We first got there and they gave us our key and we went to the room and it had dirty socks on the bed and trash everywhere . So we went back downstairs and got a new room but staff seen to not care about it what so ever

It was midrange and In our budget. The second time we have stayed at this location. Would recommend to others.

I love atmosphere that was presented around the hotel very clean. Staff is very patient. Very helpful. And overall, I was very comfortable and at ease and rested and I didn’t even know they had pets in the building. That’s how quiet it was for me and I would definitely come back there again or any other facility of Hampton Hilton hotel keep up the good work because it was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent.👏

It was fine definitely could have been cleaner. There was evident signs that doors and things had not been wiped down including entry door. There were 4 small pillows on a king bed but the staff was kind enough to give us a few more when asked outdoor furniture was not in good shape. Staff was fantastic in the evening. Didn’t speak to staff during the morning we left but didn’t need to. For the price I would have expected it to be more comfortable and clean but it was fine for the night. Cleanliness comfort of bed and price was high for what it was

The room was not very clean. The bathroom pretty dirty, with new caulk over old moldy caulk. A lot of dust in the light fixtures and baseboards corners.

We were charged for parking which was shown on the confirm as free.

When we first checked in and went up to our room, the toilet didn’t work. So we went back down to the front desk and the lady working the desk had an attitude about giving us a different room and said no apology. Our new room had smudges on the mirror, fingerprints on the shower curtain and the whole place did not look like it was throughly cleaned. The next day our room keys stopped working so we went down to the front desk to get them replaced and the guy working the desk just said “they’re fixed” with no apology.

Convenient, well-lit parking. Extremely friendly front desk staff. Very clean rooms. And and an ample tasty breakfast on both days of my stay. Though I didn’t make use of them, the pool, gym, and business center all appeared to be well-maintained. I would recommend this location to anyone visiting the area and in search of a convenient place to stay with easy access to the interstate and downtown.

Wonderful breakfast staff Stains on the comforter , they didn’t come and empty out the trash and first night we arrived none of the outlets were working. They ended up getting us a new room. It was a bit much to do because we had our 1 year old with us. We ended up ending our trip and just went home, at this point we could care less about we paid for 4 nights!!! Very sad hotel!!

Room was decently big w a nice, isolated kitchenette area. Water pressure wasn't great. Big desk/work area, loveseat in room, luggage holder, built-in dresser w seat, very large closet. No usbc charging, ac plug or usb. Clean, comfortable bedding, most everything's updated nicely, toasty fire pit, pool was ok except heater was 'broken' so it was a little brrrrr, ample parking and decent area. Some highway traffic noise fairly audible. Close to shops, eateries, supermarkets, highways, downtown Columbia area. Mostly recommend the stay.

Staff in the morning was super friendly and informative. Breakfast staff was great! Parking was easy. Good stay overall

Breakfast items were great! Parking was very good. I didn't have a problem. On arrival, I wasn't impressed. The lady didn't seem happy and told me to come back in an hour. I came back in an hour and the manager Karem seemed stressed and didn't welcome me or tell me about anything. I had to ask. Anyway, I did get to check in a little early The room is excellent with towels, and bed was very fluffy and had great pillows. I had plenty of room to spread out my things. I didn't know about the fire pit and wish I had known before time to leave. I saw the pool and gym area when walking around which seemed like a great thing if you stayed very long. Again, I had to look because no one said anything about it. All in all a good stay. On leaving, Rick was great and had a great personality. He turned on the fire pit and was very helpful and out going.

The staff were pretty very accommodating. Some were much better than others. I had 3 rooms. The first room didn’t have much hot water or water pressure in the shower and the 2nd didn’t have a bathtub. The place felt rundown to me. They had a pool but it wasn’t very clean. There were no showers or changing room. I wanted to swim really badly one night but a group of girls took over the pool for over 3 hours. The front desk said there was nothing they could do. The breakfast was great.

I drove 10 hrs only to arrive at the hotel to be told my reservation had been canceled and they were booked up. I was furious and exhausted. They did try to help in the end by finding a suitable nearby hotel with availability.

I loved this property. The bed was comfortable and everything was well cleaned. I did however run into issues. My room got downgraded from a suite to a regular king room, mind you I booked over a month in advance as I am on my honeymoon. The shower has zero shampoo when I showered. Finally, in the morning as I was heading to the lobby I smiled and said good morning to the housekeeper and she scowled at me and rolled her eyes, it caught me off guard more than anything.

I have one complaint. Rooms for physically challenged people are not on the ground floor. This is very important for me because I use a walker with wheels and I have a tiny dog. I am actually very afraid of being placed on a floor above the ground. What if there is a fire? How am I suppose to get down stairs with my walker and dog? I need a special room because I cannot get up off of a low toilet.

The front desk staff and housekeeping were amazing. The room was clean but the bathroom sink was literally falling down and the shower was only Luke warm at best. We arrived Tuesday evening and informed Front desk of the issues Wednesday morning before 600 a.m. the sink wasn’t fixed until Thursday afternoon and the shower never was.

The property is right off 75 for easy on and off on our road trip. We were very happy to find the room was completely quiet with no road noise whatsoever!

Every staff we ran into from housekeeping, front desk, or kitchen staff were all so friendly and polite!!! They mad the stay very nice! Room was spacious and worked perfect for my family!!! Only downfall is not bars of soap in the room, we forgot our body wash and was hopeful for soap but ther was none

For starters the bathroom fan didn’t work, when I went to use the microwave it also quit working. Maintenance came in but had to play musical plugs to get it to work. Wasn’t happy

I was so impressed with the staff and the cleanliness of the property. The room was so large, the only thing we thought is that there was a hot tub in the swimming pool area. Other than that we loved the outdoor fireplace and the whole property. Very nice!

Door to room was open when we got there, only to find out it was because it couldn’t be closed if you didn’t first lift the entire door up and slam it shut. We had to do that every time we opened and closed the door. Toilet leaked and ran, all night long. Shower was dirty.

We stayed 3 nights and thought we would get our room refreshed on the 3rd night. Brought new towels but did not clean room. We notified front desk and left for the evening. Came back and nothing had been done. You would think after we complained it would get taken care of.

The handicapped room was large enough for maneuvering a wheelchair, but the bathroom shower floor is too slippery to use.

Older Hampton inn, good TV and channels, nothing really special about it. A little pricy for what you get, but ok. Decent in room coffee.

The room was clean upon arrival, was never clean throughout our three day stay, we have to pick up our own towels from the lobby each day.

The hotel itself was clean and in good condition. However, we reserved a suite with 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa since there were 5 of us. We were given a room with 2 beds and no sleeper sofa. They did bring us an extremely uncomfortable rollaway for the 5th person. Sleeping on the floor likely would have been more comfortable though. It also states when booking that there is free parking, but I was charged $6 for parking after check-out.

Clean, nice renovated bathroom fixtures. But not having a bathroom exhaust fan is a big miss, considering the bath was recently renovated. Loud highway traffic, so try for a room on the front side.

Before arrival night shift never would answer then phone. Upon arrival, the lady behind the desk didn’t have any answers to some concerns bc she said she had been off work and just came back. The canteen area was practically empty of drinks. They had to walk to the back room down the hall to give us warm drinks. She said she would refill the cooler that night but it was next day. Then barely put anything in there. No coffee on arrival. Things were empty unless u wanted just hot water for only tea. Nothing else. That lemon water was disgustingly that I spit it out. Anyone at the counter literally stayed on their personal phones all night long. One girl was babysitting. Another girl had her kid there riding all over the lobby in an office chair. Either stop or get ran over. The mother didn’t care. The ac in our room made such loud noise. I got no sleep. The door in and out of the room has a huge gap at the bottom so anyone could stick a cell phone under the door and see what was happening behind the door. Extremely dangerous. Elevators sounded and felt as if they wouldn’t make it up or down. Outside windows were nasty. I booked this hotel bc of ratings that must be fake and bc it had an indoor pool. Pool was useless. It was so cloudy u couldn’t see the bottom. Breakfast the next morning was terrible. Only one person to cook all the food. How does one mess up cooking grits? Ruined my appetite for the rest of the day. Asked for a late checkout for 1pm, out around noon after staff

We stayed for one night on our way to our final destination but would recommend this hotel to others. Staff was very friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast was very good.

The traffic and how busy the area was. Taking a walk is not recommended.

I had poor interactions with check in person and again with breakfast girl. I asked a simple question “where is the syrup”. Response was sharp and loud saying “right in front of your face”. Others were there and it was not necessary to respond that way

Lean

I was there with my grandgirls and were very pleased with everything! My girls wanted hot chocolate before bed and when we went to the lobby to fix it, the cannister was almost empty but i told the sweet lady at the desk and she happily went out of her way to get the hot cocoa mix for my girls! That meant so much!

The staff members were all wonderful. The only complaint we had was the room door had been damaged and repaired but it was very hard to open and close. The receptionist put in a work order when we told her at check out. She was very helpful.

Staff was professional. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely come back. Kids loved the heated indoor pool.

Lots of road noise, and the bed was quite firm—more than I can find comfortable. So not my best night’s stay.

Bed bugs in our room

The hotel was very nice. The desk staff was helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. My only complaint was the noise. We were across the hall from the laundry/kitchen. It was very noisy in the morning while they were getting things ready for the continental breakfast. Next time I would request a room at the end of the hall.

No heat in room dirty smelly garbage all over

Room never got above 68 degrees and furnace blower was load. Pillows were the flat and even two made about 1/4 of a good pillow. Toilet paper holder was not in the bathroom expect four screw holes in wall where it once was. View out the window was 1-77 that was real close to building. Got about 4 hours sleep out of 10 hour try, again room was cold.

The room was fine but that bathroom was not cleaned right hand prints on mirror and in shower. No trash bags. To be honest for 800 dollars it should have been better. I probably wouldn’t ever use them again

The room and bathroom is superb. The shower is excellent. The bed is firm and super comfortable. Hampton Inn is usually a little more expensive, but the modern and pristine condition of the rooms and the hotel itself, is well worth it!!!

I stayed here for my family reunion and really enjoyed my stay the property. The rooms were nice and clean, the bathroom was clean and fully stocked. I also really liked the outside area around the fire pit. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The ladies at the desk were very nice. The key card machine wasn’t working the entire stay. Was inconvenient waiting for someone to open the door for us each time it was needed. They did apologize for the inconvenience. We repeatedly told the front desk that the carpet was soaking wet around the air conditioner unit and side of the bed. We lined the carpet with towels. Nothing was done and the room smelled musty.

Perfect. Only 7 minutes to Fort Jackson entrance. Flight delayed. Arrival after midnight with no problems checking in with fast friendly person. Room was clean and comfy. I will stay here again if I need to come back.

There was quite a few things that would have us not return, not sure why your limited TV stations, No CNN, ESPN etc wasn't available, there wasnt a clock on the nightstand, i had to keep looking @ my cell phone, I could hear the neighbors in the next room talking & arguing most of the night! The bathroom wasnt cleaned the best, hair on the floor & in the shower!, a sticker from Qtip box was stuck on the wall behind the bathroom door! That meeans whomever cleaned didnt check or close the door to clean the floor!!! Sugarfree syrup should be available for people who are diabetic!!!!

The place was clean and the employees were super helpful and nice. We got in really late and thought our King room had a pull out. Which it didn't, but it wasn't their fault. I blame Expedia. But the front desk lady got us extras for the night, then a cot the next morning.

two night stay was quiet. location is good as it's at most a 30 min drive to everywhere we wanted to go. friendly staff and everything clean.

What i thought was the best part was the amazing staff and their help to make sure everything we needed was met. The hotel is definitely a great place to stay for anyone visitng Columbia. We flew down to see our sister graduate from Fort Jackson and were very happy woth our choice of hotel. I would recommend this particular hotel to anyone. Definitely coming back in the future.
