Basic hotel. Did not turn over the room the second day. Staff was good. Hotel was clean.

The mattress on the pull out, sofa bed had a lot of stains as well as the lenning. They charge you for the parking, parking structure was not clean. Had a lot of bird feces on the asphalt Where you had to get your car.

My family And friend really enjoyed our stay at this location. Too bad it was only for one night. The staffs were very friendly, the manager was very understanding and accommodating. They offered a variety of food choice except for the meat, which was port bacon, however, we settled for the eggs. The rooms were clean and smell fresh. Thare were enough of everything for our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions or requests we had. The hotel was clean and taken care of.

This hotel was absolutely top notch! The rooms were great. The bed comfortable, the staff was superb! I cannot say enough good about our stay!! can highly recommend! We were initially a little dismayed because it was farther out than we had planned from DC. But we quickly learned how to use the train and it was great! I know we couldn't have gotten such a good room without paying twice as much in downtown DC and the staff was so great, I don't think we would have received such good service anywhere else.

This hotel had clean, what seemed like new rooms. Even though we were on the first floor it was quiet and we rested well on the comfortable beds. Great water pressure in shower and plenty of hot water. It was very nice having the kitchenette. The lefthand turn off of Baltimore Avenue to enter the hotel is.... blood pressure raising!

The people were really attentive and genuine. They helped to make my stay and my situation bearable. The good thing was that it was in a good location, and things were easy to access. There wasn't much I didn't like. I think my biggest gripe came from food delivery services and coming to the right location. My other issue was that there was only one dryer.

I stayed here because my family and I was moving my son into the University of Maryland, which made this location great, because it was literally minutes from The university View apartments. Also it took just took close to 30 minutes to get to downtown Washington from this location.

I rated this hotel 4 stars. It's nothing fancy, just a standard hotel experience that is actually hard to remember! I used the gym, which had one treadmill and one elliptical, both in working order. While everything was functional, I didn't find anything that justifies the high price besides, maybe, its location (still, too far to walk to the stadium). It served its purpose, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again.

Overall the room was clean. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was fair. The refrigerator didn't cool items well. There was no ice bucket in the room, the A/C in the actual bedroom didn't stay on at a consistent rate to keep the room cool, we had to wake up every 20mins to turn it off and on while the one in the livingroom of the suite maintained being on. We called and was told it was motion sensored in the room,which was just an excuse because there was constant motion in the bedroom and the a/c didn't consistently stay on. The water in the bathroom didn't get hot it stay just below lukewarm which made showering unpleasant. The site said parking, NOT PAID $10 A DAY PER VEHICLE PARKING so that was also disappointing to find out last min. Outside of these things I can say that the room and bathroom were clean but the things listed above made the experience not so great, so I probably wouldn't stay here again.

Decent breakfast. TV channels suck. Remote didn’t work right.

Elevators haven’t been serviced/inspected in over a year. The front desk people would rather you charge your credit card than having to deal with issues. Broken glass on the floor near laundry room just gets swept to the corner. Under cooked breakfast food, cockroaches in the hallway. Definitely won’t be back.

No one came to our room to clean it. We arrived on a Sunday and was told that someone will come by Tuesday (every other day). No one did, and when I asked about it, there was a bit of a back and forth with the woman at the desk. She later acknowledged the error and took some money off our bill, which we appreciated.

The room is well stocked with a stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, lots of pots/pans, plates and cutlery. Good breakfast options - oatmeal, omelettes, etc besides bread, bagel, cereals. Hence, I couldnt watch the Streaming videos after all.

The room was fine The mattress on the sleep sofa was terrible; the springs on the surface of the mattress were very uncomfortable. This type of mattress is dated (decades old) now that so many comfortable foam mattresses are easily and inexpensively available.

Nice clean rooms and friendly staff. There was plently of parking in the garage which was very convenient, there is an over night parking fee though of $10 a night.

Clean room and good facilities. TG at the reception was very warm and friendly. This hotel is very close to the University of Maryland and also close to ahopping facilities. We usually book here whenever we visit our son at UMD and it never disappoints.

The one odd thing - The bathroom was recently renovated, spacious, and clean (good). Instead of a shower curtain, there was a plexiglass wall that only extended about halfway across the shower, so the floor invariably got quite wet. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay!

The actual room was fine, but housekeeping NEVER left fresh towels or washcloths and we had to go pick them up when we needed them. Also, I was told by hotels.com there was free onsite parking and the hotel charged a daily fee. Not too happy with this stay.

There were issues with our keys at check in. It took a long time to get the keys to work for our room. The bed was hard, and the sheets were very rough. The shower is one of those with no door (half open). I personally do not like that (might work for others). The breakfast had limited options.

The best part of the room was the shower - spacious, with the faucet opposite the water spout so that you can wait till the temperature is good and then get in. The room is bib but very basic. The coffee pot in the room was not working properly - water was stuck on top of the filter. Breakfast choices were very basic - I have not seen such small selection for a while...And it had hands down THE WORST pull-out couch I have ever slept on. I had to be extremely creative to be able to get some sleep on it. All in all - not enough value and attraction for a rather steep pricing. Will not stay there again for sure.

Perfect stay. Food variety was great. If i could make a suggestion, it would be invest in pet area (it was not bad at all but ok). I was very comfortable hotel for me but know some things can be added to pet walk area to make it amazing.

Called the costumer service to see if they can do something about it, not a single persone could help me. Very disappointed staff that clean the room stealed and touched my personal stuffs. Not coming back for sure, had a terrible experience.

I chose this hotel based off the good reviews and location to my family! So I wanted to love it, however I cannot! My flight was canceled and this hotel refuses to refund my money! Why should I pay for something I didn't get to enjoy?

We had a very comfortable stay here for 2 nights while we were visiting universities in the DC area. Convenient location to Univ. of Maryland and to the highways. Facilities seemed new, parking was plentiful with the garage below the hotel, breakfast was fine. The coffee at breakfast was good, nice and strong! The gym had several good machines, though only one treadmill. Guest laundry had modern machines -- I didn't use them, but saw them while going to gym. We had a studio suite which we found too small for our family of 4. Though the bathroom, and especially the shower, was spacious, we could have done without the kitchen for more space. So, not really a "suite" as we usually book, with a couch, just a smaller hotel room with a kitchen and armchair. Nice to have a table for 4, but it ended up as a storage space because there was very little floor space available. Check in was smooth, though not particularly welcoming -- no smile, monotone. The woman at the desk when we checked out, however, was much friendlier and genuine. Overall, we were happy, and would stay at this hotel brand again, but wouldn't use this kind of room again.

I recently stayed at your establishment; Towneplace Suites located at 9620 Baltimore Avenue, College Park, MD, 20740 from Saturday May 25- Sunday May 26, 2024. Upon my check-in one of your employees(night supervisor) was not pleasant at all. He seemed to catch an attitude when I was asking him questions as if I was bothering or annoying him regarding an issue I had with my room. I received my room key for room 207. Upon entering my room, there were roaches crawling around. I killed the ones I could, took a picture of it and immediately headed back downstairs with my family to ask for my room to be switch. I don’t think it is fair for me to stay in a room that has a pest problem. When I went to explain to the supervisor, what the issue was, he immediately caught an attitude and stated “that I was big and loud to shut up and listen to what he has to say about this issue’ he started speaking to his coworker in their native languages. Which I find to be very rude and disrespectful as I was unable to interpret what they were saying. So I have no idea if they were talking about myself and my family or what. It was in the moment I felt that my business wasn’t valued nor was I as human. I showed him the picture of the dead roaches just to prove my point. However before he would even begin to switch out my room, he sent his coworker to the room to verify what was being said was true. It’s a lot more to write, but I was only given 1500 characters

Excellent studio accommodation with kitchen amenities and updated rooms. However, toilet was blocked twice and though they fixed it the first time, there wasn’t anyone available to unclog it the second time and they only had one plunger that was loaned out to a guest. This incident marred an otherwise comfortable stay.

Great location near UMD and comfortable and quiet rooms. This was our third stay here and the only time we did not have a suite, which is preferable. The room was pretty clean and I do yoga so I get a good view of carpets! My only suggestions are to have breakfast until 9:30 and to add a few healthier choices such as greek yogurt.

Was traveling to numerous states that week. Stayed in 3 other hotels between VA, MD and DE. Parking was either free or not more than $10. 2 of those hotels had garages. Breakfast was a mad house both mornings with people pushing and shoving to get food. Would not stay here again

Overall had an average experience, rooms were very clean and appeared new. Staff was not overly friendly and only chose to clean rooms once every 2-3 days which was disturbing. Area around hotel is very desolate for finding food unless you have a car.

We had the misfortune of having extremely loud guests staying in the room above us. After the 2nd night of little sleep, we notified management. They informed us those guests checked out that morning. That night we had more noisy guests above our room. Next time I’ll ask for the top floor. We returned to our room at 8PM on our last night to find neither of our room keys opened the door. Management reprogrammed our same keys which still did not work. He came up and tried his master key which also did not open the door. After 20 minutes he finally got us in the room by manually opening the door. He informed us the batteries were dying and would have someone from maintenance replace them the next morning. When maintenance arrived, his master key opened the door just fine. He said he didn’t believe it was an issue with the batteries but replaced them anyways. Not sure why the night manager didn’t try programming new keys for us. If it hadn’t been such a long day of sight seeing we would have been more understanding. We all were dog tired and just wanted to lay down. Hopefully future guests don’t have to experience what we did with noisy neighbors and issues with room keys.

The most cleanliness place we have ever stayed at. The room was great the breakfast was superb, stff was very friendly and helpful.

Start to finish this was a top notch stay. Friendly and welcoming staff, spacious and exceptionally clean room, nice breakfast selections, and a quick drive to the XFinity Center. Highly recommend!!

Check in was seamless. Checked in online and picked up keys at the desk. Staff was super friendly. Lobby was spacious and there was a small sitting room off the lobby. Room was clean overall tho a few spots needed to be wiped off better. Lite breakfast available. If you mind noise, try to get a room that is not at the front of the building. We would stay here again.

The hotel and room were clean. Was a little disappointed in the continental breakfast. I came down around 9 and a lot of things were out (no bacon or eggs).

We stayed around this past Christmas weekend and had a suite booked which was amazing. Staff was great except for the night girl on the front desk (probably Saturday night) who was lazy and unprofessional. Otherwise I would give 5 stars.

Second night- there was a group of teenagers that were screaming and running up and down the hallways. Couldn't sleep again, so once again notified the front desk and they were to look into the matter. These 2 incidents really frustrated me so much. However, I will say that the front desk staff were responsive and attempted to ease my anxiety and I was given a late check-out on my departure day to rest before catching my flight that evening and this was truly appreciated. I will definitely go back again, because I love the suite accommodations that I get there.

The Netflix didn't work on tv. Also you cant connect your phone to the tv either. Wifi wasn't that fast for your personal devices.

Excellent room. Excellent staff and service. The only minor problem I had was with the variety on the morning breakfast. No banana, no bread.

This has been the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed at! The front desk clerk was curteous & helpful letting us know that the metro is about 1 mile away, green line. But it's not walking distance. About 10-15 drive and on a Saturday parking was free. Took us only about 20 min to travel to DC in the metro. The breakfast was good, wish the home fries were warmer. The waffle maker made yummy waffles & they offered many toppings (syrup, rasberry, choc chips, almonds, etc). They had yogurts, cold cereals, hot oatmeal, cow's milk, oat milk, hard boiled cage free eggs. Overall my husband and I loved it and were satisfied to head over to an Eagles game at FedEx field, only 20 min away. There are plenty of restaurants & retail stores nearby this hotel which is very convenient. I really enjoyed my stay here & totally recommend it!

Great management and staff.

We were in town visiting our daughter at Howard University and this location will be our regular hotel whenever we visit. This was our second time at this location. We like the cozy feel in our suite and the daily free breakfast is an additional plus. The hotel is always clean and staff are very friendly.

It is a very nice place to stay when visiting UMD. Definitely come back some other times

I would rate it 6 stars if possible. Great value for a kitchen suite with breakfast included, and units that appear to be new / well maintained. I was also pleasantly surprised by the every other day room housekeeping service that I haven’t experienced since the pandemic. My only complaint is the lack of air conditioning (not working or broken down?) in the dining area where breakfast is served which they tried to remedy with a fan blower. Otherwise I would most certainly stay there again!

The only issue with this property lies in being roomed on the first floor because once breakfast begins at 7am, it gets pretty noisy on the floor plus the smell of foods permeate into the rooms. Other than that, this is a great on frills hotel, has a kitchen, large restroom, office area, king sized bed, a couch and a little eating table. It is like living in a nice sized studio apartment.

Our stay was enjoyable. The front desk service was professional and pleasant. Our room was clean and spacious. We appreciated the amenities and toiletries being fully stocked. We will definitely utilize this hotel again.

The A/C in the lobby was broken. Didnt affect us but the counter people were hot! They had a good plan to fix it but it was around the 4th of july. Breakfast was great! All the staff was very friendly.

This was an exceptional property. It was brand new and very Clean. The breakfast was really. My room has a nice design, The desk area was one of the best I've seen. .
