Pool was broke, vending machine was empty, hallways stunk. Not a good visit

I was not sure how it would be but as soon I arrived there and saw everything and how staff and front desk treated me I was very happy from the first day , I will stay there again Thank you

I like that there were places that were convenient like restaurants, grocery store, stores, shopping centers, etc. What I didn’t like most about the property is upon arriving. We had notified them that we would at least be staying 90 days at the most and we were told that was fine, but it couldn’t be no longer than 90 days except after our first month of being there, the rate went up tremendously, so my family and I decided we were going to check out that Saturday when I went down Friday to pay for the evening I brought up transit taxes being refunded, and they tried to make me check out right then in there. But there was no way that. I could check out due to. We are traveling for my husband‘s job and he was at work and I was there with my service animal and two children so they let me pay for one more night and when we went to go do our room walk-through during checkout my husband asked how our transit taxes would be refunded to us and they refuse to refund taxes, even though it’s a Virginia state law transit comes off after 30 days and state comes off after 90. We were there 31 days.And then after they refused we left and went to another hotel, which was a red roof hometown Studios upon checking in and already paying for the property on booking. Mind you I just paid for the whole week. We were notified that the property was owned by the same people at suburban studios and they wouldn’t allowing us to stay along with still waiting for my $50 deposit back that’s still not in my account they’re running unethical business practices in my opinion and I’m not the only person they are doing this or have done this too when I report it to the commissioner of revenue‘s office in Chesterfield County Virginia. and with all this nonsense and then booking me and my family were basically out of a place to stay while traveling as all of our money was tied up that we were waiting on a refund for after paying for the week…. Bad business for advertising as an extended stay.

Clean rooms and have a good size fridge and kitchenette that you can use. Overall they’re pretty good for the price

The hotel is simple, the staff is very friendly, and the room was clean.

Everything was well. The vent in the bathroom could use a cleaning, but other than that it was a good room. A/C was on point !!

I got the room just because of the pool that was advertised as open after I paid n got there , the pool was not open or in working order

Garbage everywhere. Carpet in the halls were filthy. Bathtub had hole in it. Water was lukewarm.

Easy access and secure. Close to everything but there was broken beer bottles all.over the back parking lot that really needs to be cleaned up.

The rooms were clean and the staff at desk was nice with us.

The area around the hotel was littered with trash and broken glass. My dog cut her paw on some as I tried to find a potty spot for her. There were people hanging out in the corridors which was a little intimidating at night as I was traveling alone. When I returned to my room one evening someone had stuffed a towel along the bottom of my door. No idea why. The television did not work and the WiFi was spotty. The bathroom was clean but the plug was broken so I could not use the bath. When I turned on the AC it made the whole room smell of musty dog. The walls were paper thin and there was a lot of early morning noise from outside. Checkout was at 11 but at 9am housekeeping entered my room without knocking as I was getting changed. This was the last straw for my poor puppy and we packed up and left quickly. I travel alone with my dog often but this is one of the first times I have felt unsafe inside and outside the room.

It was quiet and staff was nice. Floors had crumbs or something on them..could have been cleaner.

I wasn't even allowed to buy room and check in even though I had made a reservation they told me I couldn't be there I've never stayed there before I've never done anything wrong but I wasn't told why I was going to do not rent list so is very aggravating and frustrating the staff not polite nor informational I'm extremely disappointed Same as what I wrote above

The room was clean. Fridge was good. We didn't cook in room. Parking lot is well lit.

A few basic cooking tools, such as a pan or teapot and plates would be useful.

No in room coffee maker. Towels were blood stained.we will not stay there again. Very short staffed

I checked in Friday afternoon 4/10/26 and all was good till I woke up this morning 4/12/26 to find a 3 inch cockroach on its back in the bathroom sink .

We chose this place because there was a kitchen in it. The kitchen sink was broken and leaking over the floor but the management didn't do anything about it. The phone didn't work and the TV remote didn't work, but the management didn't care.

1The front staff could not find my reservation. It took me sending documentation of reservation and dates in order for him to locate kelly Cunningham. Frustrating

Front desk employee couldn't find my reservation in the computer. I even had my print out from Hotels.com showing the confirmation and that we had already paid for the room. He finally did find it after 5 - 10 minutes. I have never had this happen to me in any of my traveling. He never did say what the issue was. Other than that the room was nice and it was clean. The bed was hard. In a safe area with plenty of places to eat,

Location The staff wasn't accommodating towards the fact that they had power outage due to prior storm so no TV etc. Unfortunately staff attitude towards me was uncalled although he mentioned the room has a bed and shower available.

Hallways were extremely dirty, trash lying on the carpet. Sheets on the bed were stained as well as pillow cases. TV would freeze every few seconds. Water pressure in shower was extremely poor. On our last day I also saw a roach on the mirror. Would not recommend staying here.

My only issue was they let ppl book knowing they had no power. And i could not check in my rooms to almost 9pm at night. That defeated the purpose of booking a room.

It was in a good central location to restaurants, 7/11, etc. Everything was clean but the shower wall was kinda nasty at the bottom. Looked like it needs replaced.

Great place rooms exactly as pictured and no nonsense staff which is amazing for traveling business partners!!

The room is adequate. The beds are so hard you might as well sleep on cement. Laundry was out of order for the entire stay. Woman at desk was nice and easy to deal with: other staff not so much. Lots of people hanging around outside smoking, gathering, etc. location good and close to highway, but you have to make 1 million u turns to get to anything nearby like stores, food, gas.

Roach infested!! If you’re looking for a place to spend the night and get a restful sleep - do NOT come here! The amount of roaches small and medium sized that are claiming the bathroom and kitchenette is overwhelming disgusting!

I was pretty disappointed in the coffee bar selection as there is no continental breakfast i wpuld have hoped there at least was a decent coffee and creamer selection was lacking. A little disappointed in the renovations most were good but to do the floors and wall then leave the ceiling untouched with half popcorn ceiling and then patch work from what was likely some lind of previous leak was off putting. With that said for the price its a decent place to lay your head.

I say this with absolute certainty the worse hotel experience I have ever had! Where do I begin? Cockaroach infested rooms, moldy bath tubs, water damaged ceilings, air vents LAYERED in thick dust. Not to mention all of the dried substances over walls,counter tops, and the floor.

The place is pretty worn down. It was great that they allows pets, but the rooms are long in the tooth. Fortunately the crowd at the Hooters next door could not be heard. You definitely get what you pay for here.

There was no shower curtains in the bathroom. Otherwise everything else was good. I only stay one night.

The lobby was nice. It was roach infested,no elevators for my mom who is 94 and not walking strongly. There was broken glass and water in the stairway going up to the room.

The location and easy access to 95 Felt a little uncomfortable being females staying at this location alone given there’s many male construction workers. Even the staff was male. I did not see one other female in the building during my stay.

Place was safe, clean and quiet and was pet friendly! Bonus it is attached to a Hooters restaurant! Had everything I could ask for, for the price, after the return of a long vacation trip. Saved to Google maps for future trips. The beds could have been more comfortable. Other then that, top notch location.

There was no breakfast. Their ad said that there are coffee makers in the rooms, but that is not the case. They have coffee in their lobby. The bed felt like springs.

The property was well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was super clean and the custodial staff was very friendly. It is a great hotel with a super value. Thank you.

Four person room but only three sets of towels and wash rags. Corner lamp was broken. Had to prop it against the wall so it would stand up. AC unit had mold in it and smelled. A value room doesn't have to be dirty and broken.

Restaurants around the areas The sheets on the bed with cigarette burns. No shower water pressure. It took over half an hour to shower due to no water pressure! No hangers in the closet. Smelling smoke in our room and in the hallway. No Kleenex box was provided! I wouldn’t stay there again!

Not much Very unpleasant order in lobby and continued throughout the entire first floor. When we entered our hotel room we noticed the bed unmade, wet towels on the bathroom floor and an open suitcase on the counter!!! We were given a key to someone else’s room! When we did receive a room, the room was 53 degrees when we entered. The caulk on the toilet was spotty so when sitting on it, it rocked back & forth. Two dried used washclothes were thrown over the shower curtain rod. Mattress on bed was stained.

It is a room. That’s it. Bed feels like a plywood under the sheets. No drinking water, no tissue paper, orange or apple soda for breakfast. Whoever gave a five star rating most likely never stayed there overnight. The hotel deserves a 2.5 stars, tops.

The room was fine for 1 night while traveling. The bathroom was small and smelled bad. The room seemed to be in need of some general maintenance and the door had a good sized gap that you could see light through.

Terrible experience at this hotel. The room had a roach infestation with what looked like a nest in the corner. There was no elevator, which made carrying luggage upstairs a nightmare. When I asked for a refund, they refused. Definitely not worth the money—avoid this place at all costs.

The hotel is clean. The staff is friendly. The biggest issue I had was the hotel had a lot of out of town workers staying there that liked to drink and blare music in the parking lot until 10pm. I did not see any effort to stop it. The room was decent with a couple minor issues that did not deter from the stay. I still think it was a good bang for the buck. If budget is your most important consideration then this is the hotel for you.

I didn’t like that you have to buy everything for the kitchen like pots and pans. I think he said you have to buy or rent them out. I love that I was able to walk to Burlington and certain restaurants. A couple of little malls near by too.

Our room didnt have enough towels so after visiting the pool, we all had to share and reuse pool towels for shower towels. The laundry facility was also " out of order" and I purposefully didnt pack extra clothes bc I was under the influence that Id be able to wash our clothes. They have a stove top, but no pots/pans/utensils, so that was useless. But what really topped it off was that they had coffee but NO CUPS! SOOO as nice as the pool was and they granted us a late check out, we will not be revisiting.

The stay was good. I may have missed it but I didn’t see the kitchenette wasn’t stocked. It’s a good stay with plenty of restaurants near for a nice price.

The stay was good. I may have missed it but I didn’t see the kitchenette wasn’t stocked. It’s a good stay with plenty of restaurants near for a nice price.

Bed was very comfortable. Very basic room with kitchen, more designed for someone working in the area, like a contractor. Nothing fancy but was clean, close to everything and great price! I would stay there again!

Room was clean when we arrived. Room below us was smoking pot at night . 2 little cockroaches in the bathroom the next morning. Huge cockroach in the hallway. Was ready to leave

A lot of the rooms at motels/hotels/inns have this same smell, so it’s nothing new to me. But it is not welcoming. I don’t think it would be terribly hard for these places to thoroughly wash their linens and maybe install a few air fresheners or two. But again, I’m not holding it against them because sometimes it’s just the nasty guests bringing the odors with them.

Every stay I have has been a great one! The rooms are very clean and very comfortable.

It was decent but they advertised breakfast and breakfast was juice or coffee not even a continental breakfast offered. Not sure what that was about but there’s plenty of places around to eat. Just didn’t budget in breakfast due to the advertising of breakfast in the online app.

Bed seemed clean and comfortable. Nice to have fridge, microwave. Shower basic. Air conditioner kind of dirty + loud. Unhappy with extreme chemical cleanser smell at front desk. Unhappy with corridor carpet stains and urine smells. Unhappy with stains on bedspread.

First room was not even cleaned yet - dirty towels in bathroom, bathroom garbage overflowing, bed sheets used and messy. Not at all ready for a new guest, despite checking in at 4 pm. New room immediately ready. Front desk smelled like strong cleanser. Halls smelled like urine. Rugs in corridors stained. Bedspread with dirty spots.

I saw some hairs on the bed and on the sheet. I was not sure if they cleaned the bed, but That make me feel so nervous and couldn't sleep well. I was scared that the lice would get to my skin. Second, the staff was not helpful at all. I came there on a rainy day. I parked my car at the parking lot and kept going out to get my stuffs. I couldn't get all stuff at once because the rain was so heavy. The staff stood right there and watched me, but didn't help or even suggested me to pull my car near to the lobby, so I wouldn't get wet to go to my car in the parking lot. I think he has no human emotion. Also, he didn't tell me what time for breakfast. When I got there at 9:30, they already cleaned up.

We stayed one night with our kids but rooms were clean at all, floors were dirty, we even found dead bedbugs!! Floor was dirty, full of dust and previous garbage. Also there were flies in side the room.

Lacked amenities that other hotels offer. Coffee pot in room, tissues in room, continental breakfast, (misread and thought it had it). Bed too hard.

No hot water,had to change rooms to 2nd floor. No elevator. Advertised as extended stay,but no dishes in unit or any at all upon inquiry. Bathroom very small.Don't know how their reviews are so great. This hotel is terrible!!

When I explained to the clerk that someone was in there, they looked surprised. They checked a few things, made a phone call to their boss, and ultimately, let me know their hotel was full. They offered a room in another hotel, but after that experience, I was done. I do not recall any apology or real attempt to make it up to me. The hotel may have been a decent experience, but after that, I was not impressed.

No breakfast, but offered juice and coffee. Room was clean with a good bed. Basics provided, good linens, service ok. Good location with restaurants and shopping nearby. Had no problems. If you’re looking for a budget price without the budget look, this is for you.

Very flimsy materials everywhere. Bad smell throughout the property. Thin blanket, loud heating/AC unit. Kitchenette without any equipment (plates or utensils) renders it unusable. At $140 for the night it’s absolutely overpriced for what it offers.

Very basic hotel right off I95 which was convenient. My hotel room had hair on the bathroom floor…obviously it wasn’t cleaned very well from the prior guest.

I didn’t like that the tv didn’t work in the room. The attendant came up with a master remote and told me I had to come down to the desk to get batteries. The walk from the room to the front desk was not only long but also scary as people were hanging outside their rooms in the common hallway. The refrigerator in the room had a knife in the freezer area an it looked as though a soda burst in it but it was not cleaned. Very dissatisfied as I booked this room through a third party. I will not stay here ever again.

Arrived very late, 2am and was just doing an overnight as I traveled 95S. Never heard of this hotel but gave it a shot. It’s right off the highway & there’s a lot of stores in the area, like a Craker Barrel and IHOP. Wouldn’t stay again though as the shower was gross and now I’m wondering who wrote all those glowing reviews….? I guess you get what you pay for, rooms are cheap.
