Room was how I explained and showed on pictures. For breakfast they had a lot of selection, nice place to stay.

We were visiting the area for a college campus tour. The lobby and dining areas were clean and updated. Our room was not updated and the carpet was damp. The bathroom was very small. We had a hard time navigating the space with two people trying to get ready at the same time. The price was good, but I think we will stay elsewhere next time.

This location was a few minutes away from Clemson, which was the goal. The place was clean, the beds comfortable and ice cold air conditioning. There was a restaurant attached to the hotel with great good, amazing portions and reasonable prices. The hotel also does breakfast which was one of the best I've seen at a hotel. So many options to pick from. The front seat person was very polite. I highly recommend this hotel.

Location -Strong smell of marijuana in the hallways - Fire alarm was missing from the wall - hair in the bathtub at check-in - blood stains on curtains - blood stains on comforter - no water pressure in the toilet causing it to get stopped up multiple times (from normal use) - air conditioning vent flap was broken causing cold air to blow directly onto the bed - damaged/ broken cabinet next to refrigerator - no working vent/ fan in the bathroom

Save your money and stay elsewhere. The air-conditioning in my room was broken upon arrival. I was told to "give it time to cool down," but after sweating it out for three hours, I finally had to demand a new room. Things didn't get better at the gym—the Peloton bike lacked a power cord and was completely useless, and the fitness area was sparse and dirty. The entire property is severely run-down and in desperate need of maintenance. Very disappointed.

I liked that the hotel was close to Clemson but definitely not walking distance as stated. Breakfast was good, however there needs to be more than one waffle maker. Facility was nice, coffee shop across the street, lots of shops & restaurants all within 20 minutes away. Room was spacious and plenty of seating. I would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was very good with a lot of options. The staff was very helpful in recommending things to do and places to eat during our stay.

The place was so filthy there was an orange on the floor behind the dresser and the hallways were not vacuumed the entire time I was there. The tv didn’t work they proceeded to blame it on the rain. The next day the front desk lady came up and finally looked at it wasn’t plugged in properly. They checked another couple into the room I was already in. I thought computers stopped this from happening. You would be better to stay in Anderson and drive to Clemson then to stay here. They are not cheap enough to not make the 20 minute drive.

The lighting throughout the hotel and in the room are so harsh and bright it is hard to relax. Otherwise, it is a clean and convenient hotel with friendly staff.

We stayed here for graduation weekend because everything else was booked. Thank God we only stayed here for 2 nights and we just went to sleep. Didn’t spend time in the hotel.

We stayed here for the George Strait concert at Clemson and it was just under a 2 mile walk to the stadium which was very convenient considering the traffic before and after was horrendous. The room was gross. There was mold, stains and hair all over the place - in the bathroom, all over the beds, on the floors. The halls reeked of weed and cigarette smoke. The description says the rooms are all 100% renovated, but the room was very outdated. The only thing that seemed to be updated was the lobby. There were no towels or soap in the room when we arrived. I find it really hard to believe there was any sort of cleaning done in the room before our arrival.

Shower curtain was covered in mildew and there was hair in the sink on the toilet and in the tub. The staff was very courteous though and helped us with the situation

Everything was well taken care of. Bathroom was supplied with good soap. The breakfast was good quality. The setup of the hotel is different, and my kids enjoyed the pool.

We arrived at 8pm and went to our room. The room was never cleaned. The bedding was thrown on the bed and the trash filled. We asked for another room. They told us they were all sold out. They then found a room. When I checked out the room was under another name.

Fell asleep with my wife and woke up to our bed covered in bed bugs, we asked for a new room which we were given. The only problem was they down sized our room from a king sized bed to two twin beds and still charged up for the king sized room. I was also charged for the stay in the bed bug room.

Location was only positive. First room had no natural light and bed sheets had stains. I requested a new room which was on outside so had natural light. However the TV didn't work and was net fixed despite asking reception. There were large stains in carpet and mold by the AC unit.

Location The chargers/outlets did not work in room 229. The mattress was worn out and we kept ending up in the middle of the bed. Room 206 smelled bad.

Didn’t get maid service during my stay. Came back to my room with dirty & wet towels on the floor and unmade beds. Front desk girl told me I was on “the list” and didn’t know why my room was not cleaned. Light bulbs not working, shower head coming out of the wall, Dirty napkins on the floor behind the bed. No sheet under the blanket….

We had a room on the side that faced I81. The road noise was loud and it was difficult to sleep. I don’t know if it would be better on the other side or not.

The front desk staff (one person) was awful. She was cold and unhelpful.

Rooms were clean and staff was wonderful. Nice location to get to Clemson University. Will stay again.

I enjoyed my stay at the BW Plus. It's super convenient (I walked home from downtown one night - not a short walk but very manageable). The property was clean, the staff was VERY friendly, the room was more than adequate (I had 2 queens and it had a desk/chair and side chair with 'breakfast tray.' The bathroom was just fine. The breakfast area is HUGE and has all you need to get started in the morning, plus they have ping pong and ample seating for groups. I have already booked stays for the fall.

The room appeared clean at first but there was hair and dust on phone, furniture and bathroom. There was no functioning air conditioning and it was hot and miserable. They said they had no rooms to transfer us to and brought us a fan. The refrigerator didn’t work. the ice bucket leaked all over the dresser and our belongings and some of the towels were stained. The toilet handle was cracked and the alarm clock was a falling apart. None of us slept and my daughter and I had mild breathing problems by morning. We left around 6 am. My husband spoke to the staff and to their credit, they compensated us. If the hotel were properly maintained, it could be a nice place to stay. I don’t know about amenities, other than the coffee. Husband said it was basically water. We didn't use anythjng else.

The room I was assigned to (117) did not have heat, which was fine doing the day, but coming in at night the room was chilly. Other than that, the staff was great.

Very reasonably priced and great location. Very loud, the room next to us was very loud and the walls are super thin. I can hear everything they were saying. When the doors close they slam.

Location was great and staff were very friendly I was there for 3 nights and didn’t get room service for fresh sheets fresh towels . Not sure if that’s something I missed or they just didn’t have the staff

Almost everything! The fact that any person living within 50 miles had to pay a $250 cash deposit for a room should be pisted on the website somewhere! That was more than double the price of the room! It was taken care of and ultimately waived, but it was definitely a shock to the system!

Breakfast buffet was very good! Friendly informative front desk. Had an interior room with glass slider to common indoor center area that was a little loud to fall asleep with a bunch of people on that area. Shower pressure was super low 3.5 if I could.

The air/ heat unit did not work. The heat was stuck on and it was extremely stuffy in the room. I reached out to the front desk, they mentioned they would have someone look at it but they never did. In addition, they never followed up to check and see if the solution was resolved. Very disappointing and frustrating

The room was dirty floor, sticky and filthy. carpet with tons of food crumbs everywhere and an old leftover pizza and ice cream left in the fridge. The bathroom was gross. The beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. Pretty good breakfast set up as well. Overall, it gets a….meh

The hotel itself seemed nice! We arrived later than planned and check in was a breeze….assigned room 306. Room size was great! There was TWO tvs on the dresser/vanity area that took up the entire top. One would turn on, the other would not. The remote would only turn on the tv and nothing else, so watching tb was a no go. The bed my daughter was to sleepbinin looked made up until we pulled the covers back and the sheets were wrinkled mess as if they had been slept on and covers pulled back over. She ended up sleeping with me in the other bed. Shower the next morning to only find that there were two towels in the room. Once in the shower, there was a used bottle of shampoo and open bar of soap on the corner soap holder. Bathroom floor had hair and spots of something that looked spilled. We had to leave out early or i would have definitely complained. Once left for the dance comp, realized i left my portable charger plugged into the bathroom and a clear dance bag with a pair of dance shoes. I messaged the line but eas told they would check and have not heard back. I feel like by the way the parking lot was so crowded and that we arrived late, we got the room that was “left over”. Dissapointed in the room we had, but hotel itself was ok. Breakfast smelled great but didnt get to eat as we had to get on the road!

They renovated a few years ago, and interior rooms, hallways, are well kept. The room furnishings are comparable to Marriott but cheaper.

Had to move room for my first time - tv didn't work, Nor did the fridge. Second time after 12:30 pm the heat was stuck at 84 degrees!!! Still waiting for front desk to find a new room where we can regulate the temperature. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice.

Really bad experience, the sheets had a lot hair and probably weren’t even changed and nobody came to changed it and I had to grab a set to the front desk and I make my own bed, also there was so dusty and I found a Cockroach in the bathroom. I don’t think I can come back again.

No microwave in the room that I requested. The mini fridge did not work. There was excessive trash behind the dresser. And the drawer handle on the night stand was broke…just barely hanging on. The room door was not flush with frame, therefore a big gap on the side and underneath the door. The bed was comfortable and clean! The bathroom was clean.

For the price that we paid for this stay, the service was terrible. No housekeeping services. I had to go down to the front desk to refresh our towels. I had to go down to the front desk to get new Kleenex, etc..

Hotel is definitely showing its age and for the rate charged should be in much better condition.

Very cool hotel layout, adjacent to good restaurant. Pool is behind hotel and didn't seem to be open - doesn't feel super safe behind the hotel.

We arrived at 7PM, our room was not ready until 8:19PM. The front desk stated they were busy due to a volleyball event. Meanwhile we were surcharged more than 3 times the normal rate due to parents weekend. They stated a credit would be applied. Not surprisingly it was not applied and they are not texting back from the line they were checking in on during my stay. Barely had towels in the room. Hair on the bathroom floor. Gross. Do not stay here!!! Very disappointed. Also smelled like cigarette smoke.

I’m wondering if hotels.com get the bad rooms with issues because this interior had a huge past water leak where the wall paper was buckled. I’ve had experience before at other hotels with issues like this so now I’m thinking the hotels.com customers get the rooms with issues.

Was in town for Clemson family weekend and location easily walkable to town and stadium.

Beautiful facility with indoor balconi

The property has plenty of parking and a nice open atrium inside for guests to socialize and watch tv. Breakfast was delicious.

It was convenient and clean. No issues I just didn’t love that my window was looking into a common area.

This hotel is clearly poorly managed. The actual front desk staff are amazing and should be commended! But the cleaning staff is clearly not doing their job. We found fleas in one room, hair in the bed in another, and ended up leaving before our stay was over. The front desk staff was very understanding in helping us change rooms when we needed to and also in helping us get a partial refund when we wanted to leave. It’s too bad that a hotel at such a great location is so poorly managed.

I was there three hours before check in time and was not offered complementary check i. or even an option to pay for it. The place looks very empty so hard to see why.

It was a good stay overall. A little noisy with the open area and bathroom could have been cleaner.

Do NOT stay here. Our room was so dirty- we found crumbs in our bed under the sheets and the bathroom shower was disgusting. It was so bad we left at 1am and slept on my daughter’s floor!

Near Clemson university. Nice size room. Could use some upgrades. Need to have shuttles to and from Clemson football games.

The property is clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The room smelled a bit musty but got better once we put on the air conditioning. The breakfast is good but I didn’t love the coffee.

My room wasn't stocked with any toiletries upon my arrival (shampoo, conditioner, soap) and my AC was broken throughout my stay so my room was hot. Bed was comfortable at least.

Great place to stay for me while working at the University. Quiet, great staff, clean and a great breakfast selection. As well as a restaurant on site. Made it easy. Also a par 30 golf course only 10 minutes away. And a gas station/ convenience store essentially in the parking lot.

Bed was comfortable. Opened curtain and saw people a few feet away from me on the free breakfast line. Every time a chair scraped against the floor it screeched and I couldn’t sleep past 7am. I wasn’t able to open my curtains the entire time bc every person in the atrium could see me. Glad there wasn’t a night time even keeping me. Weird set-up. The hotel location is good. Not far from Clemson and stores & restaurants. Front desk lady friendly. Fridge and microwave in room.

The room had a musty smell and when i requested to switch stated that they were full for the night, we left a day earlier as i felt sick in that room with the odor.

There is a unique covered courtyard in the middle of the rooms. My room had a sliding glass door into the so-called courtyard. There are ping-pong, tables and cornhole games. People were playing till late at night and didn’t follow the quiet hours. In addition, people came home drunk at some point being really loud in there. It echoes greatly. The refrigerator made a very loud clunk every hour. I could see through the door jamb and could hear every little noise.

We have decided when we visit our son in Salem SC we would use this location as long as available. Convenient location with easy in/out access and Publix just above you.

on our arrival we were early, we were told we had to pay for an early check in fee, we didn’t have a problem with that if the lady was nice about it and looked at us and welcomed us to the hotel. instead she sat at the desk didn’t look at us and we abrupt about it. Then we went to take a shower and the curtain in the shower had mold all on the bottom of it. The cleaning lady was very nice about it but i had to put up the new curtain because she didn’t know how to put it up. Then that night at 10:30 the TV goes out, we had no TV until the next afternoon. Then the same thing happens with the TV before we went out for dinner. Then on top of everything the electric goes out, which we understand it wasn’t there fault, but they put out the breakfast food it was hot, they decided to take it away then the lights go back on at 8:00 and they decided to not put out any hot food but the lady that was working it decide to eat her eggs in front of everyone that she heated up. unbelievable!!! We went to use the waffle machine and the decided to not plug it in. I never seen anything like this before and this wasn’t our first time staying there and we will not be staying there moving forward.

We have stayed here for several years and never had a problem but this time was totally different. We wasn’t told that they where hosting the Orange and White day. You couldn’t even park to get in the front door and when you was in the front to check in they was playing music so load that you couldn’t hear the host. Once in the room there was hair all over the bathroom and the next morning woke up to roaches on the floor and wall. We won’t ever be back.

Everything was unplugged or not working when we got in room including mini fridge. We went for Rock the Country so had snacks to eat before and after we got back. Well, they went to complete waste with the mini fridge not working. We opened it and a bug came out. Called downstairs and they did send someone up but it still never stayed cold enough to keep anything cold. Hotel was HOT. I mean like they didn’t keep the A/C on in the main part hot. So, when the A/C wasn’t running in the room it got warm quickly too even with turning it down in room. I will say it’s one of the few hotels that brought back the actual breakfast buffet but it’s nothing to brag about. I’ve stayed in BW hotels before and never had this issue.

The hotel was very quiet, clean and staff was very friendly!

We took my daughter for a tour of Clemson. The woman at the check-in counter was a student at Clemson, which was nice because we were able to ask her questions. The hotel is really close to campus.

They have a restaurant on site at the hotel that stays open late on the weekends. It has good food choices and a full bar. The hotel serves breakfast daily each morning till 10am. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The rooms come with a mini fridge, microwave, and flat screen tv. Internet service was great. Room was very quiet and clean with ample amount of towels and toilet paper.

Was a great stay. Breakfast was okay. Room was clean. Towels were fresh. Staff was nice. Room was a lil warm due to not being able to turn ac down past 67 as it was hot there. All in all ot was okay.

Excellent stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The noise level in the room was bothersome, but we were there for a rock concert. I think our neighbors were just excited.

Check in was easy. Staff was nice. After entering in room everything looked great and very clean until a roach crawled up onto the side table where my grandson was eating. I then started looking around beds and walls. I saw numerous roaches crawling all in the room, which I recorded and showed to front desk staff. The floor I was given a room on was being worked on with some rooms being painted etc. so without question, the clerk changed my room immediately to another floor. I checked the room out very good and saw no issues. No bugs. It was nice and clean. Stayed 3 days. No other issues.

Great location

First pulling up the outside looked old and i was worried , but after entering the inside was as pictures and rooms were clean . My girls enjoyed the balcony

The quick overall impression was very nice. Nice large dining area for breakfast, front desk clerk was very friendly and nice. 1/2 of the rooms had balconies overlooking the inside of the large dining area. No outside windows. I was very thankful we didn't end up with one of those tooms. When we checked in, they gave us a room that hadn't been cleaned yet. The maid's cart was in there with unmade beds. We had to tell the clerk that the room hadn't been cleaned so she gave us another room. The room was ok but I killed a bunch of bugs while I was there and it didn't seem like the room had been vacuumed. I found crumbs on the floor near my bed. The food wasn't great. The juice was warm and the eggs had cheese in them so I couldn't eat them. The bacon was very good though.

We needed a place to stay with our XL dog while we were in towm. This hotel had no size restrictions and a lower pet fee than other options. The hotel, while an older building, was in decent shape and the staff was friendly. We will likely use this hotel again if we bring our dog to town.

The best hotel in town! Great experience

The roof in the hallway leaked when it rained. The ice machine leaked all over the floor 100% of the time. The toilet was not secured to the floor. Staff stole dumbbells from the fitness center to use as doorstops. Pool area was frequently out of clean towels while dirty towels piled up in the bin. Staff frequently smoked cigarettes just outside the side entrance.

The staff was incredibly friendly and professional the room was huge and the proximity to CVS, gas station and many restaurants was an added bonus

Shower head broke and almost hit me while in shower. Not at all what pictures or websites make it out to be.

The hotel was safe, clean, and peaceful. That’s all I ask for.

Good breakfast

We were here for the Savanna Bananas Game. The room was clean and spacious. The pub/bar was due to close early but there were so many folks getting back from the game late they opted to stay open--thanks for staying late and feeding us hungry folks!

Surprised to find breakfast buffet

Not much green space with a fairly busy road nearby but it was nice and quiet in our room.

Fine for an overnight. Breakfast is above average for a freebie. Fitness center was not great. TVs didn’t work, limited/missing equipment.

Check in was easy after a long drive with children. Hotel staff was friendly. Breakfast was great. The rooms were clean and comfy.

We had an absolutely easy check in and check out, very friendly and accommodating staff, room was spacious, quiet and clean. Bed was comfy and clean also. Location is perfectly close to the campus. There is a drug store and a restaurant next door, and a Walmart neighborhood store a few minutes away in case you need something. Cons: Bathroom was very small, the water wouldn’t drain from the tub easily, and would cover your feet up to the ankle. Hallways had food trash in them here and there and a lot of cleaner/ Clorox discoloration spots everywhere. Overall, if I am in need of a last minute reservation at a reasonably priced hotel again, I would stay here, but I’ll definitely make sure the shower drains easily.

Our room could have been cleaned better. The drainage in the room wasn’t the best. However, everyone was friendly and it was combined and affordable.

Great hotel close to Clemson University! Good free breakfast and love that there is a bar/restaurant in the hotel. Also, loved the main room. Large with big TV’s for sports. Room was clean and up to date and the bed was very comfy! Easy checkin as well.
