Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Clermont

Amazing staff. Very very clean property. Very clean room. Good included breakfast. My only complaint is that the rooms are outdated. It looks like they remodeled the lobby but didn’t touch the rooms. I even took a shower with my sandals on. I think the property is a little overpriced for what it was.

The staff was very friendly and kind. The hotel itself is a bit old and outdated. Our TV was very small and the Netflix app worked extremely slowly. Our microwave didn’t work properly. The pool was nice though for the kids and well maintained. I would have liked daily maid service but they only came twice in 5 days. Beds were firm and comfy. For the price it’s a nice little hotel. Oh and breakfast waffles were great.

The property was clean and the staff were friendly. I’d recommend this property. One word of caution. Do not book any hotels with Expedia if you need any variation in your plans as they are totally unhelpful.

-Clean outside, common areas, and room -Breakfast as the norm. Belgian Waffle irons x 2, 2 choices of hot food under hoods, dry cereals, hot packaged oatmeal, lots of bread options , a toaster oven (with jellies, cream cheese, butter) yogurts, fresh and cut fruit, Juice apple and orange, milk Coffee all needed condiments. only possible negative at Breakfast was the hot selections; no potatoes, folded cheese omelets with thin sliced ham on one morning, the next mo rning. scrambled eggs and bacon in one of the hot covered pans. The other hot selection pan had prepackaged, preheated items such as a blue berry muffin, sausage egg cheese biscuit, or a ham and cheese croissant. The Belgian waffles are always a good choice. Plenty of choices Room AC worked well, 69° with the plush comfy bedding a moderate firm mattress and quiet surroundings made for great sleeping conditions TV is smaller than most facility's. Very few electric plug options. No USB plug in Small cooling fridge (no temp adjustment, no freezer) Newer carpet, clean bathroom, plenty of hot water with good strong stream, excellent room darkening curtains. 1 elevator 3 floors pet friendly 75lbs limit 2 pet limit $75 per stay

The room, bed, bathroom and towels were clean. The cable was supper slow if you tried to watch Youtube. Very disappointed about that. I believe the hotel is reasonably priced but is not at Marriott's other hotels level. However, I felt safe in its surroundings and that's very important for a solo, female traveler. A shout out to Cara, the lady on the cleaning staff who was so friendly and accommodating on my request.

If you are handicap, be aware that the accessible rooms are falsely portrayed on the website. There is no shower seat, just a very dangerous high sided tub. Desk clerk was super sweet, but had no explanation as to why there was no seat as listed and in photographs

Definitely has a little bit of an older hotel feel, but not too bad. Breakfast was pretty good, but my coffee was sour. I tried making two separate cups, think the half n half may have been left too long. (We went early, so it was either old or left out from the day before?)

Will definitely return, if we could give 10/10 we would! Clean and quiet location, front desk staff was so kind, pool and hot tub were both open and our kids utilized both (here in late March, pool unheated but didn’t slow down our girls from using). Breakfast was fully stocked, fresh strawberries, and all the usuals. Probably the best Fairfield all around that we have ever stayed. The trip to downtown Orland was an easy drive, but we enjoyed the quiet serene setting at Clermont with a historic downtown. This family of five was more than pleased!

Good location. There was trash in our trash can when we arrived. Stayed two nights. Never had housekeeping, make beds, empty trash or changed towels.

Why even bother with the $2 parking charge? So annoying for a non resort in the middle of nowhere. If you need the $2 that bad, add it into the room charge. Hotel is old and looks it. Staff was incredibly nice however.

Didn't have breakfast! Didn't know it was a Pet Friendly hotel a bit unpleasant because of a big dog barking and woke me out my sleep! A bit scary at first!

A relatively short drive to see family in the area. The shower worked well. The cleaning staff were friendly. Our car wasn't stolen and we did not personally experience any theft, violence or vandalism. Damaged blinds, stains on bedding and shower curtain. Musty smell. Some plugs didn't work. Wifi very slow. Breakfast was unappetizing and we skipped it. You charged us for parking at this dump? You have to be kidding. Tiny fridge was a joke and didn't work well. Desk staff was annoying and fake -- don't tell the same people to have pleasant dreams when they walk past you six times in a row. Much too pricy for what you get. Obviously needs new management at this site. Has put us off the Fairfield brand for good.

Carpet in the room. The room was dark and the light switch were far away. The lamp in the night stand couldn't be plugged so I had to walk across the room to turn on and off the light

The bed its self was comfortable for the mattress part. The size of the room was good. It wasn’t overly big the hotel property so walking to our room wasn’t bad. The morning staff was very polite and I offered to pay for a breakfast for one of my family members that stopped by she was appreciative of my asking instead of of just taking it. Check in was not easy. Staff was untrained in allergy precautions. I felt very dismissed and unvalued. The woman lacked any understanding of a severe allergy reaction. We ended up taking the room and by the time I got the kids to sleep I noticed the room wasn’t cooling down. I had adjusted the ac to 68. This was consistent the whole night it was extremely hot to me. I had limited options as waking my kids to change rooms meant no sleep. They wouldn’t go back to sleep if we woke them.

The staff is very friendly but the morning desk clerk told us we couldn't go out the front door until 6:30 because the doors were locked. A hotel shouldn't dictate what time guests come and go. We had a 9 hour drive home. Very strange

I had a truly enjoyable stay. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. The shower had great water pressure, and the staff was consistently courteous and helpful. The continental breakfast was also a great touch. I have no complaints at all and will definitely return.P

Breakfast was great. Hot foods were hot. Dining area was clean Couldn't get. TV to work. I think remote batteries needed replacement. Toilet did not flush well. Reported at checkout.

Loved the hotel and the room was comfortable. The only problem I had there is the a/c was set super cold which made sleeping soundly impossible. There was no way to adjust the a/c or the adjustments were broken.

I called the day of our reservation to see if there was any way to get into our room early. And Eileen was very accommodating. My daughter plays softball and we were here for a tournament and it was extremely hot and she made it so we could get in our room at 1:30 instead of 4. It was such a relief to get out of the heat.

This property was a gem. Clean, super quiet, bed was comfortable, Patty at check-in desk was a delight. Tasty complimentary breakfast in the morning with a lot of options. The staff was very professional and friendly even the maintenance staff. I was greeted every time I walked in the door. The breakfast was good. Everything was clean and well kept. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. And they had a 24-hour coffee bar.

Staying there over several days the breakfast was always worthwhile for Marriott and housekeeping kept a clean space.

Property is dated and definitely needs upgrades. Upon check in, the clerk pointed out that I booked “third party”, very loudly. Making that seemed to be something that is frowned on. Not a pleasant welcoming.

We stayed here while visiting our son in the area. It was just a weekend trip but had everything we needed. Clean, nice. Staff was friendly.

This experience was amazing. We got more for our money than expected. Breakfast offering was excellent, the fitness center had better apparatus than any other hotel that I’ve been at. Especially because it was open 24 hours and the pool was great too!

It’s not a very convenient location, the hotel room looks like it was built in 1970, old carpet, old bathroom fixtures that leaked, it smelled of chemical cleaners, and overall was just not that great. It was cheap, but not cheap enough to overlook the shortcomings.

The check in process was very simple and the lady that checked me in was very pleasant. All of the hotel employees I came in contact with were all very nice and greeted me with a smile.
