    Breakfast staff were friendly and breakfast looked good. Being a vegan I had Oatmeal, and every topping was available including fresh strawberries, an assortmentof nuts, raisins etc.. The staff was accommodating by providing Oatmilk. O will stay there when I return next month.

    I loved the room and the staff was very friendly but it said there was a hot tub online and when I got there they said it was no longer there and it said there was a basketball/ tennis court but it was torn down and it felt like fault advertisement and I kinda wasted my money a little bit.     The friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff. Meagan was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to assure she got down to the bottom of why there was an additional charge to my credit card. She made sure it was refunded before I even arrived at the property. There was nothing I didn’t like.

    Clean rooms, decent facilities, quiet surroundings. Nothing that I can thing of. My hubby hated the way many of the doors opened in the rooms. Ex: the shower door which opened in to the bathroom, you had to squeeze to close! ?, the bedroom door which open up into the room which blocked the TV). Little things. Nothing major.

    Not the usual standard that I expect from the Bonvoy brand. The hotel smelled like a mix of boiled chicken and stale smoke. They cancelled my room for no reason but then put us in two separate rooms, not necessarily the worst outcome, but definitely an inconvenience, the staff were really good and accommodated us. Neighbors came home around midnight. The walls are too thin to really cancel any noise from people walking down the hall or in the next room so therefore I had a terrible night of sleep. Tried to use the laundry room One person took up all of the washers After walking all over the hotel to find the place and get money to use the machine. Frustrating. We are not going back

    My business trip on Monday (6/10_25) ended late. I booked through hotels.com as I have several hundred times or more in the past decade. I arrived at the residence Inn Marriott, located in Columbia, SC after working a 16hr day at approximately 11:00 p.m. I expected a quick, smooth check-in as I was totally exhausted. That didn't happen. For the first time ever, I was informed the hotel received my booking ( paid by me through the hotels.com app) but they didn't have my credit card info. This was confusing to me as I use this service often and are a gold member. I waited approximately an hour and received very little technical support form Hotels.com/Expedia.com. support came only through a virual chat. I could not get anyone in customer service to contact me. After a very long wait someone called the hotel and there was no resolution. I got a refund but was told they would not compensate my lost time. I eventually paid the hotel directly after an hour wait. I asked hotels.com/Expedia.com to be contacted by a manager but that didn't happen. I use this booking service so much and no compensation was offered. Im very surprised and disappointed. If the problem is on the Marriott (residential Inn)

    Imagine get to the hotel and have to go down to the front desk 3 times before u can get to the room. First time was the key didn’t work went down there they remade the key. Went back up to the room open the door and there is ppl already in the room. I’m like what? Went back down again and they found down they gave me the wrong room. Unbelievable

    Imagine get to the hotel and have to go down to the front desk 3 times before u can get to the room. First time was the key didn’t work went down there they remade the key. Went back up to the room open the door and there is ppl already in the room. I’m like what? Went back down again and they found down they gave me the wrong room. Unbelievable

    A bug crawled on my daughter while she was sleeping, so I had to spray the room. There were no towels, and a couple of minor things were broken in the room. The toilet continued to run, which I ended up fixing during our stay.

    We go to pull out sofa and its broken. Call frint desk to report and get hung up on. I ended up cutting my foot trying to put bed back in so we could at least sit on couch. Ended up killing a roach on the wall.

She helped me find one of the few rooms left that would be best suited for my needs (wants), with a smile on her face! We were in SC for our granddaughter's graduation from basic training and staying in a clean, comfortable hotel with friendly, caring staff made our visit even better. We saw Chenetta every evening and she was always positive, kind, and interested in our day. The breakfast was good. Staff were amazingly friendly which was refreshing. I'm not use to everyone speaking as I walk through a hotel. We would definitely stay here again if traveling through the area.

    I like this location. You can literally walk to several restaurants and gas stations, even if you’re not a fan of walking, a restaurant is literally next door. The staff is friendly. My room was surprisingly very spacious. I had a nice king sized bed that was very comfortable. I had a walk-in shower and full kitchen with everything you can imagined, including dish detergent, sponges, kitchen cloths, dish washer with pods. I enjoyed breakfast (a southern breakfast!) is very important to me and it’s included. The breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly. They had lots of options including grits and oatmeal, different types of juice, eggs, sausages, biscuits, toasts, bagels, etc. Oh, and the desk clerk that checked me in (Chenetta) is nice! The hotel is pet friendly, even if I’m not lol. My only two eyebrow raising complaints would be the straight hair I found in my shower (my hair is curly), and the “unique” smell in my room. It had me smelling the sofa and bed (lol) which weren’t the source of it. My room had a faint smell (room 320) as if someone or something had previously peed somewhere and as if cleaning services tried to clean it, but there still was a hint of an odd lingering odor, but not to the point where I had to switch rooms but I wouldn’t pick that room again even though I would return again.

    Residence Inn and staybridge is the only hotels i stay at. Feels more like home. Love the sitting area the couch was very comfortable. Love the fact that the suites with the full size kitchen makes you feel right at home. The cleanliness was the best!

    I give this location and staff a five star reading for the hospitality and service from the front desk to housekeeping were very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was great place was amazing and clean. All of the Staff were very helpful. There was not one staff member that we saw that didn’t greet us. I love that five out of five. I didn’t take no photos, but the place was very well kept.

    This hotel doesn't deserve the 3 star rating that it somehow aquired. We dealt with pee stains on the pull-out mattress, 2 gigantic roaches, and the pool and hot tub being closed the entire time we stayed, 9 days. We chose this hotel over cheaper options specifically for the pool and hot tub. You would think the manager would be accommodating as these problems occurred under her watch, however there was no accountability or even the smallest attempt to provide a slight discount when we were obligated to pay for an additional night. Terrible experience that wont soon be forgotten

    So the first room they assigned us to 203 was filled with roaches. As soon as we walked in, there was roaches coming out of the garbage, disposal and roaches crawling up the wall. We are formed the front desk, and they switched us their own 3OH!3, and I was hesitant because it’s right above 203, but the room was nice, and they were in a roaches. Maybe it was an isolated incident
