Avoid this property if you value your life. Staff was unhelpful and argumentative even though I explained that I had paid thru Expedia. Entire property smelled like weed smoke. Breakfast was a joke. The staff hoarded most of the breakfast for themselves and left pitifully little for guests. Worst hotel stay I have had in a long time.

We only spent hours as we were flying out at 6 am. We left at 3:30am. There was no coffee maker and sheets had stains even though they we obviously washed. Bed uncomfortable. Staff was okay, but we only interacted at check-in and checkout.

The room was great, clean and comfortable. Outside no so. Druggies around made you feel uncomfortable. Quite a bit damage to outside of building with people homeless or druggies standing around and laying around. Creepie.

I liked nothing about this place. I love red roof inns. I've stayed in more than one because I usually travel with my dog and they allow pets. This ( motel) does not live up to the red roof inn franchise standards. Its more like a motel 6. People loitering half dressed in the parking lot, and vaping in the elevator, stained linen and curtains ( looked like blood), dusty room and elevator. The TV remote was missing it's back for god sake. Each time you lift it up, you scramble to push back in the batteries. Nope, I did not like it at all. I cancelled and moved the next day and im very unlikely to stay at another red roof inn if their standard has fallen so low.

I always want to patronize a business that will be BUDGET FRIENDLY with the MOST amenities for said budget, especially if this is a STAYCATION or a simple get away from the normal. The PRICE was RIGHT... but DAMN!!!! This place is a step above being a DUMP!! The clientele that is frequenting this establishment obviously is LIVING in the place and they treat this place like a SWAP MEET!!! The STAFF is somewhat accommodating, BUT it seems as if they are only dealing with the folks because they are paying MONEY on a daily or weekly basis!!! The facility is OLD, and needs UPGRADING IMMEDIATELY.. furniture is out dated, fixtures are in need of changing and repair. This IS NOT at all what I KNOW RED ROOF to be and this is RED ROOF PLUS??? Where is the PLUS??? I KNOW this next statement is going to sound "that way", but each and EVERY establishment I've experienced like this is own by people who seem to believe in the same ideology of DOING THE BARE MINIMUM to exist as a business owner!! They DO NOT invest in their business to make is more comfortable for the guests... and it's SAD!! RED ROOF... your integrity has diminished over the years and I hope you are able to recover and return to your GLORY DAYS!!!

This not a place for families. If you check in and don’t cancel your room in 10mins they will not refund you. This place should be taken down for false advertisement. The unit next to mines was boarded up. Crack heads getting kicked out of the lobby by an armed security guard.

The room it self was nice. The beds were comfy and our room was clean. The distance to the airport was only a 7 minute drive. There was homeless people in the stairwells and the elevator wasn’t working in the morning when we were trying to leave.

This was probably the worst lodging I’ve ever stayed in. Everything from start to finish was substandard. Checking in around 6pm, our room wasn’t ready and we had to wait in the lobby for 30 mins while they tried to clean one. The lobby, and whole building generally stunk of stale smoke. When we got into the room, the smoke smell was even stronger, the bathroom didn’t look like it had been cleaned and the floor throughout was still wet. The toilet didn’t work, the faucet wasn’t attached to the sink, we found someone’s old fake lashes on the bathroom counter. The sheets didn’t look clean, to the extent that we slept fully clothed for the few hours we stayed there. During the night there seemed to be continual shouting and arguments happening in the hallways. Needless to say, as soon as we could, we left back for the airport.

The free shuttle to the airport Stayed there due to the January storm 2026. The place is a dump. Reception desk was behind 2 inch bullet proof glass --need to say more? The room: dirty. Sheets had make up stains in one bed, and on the other blood, floor was sticky, plumbing was slow, tv remote w/o batteries, when asked for batteries, clerk taped them to remote as it had no back lid, breakfast? there was nothing but a handful of apples and stale sugary cereal... I had to ask cleaning staff to clean the room. The new sheets were clean but had been written on. I slept with my clothes on. Used plastic bags on my feet to use tub. Other "guests" in hotel questionable: homeless, prostitutes, pple smoking pot, fights broke during the day (I called front desk and said "Do you call the police or do I?") Cleaning Lady went to settle the fight. Another stranded guest--a flight attendant--left the hotel to go home and call in sick rather than stay there for the night. I barricaded myself as pple were fighting in rooms next to me and in front. Yes, I moved the desk to block the door connecting to another room and used the ironing board to jam the main door shut. Used the dirty sheets (cleaning lady only changed sheets on one bed) to cover the space underneath doors to block the cold air and smell of pot from entering my room. At 6:30 a.m. (trying to get out of there with first shuttle), I am greeted by a prostitute and her client at the elevator. No mistake made on my part, believe me. Both were very friendly, and high. Hallway rug was full of dirt and trash. EVERYTHING was dingy and dirty. At the lobby, all other guests who had to spend the night there due to the storm (and lack of hotel rooms) were huddling in a corner --safety in numbers-- while the regular patrons of the place came down in their pajamas (some without pants, just a towel around their waist) to raid the "breakfast" bar. It was a royal nightmare! And all for the price of $97.23 a night.

There was nothing to like. It was a horrible experience since the moment I drove into the parking lot. There was prostitution in the parking lot. I walked into the lobby and there’s a guy smoking weed in there. The attendant didn’t even have the courtesy to look at me during the check in. He just gave me the key and pointed in direction of the room. To top it off the power went out and all the “tenants and guests “ went to the lobby to hang out and be disruptive. So I decided to make arrangements with another hotel and I asked the attendant for a refund. Her answer was and I quote: Why the F… should you get a refund? The power is out everywhere. In a nut shell I wouldn’t have my dog stay there. I didn’t like that I paid $94. of my hard earned money to stay for 30 minutes and I didn’t get a refund.

Staff never available at desk, no handicapped parking, no other people of our race all blacks, smell of drugs in lobby and some rooms, presence of police cars in parking lot, seeing two men arrested, breakfast in locked room being watched by staff as you ate, the whole experience was scary and couldn't wait to get away from the hotel

The location is cool. Close to a lot of restaurants and stores. It’s crowded with drug dealers and prostitutes. The hotel needs a serious makeover frfr. The floors had soft spots, walls dirty, paint chipped, bed sounded like it was about to fall apart, plumbing messed up, tub was stained, towels and wash clothes had stains, etc.. The list goes on.

We wanted something close to the airport after a long day of travel, have never been here so didn’t know how bad this area was. After parking you get slapped by the smell of pot in the parking lot, walk in to get the hotel room keys & a guy high as a kite is mumbling and chanting in the lobby. Security was called, so I brushed that incident off and hoped for a better next day. Checked into our room, no fridge or phone so they swapped us rooms to one with a fridge. Left in the morning to explore the city & when we came back there was a cop who entered the parking lot right in front of us - we head up to our room where I noticed none of the towels were restocked, I ran downstairs and saw quite a bit of commotion outside … someone had their stuff stolen at g-point and was popped in the parking lot. I called the booking agency and was able to cancel our last night. Unsafe. Disgusting. Illegal substance everywhere - including (what I can only assume is H, black tar like substance) on their bath towels.

When i checked in the first thing I saw was a hooker and pimp in the lobby with a overwhelming smell of marijuana. When we went to our room the bathroom was dirty and out side in the parking lot was homeless and more prostitutes. I reserved a two queen room for 4 people. Got a key card to a occupied room. Got a new key card to a single queen room where the toilet didn't flush. The whole hotel had a musty smell with an undertone of cannibus.

The only thing I liked about this is it had the shuttle and the guy that drove the shuttle he was awesome It was just absolutely horrible Do not recommend specially if you have small kids.

I normally don't leave bad reviews but with this one I had to, there was no soap in the bathroom, walls and bathroom door was dirty, the bathroom door handle was broken, the bathroom door looked like it was kicked in, there was a homeless man walking in and out of the hotel, I found stains on the bed linens, the tv remote did not work at all, and to top it off I couldn't get a refund, i didn't even sleep there, i booked another room elsewhere and slept there, mind you I accidentally booked at the redroof thinking i was booking at the place i normally do, such a disappointment. And i didn't feel safe there at all sorry to say, this was an accidental experience first time there and the last time, never again.

Well between the dirty sticky floors, the stained sheets, noisy guests partying and leaving trash in hall corridor and people chapping door in middle of night its safe to say it wasnt a pleasant stay

Well between the dirty sticky floors, the stained sheets, noisy guests partying and leaving trash in hall corridor and people chapping door in middle of night its safe to say it wasnt a pleasant stay

I enjoyed my stay at the property. This time I traveled with my dog, I did not have to go through the hassle of paying any expensive deposits or fees like other hotels I previously visited. The friendly staff welcomed us and made our stay very comfortable.

My stay at the property was amazing. The rooms were spotless, very spacious, and the beds very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast and shuttle was also a plus for me. I received great customer service and felt very welcomed.

Towel was nasty and they didn’t have breakfast for real apple juicy water down I think this place should be a extended stay hella teen kids like they in some apartments the staff is tight with everything don’t want to give towels or cups like they tight with everything when I got in my room I had two towels and I put that it’s me and my kids then when I went to get more told me they can’t it’s ratchet here lol

We did not stay here because the area was so bad. It was pouring down rain when we arrived and there were so many people loitering. The area was very dark with no lighting. We were followed into the parking lot by a man loitering on the street. We did not feel safe so we left and went to a different hotel.

The clerk had a very thick accent and was extremely hard to understand. The smoke alarm was ripped off the wall and several of the outlets in the room didn't work. The rooms and the hallways were in disrepair. There were always 5-6 people always hanging out in the lobby and outside the building. Even though there were no smoking signs all over the building and outside the entire place was covered in cigarette butts and everything smelled of smoke. We were awakened in the middle of the night by several loud people in the hallway and the strong smell of pot. We stayed 2 nights and this happened both nights. There was good dining about a block away that was easy to walk to. However each time we walked to these restaurants, we noticed the same people that were hanging out at the Red Roof were also hanging out around the other hotels in the area. Suspicious of drug and prostitution dealing. I don't think any of the hotels in the area are safe.

I'm sure the property owner will respond by stating that they are sorry and take this matter very seriously, as they have the past couple of years. I have never been terrified staying at a hotel, until my son and I stayed here last night. Expedia needs to remove this hotel from their list since this is extremely unsafe!!! We had been stuck at ATL airport for 2 days due to our flight being canceled. Exhausted, we decided to get a room to lay our heads down before heading back to ATL. We arrived at 4p.m, and there were two young teens dressed scantily with wigs in the lobby, felt very uneasy, as some other guests walked thru the lobby.We got our room key, headed to the 3rd floor, and heard fighting and then 3 women leaving a room quickly, along with the aroma of weed and other drugs.Room was filthy, blood on the walls, sheets were dirty, with feces and burn holes, food on the microwave, dirty towels as well as filthy bathroom.We were too scared to leave as we could hear ppl yelling, and constant walking up & down the halls.Was awake all nite due to doors slamming, men coming and going, constantly, (watched thru the peep hole) loud music.Suddenly, at 4am all the traffic stopped.We left at 5:15 in the morning, elevator locked, went to stair well, and people were in there.No phones in the rooms.From what I gathered from previous reviews on other sites, this hotel is used for prositution and drug trafficking, and the owner is in on it. Eager to see their response! Shame on you

FYI this is NOT college park, the area is called “old nat” and is well known by the locals as a bad part of town, While we had no problems with the “patrons” there is definitely a prostitution ring running out of here as well as the other hotels in this area, while other Expedia reviews have responses from the owners stating “we will look into this serious matter” it’s clear the owners and staff get a cut from allowing this prostitution ring to operate, staff allow what we assumed to be the “pimps” (since we witnessed ladies of the night handing off money to them many times) to sleep in the lobby overnight. A colorful cast of characters indeed. The room next to us clearly was some sort of central hub and they smoked in the room as well. Bed was at least clean. Airport shuttle i suppose was a bonus. My husband and i are pretty accepting of all walks of life and the regulars were nice to us without issue. But that said, anyone else should probably avoid staying here or in this area at all. News articles i read after we left include a double homicide in this hotel, homicides and drug trafficking at adjacent hotels, and many more stories i will let you find for yourself when looking up “hotels in old national Atlanta”. Like i said, everyone was pleasant with us but if my husband were not 6’6 or in most other situations i wouldn’t feel safe here in any way.

There’s prostitutes coming in and out (I literally walked out my door and a woman came out to the hallway with just an underwear??) they are also roaming outside the building. my sleep was disturbed multiple times. I was awakened by someone banging at someone’s door at 3a.m yelling to open the door. The area is just not somewhere you can go out or even come back at night. It’s really scary you literally have to be cautious because there’s men just standing outside of the building drug dealing might I mention that the elevator doesn’t work on certain hrs. The bed sheets were stained when I arrived however housekeeping did come by the next day to change and clean the room. Also be aware that it smells straight up like smoke. The lady at the counter was very nice that’s all I have good to say

Nothing at all, the staff is extremely rude, you have a phone but it doesn’t work. I arrive to find room was not up to par the sheets were dirty no latch on the door. I would not recommend this place to anyone especially for the rate😡

Only fast food and no nice dining options at all. Unsafe to leave property at night for sure, during the day was sketchy too. Was not sure what was staining the curtains but it was a large black stain of some kind. Could have been cleaner in the bathrooms and did not clean rooms at all unless I was present and asked for it and clean towels etc.

The room was disgusting. The whole place smelled like weed. Bathroom was dirty and broken door, broken towel holder. The curtains had stains and holes on them and were half hanging from the wall. The door to stairwell was broken and wouldn’t shut and lock.

First and foremost when I initially went to check in there were no employees to be found, and I stood there for 15 mins. I went back to my car and called RedRoof’s corporate office to try and cancel when I was redirected to the lobby I was just in and was talked to rudely by an employee who had just showed up. There were signs posted everywhere saying “no smoking” but my room smelled of cigarettes and marijuana. Also, my door would not close all the way, so I had to barricade the door for my safety. In the parking lot I was harassed to buy “health insurance”, and en route to my room the same women were knocking on other guests doors trying to sell this scam.

This property was unsafe I had one gentleman try to sell me drugs and the lock on my room door was broke off and the room was filthy a half smoked joint was in the bathroom I took pictures of everything

I liked the price and really what more could I ask for. The hotel is dated in spite of some of the upgrades. It was a little scary seeing doors that were boarded up. It appeared that many doors were not accessible with good reason, but think they should tell you what doors are accessible because after a late flight there was no parking in the front. We couldn't access the door in the back and had someone not been at the side entrance we would have had to walk all the way to the front entrance. The bathroom ceiling appeared moldy and plaster was falling in the sink.

The shuttle for hotel was not running and I specifically booked it for the shuttle. The staff was friendly and the bed was great. Bathroom was a bit run-down.

Maybe I got one of the last rooms for the night, but it definitely was not a non-smoking room even if that's what the door said. Otherwise, fairly quiet and very helpful and friendly staff. If the facilities matched the staff, this would be 5 star.

The lady at check couldn’t have been any better, explained everything and VERY polite and nice and when I walked into the room I was nicely surprised by the size and appearance of it. The AC worked well. BUT that was all the good. The location, though close to the airport, not in a good place. Not located in a nice neighborhood. DID NOT FEEL SAFE! Ladies of the night and Drag queens wondering the street just off the property, the smell of drugs in the air, someone/bodies smoking dope. Not much open when I arrived but not sure I would have had a meal even if open. BOTH my bed linens are stained, top, bottom and pillow cases, with what, well some of it looked like blood and the other, don’t even want to thing about it. Killed to small flea type bugs on one bed after I pulled the cover down so then I started striping both beds back. What I should have done was gone to a better hotel but at 0145 in the morning and after being up for over 18 hours and having my flights changed 3 time and still not being able to fly home, I just slept with my clothes on.

As for the renovations, the shower had peeling paint, the toilet paper holder was rusted and falling off the wall with rusty screws hanging off the sides, and the air conditioner had gaps on all sides where we could see inside the wall.

Front desk canceled my reservation and made me rebook for $50 more once I got there. I had just come off a red-eye so there was not much else I could do but to pay it. The place is depressing and filthy, the rooms smelled like cigarette smoke despite having a 0 smoke free guarantee. Some doors were literally taped shut with duct tape, who knows why. I felt like I was in a Tarantino film. Unsafe, unhappy, unrested.

People sleeping in the hallways, surrounding area had nothing but hookers running around. Very unsafe!!!

Bed sheets were dirty and had cigarette burns marks in them. Top sheets and comforters has unknown stains on them. Pillows were flat. Towels had stains on them. Does chain was missing. Had a dead bolt but there was a large crack in the door frame that someone could have opened door through. I had to push a coffee table against the door for safety.

Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was dirty. The chair was filthy and there was hair on the intake vent on the room air conditioner.

Elevator smelled like marijuana and we found a baby roach in one bed. No seats at the smoking area and the parking lot is too small. Bathroom needs repairs. Will NOT be coming back.
