Clean room, great restaurant for breakfast.

The only thing that needs fixing, is the sink in the bathroom. It doesn’t drain that quickly, and it’s not a lot of force when you flush the toilet, you have to hold it down.

The pool area was really nice and clean. The dining area was also lovely me and my son felt like we were eating at a fancy restaurant I didn't like how the tiles in the floor looked it looked like it suffered from water damage or maybe that was just my view of it but I don't like that

I never sleep well in hotels. But last night I slept like a baby! The bed and pillows were perfect for me. My friends who stayed in a different room said the same thing. We’ll be back next year

The worst stay of my life. The first room had blood on the curtains and the second room almost made me vomit. While showering, I bend to wash my feet and there is freaking blue drug baggie on my foot! It had to have been inside of the shower curtain and the water exposed it, not sure but long story short, my husband and I left the hotel close to midnight. I have yet to hear from management regarding this.

Everything was nice. The staff was amazingly pleasant, helpful and patient. Facility was clean not just looked clean but smell clean as well. The bar was a vibe. Bartenders were awesome. I just expected more from this property especially for the price. It does not meet the expectations based off the website. Our bathtub was stopped up. It smelled like roach spray in the room. Our towels/bath rags were not replaced.

Refrigerator was frozen over. Not cold at all. And I needed it. Old Doritos were on the floor

Room was great, I wish there was brighter lighting though. Comfortable beds. Only complaint would be the walls are thin so you hear everything from other rooms and in the hallway.

Room and hotel were clean but this hotel has paper thin walls and there were constant disturbances. The conference room at this hotel had been rented for the night but the party was all over the hotel. The staff tried to contain the noise but it was too much for them. Very noisy hotel. Only book if you can sleep through noise.

Please find a way to put a door over the area where the ice machines are located. I stayed in room 218 and anytime someone got ice, it sounded like something heavy being dragged across the floor. Midnight to 230am was a popular time to get ice.

ALL WAS GREAT IF IN THE AREA AGAIN WILL STAY THERE.

Great staff! The property is safe and comfortable. Showing some age here and there. Better, more plentiful selection of TV channels needed. Not much nearby that is walkable other than Wawa.

I arrived just after check in time and I had my choice of parking spots. The front desk staff member on Thursday, 04/09/26 made check in super easy. My room was easy to find. My room was crystal clean and the layout perfect for my stay. The staff in the bar/restaurant were both attentive and friendly. Restaurant manager was engaging which was impressive. The king size bed provided a very comfortable sleep. Breakfast was good. The restaurant is placed perfectly on the property. I want to give five stars to the woman who waited on me during breakfast. The restaurant filled quickly and she was calmly and attentive to all. Check out was easy. I will definitely consider Delta Hotels for future stays in Chesapeake and other destinations.,

Extremely outdated. I felt like I was bamboozled with the pictures. Rust stains all over bathroom floor. Curtains notable dirt on them. The staff members were great. All friendly. However I Wouldn’t stay again.

The room was very dated and not in good shape! They said there would be a continental breakfast, which is the reason I picked this place and there was no such thing. In fact when I went down for breakfast, I sat at a table to be served and nobody showed up or even in the area for 10 minutes so I left. The gym had plenty of treadmills, but the weight station look like it was one of the first ones ever made and was missing parts. Very large hotel and looks like at one point. It was a great place but seems understaffed and under loved.

It was very clean. The pool area was clean. The Staff was very nice. The elevator kept breaking down. They didn’t have a microwave in the room. They didn’t have a full length mirror.

The room was nice, we had a room that overlooked the HVAC system which was fine for a 1 night stay. I thoroughly enjoyed Anthony at the front desk, he is kind and very helpful. There was a lot of noise, I assumed it was because we were near the ice machine, great tv options and connecting to the internet was easy.

The bedding was covered in either feces or chocolate - a lot. There was a used vape pen under the chair, the desk chair back was shredded. All the furniture looked so old and worn. The breakfast waffle wasnt even cooked, it was still raw and white. The chairs were covered in hair and food.

The workers were friendly and helpful. Front Door of our room 704 had a large space and we felt cold air coming into the room.

We have stayed at this hotel for the last couple of times that we have been in the area and have no complaints. The hotel and rooms need renovations specially the furniture and carpets but it is clean. Staff has been helpful and courteous. We will be back.

I was not offered free breakfast. I purchase breakfast and would have liked to have two. Slices of toast and not one cut in half for the price that I was charged. Love this hotel. It’s safe clean quiet and the staff is very nice and efficient.

However, the wait staff in the lounge was lacking knowledge of what the kitchen had to offer and was not familiar with their menu, which was interesting because we stayed at the Delta Marriott Chesapeake VA before a couple of months ago, and the menu was the same as was the same staff we experienced during our last stay there!

I’m not even sure if he understood English but either way we went out for dinner and got back after 11 still no towels. Then went to bed and did not sleep because the toilet ran all night. I ask hotel for a refund but they were unable because it was third party booked with Expedia.

The initial room key I was given wouldn’t open my room door. I was then switched to a different room, near the service elevator. Throughout my stay I was awaken by loud noise from the service elevator. Not a peaceful, quiet stay at all.

The room was ok. There was no TV remote. Called to front desk but it did not arrive after 20 minutes. Had to go down to get the remote myself. The facebowl drained slow. The fitted sheet kept popping lose and interrupting my sleep. It was too small.

Shower in 616 backed up both days of use and smelled like sewage. Staff member engineer on Saturday night confirmed rotten smell once he had broken us into our room after 2 attempts by him, 2 different housekeepers all tried with their masters keys and the 3 different sets made for us that we were accused of “messing “with.

It took nesrly 45 minutes to get our food after ordering and it was not particularly busy. Not the wait staffs fault, they were very attentive. They likely were understaffed in the kitchen. We had a KingSize bed and checked in around 2:30 on a Friday and dropped our bags in the room and went out for the rest of the day. Got back around 10pm getting ready for bed only to find that house keeping staff had put a twin fitted sheet on the bed and then covered it up. Went to front desk asked house keeping to bring a correct sized sheet. 39 min later no staff. They then had the gall to ask me what time I had checked in. Why would that matter. Asked and received a new room around 11:30pm. In addition bathroom ceiling covered up a hole with drywall panel as a cover. Panel was falling down.

We had a KingSize bed and checked in around 2:30 on a Friday and dropped our bags in the room and went out for the rest of the day. Got back around 10pm getting ready for bed only to find that house keeping staff had put a twin fitted sheet on the bed and then covered it up. Went to front desk asked house keeping to bring a correct sized sheet. 39 min later no staff. They then had the gall to ask me what time I had checked in. Why would that matter. Asked and received a new room around 11:30pm. In addition bathroom ceiling covered up a hole with drywall panel as a cover. Panel was falling down.

We'd stopped staying at the Delta as it seemed there was a decline, we decided to give them another shot and i'm glad we did. The room was exceptionally clean and we truly appreciated that. We will be back as we visit the area frequently.

The bartender, Rhianna, was exceptional, and the three front desk employees were equally wonderful. There was one staff member in particular whose name I didn't catch, but every time he saw us, he had a kind word that made a real difference in our stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would not hesitate to return in the future.

Overall hotel was great, from staff to the amenities.... However, our beds on the 6th floor were horrible... The mattresses had a dip right on the center.

The manager Courtney was a gem and the young lady that checked me in was great. Night front desk oerson was not so great. Other issue was with the TV not working properly. Would choose againg but will check out the room better as to not have the issues i did.

The room and the hotel was clean and nice. However, a situation occurred and I had to check out a day early. I booked the room through Expedia and neither Expedia nor the hotel would give me a refund for the night that I did not stay. Poor customer service from both parties.

It’s an ok stay for maybe two days tops! Older building. I was switched to another room due to a sanitary concern, food is ok. Enjoyed the coffee concession in the morning. Breakfast/dinner isn’t included and provided with a surcharge. Room service is offered with a surcharge as well.

I always have an amazing time when i stay here. Its clean and the staff is also great. Jaquan assited me during my stay. He's a great young man. Very respectful, and manorable.

The stay was not bad but the lobby area and front entrance smell like liquor and marijuana from bike group that was staying at the hotel

Room was not vacuumed. We were told that customers must request that the room be vacuumed. It’s no wonder the carpet looks dirty. Bathroom area was also left undone. Tub was not cleaned out, counter area not wiped down and floor not cleaned. Someone on the night shift was asked to clean our room right before our bed time

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere in the lobby is very welcoming. They have a coffee shop, bar, and sit down dining for meals. The room itself was clean and the beds & pillows were super comfortable. The thermostat adjusted quickly to whatever temp I set it to. The showers were nice and the water pressure is good. They have complimentary BIG bottles of shampoo conditioner and body wash mounted to the walls. Would definitely use them again or recommend to anyone traveling to Norfolk.

Requested facecloths for next day but was told none were available. The metal supports for the bedframe was showing. This made the bed look like something from a low end motel. I was double charged for the room but was told my debit card was declined. The chicken dinner was dry and tasteless.

The toilet did not flush.The t.v cable was not working.

The hotel was spacious and staff kind and thoughtful. My room was comfortable and clean, but there were several maintenance issues in my sister's room, such as a running toilet, noisy refrigerator, and other minor issues. Whatever was used to clean her bathtub made it impossibly slippery. Food was good, but the dining room a bit understaffed at breakfast. Overall a good stay, great staff, perhaps some attention needed to the rooms.

Check in staff was very nice. The room was needs a deep cleaning, but not bad. My linen was clean, room was touched up, but didn't seem to be dusted or vacuumed.

Front desk staff rude(the girl that checked us in). She remained rude for entire visit. Acts like she doesn't want to do her job and be helpful.

Good except we were tired & just wanted to chill out- but the ear-bleeding fire alarms went off 20 minutes after we got settled in.. had to leave for an hour… then, fire alarms went off again.. had to leave again.. they blamed it on the humidity.. other than that it was a decent hotel

Overall I thought this was a pretty decent place to stay. The first room that we had was handicap accessible and it just had a shower. When I turn the water on it took about 5 minutes to get hot. Then the water was not draining. I went to get services and they moved me to another handicap accessible room which I asked them not to do but the room was okay. The only issues I had was that the faucet in the tub should be replaced. It is very loose. I also think that Guest Services should make the guest aware of how to log into the internet. I had to call the front desk to ask about that. I also called the front desk to ask for a regular size ironing board and the young lady said she would send someone up with an ironing board if they had one but if they did not she would call me back. I never got a call back. Also on the 5th floor there is an air vent in the hallway that blows out cold air so strong that you can feel it coming underneath the door into the room. I saw several rooms that actually had towels stuffed at the bottom of the door to keep the air out. That should probably be adjusted. So there is some room for improvement but overall it was a decent place to stay. I would stay there again but it probably will not be my first choice.

Clean hotel overall

Only decaffeinated was provided in the room. On requesting from the front desk, the lady was rude. The phone didnot work. It took at least 20 tries to get to front desk. Pet charges were not disclosed upfront. The vents were filthy! I have stayed at Marriotts before and love the chain. Really hope that Marriott reconsiders how to run this property and train staff to be polite to customers.

The room was comfortable and quiet. A bar of soap on the sink would have been nice but we used the body soap in the shower instead. We would definitely return there again should we travel that way. :)

Bathroom very clean . However the water temperature for shower was either scalding or very cold. Was extremely hard getting water temperature in a normal range. Pillows for bed were not very comfortable. Room started out quiet but around 2am was awakened to a neighboring room with music blasting. After about 20 minutes had to call guest services who came and finally awakened the guest who turned it down some.

This was a very nice hotel. The staff was great and worked with us to get us a late check out due to a family issue that we were in town for.

Very nice place ! We travel every year and have stayed many places around here nearby . This will be our favorite and plan to come back to Delta

All was good except 2 things…there was no hot water for the shower in the morning and too late to call to have it fixed and 2nd, when I went down to the lobby for breakfast, the waitress seemed to be more concerned about her phone than to welcome me and take my order…after 10 mins of waiting she finally brought me a menu and then walked away not even asking for a drink order…I left without having breakfast.

The room seems outdated- we had stains on the sheets and pillows; the shower curtain had mildew and the shower rod was loose (safety). The other thing I noticed is the cap from the door to the floor is wide and you clearly hear people walking by or talking, I'm pretty sure anyone can hear us in the room talking. The restaurant food was very delicious, but bit over-priced for the portion. I ordered the lightly battered pork-chop, mashed potatoes with chefs veggie ( asparagus). I was bit disappointed with the size of the asparagus, very tiny. Excellent customer service from all staff members. This hotel was very convenient to where we wanted to go.

We were put in a handicap accessible room and I am 6’ 4” so the shower head was shoulder height! We were told there were no other rooms available! Also we were lead to believe we would receive breakfast at no charge.We will not return

This was a very nice hotel. Great area close to other businesses. The front desk and restaurant staff was pleasant. I did use the fitness center which had good equipment for a decent workout. The restaurant area was cool, food was delicious and the server was very nice. My only issues were that I paid for a king bed and got 2 queen beds instead. They didn't even advise me of any room change at the front desk, so I called from my room and was told there were no kings available. I didn't make a huge deal about it BUT at the same time, I'd like to get what I pay for. Also, there was no microwave in the room do I had to eat cold leftovers. Other than those things, I would definitely stay here again.

Facilities were good. The bar was great, as most are usually not. The room clearly has a water leak in the stack behind the tub, you may want to look into that.

Only stayed one night but really enjoyed it. Great Staff!
