Room was clean and pleasant. Staff at the check in desk was helpful and gave us information that was needed to have a good visit. Breakfast was on time and ready for guests. Check out was quick and deposit was returned quickly. Would definitely stay here again

The staff were friendly. The room was decent (cleanly wise) , there were a few things such as the beds were not made ab only trash was taken out and quick clean of the mirrors and change of towels i assume. I was out all day during my stay So i didnt mind it because the hotel was just to sleep. breakfast was simple options like toast, muffins, cereal, coffee etc. Overall a good hotel to stay if you in the area.

My first room was not good ceiling had water stains one light did not work and my room key did not work. Second room was much better the room need to be updated the toilet did not flush staff was helpfull with that ok on the breakfast need more options parking was good.

The hotel wasn’t clean like the pictures on the website. The bathrooms and showers were in port condition. There was trash in the parking lot. Only one ice machine and it was in the breakfast area. The elevator was one of the slowest I’ve ever been on. The pillows were flat and the beds were hard.

It was quiet no road noise. The carpet was soaking wet by window air conditioner. The shower door seal might need to be check. The tiny bathroom had gotten wet after short shower. The surrounding area was rundown . Business closed , parking lots in bad shape. Didn't feel you the feeling if being safe after dark.

The guest upstairs stomped throughout my stay, which made resting pretty hard. Had to have been intentional because the entire room is carpeted!

There isn't anything over the top fancy about it but it's welcoming and safe. Was my first trip alone and was wonderful. They seemed to know just what I needed and didn't need. I would definitely recommend and stay there again!

Ample parking. Nice staff. Clean room. Decent bed and pillows. Shower had shampoo and conditioner provided but not soap dispenser (bar soap was). Hair dryer provided. Breakfast minimal. No yogurt. No herbal teas. Had muffins, waffles, toast, bagels, apples, juices, coffee. Decent enough that I would stay again if I was traveling through the area.

The hotel was old and a in need of remodeling. The staff was nice when I checked in Beth told me that she had written the reviews for the property. This immediately was cause for panic since I didn't know what kind of state I was stepping into. Overall, the room was clean and the housekeeping was nice. But I didn't wanna spend a lot of time in the hotel room. Additionally, you can hear right through the walls, especially when you were walking down the hallway. I didn't try the breakfast that was included in the stay because I spent most of my time attending a golf tournament, where I was volunteering and eating out since I was visiting from out of state. There's nothing worse than not knowing what you just walked into when you've traveled across the country and your host lets you in on a little secret like that. Unfortunately there was nothing to be done. I had to ride it out.

I had called a day before to them know I would be coming in after check in , the lady said that she would write a note, and be here before 4am . . When we got there the front desk lady said there were no note . When we first arrive the overnight lady was sleep . Then when we went to our room we had examined it which there were mold inside of the mirror , we was advise somebody was going to change it and it was changed . We had found stains on the bed , we had found big cockroaches . We were suppose to stay Friday to Monday , we had left Saturday due to the unsatisfactory conditions we had been seeing .

Everything in our room was broken. Not one thing. EVERYTHING. The bathroom looked like it was growing its own ecosystem. There was black mold all over the shower and ceiling, and every time I walked in there I felt like I needed a tetanus shot and an exorcism. Our toilet also clogged almost immediately because apparently they believe in “minimal water flushing technology.” And let’s talk about this “best hot continental breakfast” they brag about. Sir… where? The entire breakfast consisted of one lonely, crusty waffle maker fighting for its life in the corner like it had also given up hope. No eggs. No sausage. No biscuits. No fruit. Just disappointment with syrup. The area around the hotel felt incredibly unsafe too. The second we pulled in, my survival instincts kicked in. I slept with one eye open and my shoes on. The place was also almost fully booked with traveling contractors/laborers. To make matters even worse, I came home with a horrible rash all over my left arm and had to go to the doctor immediately after getting home today. I was told it was most likely from either bugs in the room or the cleanliness of the bedding! Save your money. Save your health. Save your sanity. I’d rather sleep in a Walmart parking lot wrapped in a tortilla blanket

Felt very safe Had an Elevator and cart for luggage. No smoking means just that! Very clean and comfortable. If I travel that way again this is where I'll be staying.

Shower door did not close completely. Carpeting by the bathroom sink not a smart choice. Room smelled musty and of stale cigarettes even though smoking not allowed.

The breakfast was mostly refined carbohydrates- I had cereal and milk- the TV kept pausing so didn’t make watching tv enjoyable.

Everything was great and I especially liked the No Smoking rule. Finally a Hotel that doesn't smell like a smoke shop. We felt very safe staying here and of we need a Hotel in this area again, it will be this one

Worst hotel experience I’ve had in my life. Called to confirm a late check in of 1am. Arrived and was given a room key. Walked into a room and turned on lights to an occupied room, waking them up and scaring my kids. The hotel was too warm and stuffy. The atmosphere and amenities are very outdated and not kept up with. Breakfast is 1 star. Room sheets had stains on them. Walls and paint are faded, scratched, mis colored. Stay far away.

Room was every clean but the window sills were dusty and dirty. The bed am was very nice and we slept well.

Overall stay was good. Front desk and staff were nice folks. Hotel is outdated but kept well. Breakfast is fair but appreciated given the affordability of the stay. The only thing that was dissapointed was the toilet not flushing well.. Otherwise, this hotel is decent.

We stayed at this Sleep Inn Columbia both going to and returning from Florida. It has good, basic rooms, and our rate was good, especially mid-week when we returned. They only have Belgian waffles in the morning for hot breakfast, but plenty of other things are provided like bread, bagels, yogurt, and packets of oatmeal. There is a machine for orange juice. My only criticism of this hotel is the coffee provided during breakfast. It was very weak and just not very good.

Workout room very small and not much in it. Breakfast a notch above continental. Enough to get you going. Excellent teas available day and night. Convenient parking. It was our second stay and we will happily return.

Location and price for only being about an hour from Augusta fit my needs. Plan on staying here again next year. I stay by myself and don't require much but was a decent price and clean. Didn't eat the free breakfast as I left too early. 1st time staying at this location and will be my go-to location for the Masters. Everything was fine. No real complaints. Would recommend.

Very calm and quiet place. Rooms were out of date. Make sure to have a usb charger or brings block for a c charger. Beth the lady at night was so nice. The lady in the mornings is also sweet. The housekeepers were even super nice. The shower had amazing pressure and the beds were comfy!

The hotel canceled our reservation stating it was canceled by us through Booking.com. Booking.com reached out to hotel management to advise them reservation was never canceled. The hotel management would not honor the reservation and we were left without a place to stay. The hotel overbooked however, did not admit it was their mistake. Extremely upset and disappointed! We were treated with disrespect!

Perfect for overnight stay. We arrived late at night and left early morning and this hotel was the perfect choice. Felt safe in the area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean; beds comfortable. Breakfast was nothing fancy but perfect to fuel us before our hike through Congaree National Park.

Increase more variety to the continental breakfast. Maybe bacon and eggs? Fresh fruit? Otherwise, breakfast was well stocked.

The gentleman that checked us in was so kind and welcoming … and when we left the lady was an absolute doll.. after having our nerves wrecked in the Myrtle Beach area it was so comforting to arrive to a peaceful and quiet atmosphere.. we felt safe again..

Amtrak was delayed so we arrived in town after 2a.m. Upon arriving to the property, the hotel employee was sleep with a comforter covering her and her feet kicked up. I mean knocked out! She looked disoriented when I eventually was able to gain her attention. We were eventually buzzed in. The amount of times she yawned had me hysterically laughing internally. You're at work... I wasn't impressed with the surrounding neighborhood nor the unprofessional first impression when entering the property. The hotel was quiet and larger than expected. The room was as advertised. The sheets appeared clean with minor stains. No itching so I'm assuming they were clean. The property was quite outdated. We slept well I must say. The room was a bit dusty and needed a one time go over with some disinfectant wipes.

Most everything was great. It is an older hotel, but everything was very clean & the front desk, both day & night, were very nice. Only complaint is that the breakfast area is very small - no fault of the employees working there.

When for a concert

Staff was the high light, room had a musty/mold smell to it but everything appeared clean. Breakfast, not worth getting down to before 9 in my opinion, pefer a hot breakfast over grab & go, but its included so no reason not to form your own opinion!

The toilet in our room wouldn't flush even after they brought a plunger. The shower is hot and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. Not too many good channels on the TV. We stayed 3 nights. Very quiet and clean. The room could use some updating. The bathroom door wouldn't go all the way inside the pocket door and was hard to open and close. Over all, we'd stat here again.

The gym was 3 pieces of equipment. The rooms were clean and tidy but outdated. The staff was great. My hairdryer was broken and I had a new one in under 10 minutes. They strive to fix any issues you may have.

The breakfast was awful. The rooms were tiny and a joke. The television was a tiny 28 inch tv. The bathroom was awful it had a barn door and the showers was the worst shower I ever saw.

The staff were very courteous and warm. The room was mostly clean, aside from a dead beetle on the bathroom floor. Breakfast was decent, but would have really liked if some form of egg was offered.

The hotel itself was fine but the mattress wasnt the most comfortable. The breaksfast was a joke at best. Coffee was literal brown water and the waffle batter was more water than mix, the juice was good though.

Second room was dirtier, no hot water so i couldn't take a shower. Towles had hair on them, floor not vacuumed. The woman there in the morning was not friendly at all and acted like i was bothering her. Breakfast was dismal.

Beth ably assisted our later in the evening check in 5 stars for courtesy and information she provided. Lobby, room and dining area were very clean. Room and hallway carpet looked new - great. Bed was very comfortable. Bʻfast was typical continental breakfast with edition of self made waffles. Recommend staying here.

Staff was excellent! Clean room . My only complaints would be no lamps on bedside tables and no outlets at all by bedside. Could have an outlet on lamp if there were any. This would not keep me from staying here again. It’s just a major inconvenience.

Good for an overnight stop. The hotel appears to be old but well-kept. The staff who checkes us in was nice. The location is near the higway which worked great for us since we are on a road trip. If we ever drive through this location again, I'd consider staying for the night.

I cut my leg on the bed frame, no apologies were given. The laceration was deep and over 3 inches long. Also, I left my eyeglasses there and they can’t find them so I’m assuming staff stole them

When I got into my room it had an odor similar to an Indian restaurant. The oder never left. I ended up going to an Indian restaurant very close for dinner that night. The breakfast in the morning was very lackluster Waffle maker. And breads. I avoid carbs for my diabetes so that made my stay not great, as now I had to find somewhere to eat breakfast and add ~$20 to my nightly stay. Usually at these sleep inns they have eggs/omelettes and bacon or sausage. But not at this one.

It wasn't much but it was good. Just need more choices then to wait long line for the waffle maker. I would stay at this hotel again if needed to though. Great spot and loved the vintage toy store next door.

Clean and convenient

This property needs to be updated. It smells and has a dampering effect . I was so uncountable I couldn’t even shower.

$100 for the night. I expected a little more. I booked online just a few hours before arriving. When I walked in around midnight the clerk was acting like it was a major inconvenience for us to check in because she wasn't ready for any customers. She just talked about being tired and she need time to get her self in order... lol. Strange nothing about how we were or anything about our stay. Room was okay... ceiling showed previous leaks from room above. The only chair in the room was filthy, cabinet was worn fairly badly.

This property is definitely showing its age. The rooms feel dark and old, but they are definitely taken care of. The area itself is pretty rundown and for the price I was paying, I felt like it should have been a little more updated. One of the main reasons I chose the hotel was because of the continental breakfast and it really should be listed more as a grab and go option as the only thing that was Fresh was the waffle. Everything else is prepackaged items, which was disappointing.

The shower was very small in the first room we stayed in. From the steam in the shower the bathroom light went out, blew the circuit I think. The second room was a handicap full bath much better.

Sign at the desk boasts about not allowing smoking of illegal substances anywhere on the premises and if someone even smells of it, they will be asked to leave. we also had a smoke free room, which was greatly appreciated! Pros: Bed was comfortable, room was quiet, towels and linens were very clean. Seemed that the room we stayed in had new carpet. Cons: Room was very small and had a musty odor upon arrival. Tiny bathroom with a pocket door that was very hard to open and close, offered very little privacy. Paint in the bathroom was thick and peeling off the walls. Air conditioning unit did not seem very clean. Breakfast was questionable as there were not many options, and breakfast area was also very small. We chose to eat elsewhere. This was just a quick overnight stay during a baseball tournament, so we didn't spend time here other than showering and sleeping.

I didn't even know they had the gym.

Definitely business-friendly. Check-in easy and friendly, kudos to Beth for her performance at the front desk.

The hotel was all we needed for or stay overnight attending a football game. The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful and polite. This being an older motel, it appeared that our room had been renovated and had a fresh smell. Everything was clean and in working order I would stay there again.

The hotel (halls and rooms) have a strong, unpleasant odor. The front door of the building literally fell off during our stay which didn't make us feel safe.

Close enough to USC for parents weekend but I wouldn't stay there again.

It really Needs ALOT of updating and a really good thorough cleaning. This was the 4th floor. We have always gone in with an open mind because the last few times we stayed it was doable for the price. Now, the price went up quite a bit on gameday weekends and the quality does not justify what the rates are anymore. Staff are all kind and wonderful. 5 stars to the lovely front desk staff. And so far we’ve never had an issue with any bugs of any kind. I’ve given good reviews in the past, but this time fell way short.

No hot water-literal cold showers. Filthy windows (lots of face/hand/whatever prints and oil(?) on the only window. Filthy bed skirts-we could see ‘liquid’ drips. Filthy bathroom door- drips and smears of something (???) all down the inside of the bathroom door. Chair in front of desk covered with dirt/makeup/whatever? Pillows on bed were ridiculously small (like throw pillow size) Bugs in the room. Small and crawling on the dresser. No ‘snacks’ of any kind. Obviously no convenience shop in the lobby but not even a vending machine? We checked in late and had to leave again to get anything to eat. Dirt/black mold(?) surrounding all air vents-in lobby and elsewhere. Positives: The two women at the front desk were very friendly and nice. The beds were comfortable. If this were a $50 per night motel, I would not be complaining. Needless to say, we won’t be staying here (or any Sleep Inn) again.

Toilet seat size did not match the toilet. The shower enclosure had been cut open for a repair and patched with a metal plate and calked. I had to wait several minutes twice for staff to arrive at front desk in the middle of the day, although everyone was nice. The hotel was reasonably clean but had the smell of older hotels.

Rooms smelled like smoke upon arrival. First night my wife saw a spider crawling around. Beds were neat. Bathrooms extremely small with no soap dispenser. Staff was friendly except the breakfast attendant. She fussed about me opening the automatic doors by hand. If you walk out you can’t get back in til 630 unless someone lets you in. What sense does that make when continental breakfast starts at 6. Also none of the exercise equipment worked. I would not stay at this hotel again.

I would not recommend this hotel. Property was in dire need of repairs and updates. The surrounding area of the property did not appear safe. There was a boarded up building in front of the property. Upon check-in I was told that the main entrance was locked at 11:00 p.m. due to safety reasons. When we went to the room and looked at the bed, there were tears/cuts in the sides of the mattress. I immediately booked another hotel and left within 20 minutes of check-in. After contacting Expedia Customer Service, they reached out to the property and they refused to refund the cost for the room.

When we entered the hotel, the staff had locked the doors and was sleeping. Also, the hotel has marks on the walls and it’s not very clean.

The people above us soundedike they were dive bombing off the dresser. The hotel had a bit of a smell to it. And the bathroom could have been a little cleaner but overall it was a good hotel for the price. Thank you!

This hotel stinks so bad when you walk in but its hard to determine what it is. Went up to our room and there was black mold on the mirror and stunk of mildew so bad. I asked for refund and was given one. I am very thankful for that.

The place was perfect for a night's stay as we were traveling to a destination. The staff was very friendly and professional. The room was nicely decorated and clean. The shower was very small, but it didn't really bother us. We wish there were some amenities like a pool, but again, that just would have been a perk and nothing needed.

The receptionist Beth was the only good part about this visit. There were cigarette burns in the curtains in my first room and possible bug eggs under the sheet. Second room had suspicious things behind mattress, on the floor, and in the drawer. While sitting at the desk second guessing all of my life choices leading me to this point and debating whether to finish what was left of my drive instead of sleeping in this den of nightmares, a roach crawled from the coffee maker and was running across the desk. I ran for the hills and immediately found another place to stay.

There were more than enough towels, and it was nice and clean. The only concern was I could not get cold water. It was either warm or hot.

The staff was helpful and nice, a true 5-star team. Breakfast was less than average. The room space was small. The bathroom was a stall shower and toilet behind a door with very limited space. Then the vanity was in the room. Not ideal if traveling with others and there's not enough space to change in the bathroom.

The staff is very friendly and definitely very good customer service. The facility is clean as well. There just a tad bit of an unpleasant smell in my room and in the hallway a bit of smoking smell. Not a major smell but there was a sniff of it. As for the continental breakfast it has no eggs which was a bit surprising but they have waffles and coffee and a few other things I think. But I booked assuming the breakfast had eggs which it didn’t. I don’t know if the price to value really was fully there because for $20 more I could have had a bit better of a stay.

I really did like my stay here and wouldn’t mind staying again but the only thing that threw me off was the breakfast. It was small. If you’re expecting freshly made food then this isn’t it. There’s cereal, packages small muffins, some oatmeal, a waffle maker, some bread and a few small frozen sausage and biscuits. But other than that staff was super nice. Ac was a little quiet but that’s alright. Shower was a nice size!

In the meantime, I had to take my sone to the ER as his throat was closing up do to an allergic reaction to whatever was making that smell. And, four days later, he'll probably need another visit because he is still dealing with it.

Very unfortunately, I had to leave my stay early by ambulance. The staff was incredibly kind (namely a gentleman at the front desk, whose name I can’t recall). They gathered all of my belongings, including my cell phone and charger and held them for me until I could retrieve them. This was 3 days later! I am VERY appreciative to the staff and would recommend this property to anyone.

I booked two rooms one was terrible smelling dog’s pee and mold the other one was Ok the elevator smells cigarettes smoke, the Staff check in and check out was perfect but in the breakfast one of the lady’s cleaning were really rude- so was a Bad experience.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The ice machine was broken several times during my visit and needs to be repaired. The area of Columbia is older and does not appear to be the best of areas however the staff was friendly and easy to work with.

The lady that checked us in recognized us from the past years as we have returned the same time each year for tournaments. She was helpful, and glad to assist in a room issue, and polite and courteous to everyone that entered. She manned the front desk alone as it was busy with a holiday weekend and a tournament next door.
