This was a great place to stay while waiting to go to the airport the next day.

Meantime, I had my curling iron plugged in the whole time. Told them again that the reset didn't work, so they called maintenance. Maintenance brought me a another hair dryer, but too late, as I went next door to my friend's room to use her hair dryer (we had to get to the airport and I didn't want to be late getting there). The maintenance man told me that they were aware that the electrical outlet in my bathroom wasn't working. If that was the case, why did they put me in that room? Or at the very least let me know that the electrical outlet didn't work? At this moment, I realized that my curling iron has been plugged in for about half hour and when I went to check, it was not hot at all. I had to leave without doing my hair because we had to get to the airport. Like I said, everything else was great, but something like an electrical outlet not working is something that should have been fixed; or not assign anyone to that room until it is fixed.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms were very dirty. There were roaches and mold on the floor by the mini fridge. We only stayed one night to get to our flight early in the morning but will never stay there again.

The cleaning ladies were super lovely and nice I’ll go there again just for them. I asked one lady for pool towels and she takes the elevator down to get me stuff while she was cleaning a room and the other lady showed me where the pool is instead of just telling me directions. Loved the experience!!

The room was spacious. Check in was quick and the attendant was very polite. The shower handle was broken and difficult to use and the shower curtain was not the best. The pillows were either super soft or lumpy hard. I also found a dead cockroach on the floor in the bedroom.

This hotel is older and some of the furniture is you can tell it’s kind of worn. The elevators are out of inspection date by about eight months. But everything is clean here. It’s very nice. No smart TVs. But there’s cable everything works. Some of the lights the switches are gone, but for the price and what you get in the breakfast was delicious. We’re talking scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, yogurt, real butter all the coffee you can drink, orange juice, toast jelly rolls, muffins just a wonderful breakfast set up everything spotless there is a washer and dryer system in there if you want to clean your clothes 250 for a wash which is a good price I mean for the money you’re getting a really good deal especially if you have kids and they eat breakfast. That’s like $10 a kid at a restaurant. Good parking. They have video cameras all around. I didn’t go in the swimming pool, but it looked really good and clean. They have a little smoking area outside for folks that’s nice. When my son comes home next week I’m gonna probably stay there again. Pick him up at the airport.

I wish I could tell more about this hotel, I booked it an error because I needed to be at the Tampa airport not the Clearwater Saint Pete, I immediately called the hotel and hotels.com, and I was assured by both that they would remove the charge as I had just re-booked another hotel with them at the correct airport. I even spoke with the manager the next day, who assured me that they have reversed the charges, but to no avail because the charge was still on my credit card statement. Quite disappointing.

Room and property was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Pool was very nice. Biggest complaint was due to a computer glitch I was charged for my room then a hold was placed on my card for double the amount of the room. The hotel manager ( Joe ) tried to resovle the problem but wasn't able to. Still waiting for the hold to be released. Which disrupted our vacations plans and put us in a financial burden.

I was greeted by the friendliest gentleman when I first got there and everyone I spoke with after was just as friendly. Breakfast was great, they changed up the waffle mix flavors everyday and the hot food also changed up. The rooms were very nice and well maintained as was the property in whole. I will definitely choose to stay here again.

The only thing i would say is the pool upkeep is definitely lacking. There were things floating in the pool day after day such as bottles, trash and such. The other thing is how very abruptly they shut the breakfast down even when you are standing right there making breakfast no courtesy in that aspect. Other than that it was good. Just giving feed back in hopes maybe it could improve the next persons stay.

This hotel was fine. However the planes were loud and it is next door to a giant strip club that stays up until 3am. The staff was super friendly and awesome. The rooms were musty smelling but the beds were comfortable. I’d probably not stay here again but it wasn’t terrible.

Courteous, beyond kind & very professional - just to name a few things about our experience with the amazing front desk people (Michael & Nancy) and how they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable ... especially for our special needs son, who does not do very well with any kind of routine change or staying anywhere away from his safe space at home. I had to book an extra night beyond our original stay and it was taken care of immediately by Nancy. We didn't have to move to another room - thank you Nancy. Originally when I called to make the reservation and spoke with Michael - told him our situation that we were looking to book a room there for 4 nights and needed to check in early due to our special needs son ... he took care of it. Said that he made sure to put us in a room that would give us the most privacy to help regulate our son and that we could check in early the next morning. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Thanks again Michael and Nancy, you guys are a godsend

The lady who was in charge and maintained the breakfast bar was amazing. She was very observant and knew when someone needed help. She helped with kindness and no judgement of making anyone feel less than. The man on our arrival put medicine in the frig and the next morning the lady at the desk retrieved the medicine. Extremely helpful and attentive staff!

We booked the hotel for the night be for a flight because it has an airport shuttle. Our flight was at 7:40 am. The hotel shuttle doesn’t start till 7:00 am. Useless for us. Allegent airlines had 7 flights leaving st Pete’s from 5:45 till 9:30 on that day. Hardly anyone staying at that hotel could use the shuttle. They would have arrived too late.

Unfortunately I didn't have the beat stay I honestly wish I could get half of a refund as as we had 2 lizzars in the room crawling all on the walls through the night and for some reason sheets didn't feel clean at all. . Much I could say but I would have rather speak to management. Breakfast was mid.

The biggest issue was that the mattress on the fold out couch beds were disgustingly dirty and ripped in spots. We stayed in two different rooms and had the same issues with the couch mattress in both rooms. Other than that, the main beds and rooms were fine. The pool area was nice, but the pool needed vacuumed due to debris at the bottom.

King sized bed two adults stayed at one night. Cleaned room. Bath tub was small for a 6ft men. Breakfast was simple Americans styles.

The breakfast offered had a good variety and the staff were nice. There were some issues with the upkeep of the property though. On the 3rd floor, 2 of the 3 dryers were out of order and the elevator button would not stay lit to call for the elevator. I used the stairs when I was in a hurry. The hallway carpet also had tears in it.

The staff at this hotel is wonderful, but the condition of the hotel is outdated and rundown. The rooms, bed, HVAC, and plumbing need to be updated. Upon arrival we had to change rooms because the hot water and TV wasn’t working in the room we had reserved. In the second room, we could not get the room temperature at a comfortable level, it was either too hot or too cold, the toilet barely flushed and the bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. I was not satisfied with our stay and will think twice before staying at another Comfort Inn.

Hotels.com messed up my arrival date, which was programmed, as Thursday to Monday, but confirmed as Wed - Sat. This was done in Atlanta, GA on Wed 9:45pm EST, so it would be impossible to arrive in Tampa, FL on Wednesday, no matter what method we took other than fantasy Transporter.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The property was close to the airport, which was appreciated after unexpected flight delays found us stuck in the area until we could get our rental car the next morning. Nreakfast was hot, a good variety and plentiful. The breakfast staff member was so friendly!

The hotel is also located about 2 blocks from a fire station, so there is the chance you will be woken up unexpectedly by a fire engine horn at any hour of the night or morning if there is a fire call- again not the hotels fault but would be a good to know for travelers hoping to get a full nights sleep. The breakfast was pretty good so that was a positive.

We had a two week stay at this property and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Hot & cold breakfast was adequate and staff throughout was very friendly and helpful. Pool was well maintained and the property overall was very clean. Front office manager, Zakira has a great staff working the front desk.

Great location near Jabil. Staff was super with a friendly quick check in and very ease check out with my receipt under my door. Breakfast was great (real bacon and scabbled eggs). The free internet connection was excellent and responsive. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. This hotel shows its age but was very clean and what needs to be fixed is fixed, as I had no issues in my room or in the hotel public areas (Example: the room TV was new and worked great). The breakfast was great, but the hotel was fairly full (good for their management team!) as was the dining aera, so I ended up eating my free breakfast out by my car. Suggestion: Add a long table up the middle of the room for individual guests like myself. The tables for 4 are occupied by 2 or 3 mostly family people, leaving many seats unused.

We got a suite because it had a pull out sofa bed and then we each had our own bed. NOT!! The sofa bed had an old boxspring style mattress that my dog would not be comfortable on!! It was like laying on metal springs. It was sooo bad we actually started laughing. Hotel did the job....but it does need some updating to the rooms.

A handicap room was not available, the toilet was so low to the ground in a regular room that I had difficulty getting up. I am 5’5” tall so that being an issue is concerning.

The closeness to the airport. I paid for a room that I ended up leaving and going elsewhere to rent another room. It is in the parking lot with a stip club. Booking and Comfort Inn HID THAT FACT. Staff was unreasonable that I felt unsafe with my small girls staying there. Booking said they were POWERLESS unless hotel agreed to not charge for a room I didn't stay in during high demand they could easily have re-booked. I will never forgive either company for the unprofessional, and disgusting bait and switch tactics. If they shared a parking lot with a dinner show they would advertise it...huge strip club...hidden and then act like I am unreasonable...nope. No integrity.

Staff were friendly. Breakfast options average (waffle maker, yogurt, toast, scrambled eggs). This was a last minute necessity and we didn't have other options but we will not be returning to this hotel due to room appearance.

The room was very stuffy and wet feeling my cloths was damp feeling and the A/C was not keeping the room cool. Also, the shampoo and conditioner bottles were almost empty.

Our comforter had a big rip in it, and for some strange reason they did not have blackout curtains on first floor, so with light on at night, you could see right in and we were by the pool. I spoke with guy behind desk, and offered nothing, and I left a day before checkout, but still paid. Rest of staff were nice

Mostly used this stay for a good night sleep which we did get. But there were some troubling issues at check in that caused a scare. Which is the reason for the 3stars

The AC in the room wouldn't get cold enough to sleep comfortably. I wish they had a hot tub. We saw 3 German cockroaches also. They did seem to be suffering from poison so it seems they are trying to do pest control, but they were still there.

The problem with the room was that the rug and chair were old and dirty. The biggest problem was that the toilet was very low- I can’t believe they put me a 72 year old and my 88 year old husband in this room- we were lucky to be able to get up and down from the toilet. the bedding and towels were nice.

The staff went above and beyond the norms of hotel staff. I got sick and had to the hospital. When I came staff assisted me in moving my things my car. Later today they called me to make sure I got home safely.

Family owed, next to a small commuter airport, some airplane noise, friendly staff, and had complimentary parking. We stayed in two hotels that mentioned self-parking; but didn’t mention we had to pay for overnight parking, and a free breakfast was included in our stay. Outdoor pool and laundry facilities available. Other than the hotel room had a strange odor it made up in extras.

The front desk lady was amazing, friendly and always making sure we were doing well. The beds were very comfortable and we had a suite that was great for our family.

The staff were very friendly and the continental breakfast was hot and plentiful. The hotel itself was rundown a a bit dirty. Located in high traffic area with a Dunkin’ Donuts on one side and gentleman’s club on the other. The shuttle to the port I request was canceled as the lady who checked us in misinformed us and said they only shuttle to the Clearwater airport.

Easy parking and check in staff was great! My only issue is the property looks great on the outside yet you can tell by the features this hotel is 20+years old. Beds not comfortable and breakfast was just ok. I guess growning up working at hotels í have a high standard of what hospitality is. Would try other hotels for my next visit or something similar AirBB.

Staff was very good. One elevator did not work and the other one was slow. The elevator had duck tape holding part of the floor down. The pillows in the bed were to soft.

We had airport pick up, very easy to navigate and comfortable. We were able to do early check in, the bed slept very comfortably. The options for breakfast were good, but a lot of people and it was difficult for the staff to keep up with the demands. Was tasty and convenient.

Noisy location

I stayed at Comfort Inn Sunday night, not Saturday night. The room, as well as common areas, was clean and tasteful. Breakfast offered a large selection of eggs, sausages, breads and muffins, as well as fruit and cereal. Staff was friendly and helpful. All-around a great budget stay if you are flying in or out of TAmpa.

The room was smelly maybe because the water never close totally in the shower, the room you can’t rest deeply because outside it is noise. The breakfast was not good any of the options was great, the people helping there with such a bad attitude like you are not allowed to eat there. It say the hotel is in Clearwater but it is 30 min away from the beach. Simply I will not recommend this place.

It’s a pretty average property and area but staff went above and beyond in their service. I had an issue the first night (of 5 nights) with my AC- not cooling the room, leaking water, and making loud noises all night and the staff were able to move me to an even better room for the remaining four nights. Breakfast was great too

We’ve stayed here several times and always come back. Initially it was the convenience of closeness to the airport. But soon found out that wasn’t the best part. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Free breakfast is a plus. Staff on the grounds are always welcoming and friendly. Front desk staff is excellent….especially Nancy. She is so pleasant and easy to work with. The personnel at the breakfast location are great as well. Always on top of items available and replenishing as needed. Plenty of seating for everyone and interaction with guests. When coming in to visit family, Comfort Inn & Suites is our only choice! 😊

Love the location. It's centrally located and close to many restaurants, Tampa airport(25min) & beaches(35min). The hotel served a wonderful free breakfast. It included eggs, potatoes, bacon & sausage, assorted pastries and breads, assorted cereals, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, tea. Good job! My suite was clean and had everything I needed. It does need some upgrades, like a fresh coat of paint and new carpets, otherwise nice room.

The room floor is so dirty the mattress is not comfortable the toilet is old and slow to flush. We went there for a day rest but we woke up with everyone complaining they didn’t get a good sleep because of the mattress.

I found roaches in my room and asked to move rooms. I was discreet, but the room cleanliness may have been a factor. It seemed stagnant, and not dusted at all. The bathroom wasn't horrible, but could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Would not stay here again

Let me start with the staff was kind. I had a very early flight and picked the hotel for the proximity to the airport. I guess I should have called because the shuttle doesn’t run until 7am. I asked about the ice water in the lobby for the morning and they said yes it would be available, but that wasn’t either. My room was nice—a bit outdated and not the cleanest. The hotel itself was good and the front desk staff were excellent but the staff in the food area while we were eating our breakfast was not so friendly. Our initial check in was good but our first room 231 had a dirty toilet, a broken sink in the bathroom and the phone did not work, we went to the front desk and Mr Michael was great and switched our room immediately. Our second room 232 was ok there was a crack in the shower ceiling that looked like water damage, our fridge was barely cool and our toilet was dirty as well so we just went to the store and bought toilet bowl cleaner and a toilet brush. I did not want to risk switching for a third room so we just stayed put, the beds were clean and very comfortable though.

We also chose the property because it had a “free airport shuttle”. At checkin we were told the shuttle only runs starting at 7am. Too bad, our flight departed at 7am. Property was dirty, loud, people meandering all around. Didn’t feel safe at all.

Because the rooms were smelling very bad. Initially when I got into the room, there were cockroaches and bugs moving around Later when I complained about this at the front desk, I got another room which was smelling very bad. It was almost midnight due to which I had to stay there and next day morning because of that smell, we were not able to eat the breakfast properly.

The curtain was ripped almost off the wall in my room and it smelled really bad. They had just redone the tubs but the smell was overwhelming.

The check in experience was nice. The staff member was both personable and professional. The room needs alot of updating. Paint was chipping off the ceiling and walls, the shower wall is brief and the tub area had severe hard water throughout.

The property itself needs a lot of TLC. The room looked dirty. The carpet was super dirty, I found hairs on the floor in the bathroom and in the bathtub. The lobby’s floor looked dirty. It was overall not a good experience. During breakfast, all tables were dirty and no one came to clean them. The food was not appetizing. 10 minutes before the end of breakfast they were already putting the food away. I do not recommend this property and will never return again.

The rooms smelled stuffy because the air conditioning doesn’t kick in till you’re in the room ( 78 degrees) we couldn’t sleep , I tried to get another room , they didn’t accommodate, it smelled terrible, also everything is so outdated

Hotel is OK. It looks like it has been used hard and needs some attention. Couch in the room had rips in it. Pull out bed was stained. Walls in the entry area of our rooms was dirty and needed to be cleaned. Carpet in general through out the property looks worn.

Location: although convenient, it is right next to a gentlemen's club. Condition: The elevators had missing trim and torn door coverings. The hallway carpets were heavily soiled and needed some deep steam cleaning. There were scuff marks and other unknown marks on the walls throughout the hallways and our room. The bathroom in our room was in poor condition: broken toilet tank lid, missing tub overflow cover, gross and corroded drain cover, and the light above the tub was falling out of the ceiling. The duvet covers had tearing and loose threads. The couches looked very well used, and I had to put a sheet over them to feel comfortable enough to sit on them. Cleanliness: There were no hairs in the bed or bathroom. The toilet bowl did have some spots that were missed during cleaning. The true, literal, horror show started at night. Around 11:00 PM, we found a huge roach on some fries we just finished eating. After promptly killing it, I looked around and killed 6 more. They ranged from nymphs to full adults. There were several more that I saw but couldn't kill. We promptly went downstairs and initiated a refund. Luckily we were about to book at the Hampton two blocks down.

We stayed one night prior to our flight out of town early the next day. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Desk wake up call requested and the alert came on time. No breakfast as we checked out around 4 am.

Checked in. Got to the room and found the bed linens were dirty. Room needs an overall cleaning. Got another room. The hotel needs a thorough cleaning. Elevator noisy and slow. Breakfast was not ready at 6 am. A place to stay; however, not impressed.

Our stay was ok. We stood on the 4th floor. I guess the 3rd floor is the worst to stay. A lady was complaining about roaches. My daughter saw a small one in our bathroom. Third floor has laundry room but it smelled horrible I guess due to people throwing their trash there. Seems like there are people that live there and those make the place a bit dirty. Cleaning ladies not friendly at all. Front desk were friendly. Food was ok. Overall an ok stay. We were there for 3 nights.

Nothing to much to say but the people who work they are very nice

This hotel is very low on the measure of standards. It’s in a terrible area, literally across the street from a ghetto “gentleman’s club.” 60% of the customer base I encountered smelled like weed and were very loud. There were several “families” living at the hotel. I WOULD NOT advise anyone with family or kids staying at this hotel.

After reading the reviews I thought for sure I made the wrong choice. I have 4 kids and was worried about the gentlemen's club being right next door. Our room was facing the club and there were no problems we slept like babies. The halls did have a musty smell but they were doing renovations.

The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was decent. Being across the street from the airport, the planes landing can be a little noisy. You can hear them on the 4th floor, but not loud enough that it would wake you. Next door to a "gentleman's club." Behind the hotel is an industrial area. Otherwise, it wasn't too far from decent dining. Our room was very comfortable, and clean.

I had to change my room 3 times due to a smell from repairs going on. This is something should be checked before sending customer to the room.

Maintenance needs to clean up the glue when they are done with the bathroom remodel, the glue looks like black mold.

The room I originally booked for wasn’t available upon check in. They blamed Expedia for this. So they put me in a handicap access room (fine ok) until I walked in and the room was filthy. Bathtub filled with mold, bathroom had hard water stains everywhere and it stunk in the room. So they switched me to a second room, that room the AC was broken. They then switched me to a third room where I was woke up at 7:30am by banging and drilling due to the roof being worked on (this is not disclosed anywhere upon booking and was every day by the way) mind you I had to work remote while there so I then tried to go work in their business center, what do you know?! It’s closed! The elevators had pee on the ground and the breakfast selection was very limited. I have proof of all of this I can post pictures and videos. The property didnt offer to do any type of solution after all of these inconveniences, actually was given an attitude for complaining from the property manager. Paid close to $500 and couldn’t even sleep. Horrible experience!

We had to wake up early in the morning at 7pm due to the big loud noise from a construction which was not supposed to start that early. There was no notification for that. Inside was not clean, smelly, hair conditioner container was empty. It was poor service.

Roach infested

Our room smelled horrible! Clearly a pet had urinated on the carpet or furniture. The front desk clerk was very pleasant and helpful.

I took this hotel, because in the morning I needed to go to the Aeroport (when I chose the hotel, they wrote that they would give free shuttle to the Aeroport). They did not give me a shuttle, then write Liked. Hotel is very dirty, in the room, too, the carpet is sunk, bedding is old, it is impossible to take a shower in the bathroom normally, and the worst thing is the smell in the room ... and the windows do not open. I am very sorry that it turned out to be in this place ...

Important information: airport shuttle only runs between 7am and 3pm without exception, which wasn’t stated clearly on the booking site. Check-in was a strange experience with the late night front desk staff and the general cleanliness left something to be desired. Sheets and towels were clean, but the outer bed coverings were not. Beds were comfortable! Breakfast was basic continental. Overall it was okay in a pinch. For the price, I wouldn’t choose to stay there again.

Advertised to have free shuttle, but it was down for repairs. We had to pay for Uber to get to hotel. Had we known this, we may have chosen a different hotel. Guest services personnel were very nice and accommodating. Our first room had a musty odor and he moved us to a different room. That room initially smelled better, but later noted it also had a musty odor. Bed was very firm. I prefer a softer bed. Pillows were terrible…. Very lumpy. Breakfast was decent.

Airplanes fly overhead and is loud. Im case of traveling with children, ai will also note that a strip club is next door.
