    The room was filthy! The pictures online do not match what we experienced. The toilet paper roll holder was broken, the seating in the room was stained, the shower was disgusting. We didn’t want to shower or brush our teeth. Our door to our room was broken. It was overall not a great experience.

    Bushes and trees are overgrown into the parking spots. Tree growing against the building at the front door. Piece of plywood covering a hole in the wall in the room. Unpainted and held on with drywall screws. Chipped paint around the room. Desk lamp hanging by exposed wires. Bed mattress was hard and uncomfortable. Woke up so many times in the night. Gross looking blue tape on the cabinets in the breakfast area. Area was clean of crumbs but gave a dingy feel. No trash can in food area for waffle maker cups. Food was just ok. Would not stay here again for that price.

    Very poor decorative condition. Rundown impression. Sofa uncomfortable. Business Center was closed and was one of the reasons we chose to stay there. In the circumstances, the staff did some photocopying of emails for me, but I had really counted on using the computer, so not having that access was a huge disadvantage. In truth, I believe we should receive some compensation.

    Hotel met all our needs, However building is in need of a refurbishment. Our toilet paper holder was gone, had to reach backwards to reach it. Plaster was cracked around shower. Breakfast was ok, not a fan of egg white omelette.

    What we went in the staff told us that the coffee machines wasn't working right in the lobby. We go to the room TV didn't work right. I called downstairs told him they said we could come down to where the breakfast would be and could watch the news that I wanted to say. When I tried to call him from the room phone did not work. No phone number posted for the front desk. I looked in my reservation finally found a phone number and call them. We were going to relax in the room and watch the news and get caught up on the day. We ended up leaving the room I'm going to a restaurant and accomplish what we wanted to we've stayed there a couple of times before they have a sign on the swimming area they're trying to get it fixed quickly over. Or 4 months there's been no change. I like the Hilton I will never go there again

    The room was huge and clean. The staff was excellent, and super-friendly. The breakfast was standard hotel fare (waffles, eggs, sausages, etc) but was well made and carefully prepared. The room was 95% clean, but they did miss a dirty coffee filter in the coffee machine. The microwave was also missing the glass turntable plate. Other than the coffee machine and microwave, the room was excellent. The friendly staff made up for the two minor shortcomings of the room, and I would 100% stay there again if needed.

    The location in Chesapeake was perfect for our plans. The room was very big and the staff was very friendly and helpful, exhibiting all the southern charm you could want. We enjoyed the variety of the foods available for breakfast. The pool was out of order and the ice machine on our floor was broken. In our room, the flooring in the bathroom was uneven, there were things attached to the bathroom wall that served no purpose, the bathtub faucet wasn't tight against the wall and the deadbolt wouldn't secure the door. Also, the thermostat on the AC unit didn't accurately reflect the room temperature-we were able to find a comfortable temp, but it wasn't where we set the thermostat. The landscaping plants are large and vibrant but so large they covered parts of the side walk. The metal bench at the front door was rusty. Perhaps our next trip to Chesapeake this hotel will be great.

    The breakfast was timely served. The coffee bar was always stocked. The staff was friendly. Limited healthy food choices.Dining furniture was so worn and raggedy it felt like a used thrift store. Rooms were musty and damp.We switched twice. My sister's king had no light in the bath. My double queen air condition unit was detached from the wall, with an opening large enough to put your hands through. Mildew throughout the baths and shower. Windows dirty and paint chipped throughout the facility. The elevator had sounds that I would call for service. It's bad.

    In regards to the bathroom, the shower floor is very very slippery. I fell hard on this shower and had to put the floor towel inside the shower to be able to use it. I am okay but someone else might not be as lucky. This has to be addressed.

    I am sad to write a review because my partner and I really aren’t that hard to please when it comes to staying at hotels or Airbnb’s but I needed to share our disappointment. As soon as we walked in to the room, it smelled like sewer, but we just assumed someone recently used the restroom.. but it smelled like that throughout our stay, not sure where it came from but it wasn’t pleasant. The shower has barely any storage so we had to put all of our essentials on the ground, just found that weird. The door to our room didn’t shut all of the way so you could still see the hallway even when the door closed, I have never seen that ever staying at a hotel and that doesn’t seem safe. We asked for more towels and were told that they didn’t have any clean and would have to send housekeeping up with our towels, we waited an hour and never received them. We also asked for a wash cloth on the morning we were checking out and house keeping said they didn’t have any clean and again, will need to wait for them to dry but never received it. The breakfast was really good and the woman who was assisting in there was so sweet and kinda! The lady that checked us in was nice but the one who checked us out was on her phone and we found that unprofessional. Overall, I don’t recommend this location.

    There were two rolling square boxes. Placed at the end of bed. Dark room they had the bed placed differently than any hotel I have ever been in so with that being said I feel on the floor over the squares and I had spinal surgery a few months prior. Went down stairs mentioned it to the desk lady. The only response was laughter then are you ok…. Showed my knee where I hit the floor and was told you must not of broken bones and she returned to laughing.

    This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in for a long time. Although the front desk staff was always kind, pleasant and friendly, the condition of the hotel was incredibly run down for a Hilton brand. This included multiple holes in walls, corroded fixtures, railings in the elevator broke off, inoperable pool.

    People were noisy, in hall and in rooms. Light switches were wonky, hard yo reach or get to work, one light so dim it was worthless, better after they replaced the bulb. Mictowave was dangerous, burnt the paper cup. Otherwise very nice, comfortable. Staff were great.

    Not pet friendly, we were checked in, signed the pet policy we were then told pets could not be in the hotel room without us in there for any length of time. It was told that if it happens, they will call animal control to take the animals away. Not pet friendly.

    Air worked, very noisy, old, parts on the bottom were hanging down. Room had a funny smell when I first got there. Just didn’t have a comfy or safe feel. Rooms were big but decor was small and old looking. The staff was Excellent, especially the front desk!

    There is nothing that I liked about the property. The room we were in was dirty. There was no iron board we asked for one. They never bought it to us until the day we were leaving. The phone cord was out couldn’t call the front desk the tub in the shower of his disgusting and the tallest seat didn’t fit the toilet.

    My stay here wasn’t the best ! I was here on business and the room was not as tidy as I’d like it to be . I took pictures of every piece of hair I found in the showers and towels . The hot water didn’t work in our room and we informed the young lady at the desk about it but she seemed to not have a solution to that problem. The following morning on my first stay the cleaners came through knocking on all the doors who may have checked out and slammed the doors constantly while I was trying to sleep. It was to the point that I had to just get up and leave for the remainder of the morning so I wouldn’t hear the slamming of the doors throughout the hall. Also the elevator on the second floor doesn’t have a proper working down button so I had to take the stairs my entire trip !!! All in all I would never stay here again

    It was an ok stay. Room services can be better. IT states that they do room service every other day, but they never came to give us new towels/washcloths or take the trash out. Lack of pillows, and the bed is unforgivingly hard. But the Staff was friendly and it was convenient near shopping centers and the highway.

    Property is certainly showing signs of decline. No down button at 2nd floor elevator doors. Gym door broken. Only one treadmill and it was broken. Room door really needs a paint job. Not greeted at check in. Only spoke after I started talking to him. I’m glad I was pleasant because it seems like he was waiting to see my energy first. Not what I’m used to from Hilton properties.

    Things that we didn't like....the bathroom had a hole in the ceiling, the toilet was uneven and the seat not straight, the shower was not appealing to look at (gross!)-water damage near the shower door, mold and mildew stains in the grout, the shower gel was not mounted, the lotion dispenser was in a strange place and empty, no stopper in the sink, the bed was in an awkward place as was the corner nightstand, the lamps were dusty and the finish was old, the elevator button was missing-just a hole. We stayed in Room 208.

    A guy named Terry Fleming checked us in was rude, the room was very muggy. Couldn’t walk on the floor without shoes because of a dirty floor. Exposed wires under AC unit, mold in the shower and all over the drywall and the smoke detector was covered with a tissue. When I received a text from Terry Fleming asking how my stay was so far I explained the issue described above. He sent another text asking when was a good time to call, I said anytime. No phone call and no more communication from him. I wish I would have read more of the reviews because several people have the similar complaints. Shame on Hilton for allowing that hotel to represent the Hilton name. We will never stay there again!

    This property needs a lot of help. The pool was undergoing maintenance, so it was closed. The stove was broken so there were limited breakfast options. Our shower had mold and mildew stains, and there were broken fixtures in our room. The toilet ran all the time. There was a desk but no desk chair. On our floor, the down elevator button was missing but we were able to navigate around that problem. The bed was ok and the staff tried to be helpful, but we will not be staying here again.

    The pool was under construction, the fitness room was 85 degrees, and had a cockroach in it when i was there, the fire alarms went off but only on the 5th floor all from a small kitchen fire. The last morning i stayed they did not offer any hot breakfast. Also the shower did not get very hot.

    The 1st room we were put into on the 5th floor the carpets were soaked and it smelled a bit moldy. They moved us to a new room on the 3rd floor and it was just fine. No smells. No wet floor, just a clean and well appointed room. The pool was closed for maintenance and the ice maker on our floor was broken but it was alright.

    My room smelled horrible of mildew . The carpet had mold on it. I have chronic allergies and had a terrible reaction to the mold spores. I was stopped up all night , could not breathe or sleep well at all . Went downstairs to purchase allergy meds ( advertised at front desk) but was told they had none . Suggested I go across the street to 7/11 at 11 pm . I am very disappointed and will not be returning! Only thing good is the breakfast period

    The hotel is very run down and not a typical Hampton. The air conditioner in our room was broke. The workout room air conditioner was also broke so it’s always 80 degrees!

    The tv was broken. The pool was cloudy and the paperwork said the chemicals in the pool hadnt been checked in 7 days, which isnt legal. The door to the chemical room was unlocked which is also not legal. The beds and pillows were horribly uncomfortable. The room was shabby with some mold spots in the bath. There was no vent in the bathroom so it was hot and clammy. Overall, it was a disappointment

    The beds are hard as bricks and they did not refill my shower gel. Luckily I bring my own soap. The A/C was super loud and although non smoking, the room smelled like smoke

    Roaches in room and bathroom. Bad smells throughout. Dirty carpet. Dust and trash. Tried to push through, but checked out immediately. Very disappointed for a Hampton Inn. Expecting a refund.

    The location and price point were nice, however it smelled of cigarette/weed smoke pretty much our entire stay. The room was dirty with a broken lamp. The bathroom appeared to have not been cleaned in quite some time. I don't ever expect much from a hotel breakfast but this one was undesirable and we ended up going out for breakfast the following morning.
