my first night I saw 3 roaches, then the owners, lady was nice but her husband was a bit rude. overall the place needs improvements in cleanliness and customer service

It’s old style buffet Florida Motel. The family running the property were responsive and helpful. Kitchen was basic and we brought our own pots and pan, cutlery too. We were happy with these very simple accommodations, decent beds and clean sheets and towels. No frills, but that was fine for us.

I liked the room and was happy that they still had a smoking room which is usually not available anymore these days the room was clean even tho it was an older place i The owners were very rude and almost returned my money bc they saw my suck brother (who is in chemo treatment for stage 4 lung cancer ) They didn't say why however the woman w to I assume was the wife said " oh I can't rent you the room , you have to much stuff" when the man can't to the front he spoke to her Im foreign language and she took out money and gave us a key to an upstairs room. We stayed for 2 days and in the 3rd day she said she would t take our reservation bc we had too much stuff and the man that I was with us suck. They were both very rude and racist and wouldn't even speak when I said good morning they just gave me a nasty look .I would recommend the hotel if not for the very rude nasty owners or whatever they are personally I think they should go back to whatever country they come from bc they clearly do not appreciate our great. Country and the opportunities that have been afforded to them by the USA right now they could possibly be somewhere that isn't as comfortable so they don't belong here making us uncomfortable. J/S

The hotel rooms are extremely outdated. The tub was dirty. The refrigerator was dirty. The air conditioner was old and not keeping cold. The website is very deceiving

I asked for a pet friendly hotel when I booked it and it gave me the hotel. After being there , a woman confronted me and asked me for my dog's card , which is against the law. I contacted a lawyer from American disability act and they said they're not allowed to ask for my dog's card. So they may be hearing from me.

Very convenient location for what I was doing. It is an older property but well maintained. The room was large and nicely furnished even if some of those furnishings were outdated, they were well maintained. I've stayed at places for twice the price that were not as nice.

Nothing. It was so nasty, we left and went to another property. ABSOLUTELY NASTY PLACE! DIRTY, MUSTY, NASTY ROOM. Corner of the sheets had slobber stains. Coverlet filthy, as was carpet. Door had a 1" gap all around. Guy at window (office is never open) was stoned, couldn't speak English. I came to St Pete for eye surgery, so I didn't take pics of Rm 105. After surgery, we took our bags and booked another stay elsewhere. I wasn't about to compromise my vision in a dirty room. Booking will do NOTHING about a refund, telling me to call back the stoned hotel manager. Isn't that why you're here booking? I could have called the property to book in the first place! Common sense would tell you I booked another hotel for the same time up the street. No point in using Booking if they "sugarcoat" the hotel room photos for their website, and don't stand behind their loyal customers (of over 4 years.) REPEAT...I DID NOT STAY HERE, IT WAS A DUMP! BTW, not everyone that comes here is on vacation, so unfortunately I took no photos. I just wanted my eye surgery over, and get my stuff out of that filthy room, and to sleep in a clean room for the night.

Good location Rude when I asked for a bottom floor and the temperature never got below 80 degrees however the ac was on 60 degrees. We had to leave and find another place due to the uncomfortable accommodation

The room it was clean. Needed newer bed speads. They had holes in them.Had 2 diffent styles of bath towel. No shampoo in room. Wall needed old paint stripped and repainted. Stairs and sidewalk need to be pressure washed. A few permanent type guests staying so there things outside on sidewalk.

Did not see any bugs. Room was clean, though it was dated. Had a king with 2 pillows. Pool area looked nice. I would stay again. It's not bad considering the price. About a 15 minute drive from The Sound amphitheater.

The property was a mess, very dirty inside and out. I booked my room for a Saturday and Sunday. It was very late Friday night when I booked this room. I drove there to see if I could stay Friday night also. I offered to pay, but I was told not to worry, because the refrigerator didn't work. Plus it was a room for the handicap, meani g the shower head was only four feet off tge floor. Door deadbolt didn't lock, screen falling off window. Back bathroom window,was very low to the ground and as far as I was co concerned it made me feel like that room could be easily broken into by anyone. The worst parr was that hetold me not to worry about paying for Friday, since I arrived there around 1am. He absolutely gave me the impression that I wasn't being charged for Friday, because of it being a handicap room and also the refrigerator didn't work. WhT happened was he did charge me for Friday and Saturday, so when I returned later Sunday to get some sleep and be able to shower in the morning, I couldn't get into the room. He had deactivated my key even though my booking reservation clearly was for the dates of that Weekend. I spoke to him and he clearly didn't care that I was inconvenienced and misled into a agreement for a room that was one of the worst places, I have ever been. The pictures showed a very nice place, however I think they were taken 40 years ago. It's old and run down. My itinerary said " kitchenette ". But it was just a broken microwave and and fridge. No sample soap or anything. No coffee maker. A broken ironing board leaning against the wall. Very disappointing

We booked for 2 nights only styaed 1 night because there were roaches crawling all over the room. we had checked in early and left for the evening arrived back at 1 am to find this nightmare immediately the next morning i contacted managment who is aware of the problem and doesnt care. I asked to be refunded both nights and was refused and was told well you slept with them. this is the worst property i have ever stayed at by far i travel alot BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE

During a 3 day stay, house cleaning never once entered the room to my knowledge. Even thought I was gone each morning and afternoon. Service person seemed to wait until I was at the door or in the room and asked if service was needed. I did manage to get fresh towels one day. Building is old, some attempts at being modern have been upgraded. There is a hair dryer, ironing board and iron, nice refrigerator, microwave and large TV. No drain control for the sink and the bathroom tissue holder is broken. Place looks good in the photos but the devil is in the details. If you want morning coffee, you have to drive about 4 blocks to Dunkin Donuts. No in room coffee.

In one word NASTY! From the moment we pulled in and saw a couple doing crack on the North stairwell, kind sums it all up. Then I pulled up to the check in office, and although the sign said OPEN, it was in fact closed. So I ring the bell, and this clearly perturbed older brown man opens an 8 inch by 11 inch window and says yes? I said I'm checking in. It was obvious that I interrupted something of his. He asked for my ID and said 2 to check in? I concurred. He then proceeded to give me one pass, for a room that he thought was ready. I asked him for a second card and then I got that nasty look from him once more. Let's just say I did not feel welcome here at all. Then we go to our ready room? after being on the road for 10 hours, we just needed somewhere to change and relax. OMG what a nasty room this was. Now I know this was rated 2.5/5 stars, but I would not give it more than a half a star at best. The pillows had no pillow covers and they were stained. The mattresses had what appeared to be blood/rust at the bottom, no bed bugs, but nasty. I had to find a maid to get me pillow covers. There were cigarette burns in the sheets and mattress. The Fridge/Stove were ugh at best and the shower pressure did not exist. Since we had plans for that night, we decided to stay at the least that night and leave in the morning. Upon returning to the motel that night from our plans, lo and behold the crack smokers were still there. We did not feel safe. We did not feel clean. We put the tab

Management was very accommodating. They provided us with a toaster and made sure there was fresh towels daily. They tried hard to please us and we are very appreciative.

Inn was right on the main road to clearwater beach and Pier 60. Walmart was just a block away. Very old place but nice and clean. Nice tv with great selections. Fridge and microwave were nice. There were some people hanging out outside room next to us, were friendly but made me a little nervous. Overall a nice place to stay for a night or two while visiting the clearwater area.

Black, brown, yellow, and beige spots all over them. #3- HAIR was everywhere. In the bed, in the sink, in the shower. #4- The owners don’t give a flying crap about you. We called up from our cell phones (because they disconnected the hotel room phone…), and we asked for different sheets and pillow covers. We told them they were dirty, and they hung up on us. They denied us clean sheets. We felt extremely uncomfortable. We had to sleep on top of the bed covers and use our clothes to cover up. The absolute worst hotel experience in my LIFE. Do not waste your money.

I would recommend this motel if you’re bipoc or anyone who wants an affordable, convenient, centrally located place to stay that has a clean bed, pool, ac, and no bed bugs, if you don’t mind that it has an older looking outside. We stayed at another hotel and had issues with the staff, so a business that treats us decent is priority. Also you’re sleeping inside, so the outside aesthetics shouldn’t matter. The inside of the rooms are clean and comfortable. The only issue my family had was the door key didn’t work, but the staff took care of it right away and we had no issues with any of the employees. For around $90? Sure absolutely I’d recommend! Hotels/Motels in Pinellas County are outrageous, this is a deal.

I booked the hotel based on the photos and reviews which aren't at all accurate. The rooms are dirty and low quality. They haven't been updated in decades. A number of guests appear to be long term residents. I wouldn't recommend staying there with family.

I booked the hotel based on the photos and reviews which aren't at all accurate. The rooms are dirty and low quality. They haven't been updated in decades. A number of guests appear to be long term residents. I wouldn't recommend staying there with family.

Nice little old style motel with concrete slab construction -- so upstairs rooms arent so loud if you pick a downstairs room. No views, basic pool, wifi has issues but they plan to fix that soon (as of 4/20/22). You are right on Gulf to Bay road -- which is very busy so you'll have to adjust your driving habits, but its not too too loud and its maybe 5 miles to alot of good things -- including the beach !

Quick check in and very accommodating. Room was very clean. The staff was pleasant. The location was extremely convenient for meals and other shopping needs.

Rooms need complete renovation. Bad carpet, very old chair and table. rooms were not done when we enter the room. we have to call owner and ask to clean it. A lady came in in 5 min and she just fix the bad sheet again. Didn't changed it even. No vacuum was used. Owner was very friendly..

...and hot tub is emptied and not working ... Our neighbor was the best attraction to this stay! Room did have a regular size fridge/freezer alittle stove and a microwave like efficient apartment. Does have a wall air conditioner I'd give it a 1⭐ Customer service plays a big role ( in my book)

There were bugs, sink didn’t have running water and police had to come and grab someone out of the room down from mine!! Police told me to watch my car!!!! I found a new place the next day and this place wouldn’t refund me!! I’ll have an attorney go after everyone!!!

Had to stay in what he said was more expensive room until check outwhich was 11am.he would have a room ready by 1pm. So when i came back at 1. It was not ready he told me to go back to the other room. I really wanted to be at the beach. 3pm is when i finally got my room. I had to do some work.the wifi worked Sunday. Wouldn't stay on at all on Monday. Frustrating so i left Monday at 3. Because i was miserable. Was paid up till Tuesday.

I did not even get to stay here as they wanted to charge me extra for my child and the place did not look good at all and bunch of junkies coming and going.

I liked that the inn was only 15 minutes away from the beach, and it was close to a lot of shopping. Easy to navigate the parking lot too.

You can’t beat the price. It had the largest fridge/ freezer combo I have seen in a hotel room. It was comfortable and clean. It also had directv in the room.

Finally he gave it back and we left. I really was quite upset about going home as I had been to a party all day and was tired. I don't like driving in the dark let alone another hour and 40minutes home. Just ruined what was a pleasurable weekend.

Was not clean and it smelled. A lot of arguing from the staff with customers. TV WiFi and phone issues. The toilet was very slanted in the restroom. Just didn’t feel comfortable at ALL!!! I Would never recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

Wondering why ppl had given high scores to this hotel? It had broken furniture, scratched furniture. I had to move the table to get to the outlet and there was old throw up in the bottom of the bed, ughhhhh. I had to coveir up with a towel! Ughhhh I chose this place cause it had high scores, not the case!! Rather 1 place.

loved this motel! everything perfect! great staff, nice, clean , spacious rooms. nice, clean heated swim pool. very well maintained grounds! Can't wait to come back here!

I was very pleasantly surprised with my stay at Gulf Way. I honestly didn't expect a lot because of the price. The management, housekeeping, etc. were exceptionally accommodating. Would stay there again.

I don’t know how it got the ratings it did but this was by far the worst experience I’ve encountered thru your app. regardless of the rate which was more than the establishment was offering. I walked in & walked out didn’t stay...a waste of time & money.

This hotel was used because we had a late flight in to Tampa and were only going to be sleeping for about 6 hours. For this purpose it was ok, not much else. The hotel was fairly clean but very old and run down looking which didn’t give you a good feeling about the place. We checked in at about midnight and the people we saw that were staying at the hotel at that time of night seemed a little sketchy. We can’t comment on the area because we weren’t there long enough. The WiFi was very poor.

The bed is comfortable, the refrigerator is handy. There is a grocery store nearby. Fairly close to the beach, if you have a car. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We could go to the office and help ourselves to coffee and muffins, which we enjoyed. The pool is heated so we enjoyed it, even in March. One drawback was the wifi kept shutting off. This is an older hotel that needs a renovation.

When we showed up, cops surrounded the whole Inn. Turns out two people had just OD’ed in the parking lot. We did not feel very secure about the location after that. The service was just okay but the room was very run down - some type of mold in the bathroom.

Very bad place. Reserved a room with 2 beds and he gave us a room with one bed. Then had to pay extra to get 2 beds.

The room was clean...however, no coffee pot and no Kleenex. The extra money for the kitchenette was not worth it as there were no utensils to use or dishes so it didn't matter if you had a stove..,.no pot to cook on it

It's not worth what we paid, it should have been a lot nicer. The owner was really nice. The room was okay, nothing to brag about. We had two double beds with a kitchenette; no cookware, plates, utensils or a coffee pot. Location was okay, about 10-20 minute drive to the beach (depending on traffic).

You should have a coffee maker in the room, the staff responsed very quickly (5mins or less) to my needs
