The stay was e collect as always.However I believe that the hotel needs to have no see-through curtains in the rooms so that there is privacy andtoblock out the outside light at night.

Amazing staff. Front desk was very patient and helpful when I had an issue of my own making

Good location for UVA graduation. However, the king size studio room was unusually small. To our surprise and dismay, when we opened the sofa bed, one couldn’t get from bedroom to the bathroom room anymore - you had to step over the corner of the sofa bed which inevitably woke up our son sleeping there. To make matters worse, bathroom light didn’t work, so we had to take showers in dark - after informing the front desk immediately, it didn’t get fixed during our stay. Apparently, the property engineer couldn’t be found?! Unfortunately, a bad experience for a one-night stay that cost us almost a bundle. Otherwise, staff was friendly and graduation meant a very busy hotel and city. Overall, the joy of graduation and being with family and friends made up for the inconveniences at the hotel.

The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Room was clean and the hot breakfast was a nice surprise. Only complaint is old TV technology (Direct TV vs streaming capability).

The facility was clean and very nice. Every staff member that I encountered were extremely helpful and very kind. The breakfast was good too!

This is probably the worst experience I have with a Marriott hotel (I stay in Marriott mostly since I am an owner). This place is very old, especially inside the room. Tub was repainted but paint has faded and so color looked uneven. The bed was awful, didn’t feel supported at all. Breakfast was very mid. This whole place needs updating!

3 minute drive to where we were going. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Was glad chairs were in each room, so beds weren't needed for sitting Breakfast was included, but no juice or water was available, had to go to front desk to get water.

Breakfast was great: cage-free eggs, jalapeño egg muffins, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, good quality coffee. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Front desk staff very friendly. Comfy beds. The window AC unit in room was noisy. Rooms are on the smaller side.

They had a nice breakfast on Sunday morning The room was dirty upon arrival. There was old toilet paper in the toilet. There was a large stain on the bathroom door. We had room 222, which was directly off the elevator and incredibly loud. Very disappointing for a Fairfield property

Very good stay at well maintained property. Good location within 15 minutes of downtown Charlottesville but only 15 minutes from very good hiking and biking. USB or USB-c in rooms would be nice.

Was generally what expected for price,. Stayed for three nights and never had housekeeping. Were told every other day which would have been OK.

There was nothing about my stay that I didn’t like.

Nice place. Slight issue with the shower. There was a slight issue with the shower that could not be fixed as the maintenance men were not there. However they did offer a new room otherwise no complaints.

Breakfast was included and free parking. At check-In Í asked for a room not facing the street, the FD agent said she got me a room facing the pool. When we got in the room, it was exactly the opposite. She gave me a room on the street side, it was not only loud, it was also super bright. My reservation is for a suite with king and pull out sofa bed for my 10 y/o. When we opened the pull out sofa, there was no space to walk around. It was literally touching the wall. We had to step wide, high and hold on to the wall when getting up in the middle of the night. It was incredibly safety hazardous. They could not move us to another room because they were sold out. I ended up not getting sleep the two nights we stayed at this hotel.

We arrived very late and it took a few minutes to get inside. I think the woman was sleeping which is understandable since it was so late.

One small additional thing ... The AC worked for the most part, but the fan I wanted to have on all night (and kept having to change the setting to keep on) kept going off ... And the room warmed quickly. The staff was very nice, and were very accommodating.

The breakfast was great, lots of choices to eat... And the check out is noon and that's a plus, other hotels/ motels it's either 10am or 11a.m.. They should learn from this hotel cause customers are happy when they don't need to rush in the morning. Thank you!

The main complaint is the running toilet and then it literally took more than 3 minutes for the toilet tank to fill after flushing and it ran all night. Also, the room was so cold all night even after turning off the unit. Cold air blew all night. We even turned the heat on the next morning and it didn't seem to be working great set at 76 degrees. These things were very annoying. I only stayed one night for a few hours so I didn't complain. I was also put in a handicap room which I did not request and couldn't hang my bag or clothes because they would have been on the floor. I had to hang them from the door hinge. Again, I didn't want to complain. I just think that if a guest didn't request a handicap room they should be reserved or at least ask the guest when checking in if they mind being assigned to a handicap room.

A lovely touch. The room was very clean but the bed was atrocious! It sunk in the middle. We kept falling into each other during the night. It took me 5 minutes of warm up stretching to be able to stand upright the next morning. Also the refrigerator made a weird high pitched noise. I almost unplugged it.

Staff was amazing. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because the bed was pretty uncomfortable. Also, room service came in and took all the dirty towels and didnt leave clean ones so we had no towels left in our room, we had to go downstairs to get some from the front desk. Other than that, hotel is pristine and staff is AMAZING

The mattress was uncomfortable, and the carpets were old and dirty. The room was very small for the price per night. There were a bunch of people grilling out back like they lived there, and homeless people hanging out. Weird. Breakfast was good and people were very nice.

Staff were friendly and efficient. Lots of clean, good quality linens. Lots of hot water and water pressure was high. There was black mold under the soap holder in the bathroom. The artwork in the room can only be described as dark and suicidal. It was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Kind of a up and down experience but overall good enough.

The Inn was clean and quiet. After long travel days this and a good shower makes it the best. They did have a small food and snack pantry which is convenient for me since I sometimes dont get there until late.

The defunct restaurant next door is a hangout for Vagrants which made me very concerned for the safety of my $100,000 specialty work truck and its high tech tools etc inside. I've used this hotel for years and no concerns when restaurant was operating

Gym was disappointing. Dirty and 2 of the 3 machines were not working. Food bar was great and room was clean. Grateful to have this room after 24 hours of no power during wonder storm!

Stayed only one night, staff was professional and kind, young man working the breakfast was so attentive and didn’t stop working for a second. Rooms were very clean and beds very comfortable.

Check in was good. Common areas were clean. The room cost $241 for one night. Very high but it was priced the same as other area hotels. Our room smelled odd and the beds were very soft. The carpet felt damp but it wasn’t. Maybe it had soap residue from being cleaned. It wasn’t terrible but we would not stay here again.

Whilst we enjoyed our stay we were disappointed at how outdated our room was particularly the bathroom. It was somewhat clean but had rust stains around the toilet floor and the toilet itself was not stabilized to the floor. Shower head very old and definitely no updates for quite some time. At 250.00 per night I expected more.

Motorcycle was revving in parking lot very early in the morning for extended time which woke us up. Then we could hear traffic from highway. A lot of light was coming through curtains even though closed. Then housekeeping was knocking on door at 8:30am. Not a restful stay.

Wife & I enjoyed it. Continental Breakfast was a no show. Very little to choose from. My guess is once COVID is FULLY over with they’ll add to the breakfast. Otherwise a great place to stay. Thanks Ffield Inn!
