The location was excellent, right off I95, easy off, easy on. The room was clean, there was plenty of room for my stuff, the tv worked and there were plenty of channels to choose from. Breakfast was wonderful! Lots of choices, food was constantly being made and offered. Coffee was delicious. The only problem I found was the vent in the bathroom pushed the shower curtain into the shower area. Overall, a great place to stay.

I stayed in Hotel room 127 and the floor had water damage, i only know that because we did a lot of home improvement on our home.

I had a great stay at this Holiday Inn location. The property was clean and well-maintained, which is always the first thing I look for. What really stood out, though, was the staff—everyone was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful from check-in to check-out. I would absolutely stay here again!

The location, the fair price and the staff. When I received the room my first question was if I have a safe in the room and the answer was yes you have a safe in the room.I was so disappointed to find out that the safe didn’t work and matter of fact all the safes in this location were out of order.and I needed again to carry all my valuables with me.

Hotel is very clean, staff was very polite, parking area was safe, and the breakfast was delicious

It was just average. The cleanliness could have been better in the corners of the bathroom. There was not a hook or towel bar close to the shower so you had to step out to get your towel. Property was more dated and it was in need of some TLC. If you ate older be aware that they have very low toilets in the rooms.

My bath towel had a hole in it, empty tissue box , really very dark, not much light and tv remote would only change channels if you stood nose to nose with the tv and held your breath!

The rooms are great and clean. The breakfast is wonderful and ladies that work breakfast are very sweet! The common areas of the hotel and the elevator could use updating/improvement. Lots of restaurants close by. A solid 4!!

Staff was helpful and friendly. My only complaint was the room was cold, no matter how high I set the temp, it blew out cold air.. I would definitely stay there again..

I was very let down at the condition of the hotel. It is very obcious that qhen remodeling this hotel that the updates were done cheaply and quickly. I will NOT return nor would i recommend to anyone. The photos posted VS the ACTUAL hotel interior was VERY misleading.

Room was very clean and looked like everything was recently updates. Breakfast was really good and had lots of options even for my vegetarian husband. They have coffee maker that makes you a fresh grind cup anytime of dah which we loved! The only thing i will say is the bathroom doesn’t have a fan but that’s minor. Overall a great experience. Would definitely stay again

Property was pretty clean, however, in my room the sink stopper thing was jammed so water filled in the sink when washing your hands, the toilet flusher was old and had to be handled with care in order to flush, and there was tissue stuffed in a hole near the ceiling. The hotel needs basic upgrades.

Not a big deal. Room was spacious, staff was great on check in and out. Only thing I really had difficulty with was the TV kept losing it's signal. The overall experience was great. This location is close enough to dining and even grocery. Thank you for the stay!

I would not recommend this hotel, definitely needs some repairs through out the property. My first room was damaged floor and wall heat did not work along with TV once moved that Tv didn’t work and my key card also wouldn’t work. Front desk was helpful. Breakfast choices okay however cold.

The handle was loose, so halfway through a shower, the handle dropped by itself to a lower position and the shower started raining scalding hot water. There were rust spots and swollen wood areas on the walls and door. Inexcusable to neglect such an important area of the room.

For the first time ever I went to check in and they did not have my reservation. I showed him my phone which showed my reservation and they honored the price luckily for me they had a room.

The telephone nor the TV in the room functioned properly. The counter hardly ever had anyone sitting at it and you had to call out to get someone to come and assist.

It was good. The refrigerator didn’t have a freezer and one leg was missing. Every time I opened the door, it would tip down on the door.

Staff was friendly and the check in was easy. The room wasn't so appeasing. Broken lights coming off the wall,the door handle to the bathroom was also damaged and dangling.the room needs to be maintained and cleaned a little better. Looks very run down.

Room was infested with Chinese Beetles/ Ladybugs (I removed myself but showed night clerk first), Light Bulb missing, Room # missing, Fire sprinkler on wall in room #327 very rusty, soap dish broken. Just overall not well cared for. Management took room out of service when we complained on checkout. Unexpired carton of milk was clabbered/spoiled! No discount offered since we booked with Expedia.

Hotel is clean, beds are comfortable and the area is quiet and safe. The breakfast includes egg white omelette, sausage, pastries, fruits, oatmeal and yogurt.

Did a quick overnight stay on my way to somewhere else. The check in staff was very friendly, and the room was nice enough, though some of the hotel features are a bit outdated. The free breakfast had a wide variety of options including cinnamon buns and fresh pancakes which makes for a great start to the day. My only complaint is that this hotel needs a dehumidifier. The humidity was so high that the carpeting is perpetually damp and it even made my phone charging port so damp that I couldn't use it for hours until it dried out. If i had been staying more than one night this would have been a significant issue.

This looks like a renovated property, I think Holiday Inn took over an existing property that may be going thru renovations but it appears to be kinda old. Nice big room and if you still like refrigerators and microwaves in rooms and good continental breakfasts, this is a decent place.

The stay was okay. Didn’t like the lack of towel bars in the bathroom. Only one and not near the shower. Hot and cold was in reverse on the spigot after 5- minutes of running cold water. I could go on and on, but it’s Holiday Inn. Just what you’d expect.

Hotel was fine, but one elevator! For the entire building! Not a great design. Also, ice machines were only on the first and third floor. I was on the fourth of course. Bed very comfy. Toilet sits a little low. Other than that I would stay again.

Next time on our way to Florida, we'll try one of the other chains to see which is better; there were plenty to choose from.

Loud music being played until 1:00am. Bathroom floor wasn’t clean.

Property was not ready

Very disappointed in the room conditions. I arrived and was told no other rooms were available. When I went to my room, the linens were disheveled and there were hairs, stains, and rips in the bedding. The walls had cracks, and the pillows looked like someone had slept just a few moments before I arrived. I could not stay and checked out immediately to find other accommodations. I would not recommend this hotel.

The property was nice, the staff was nice, my only issue were the ants, there were ants everywhere, they need a goo exterminator, I was on the second floor so if they where on the 2nd floor they where probably everywhere else, other than that my stay was cool

Our room seemed like it wasn’t cleaned. Found food on the ground, and the room smelled musty like someone with strong cologne had just stayed there. When we woke up the next day my daughter and I had broken out in a rash. I don’t believe the sheets were washed. I don’t know what was going on outside but loud music played well past midnight. So loud I could hear it over the tv in our room.

The property had been updated in recent years, but it lacked TLC. The first room I was assigned hadn't been cleaned. The next room smelled very musty, but I had brought room spray with me. Other maybe minor items for some traverlers were that a towel was dirty, the vents filled with dust, the shower fixture was rusty and needed that pink residue cleaned, tub floor had sticky's that were black-ish, there was a water bug/roach looking insect in the bathroom, and other minor upkeep issues (like peeling wall paper). Breakfast quality was also not as expected. So just okay, and it made me wonder where else they were cutting corners.

Room didn’t have a refrigerator, bugs in the bathroom, towels were grey and dirty.

Holiday inn express in chester Va is very outstanding the stay was comfortable and outstanding.
