One of the better options in this area - however, the kitchen was missing some items such as - cutting board, forks, etc. I did ask the staff and they did provide. Overall, price and location is good.

Check in was absolutely ridiculous the card machine did not work the elevators did not work the a/c on the third floor in the hallway was also broken not to mention it was 95 degrees overall I will not recommend this place to anyone the staff was not helpful at all floors were dirty and old this place needs help

Decent location. Room was extremely clean. Check-in took forever. Elevators were down during my trip. Of course I’m not told this until I’m checked in and handed keys to the 3rd floor. The third floor was blazing hot and smelled strongly of dog urine unfortunately.

The room was quiet - no noisy neighbors were heard INSIDE our rooms, which was surprising, as sometimes the sounds of others in the hall made you wonder if it was going to be a bumpy night! But NO "bumps" all rest!!! Staff interaction was minimal - but very professional!!! Lady at check-in was the same, kind woman that checked us in 2 years prior!! Had one instance where our keys stopped working, but while that was a surprise to us AND the front desk clerk that day, he had it fixed in a jif and we were all good to rest up befor going out later! The entire neighborhood is gorgeous and quiet too!!! Plenty of trees and shrubs to drown out any street noise Plus, they have a gas grill for guests to use and tables under a lovely, permanent gazebo to keep you cooler in the shade. Kitchen was VERY WELL EQUIPPED with even the small appliances!!! Small coffee pot with a couple of coffees pouches to get started, microwave, soaps, towels... these things are common & expected at most hotels, esp long term(7+days)... BUT, TO ALSO INCLUDE: a TOASTER, Can Opener, Full Kitchen Size Refrigerator & Freezer WITH Ice Maker -also cleaned out before our arrival, so FRESH, UNTOUCHED ice being made continually, DISHWASHER, Cooktop, All Dishes & Flatware, Pot & Pans w/utensils. Bring your beverages, food & spices & you are good to go! Already a repeat customer & will REMAIN one!!!

From the start we were informed the elevator was not in service, to constantly having to get the key recarded every other day. As well as having to wipe down every surface in the room with Clorox wipes to disinfect and feel somewhat clean. I most definitely will never stay here again. Hope this helps someone who is thinking of staying here.

The only thing I liked about the property was the location and the staff was nice.. it needs to be updated, but I think it’s in the process from what I could see. If I wanna be picky the hallway Rugs need to be cleaned there were lots of stains in the carpet going out the doors. And the furniture is a little outdated rust in the bathrooms, but again that needed to be renovated.

Hotel staff is exceptional across the board. The room was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was properly stocked. Unfortunately, only 2 out of 6 of the dryers work, and the elevator has been out of order for approximately one week. Although these issues are out of the control of the hotel staff, they are very apologetic to the guests.

This hotel was okay at best. The carpets are in need of cleaning and during my 4 night stay, the only elevator was broken several different times which was very inconvenient. I also got the vibe that many guests were actually living in the hotel and this was certainly not ideal for cleanliness or peace and quiet.

I love that this place is actually peaceful! The staff are very kind and helpful. This was my second time coming here, so they are consistent.

Previous trash wasn't clear. That's terrible considering I am regularly visiting here. Also the gym equipments not working.

Area, convenience, quiet, and parking was nice Our room smelled like cigarettes, buttons were missing for the AC unit and room didnt get cold which was noted and we thought sprays would help but it did not

It was easily accessible, the room was clean, and the staff were ok. The elevator random went out, the stairwell smelled like a used diaper my entire stay despite the fact that they place a strong aroma therapy scent booster.

Location The elevator was out for most of my stay. As was the dryers. The outlets were not working either.

There was only one chair at the island that separated the kitchen from the sitting area.

The overall aesthetics of the room was great, however there was a smell in the unit which took away from the appearance. The smell was that of sour mildew indicating that maybe the carpet had not been vacuumed or shampooed in a while. Also the furniture had a bunch it knicks and scrapes on them and the fabric on sofa in the room was also dirty. Some water spilled on the cushion and the towel was really dirty after just pressure was applied to soak up the water. Also upon arrival the elevator was down and the only rooms available were on the 3rd floor while they offered a refund without penalty, I’d driven over 2hrs to get there and that should have been my sign of things to come.

The place had no wifi it was a sex juice on my bed when i first checked in i took pictures we had to change rooms and the room we changed to ac didnt work well the wifi would not connect i used the email i used at check in it was very dark outside the hotel kinda scary looking the hotel was out dated hallways and a whole in the floor in the hallway on my way to room 238 i fell on my way out this morning it a big whole in the floor und we the carpets i about broke my leg. It smell like dog sweat i. The hallway and the staff was helpful but standoffish when i came to complain about sparm loking spot on the bed

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 4/5 This is definitely not a luxury hotel, but for a budget-friendly extended stay, it was a really solid choice. The room was simple but very clean, and that immediately made us feel comfortable. The biggest surprise was the bed — it was incredibly soft and comfortable, which is honestly rare to find in any hotel, regardless of price. For me, that alone made the stay worth it. Since this is a suite hotel, having the kitchenette was a huge plus. The room came with a full-size refrigerator and freezer, a two-burner cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, plates, cups, silverware, a pot, and a small skillet. It was especially convenient for keeping leftovers and simple meals. There is no ice machine, but the freezer had a refillable ice tray, so I would recommend grabbing a bag of ice on the way in if you use a lot of ice. The bathroom had full-size dispensers for hand soap, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner, which was a nice touch. The towels seemed new and fluffy. Our room initially had only two towels, but when we asked, the staff quickly brought us an extra full set. The AC worked well and had a continuous fan option, which was great for blocking out hallway and outside noise. Another nice feature was the good-sized laundry room, which would be especially helpful for anyone staying multiple nights or using this as a true extended-stay

This place is honestly for the locals that need an extended stay/something affordable to stay in. It was very dated and not very clean and ALL my towels smelled like cigarettes.

Room was very dirty upon arrival, food debris on the floor and hair in the bed. Shower pressure was very high causing water not to stay in the tub. Nobody ever visited while we were out to replace towel that were all used up on day one due to the water. Alot of people hanging around the parking lot late at night. Also very noisy throughout the night causing lack of sleep.

I mentioned it to the front desk clerk, and of course, he said he couldn't help cause I booked via a third party vendor. I contacted Expedia and their response was it was what Sonesta provided. To make matters worse, I encountered FOUR roaches in my room. One in the morning and three in the evening. A big one, medium one and small. It was like papa, momma and the baby. A whole family reunion. I did bring this matter to the attention of the front desk both times. I had stayed at this place once before but after this bad experience, not again.

We loved everything about our stay, it was a perfect budget option near a concert venue we frequent. We will definitely be back, my only complaint is a tiny bit of mold in the bathroom but not enough to deter us from coming back.

I booked this room for an employee going to an out of town training. She felt unsafe staying here, her room was broken into and all her clothes were stolen. She said when she checked in the employee made comments about how he liked her clothes, and if he had money he’d dress that nice too, so she felt like the staff was in on it and didn’t trust any of them. It was also a very dated, run down place. In general, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Building is definitely "unassuming" as it reminds me of a border school. Room was spacious and felt like a mini apartment. Needs updating though (tvs and overall room appeal). Feels more like an extended stay, and not always in a good way.

The photographs on this website are highly misleading. Upon our arrival, check-in was uncomplicated, but an unpleasant odor immediately emanated from the entrance. Upon reaching our room, we discovered what appeared to be bloodstains on our bedding and a substantial red stain on the carpet. Our intention was to stay for five days, but we promptly departed the following day. While the staff exhibited friendliness and processed my refund, these were the only positive aspects of our stay.

The staff was extremely polite and friendly, even when we arrived an hour before check in but couldn’t check in yet. The lady who had to tell us our rooms were not ready was so kind about it. It was a very fast check in and check out process. I would definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival when I got to my room it wasn’t the room that I originally booked and when I went to the desk they couldn’t immediately switch the room so I was inconvenienced for the and they moved me the next day.

This stay was 2 weeks to stay until my husband’s last day at work in Charlotte. I figured we could stay here as long as we needed and though we still aren’t ready to move we decided to check out. It was not bearable any longer. It was not very comfortable. The refrigerator was noisy periodically throughout the day and night. The worse was the air conditioner unit. It’s an old system and it is super loud and inconsistent. The hallways were constantly filled with the stinking smell of weed. The elevator has a big jolt that occurs every time you ride it. It’s nerve wracking. We would not stay here again. This place needs a lot of work and upgrades. It has potential.

We enjoyed our stay at Sonesta simply suites. The staff were friendly and more than ready to help with anything we might need. Our room was comfortable but could have been a little cleaner. This property is well-maintained and very convenient to dining, shopping, and the Charlotte raceways.

I feel safe and comfortable staying here.

I didn't even stay there at all. I immediately wanted to checkout and was i couldn't and when I agree lose the first night of my 4 night stay, they agreed to refund the remaining three. However, I am now finding out that is a lie and they are trying to keep my money. I have legal looking into this as this place was false advertising at it's best. If I had the ability to download photos, I would. My advice is GO ELSEWHERE!

The property location was easy to access from the highway and then get to campus and the area that I needed to get to. The room was very spacious and provided all the amenities that I had not had recently at other hotels in the area, so this will be my go to now!

Staff charged me wrong I never got my deposit back I paid a dog fee and a deposit upon leaving they told me I need 300 dollars I'm like how y'all took money off my card they never gave me my deposit nothing no call about situation

This property is old and dated. Choose the location in University Research on E. WT Harris. It’s much nicer

Customer service and all staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Having a kitchen in the room was very enjoyable and saved us some money versus going out for breakfast. Only complaint is that the entry door from the rear parking lot does not work properly and we had to walk around to the side to use our key card for entry.

This place is rude and the room was absolutely horrible the door got stuck an the people above us was just awful the fridge kept making a weird noise just awful than they kept our deposit saying it smelt like smoke meanwhile we dont even smoke

The hotel had a couple issues when I checked in. The elevator was out during my entire 6 day stay. The gym was under renovation, so it could not be used. On the day of check out, housekeeping walked in on me and my guest as we came out of the shower, without knocking first. I asked maintenance to look at the bathroom fan that was very loud, but nothing was done.

The photos listed on this site do not represent the hotel at all. This hotel was dated, dirty and just plain worn out. The elevator was out of service on 2 separate days during my stay. The price was waaaayyyyyy to much for what you get. The staff was friendly, but that is about it.

Hotel wasnt bad, i was escaping flooding in asheville. It was just me and my small dog, that I had to pay an $86 fee for. They put me in a room directly across from the front desk, and everytime my dog heard someone, they barked. So not a peaceful stay by any means, i think i got woken uo every hour or so. Overall, the 1 night stay cost around $250. Highly disappointed, but at least i was able to shower.

This property is a great option if you are staying a few days in charlotte. The full kitchen was convenient and the room was spacious.
