room that smelled like an ashtray. We were literally there for less than 6 hours and I can honestly say, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The place should’ve just had a sign making it mandatory to smoke in order to stay. I wouldn’t stay here again for free. The only positive was that the shower had decent pressure and hot water.

    When we walked into the property it looked decent. The Lady behind the desk was nice and informative. We walked into the elevator and it was dirty. The hallway carpets and floor was nasty and stained smelt bad. We had 2 eooms we checked out the first room and the bathrooms were nasty stains on the walls, well most of them was just because no one had the brilliant idea to just wipe them off there was a blood smudge on the door frame to the bathroom then when you went into the room your feet stuck to the floor. Looking at the beds the sheets, pillowcases and the top blanket had stains on them, well I hope they were washed. That was just the first room. The second room was the same minus the blood on the wall. We did go to the dollar store and bought cleaner and cleaned the room and blankets. The breakfast they served was just a couple honey buns, waffles, cereal, warm milk, and coffe everything was broken and if you did not get to breakfast at 6 am you got nothing. Really the only good thing about this place were the cute kids that we got to talk to and the other people staying there. The Marijuana smell was so bad inside the building and even outside was bad. Honestly with a little hard work to clean it up and take care of the place it would not be bad but I really can not say I will be back there at all. Thank you to everyone there for being nice and helpful.

    I booked two rooms one for handicapped and one for regular people. The one for handicapped access was the EXACT SAME as the other one. We complained and NOTHING was done instead they made us PURCHASE another room! This was unacceptable and intop of that the short lady in the front end was really RUDE. All of the room sheets were disgusting and stinked. Not to mention we had people walking in our rooms in the middle of the night having access to our room ! Why would they have more the one key to have access to our rooms ??? I wanted to leave but didn’t want to give me my refund. Regret my stay

    The area seemed a little rough and the shower curtain had black stains on the bottom. The walls seemed very thin, as I could hear the room next door speaking at a normal volume.

    This was the biggest dump I’ve ever stayed in. Stained pillows and sheets. No full sized towels. Vending machines, ice machine, waffle maker, and juice machine all out of order. Dead cockroach in the hall, and live on in the room

    This by far the best hotel I ever stayed at shout out to the owner for letting us have an entire cookout for the hotel and we had fun I will be staying here again

    The receptionist upon checking in was being very rude to people on the phone. Talking about guest when they walk off. The room looked like the furniture had just been sprayed and not wiped off. The mattress had a huge brown stain on it. The walls were covered in dirt. The noise level at night was awful. I’m sure we were all escaping Helene but it was awful. Came in one night and a huge group of people were having a cookout at the gazebo. We had a do not disturb sign on our room and it was evident that someone had entered while we were away. Hallways look like that haven’t been vacuumed in years. This place needs some major work and noise rules.

    We were satisfied with everything, considering it was reasonable. Miss LJ at the front desk was the best. We were there during a storm - lost power for hours. They handled it okay. Breakfast was very limited once power was restored. There are just little things that need improvement - breakfast trash can is filthy, coffee cups are tiny, bathroom ceiling was bad, etc. No blow dryer, no iron, no place to hang clothes - all things we prefer to have. But nothing that really affected our stay. Parking lot is small - no room for trailer or large vehicle. We will consider them on our next trip to this area - this is not a bad review - just an honest assessment!

    We booked for one night because we were out of town. Upon arrival, we noticed a smell right off. The attendee that checked us in was polite. She said several times that their hotel was nonsmoking. We are nonsmoking, so no problem. After walking into the room, you could obviously smell the smoke/musty smell. The walls were filthy. Sheets were dirty, looked like old mold stains. There was wig or hair stuck in the hairdryer they provided. We just didn't feel comfortable being there with two young kids. We left and booked somewhere else for the night. Lost the money, but learned a lesson!
