The property was clean. Not exceptional. Staff helpful. Breakfast not the greatest. The stay was nice but for the price they need to upgrade. Carpet definitely needs to be changed.

Friendly staff. All areas of hotel looked clean. Nice rooms.

We also really enjoyed having access to the pool and were able to get a nice swim in together, which made the trip even more fun and relaxing. The only downside was that the ice machine near the front desk wasn’t working during our visit, which was a bit inconvenient. However, aside from that minor issue, everything else met expectations. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay for us, and I would consider staying here again.

We have stayed there before in a previous year and received excellent customer service. This time it was not so good. The two young adult Front Desk staff were ill trained and became rude and condescending when they gave my husband's driver's license to another hotel guest. My husband went to check in, but because I made the reservation, he had to come outside briefly to get me from the loading zone. He had given his Driver's license to the front desk clerk and asked me to get it back. There was another customer in line when I went in. I waited in the same line my husband had been in as the receptionist checked in the guest who was paying for two sets of rooms( 4). As soon as I approached the front desk clerk to check in, I first asked for my husband's driver's license back. She stated that she did not have it but had given it back to him. I asked her to check around the counter area and she again stated she gave it back to him. My husband came in again and we checked his clothing, around the car and he knew he gave it to her. We went ahead and checked in asked the front desk clerk if she would check with the other guests to see if she accidentally gave his license to them. She stated she "called" them and they did not have it. The other clerk alluded that maybe my husband "really forgot" his driver's license. As we were leaving for his graduation, I saw the guest who had been in front of me and asked her if she would check her things. She had his driver's license!!

I can’t wait to come back! The staff was amazing and the room was BEAUTIFUL. I was so sad to go.

Breakfast was good, could of been a little more warmer. Counters were very clean and staff kept restocking to make sure there was enough food. Overall I was very please. Definitely recommend staying here. The designated somoking area is right by the main entrance. Would appreciate if it was moved to another area.

Room on second floor was clean and quiet (hoorah!) Staff was friendly and helpful especially during check in. Breakfast was hot and constantly kept neat and restocked. The nook itself was a little tight during the rush hour breakfast times, but it had highchair and booster seats available which we needed. It could only have been improved upon if the space could have been accessible after breakfast hours to use for card games or to grab a piece of fruit.

The computer system was down with the Internet nor the phones working so we had to stand and wait for over an hour before we could even attempt to check in. There was a long line of people waiting, who had been there before us or before we arrived. But the facility is wonderful and the young lady at the front desk was phenomenal. I would definitely recommend this place.

Overall we were well pleased. While the hotel was clean (think 4 out of 5, a little more attention to detail could make it stand out. The same with maintenance, a little WD-40 on our room door would have eliminated the loud squeaking. That the breakfast on Sunday did not include biscuits and gravy.

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise! Our room was super comfortable and cozy (loved all the indirect lighting). The shower was incredible! Staff was friendly, and the breakfast offerings were generous and tasty. The location just off 64 in the Greenbrier area was great - plenty of food options and easy access to other parts of the Hampton Roads area.

Pool was closed too cold for it during my trip. Breakfast was good. Rooms were clean and upgraded. Staff were kind and helpful.

It was hard to discover this hotel option searching the Norfolk / Chesapeake area. Booking .com rated it high and Asphalt Lots recommended it for cruise parking. I am pleased to have found it and will happily use it again.

The room, as well as the rest of the building that I saw, was clean & well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, not too hard or soft. The desk personnel were always polite & helpful. There were plenty of parking spaces available close to the building. The breakfast was very nice with lots of well stocked choices. The room seemed to be a little "dark" to me since all of the lighting was "focused" on a specific area of the room. The only ceiling light was just inside the door so I had to turn on almost all of the other lights in order to be able to see around the room. Also, I had to constantly fiddle with the HVAC to keep the temperature at a comfortable level. It seemed like it was always just a bit too warm or a little too cool.

The whole hotel was clean and both the pm & am staff was warm and welcoming. I had a great time with my daughter and will be booking again! Wonderful job!

Only problem is the Wifi kept going out. I don't know if it was a way to fix it or not but as we watched a nice movie is continued to go in and out which was a inconvenience other than that it was great.

9/10 for sure! Only done fall was, my door was open when I came back to my room ( as if house keeping came & didn’t close it all the way). Not blaming anyone in particularly, but the door was not easy to close & lock. But overall i definitely recommend, very clean place as well!

They charged me an extra 100.00 for incidentals they I wasn't prepared for. I wish I had of known ahead of time as I needed my 100.00 during the trip. Not held up for days. Just let people know ahead of time

Stayed one night. Great property for the value. Clean and spacious room with updated furniture. Friendly staff. Only thing was shower had hair still from previous occupants. Didn’t want to use the shower after seeing that, but other than that, room was great.

My husband was in the ER the night before our reservation. I called to cancel - from the ER - 2 min after 4:00 (I thought the cutoff was 6 pm...which it was for the previous reservation), and was unable to receive the free cancellation. So, in addition to the trauma of the medical emergency, I had to pay the full fee of the hotel. Very disappointing.

This facility is well designed and maintained. The staff are service oriented. My only complaint would be that I could not connect to their WiFi. The same thing happened a month ago when we stayed. I think it has to do with the email assigned by Hotels.com because their system would not accept mine.

The staff showed warm attention from the moment I arrived. The room felt clean with modern touches that created a calm space. The breakfast came with fresh options for my whole family! The location offered quick access to shops and restaurants. The stay delivered steady comfort and good value.

I very seldom give a 5-star rating, because I want to save them for exceptional reviews. This is one! I'm a budget conscious business traveler, with 2 - 3 stays a month. The quality of the properties I chose often vary wildly. This Comfort Inn was comfortable, clean & quiet. The room was modern and nicely appointed and the staff was friendly. I will definitely stay again and may seek other Comfort Inn properties, when traveling.

Gave up my room without informing me and use my credit card without my authorization which I days before we agreed that I can pay onsite. They gave up my room which cause to almost not have a place to stay which luckily i was able to find somewhere else. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

The only reason I’m giving this a 4 and not a 5 is because the bathroom floor had hair on it. But besides that the room, towels and sheets were spotless. It was spacious and the receptionist super friendly allowing for early check in with out additional fees like some of the other hotels were requesting.

Very nice motel. Really good price. I’d stay there again. My only complaint was trying to use their Wi-Fi. After entering P/W etc it dumped me into their rewards program. I wouldn’t have minded but no matter how if filled in the blanks it rejected my info.

Check in was at 3:pm arrived at 2:20 was told room was not ready till 3:00 but I could wait in lobby. At 3:00 line formed with check ins and I waited till 3:20 and again told my room was not ready - Room finally available at 4:00. I had an event at 5:30 and was being picked up at 4:45 s this not give me time that I had planned to dress for this event after traveling - Breakfast looked so unappetizing that I went for a bagel that was so hard I gave up and went to Crackle Barrel. Will not return to this hotel nor will I recommend it.

The room was clean, modern and well designed. The front end desk clerk, Judy was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the local eateries and local food stores in the area. She recommended a bbq place for dinner, Smokey Joes, and that was just what we were looking for. The breakfast was more than the typical continental breakfast that you usually get. The attendants that work the breakfast were accommodating and always restocking the the eggs & bacon to keep everything fresh. I would definitely stay at this Choice Suites again.

The hotel was located in a nice area, and if you're someone who cares about water pressure in hotel showers, the pressure was excellent. Would stay again!

There was no TV station guide available in room in order to determine what was on TV. Had to go through every channel one at a time.

I was in Virginia on business but I enjoyed my stay at Comfort Suites. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was suitable. There were many dining options close by.

The customer service was outstanding; the parking was fantastic and I felt very safe.

Stayed 2 nights. Our room faced a busy road road which made sleep almost impossible. We were able to move to another room for our second night which was much quieter. Breakfast was disappointing. The word 'comfort' is inappropriate for the place.

I really enjoyed my stay at Comfort Suites the breakfast choices were delicious and the room was immaculate.

It is the best comfort suites property we have ever stayed at. I appreciated the quick check in with Mya, the awesome interactions with all the housekeeping. We will highly recommend this hotel to all of our cruising friends leaving from Norfolk!

This property is exceptionally nice. I am 78 and one of your staff member, Judy, was extremely helpful at check-in and also in helping with my bags and seeing me to my room. She made sure that everything in the room was just as I needed, especially the walk-in shower. It’s wonderful to have staff people who care about your guests and identify those with needs. Thank you for that.

Overall a good stay, I did have a dirty towel in my room and took it down to front desk and there was hair stuck to back of bathroom door but otherwise good visit/stay

The mattress was very worn and hard and uncomfortable. Our stay was 3 nights 4 days and was told room service was every 3 days. So our room was not cleaned until we left. No access after breakfast for water and none for in room coffee. The windows, we heard highway noise and traffic all night and day. I won’t stay here again.

The place was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast options were good also. There was a slight musty odor coming from the bathroom but other than that the stay was great

Stay was good except for morning breakfast person. She was rude and seemed to have an attitude. Walked in there for breakfast and was checking out afterwards she was telling me loudly that breakfast was over. Breakfast when we checked in on weekends is 7am-10am. But during the week it ends at 9am. Wasn't told that and some other sitting there and got the same treatment. I'm not the one who likes to complain but her attitude rubbed me the wrong way. And other felt the same and said they where going to complain about this worker.

Very old a dilapidated. Found a lollipop stick in our bed during the night from previous person. Breakfast was pitiful. Certainly not worth what we paid thru Expedia.

Great morning breakfast- plenty of options. Stayed 5 nights and the hot food options rotated every 4-5 days. Nice pool at property with a covered patio area with a outdoor gas grill for those who wish to cook out.

The room was nice lots of plugs for all the electronics we had. (That I loved) The Beds were comfortable, although the pillows flatten as soon as you lay your head on them. Front desk staff wasn't rude but they weren't too friendly either. I was hoping I'd see the sweet lady that answered all my questions on the phone ( she was the reason I chose the hotel) But when I got there I got two young ladies that was all about their job no smile, no friendly conversation, Just told you what you needed to know and handed you your key. For what I paid I don't think I'd go back unless this was one of my last options, because even with all my complaints the room was decent.

I wish I got the name of the lady working the front desk at check in because she was wonderful. Check in was quick and easy and our room was great and right by the pool with easy access to the lobby as well. Breakfast was hot and delicious. There were a lot of people and only 1 waffle iron so be aware if you want waffles. We would definitely stay again!

Great stay at the Comfort Suites Chesapeake - Norfolk. The room was clean, a decent size and had what was needed for the stay, including a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was good and busy, but staff worked diligently to keep it stocked. There was water, coffee, etc., available in the lobby throughout the day. There was adequate parking and the area felt safe. The pool area was nice and the fitness room which is right off the side of the pool area is small with not much equipment, but it’s good that they have it available. The hotel is on a strip with a number of other hotels, but ensures that it has a bit of everything to offer for your stay.

I arrived early because my daughter had to work and was sitting in the lobby watching tv. I was sitting with another couple and then noticed the local news came on. The gentleman who was sitting next to me asked if they could turn the volume up and with no problem she turned up the volume. Also when a room was available, they checked me in earlier which was nice as I am disabled

It was an easy travel stop along the way, bed was comfortable and it was very clean. Would stay again.

We came down to attend our annual family reunion. All of the hotel were either over priced, had bad reviews or were booked. The Comfort Inn in Chesapeake was affordable, easy booking process and our stay what every traveler expects. Clean, friendly and professional staff, comfortable, convenient to shopping areas and not far from the beach. Thank you to all the staff for all that you do.

Staff was friendly the only problem is their breakfast area is not enough sitting and food so everyone is in the line or others is waiting for the food.

It was clean, staff was friendly and on point in whatever you asked or requested. I was impressed how clean my room was compared to other properties. I would definitely book again when I’m in the area.

The ataff was absolutely amazing, friendly, professional, ans accommodating.

The mattress on the bed was as hard as rock making it difficult to sleep. Housekeeping service was only provided once during our 5 night stay. We requested it one day earlier than what they had noted for and was just told we could request extra clean towels but they wouldn't come in and do housekeeping before our scheduled day. The coffee packets in the room were not replenished when housekeeping service was provided. Although, they do provide coffee at a coffee bar in the lobby all day, it's nice to be able to brew a cup in the room while getting ready in the morning.

Room 348. It was fantastic. The room was clean, the bed was VERY comfortable, the pillows were comfortable. I used the pool while i was there and it was well taken care of. The breakfast was tasty and actually hot. I sincerely have no complaints.

The room we were first assigned had a maintenance person working in it. He tried to call the main desk to find out what needed to be done, and the main desk would not answer him. We were given another room, and the rest of the stay was fine.

I didn’t like the lack of drawers/closet space for our clothes. My husband and I both loved the mattress and pillows. I wish I checked the brand lol. The staff was so friendly they make up for a lot too.

The staff upon check-in was very friendly as were the housekeepers. I would stay here again in the future.

Our stay was okay at best. We were traveling with 2 kids so we opted to use the pull out couch. The room did not have a closet with bedding or pillows for the pull out couch. It also didn't have enough towels for the max of 4 people for the room. We were only given 1 pillow for 2 kids. Ouside of that, breakfast was good, and bed was comfortable.
