This hotel was not in a safe area, and there were people that harassed me in the parking lot. When I got to my room, the toilet barely flushed, the television did not work, and the shower handle fell off when I tried to use the shower. I like a discount hotel like the next person, but this place was beyond bad.

There area was unsafe, alot of homeless people. Do not recommend!

We got here and the hotel was nothing as seen on hotels.com This place should not even be listed as a hotel option. It was filthy and I was actually scared to even be there. We couldnt get a taxi fast enough to get out of there. Would NOT recommend!!

Surrounding areas are very scary and hotel has very very bad smell. Room is very dirty and spend 6 hrs with tension. So, i cancel my 2 days stay and stick to one day only. And still very terrible. I won't recommend this anyone.

Probably the worst Motel 6 in America. Cockroaches at service desk. Drug deals and such taking place all around the hotel. No change on hand for cash deposit. Hand written receipt. And watch out for the potholes throughout the parking lot..

There were vagrants and hooked all over the property. Because of this, I was forced to book at a different altogether. I can’t understand how Expedia can list this property. Apparently they and Motel 6 have dropped the ball on vetting the place. it is unsafe for travelers and I will go out of my way to steer anyone away from booking there. I am also demanding a full refund.

For one, where was the airport?! Two, the place appeared to be very populated with drug addicts. We literally saw a dude smoke crack in the parking lot! Third, they put us near the room with TWO barking dogs! There was no TV guide at all, pillows were atrocious. And the bed frames were SUPER creaky. We could barely sleep! Didn't even feel safe! We were afraid of going outside because there were so many crackheads outside the complex. There was literally NO electricity in our room. I am shocked that Expedia would even put this place on its website. This place needs to be demolished.

I was traveling with a toddler and the front desk booked us for 3rd floor with the elevator being out of order. This was overall a ridiculous experience. The motel also advertised for breakfast,L. There was no breakfast.

Place literally sucks so bad, management overbooks and then tries to downgrade your hotel room and act likes its not big deal. Go stay at the Double Tree Hotel literally a mile down the road, just $20 more. It's Definity not worth staying here.

Yes they redid the place but it isnt finished the rooms were small but it wasnt good at all . Did not feel safe in the ouside of the building . Furniture was broken and coming out of the walls .

The Expedia listing mentioned an airport shuttle service, but there is none. There is a $100 cash deposit required, but I didn't realize that and have never had that situation before. The kitchen was nice but the latch to lock the door was broken and the bed squeaky. There were some drug addicts outside in a nearby building, as well as a strip club. The rooms were cheap and the morning staff was friendly. But I wouldn't stay here again

Will not do this one again. Fire alarm was hanging from ceiling by a wire. Hotel is right next to a strip club which probably contributes to the shady clientele staying at the hotel. I'm sure human trafficking, prostitution and drug dealing takes place at this hotel. The hotel needs a major facelift and new owners. Until then no more.

The staff were excellent and professional. Yet that is all the praise we could give. The room we were assigned was not ready for us and were given a different room. We woke up with suspicious bites. To be fair, we may have gotten them prior to sleeping. The noise outside was constant. We had to ask the staff to address some of our neighbors late at night. The treadmill in the fitness room did not work. The rest of the fitness area offered little. The shower and sink were half broken. Of all the hotel stays I've had, this ranks as one of the worse.

We had only 1 wash cloth for 4 people and were told they had no more. Breakfast wasn't much and the room smelled like cigarettes and we asked for non smoking.

After booking this property over the phone with an expedia agent I was told that they had a free 24/7 airport shuttle with the option of paying 4$ a day for parking. Once I arrived to check in, I was made aware that their airport shuttle started at 6am so that would not accommodate my 5am flight. I loved that they had real sausage gravy and biscuits. The lobby is lovely as well!

This property was seedy at best, I was created by what learned were workers smoking by the entry in the middle of the day. My room reeked of cigarettes and marijuana. The neighbors stood outside of my hotel room window smoking every 15 mins with her husband. Staff were circling the building, people were working on their cars in the lot, it looked as if there was a lot of illegal activities going on. I left immediately, within 1 hour of checking in. Run don’t walk, cheap but not worth it.

I felt little better, but after sometime, especially during night, it smelled with the smoke. I couldn’t sleep properly due to this. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were there for 3 nights. i would have left but we had prepaid and couldn't get our money back. Finally on our 3rd night security did something and some of the perpetrators were evicted. The security men did NOTHING the first 2 nights and didn't even set foot on our floor. The ladies at the front desk tried to be accomodating.

Amazing!! Staff is SO friendly and more importantly courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. I cant recommend this place any more!! Right near Interstate 77 so easy on and off to get around Charlotte. Safe too.

Amazing!! Staff is SO friendly and more importantly courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. I cant recommend this place any more!! Right near Interstate 77 so easy on and off to get around Charlotte. Safe too.

I had my confirmation printed The clerk said they had no rooms We sat in the lobby for over an hour trying to find another room finally after 10 the clerk said she may have a cancellation I got a room for 2 nights My daughter contacted Travelocity- The clerk Deshonda would not speak with travelocity representatives and kept hanging the phone up on them This is a horrible place The staff is insufferable and rude I needed a room for a 3rd night because we came in for my daughter to have surgery - They said they were booked and I had to find another place to stay and drive back to the Baymont to make sure my daughter was alright that entire day and night I would not recommend this place-they have no respect for a reservation or travelocity patronage DO NOT STAY HERE

I gave a good amount of time to describe how deplorable this establishment is and why customers specially those out of town or with children must stay away from this place due to it being unsafe, noisy very late at night, not having cameras to prove your point and how some of their front desk employees are very unprofessional and can not/ would not handle situations that are beneficial for PAYING customers. But I can not post my opinion! I guess hotels.com filters responses that are beneficial to their bottom lines only.

As a business owner working out of town with my crew, I booked two rooms for 6 nights, but had to leave early due to several factors. One major factor was that I complained to management concerning a very disruptive noise, but their response was to basically shrug it off. The response just had me to look for somewhere else. The noise was so disruptive, there was no way of sleeping. My crew and I work very physically demanding jobs and this just left my crew and me in really bad shape for the day. I cannot afford to be in bad shape, exhausted and sore and not able to rest and pay my crew to be in the same shape. Due to the cancellation policy, I couldn't receive a refund for the days I booked but didn't use (at this point, I had used only 3 nights). Taught me a lesson about booking ahead on a property that I never been to before. The rooms were clean, but the response to my legitimate complaint left me not wanting to book here again - which I informed my assistant admin.

I requested rooms next to each other at check in. The woman had one of my rooms on one side of the hotel and my other room on the other side. I was very upset. After my son in law spoke with her about it. She changed it.

The night staff was much better than the day staff. It was freshly remodeled but they didnt do a good job. Mold in shower ceiling. Leaks in bedroom ceiling. I have no plans of staying here again.

My visit brief , yet very , comfortable. The new renovation gave the room the feel of luxury. I really appreciated the breakfast and the ability to smoke right outside if the room .

The service was deplorable!!!! Not really helpful at all.Combative. Had so many issues with the shuttle that I was made to feel as though it was my fault. I would never stay here again and I am going to contact their corporate office and let them know how bad my experience was. Stay away from this place. Expedia should drop them from the roster.

Airport Shuttle service is a joke, after stating we would arrive around 11pm, hotel assured they would pick us up, called them on arrival they said they couldn't pick us up because shuttle driver went home. Should have taken Uber or Lyft because a taxi was 20.00. The hotel should not even state they have breakfast, Wyndham should be ashamed that one of their brands is serving garbage. Saving grace, there is a IHOP in the parking lot. We made a reservation for a 730am shuttle to airport, they didn't have it scheduled, made us wait 25min. Finally some man shows up in sweat suit and slippers, just rolled out of bed, with a cranky attitude to drive us to the airport. Baymont Totally dropped the ball with false promises and poor customer service. Will never stay here again, not even last minute like this time. Also be careful walking around the hotel, bad neighborhood.

As my wife and I would not feel secure in such an environment and the fact that we would never let our golden retriever stay overnight in such deplorable accommodations we found another more suitable pet friendly hotel nearby for a few dollars more. Great location... Close to all the restaurant ..close to the stadium

We were only there for a layover to sleep between flights. "Big Rick", our driver was great! Friendly and accommodating considering we came in around midnight. Unfortunately, there was a rowdy group next door making noise that kept us up until 4:15 a.m. and we had to get up at 4:45 a.m. We trying calling the front desk a number of times to complain about the noise but no one picked. The guy at the front desk said he was there all night so either he stepped away when we happened to call the the phones were not working. Needless to say, we did not get much sleep and we would have been better off sleeping on a chair in the airport.

The hotel can improve many things starting with the staff service.

Staff was friendly and cooperative. Carpet was old and worn. The sink had a loose faucet. Beds were clean and comfortable. Unit had good tv, microwave and fridge . Some noise at night. Good close location for access to Billy Graham Library and points of interest downtown.

I had a roach run across the table and try to get in my bags. I had to kill 1 and 1 got away.

Clean and the room looks like everything was new

Stayed for two nights and overall was a good stay. Area was not the best but was close to what I needed. Lots of noise early in the morning that woke us up. Breakfast was sub par but there is an Ihop within walking distance. Service was extremely quick at check in and check out. Would have been faster if the customers in front didn’t have issues. All in all well worth the amount we paid

The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. I like that the remote to the TV actually worked.

Too noisy. Weird people hanging around. Paper thin walls can hear everything.

The location of this hotel was not in a good section of town. People out yelling with loud music playing and people cursing on a Sunday night. The front desk staff were not friendly and seemed like they didn’t want to be bothered when we checked in and out. It was obvious I got what I paid for since the hotel was cheap. I will never stay there again.

The staff was very nice. The hotel is old and run down. Plaster peeling off the ceiling. The carpet and walls were stained and dirty. No bugs in my room but my friends room (same floor but opposite side of the building) we saw 3 roaches in the hour that I was in there room.

the availability of vending machine was great - just at the entrance of each floor.
