Over the years the staff and property have always been excellent. Great breakfast. Rooms are always well maintained.

Although the property is new, it is well kept, clean, staff is very helpful and love the 12pm checkout. I also appreciate the breakfast buffet even though I did not use it during my stay.

The hotel, staff, and amenities were all great! I definitely recommend!!

There was a juvenile water polo team on my floor that was loud all the time, making it difficult to rest. The fault lies with the parents/coaches but ultimately no way was it peaceful.

The room was very comfortable and clean as was the rest of the hotel. It has a very well-equipped gym with modern equipment (Precor, Peloton). The breakfast has a variety of hot and cold options. Staff was friendly as well. Would stay here again in the future.

From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. Checked in late in the evening and staff was able to give us a room in the ground floor that we needed.

The staff was courteous, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay, which made a great first impression and set the tone for a comfortable visit. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and well stocked, with a wide variety of options. I especially appreciated the hot items like eggs and make-your-own waffles, along with bagels, toast, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals, and a selection of juices, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. The room itself was very clean and well maintained. It included convenient amenities such as an in-room coffee maker, alarm clock, and a large-screen TV. The bathroom was also spotless, with a nice walk-in shower. Overall, this was a comfortable and convenient stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It was perfect for what we needed. Loved that it had a refrigerator and a microwave. Had a good amount of lighting as well (perfect to have one side one when someone is sleeping). The breakfast had multiple options to choose from and I loved the waffles and oatmeal. The location was close to where we needed to be.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and have always been happy. This time we were a little disappointed because we were supposed to get our room cleaned every other night if you stay for 3 or more nights and that never happened. We needed more towels and our trash was overflowing. I had even called the front desk asking if we were on the list to be cleaned that day and they told me yes but it never got done. That is the only bad thing that happened this time around. So we had to go downstairs to get our towels because housekeeping was gone for the night and so was the supervisor. The front desk did try to make up for it to us by giving us some water bottles and snacks which we appreciated.

Room fridge had bad smelling rotten food in left in it. The front desk hotel guy came up and put it in a ttash bag but the room smelled bad for the next 20 to 30 minutes .

Only negative thing I can say about our stay is we didn't stay many days! That was on our end but overall our stay was wonderful and location was away from busy area so that was a nice change of scenery for us. Keep up the great work!

Turns out it appears it was the A/C in our room and it kept me up a large portion of the night. And I’m a deep sleeper. I was told by staff that management would make good by giving me points or similar but was never contacted by a Manager. I still am giving a good rating overall but that’s really poor customer service for an otherwise nice place.

Room was very clean, beds were comfy, but didn’t have a blow dryer and iron leaked rust color onto clothes. Not sure if hotel was under staffed, chk in wasn’t available until 4:30/45, upon entering room, needed a dryer, phone wasn’t being answered, walked down to see about getting one, I had an event and was pressed for time…never received it, then the iron situation happened. Didn’t try complementary breakfast.

There were 3 people in the front desk when I checked in. All males. 2 of them were just playing/talking and on their phones at the same time. Only one of them was working but he did not have a welcoming vibe at all. You can see and feel that they didn’t like their job. It’s not my business what they like or not but customer service is what they signed up for. Good thing my room was nice and clean. The breakfast was great!

This past weekend I stayed at Hampton Inn for the 3rd time, for two night. I stay here a lot because it's very close to family when I am visiting with them, and I am never let down. The location is close to restaurants, coffee and donut shops, stores, shopping, and about 15 minute away from Sesame Place, which we went to this last time. The staff at Hampton are very friendly, check in is a breeze, and they keep warm coffee, and hot water/tea out 24/7. They do offer a daily breakfast, and although I've never had it, it always smells delicious and the dining area is always packed. One new feature of the hotel I liked that they didn't have during my last stay, is a texting feature. Someone from the staff will text you to welcome you or check up on your stay, and you can reply. This last time (and this will probably be my only gripe), although they don't service the room on a daily basis, which I am totally OK with, I do request fresh towels. This time I called the front desk first thing during my 2nd day to request a few fresh towels, and they gladly took my request. When I returned from our day out later, the towels had not been dropped off, so I texted the front desk and got a reply apologizing, and they said they'd have some up ASAP, and they never came. Before I left for dinner I requested the towels again, and was told towels were on their way, and I did let them know that I had left for dinner and they were more than welcome to let themselves in and leave the towels in the

We arrived at 2:15 and were told our room wouldn't be ready until 3pm the official check in time. We were waiting in the pool area for the room. After checking several times, our room was ready at 3:45. We suspect they gave our room to others because they had a big conference they were checking in. Our room key didn't work after we got back late that night (midnight) and the night shift couldn't fix it. We sat in the hallway for over an hour waiting for them to figure out the issue! When we checked in there was one staff member that was over the top dramatic and so rude. The rudest person I have encountered in public service. The shampoo and conditioner bottles in the bathroom were empty. My friend works for a major resort in San Diego and said this staff was the worst she has ever seen and the hotel itself is very poorly run.

We planned a last minute San Diego trip to the zoo for my daughter although this hotel was 25 min away it had the best reviews. Upon arriving everyone was welcoming, our room was ok we did find some hair in one of the two beds so we only used one and the restroom wall was a little dirty. There was hot breakfast in the morning it was good. Overall a great stay there was a lot of kids that weekend apparently there was some type of swim competition but it was still fairly quiet my 2 year old slept fine. The best part the entire hotel was smoke free the pool was open early in the morning until late but we didn’t use and the check out was noon which was a must for us due to my daughter. Thank you.

Unfortunately, my relative found Bobby pins on her bed which I had reported to front desk at check out.

Love that the facility is dog friendly however there are no grassy areas for dogs. A little inconvenient to go across the road and to parks. Great location and great amenities.

Staff super nice, cool fireplace. We got room away from elevators so it was uber quiet. Clearly marked smoking areas. The pool looked nice and the grounds are kept clean. What a deal for the 4th of july, breakfast included. I like that its tucked away, dont like too much traffic. Great experience.

Issue 1, When my room was cleaned on Saturday. The towels and wash cloths were taken but not replaced. Not nice when coming in late and wanting to get cleaned up. Issue #2, Whoever cleaned the room left a trail of sticky stuff on the entrance floor into the room and down the center of the bathroom, we used the hand towels to clean that up. On Sunday, no cleaners, no towels! I had to go down to the check in to get them. While down in the lobby I needed to use the rest room. The rest room wasn't cleaned; there was no paper in any of the stalls or Seat protectors. It seemed as if the crew takes weekends off ? After all this and more I would still stay at the Hamptons just not this one!

Very clean and quiet. All employees were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice with multiple choices. The room was well equipped with multiple plugs for all of our electronics. The TV was intermittent and channel choices were very small. The bed was very hard. The toliet was too low for senior citizens and there were no grab bars to help. The grab bar in shower was unattached at the bottom, otherwise the shower was well equipped.

I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn Chula Vista Eastlake. The hotel was very nice and clean. Service was friendly. Great breakfast in the morning. The room was clean. The beds were comfy. Shower was wonderful. I did encounter a problem with getting into the room when I arrived. But was resolved quickly. (Battery was dead on the entry portal). Only major disappointment I had with the stay was that I received random wake up calls at 3:30 a.m. in the morning both nights of my stay. Startled me half to death. I complained about it and they said they would fix it. It happened again the next night also. So after traveling all day and night all weekend I did not get solid sleep either night of my stay due to this "wake up" call. I was really tired and I didn't appreciate it. Other than the phone disturbance I have nothing to complain about. I really enjoyed my stay there for the weekend.

The only flaw is when I took a shower, the water did not drain very well that the water was up to my ankle while on the tub showering. I hope the management will fix this issue. I did not complain about it because we arrived late and I was tired; the staff was extra nice that he did not deserve a complaint coming from a customer.

This is the second time I stay at the Hampton Inn, and I probably will continue staying here whenever I return to the area to visit family. The property is in a very quiet area, only a short drive away to coffee shops, dining, big name stores, etc. Both times the staff has been very friendly and attentive, and as an added perk, they keep fresh coffee (and tea options) by the lobby all day long. I haven't had their breakfast, which is included, but the times I've stayed here it smells very good and the dining area is always full, so that tells me their breakfast options must be good. During my last trip here this past weekend, because housekeeping is only provided every other day, I did request some fresh towels from a housekeeper I found in the hallway, and she happily gave me a couple of fresh towels.

Safe, clean, and pleasant neighborhood with a small street mall offering various meal options.

The only thing was that they did not come to my room to clean until i complained ,then they didnt come and when they came they didnt change beds
