Homewood Suites by Hilton St. Petersburg Clearwater

Perfect location, between Tampa downtown and Clearwater with free parking. The breakfast had quite a few options and kind staff. The room we picked was just what we needed, with a full kitchen so we could cook for our son that has multiple food allergies.

Just the way of the shower is that the water go outside the showering area and I was a little concerned about the safety if we don’t go out very careful.

Homewood Suites offers spacious, clean rooms equipped with half kitchens, perfect for heating or storing food. The staff was friendly and professional, and I love the renovations!

Was not able to connect to the WiFi. Followed the instructions but nothing worked. Room was clean. Staff were friendly. Was told I was given an ADA room but nothing about the room was ADA accessible. This didn’t pose a problem for me or my guest, though.

Decent place. Couldn’t connect to WiFi during my stay. The refrigerator in my room wasn’t working properly so they had to replace it, but they took care of it immediately. Staff was courteous.

I could not use the pool because the property was under renovation. We also could not access the lobby for the same reason. The food was served in a hallway. The gym was nice until they started renovating it then we could not use it.

The portion we stayed in was newly renovated The parking lot was WAY too dark. It felt sketchy!!! The sign out front at night just looks like a red box. You cannot see the sign hardly at all.

Staff are very nice and quick to respond The kitchen floor to our suite is sticky and unclean. Breakfast is just terrible where the eggs were pre-cooked, even the boiled eggs are not boiled fresh at the property, instead they bought pre-boiled eggs from the grocery stores. I know the taste of pre-boiled eggs from grocery stores.

The cabinets in the kitchen were broken and paint was missing. This hotel definitely needs the upgrade. But the room temperature was good and the room was quiet. I’d stay here again in the future after the remodel.

I got a newly renovated room. Very nice clean and modern. Good clean bathroom grouting, a pet peeve of mine. Here on business and would definitely stay here again. Great Italian restaurant less than a mile away.

This property was undergoing renovations when I visited, but that wasn't the issue. The room was musty, the sofa was old & uncomfortable with cushions that were compressed beyond usability. The hot water was warm-to-hot at best, which I understand may be a safety feature, but what about it running out in the shower after less than 10 minutes? Even that could've been overlooked, but they have a serious ant problem. I had a room with a kitchenette, and I stay in these suites at many different hotels, and have never seen ants so bad, indicative of a serious cleanliness issue. Ants on the kitchen counter, the table, the sofa. I've stayed in many suites in warm weather climates & never seen an ant issue like that. I won't stay there again.

The property was clean and my husband loved that we were on the 1st floor. The Staff was awesome and housekeeping kept us stocked with towels. Latoya at the front desk would check on us to see how things were going and what could she do to make our stay better. That spoke volumes!!! ? Everything was Awesome, we were pleased.

Easy to get to, beds comfy. One of the two rooms we booked smelled like someone had a cat on the pull out couch. Wasn’t very appealing.

Can you please give me some rewards points i really feel i deserve this.

The building needs renovating. The rooms are tired. The suite had duct tape, keeping the carpet down. The building is worn in the rooms.

Elise and Emily were great with customer service but the hotel had house cleaning issues. There were roaches, hair on bathroom walls, clogged toilets, stains in furniture, carpet , and bath towels and no shampoo and conditioner in complimentary bottles inside showers.

There was a mildly unpleasant odor in the hall ways but the room was fine.

The staff was absolutely tremendous, the facility gorgeous, however; there is absolutely no lighting in the parking lot and no security cameras. Our first night there the wheels on our rental were stolen, same with another car, and another entire car was stolen as well. They can't be held liable due to the "park at your own risk" signs everywhere, however there is no lighted secure parking close by, and with two children under 3, I was not going to walk in the dark next to an extremely busy road. If they can't do lights, they should at least get cameras.

She told me she was kicking us out of our Room which we had nowhere to go at that point for to 2 Holiday week because I Complained. When we got to room hair was all over the place including the bedding that wasn't even changed from previous occupant.Hair in the Sink & Fridge.Table & chairs in Room was so greasy black it ruined my shirt when I sat down .IAll the racks & Lamps are COVERED in rust. They didn't make the bed for 3rd person before checkin.Husband went to add blanket for her & there was piece of Metal sticking out & he cut his leg. The Manager (Crystal) told me I was no longer a Guest & to leav front desk (though wouldn't let us check out that day) it wasn't check in time. We couldn't not accept the Room as we had nowhere to go die to Holiday. I asked for another CLARION/CHOICE Hotel & she said to get away from HER desk & not ask for a thing remainder of stay.I have photos/video of all of it. The bed sash at bottom looks like it had Semen on it. Bathroom was FILTHY & Toilet not attatched to floor. The area they serve food had ROACHES & dropings on walls. Entire building reeks of Filth,Trash that's been sitting days & Mold. Would highly recommend. Great value for money and close to all the beaches and Downtown Tampa. The staff are lovely - always friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Only one elevator is working. I do not like the idea that this is a pet friendly hotel. To know that a pet may have been in the room I stayed is quite disgusting.

Our room had fleas, wife and children's ankles were eaten up and they had to take antihistamine's for the itching. Staff did the best they could, but after one night my wife was unable to stomach staying there another night. Were it not for that flea issue I think the stay would have been perfectly fine.

Pet experience: There is a small area designated for your dog to handle their business. Nothing special, but it gets the job done for a short stay. Cons: Our bathroom tub clogged up. The location is somewhat far from the beach and local stores such as Walmart, Target, Dollar Tree, etc. However, there is a Publix right across the street from hotel. Overall the hotel was great! This was my first time traveling with a new young baby and as a first time mom, I couldn't ask for a better experience. The room was clean and the hotel was well maintained.

Our stay was great. The room was exactly as described and I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the room and the full kitchen. Breakfast could’ve been better. The sausage links lacked flavor and the eggs were a bit gummy. Would stay again.

The property is very convenient to the airport and all beaches. I was very disappointed in the Housekeeping, I was told every other day and it never came. I spoke to multiple front desk workers and the ball was dropped multiple times.

The people in the reception looked more focus on their phone, then helping the clients. Whenever you asked for something, they sounded and responded like I was bothering them. If you need place for a quick stop, this is the place. If you need a place to enjoy with the family a relaxing weekend, this is not the place.

Cannot ask for better, especially for less than $200 per night. Place looked brand new, and the staff were very customer focused. Top notch stay!

Cannot ask for better, especially for less than $200 per night. Place looked brand new, and the staff were very customer focused. Top notch stay!

We had to book this room as a very, very last minute thing and it turned out well. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable and even had a ceiling fan. LaTifah at the front desk was super nice when we checked in. Would stay there again.

First, the female that was at the front desk in the evening is not polite and seemed very bothered that I asked a question and she had to look away from her phone to answer me, next the room was not clean, in the main bedroom there were cereal on the floor I would assume from the person that had left just before I arrived, hair on the sheets, fridge was dirty with something that was spilt and not cleaned, in the bathroom the 3 towels that were in there had black smudged finger prints on them like someone rubbed their hand across them And lastly, the room looked straight out into the pool and seating area literally there were people sitting in my window at night eating and talking loud, was just very uncomfortable. After all of this I did start wondering if it was just me but after seeing reviews of this place online, I am not the only one, there were actually pictures of some people saying there were bedbugs in the bed and on the pillows!! Oh yea the parking lot is pitch black, no lighting at all and no businesses that are open to even help with lighting, the hotel sign was not even lit up, just had a red light going around it, if your from out of the area and not familiar, you are going to pass this place. I am a Hilton Diamond member and this place should be ashamed to ever call themself part of the Hilton family, will never return to this property

The staff was helpful and professional at the front desk which I appreciate. The room was clean when I arrived however there was mold all over the shower areas wallpaper, there was a silver fish bug crawling near the sink and the fan in the bedroom did not work and the alarm clock time was wrong and it was not clear how to adjust the clock time (alarm time could adjust)

Not sure why I was given a very corner secluded room when the parking not full.

Well it is dated. The halls are dark, the pull out bed was overly uncomfortable, there were multiple roaches in the bathroom, hairs on the sheets, and the shower had no pressure. The size of the rooms were a plus and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.

The property/ Rooms need an update. Carpets missing the hairs with bald spots in the bed room, Bedroom fan missing the remote control how ever the staff was wonderful offered another room and really went out of their way to please us. All 5 stars except the property condition. appears well maintained but needs a face lift. Thanks.

Worked out great. We were given early checkins on both of our overnight stays. The front desk people were very accommodating and friendly.

Our room was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable as well as the couch. While the room looked clean, there was a wet-dog odor in the room. The front desk staff members were very kind and pleasant.

Check-in at 2am due to flight delayed and took more than 10mins because they couldn’t find our reservation. Hotel is big, with very long hallways. It is in a convenient location, with restaurants and shops nearby. Room was very clean and very spacious. The sofa bed and small kitchen were convenient. Breakfast was better than the usual hotel breakfast. The personnel was friendly and helpfull. Pool was warm but the water has a lot of leaves from the plants and trees around. I will stay again and definitely recommend.

Only a one night stay but perfect for the family. Breakfast was wonderful since 2 small children were with us. Very clean, ideal location and the staff were helpful.

There was a huge cockroach looking bug in the bathroom when we arrived. My husband squished it so fast, we didnt really observe if it was indeed a cockroach but it sure looked like one. We didnt see any more after that during our 5 night stay. Our one bedroom suite was okay. It came furbished with dishes, pots, and pans but wish they provided dish soap or dishwasher soap. They didnt provide any extra trash bags in the room so we had to go to the front desk and ask for items such as these every time we needed something. The staff was very friendly though. Overall, our stay was ok. We were out and about most of the time so didnt spend too much time in our suite.

Property units was a little outdated, not very clean, some lights didn’t work, garbage from previous stay was never cleaned out. Didn’t feel comfortable overall as far as cleanliness. Area was ok and staff was friendly.
