For the price, you can't beat it. Only issue was, the room #'s are extremely hard to find/read. Especially if you are checking in after dark like we did.

The room was very nice, quiet, out-of-the-way, nice place to rest and relax and recuperate

The mattresses are comfortable but the black out curtains let in too much light to sleep in. There were noisy cars leaving early, but that can vary on the day. Overall great value for the price for a quick stay

It's is convenient and comfortable. No stress. We just booked and showed up . The room was super clean and relaxing. The air was turned on when we arrived which was perfect on such a hot day. Shower floor was a bit dingy

Location The only bad thing about this location is their towels. I usually bring my own but forgot them and wow they seemed as if they had been used to clean the floors are walls outside and when we asked for me they were all like that. I would really recommend them to set a whole new set or just don’t forget your own.

I have stayed at this hotel many times the staff upfront one checking in. They’re always pleasant no matter what time of the day or night this last time the gentleman even called me by my name. The funny thing is I haven’t stayed there in two years and he still remembered me that makes you feel good.

The property offers an affordable price in a desirable location. The only aspect that could have been improved was the comfort of the bed, which felt rather hard. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience was satisfactory.

The room was decent for a night. The room was not as clean as I would have liked and the bed was very uncomfortable.

Looked just like the photos - Clean. Felt safe. Easy check-in and check-out. Easy parking. I’d stay here again. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property — maybe wish it had a hot tub, but that’s it.

This is a budget motel. The staff was nice, but the photos of the room are misleading. Not all rooms are renovated. The room I was assigned at first was dirty and run-down, and did not match the photos in Expedia. The staff ended up moving me to another room, which was renovated, but still did not match the photos/description.

the bathroom wasn’t the same as the photos, the room was SO bright at night and in the morning because of the outside, and there was long black hair all over my towels (my hair is short and light brown)

It was a suitable budget hotel. Simple and sufficient. The air conditioner, like most in American hotels, was old and not the quietest. Every other country has the quieter, newer, mini-split air conditioners, I don't know why the USA does not. Anyways. The area was safe, there were restaurants nearby, the room was comfortable, and I got a good nights sleep, and that is the point.

nice bed, clean room. no breakfast. Only complaint is they called me the middle of the day--2pm-- before our stay and asked when we were going to check in. Considering we were at a tournament an hour away, that was impossible to answer, and seemed like they should not have called us to ask. We checked in by 8pm. Unusual since we had paid for the room, and there was no refunds.

I didn’t know there was a breakfas The TV went off-line in the morning I get up early. I could not watch the news the gentleman I called the office. He told me to input press the button on the bottom of the TV and do the input. I did it every way I could imagine and still couldn’t get it Working.

Also they dont have a Do Not Disturb sign so expect Housekeeping early if you like sleeping in :c Oh and also this one particular hotel did NOT have roaches. So good sleep. Overall great stay would stay again

The location and the price were good The room was unfinished. The framing around the door was coming off and exposed the wood. Also there were cobwebs on the ceiling. Hair on the towels, the sink didn't really work.

My husband and I have booked at Colton Inn more than fives times! The hotel is close to grocery stores, fast food, gas, starbucks and the freeway! The room is always clean, staff is courteous, and reasonable price! Furniture and room is a little outdated and ventilation could be better but overall great stay!

Not our first time here and last trip was perfect but was disappointed with a few things this time. All bathroom related, door didn’t close, no hand towels, no holder for toilet paper and worse was the broken toilet seat.

When calling the hotel number to ask if late checkout was available, the call went to a call center, and the people at the call center hung up twice when they learned I was not making a new booking. I called three times and spoke with three different people. Selections to do other than make a new booking did not work. The call center personnel supporting this hotel were exceptionally rude, and a major contributor to my low rating. On the positive side, the gentlemen who worked at the front desk were both very nice. The building appears to have been recently remodeled and although very plain, is in good condition. Parking space is plentiful. I will not stay here again, and recommend this hotel to no one. I had to clean my motel room myself. Owner does not allow staff to use hot water and bleach/ soap to clean floors, tub, toilet and sink. The smell last time in the room was gross after the cleaning. After I cleaned the floor (after housekeeping cleaned it), the floor was filthy. My swifter wipes were dark from dirt.

We needed a no frills value room while we were in town moving our son and family to the area. This was perfect. Super friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed. Fast food etc as well as Walmart near by so very convenient. We will stay again when we visit him.

My stay as adequate, but

The only issue was the leaky faucet in the tub. It made the room humid. As soon as I told the staff they fixed it.

Comfortable and clean stay. Basic but just needed a place for the evening. Easy check in and out. Some road noise and you can hear neighbors through the walls, but otherwise quiet. Ample parking. Staff was friendly. There was an outdoor pool but did not use. No dining options on site but options within driving distance. Would recommend.

Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, cleanliness wasn’t too great but it wasn’t disgusting either so that’s just me nit picking. overall a nice stay for the weekend :)

This is a no-frills place to sleep for the night. We liked that the parking is right outside the door (so our truck and tools weren't in a dark lot far from visibility and likely to be stolen or tampered with while we slept). The clerk was efficient and we were able to check in and get to our room quickly (we prepaid via Hotels.com, which helped) upon arriving at night. The room was mostly clean (microwave, nice cold mini fridge, TV, remote, bedding). But, the floors were so dirty that socks got cringy gross from just walking in the room for a few minutes. Bring slippers! The shower in our room was not one of the nice updated ones you see in the photos. And, the bathing experience was a good indicator of why they are making those updates in some rooms. The soap is not something you want to use, so bring your own from home. The beds are rock hard (which some of you may like, so we didn't mark down for that even though it meant we didn't sleep well and woke up sore). And, the towels were really really rough and thin and not totally white anymore. BUT!!!! we still gave the place 4 stars because you know what? For this price, in Southern California, you cannot beat the convenience and quality of this place. If you are towing an RV, this parking lot won't work for you because you have to come under an arch to pull in and the spots would not allow you to turn around or park anywhere in the little parking cove. So, sadly, we cannot recommend it to our RV travelers.

Last minute reservation, in which I reserved the room for the wrong date. The owner was very accommodating, and just checked me in for after the stroke of midnight. Very kind of him to do so, made my life easier since I didn’t have to explain my error to my wife. The room was very clean, beds comfortable. Would stay here again on a trip from Tucson to Modesto CA. GREAT donut shop across the street from the motel….how do I know it is great, take it from an ex-cop. Try the apple fritter….

This was a bargain room in the area. I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice this room was. It was very clean, and looked like it was updated recently. The bed was comfortable, it had various sizes of pillows, which I greatly appreciate with a neck disorder. The shower had instantaneous hot water. Also, the heater/air conditioner worked flawlessly, keeping the room at a comfortable temperature with the fan on low-constant. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

When booking an hotel, away from home for different occasions in the Colton and surrounding areas e.g., (Work, family visits, events, etc). The Colton Inn is my favorite place to stay; over 5 years. The owners are tentative to what's going on at their property. Staff and quest are very respect and polite. This is the place to stay, rooms clear, good cable movies, accommodating as possible and the price is reasonable. Very quiet and honestly great for the price! Nice modern rooms love the daily room service. Very thorough and thoughtful cleaning. Overall great stay I stayed for business and everything was stocked and cleaned when I would get back and I really appreciated that. Also super helpful that the lobby always had someone at all hours in case you needed anything. I definitely would stay here again if I am ever out here.

The unit was very clean, just the carpet was stained. Beds were comfy and staff were very friendly! Great room for price! Also loved it had a fridge and microwave!

Not a pleasant experience. I book a room with a King bed but got a full bed. Lady at the front desk felt disturbed.

I’ve stayed here 3d/wk for my 6month travel assignment at redlands. Quiet, clean, near to stores and nice staffs/owners. I’d definitely stay here again if if i get another travel assignment.

The front desk attendant was very nice and made me feel welcome she gave me the room across the office she asked me about my day and how it went, overall she was very sweet.

Front desk was awesome! She was beyond helpful and very nice. The room was extremely clean and quiet. Premises were simple but adequate. Would highly recommend!

Stayed here many times always clean and clothes to restaurants/grocery stores always quiet and get a great nights rest. Great value for your money.

The AC had a very specific yrine smell. When I arrived, I asked for no cleaning service during my stay as I had work items that I didnt want disturbed. When I departed the first morning I let the coeaning lady know, no service. The next evening I returned to find my room had been "cleaned" and personal items moved around. The next day I was in the shower when a coeaning oerson entered the room. The bathroom door was open so I asked her to keave. She proceeded to continue talking to me. I finally should. "Please Leave!" I went to the front desk. The same man who checked me in was there. I told him that I had asked not to have cleaning service. He said, "Who checked you in?" I saud, " I believe you did." He said, "You didnt tell me you didnt want service. I remember." He didnt remember checking me in, but he remembered me NOT asking for cleaning service? He continued to argue with me instead of offering any sort of apology, when I told him what had happened. He gave me a do not disturb sign....why didn't I have one already? Why would staff proceed into the room, when I was clearly in the shower? Creepy. Never again.

I had a good experience here. It was only a 10-minute drive from the NOS, so that was convenient! The only thing I'd comment on was that our tub nose was constantly running, but we were able to tune it out, lol.

Stayed here for an event at the NOS center . Only a ten min drive away . Very convenient 👌
