    The rooms AC was getting the carpet wet. We were moved to the room next door. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our two night stay.

    The staff was super nice and easy going. The hotel was clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. I don’t like that the breakfast wasn’t included with the hotel. You had to pay extra to be included with the breakfast. Plus it wasn’t stated no where while booking or during check in.

    Make sure the breakfast is included with the room before you purchase it. Because it was not included with my room. Then I was told I had a 20 dollar credit I could use by one worker, but then later that afternoon was told I did not. So just make sure you are getting charged for everything at once.

I requested late checkout and confirmed that twice with the hotel leading up to my stay and at check-in. Suddenly on that day it couldn't be accommodated (and again would have been more expensive than advertised). Room had random stains which seemed fairly old in several locations. Bathroom had water stains on ceiling and the toilet seat was so loose it was nearly off.

I made the reservation on this app and when I got to the hotel they did not have it in their system. The woman at the desk didn't know what to do so I had to wait for her manager to show up. My instinct told me to walk but I waited, and waited for the manager to show up. I've used Booking.com exclusively for almost 10 years at this point, at hotels all around the world and have never encountered this type of problem.     The lobby area always smelled of grilled food and this was not an appetite stimulating aroma. The room was clean. The staff were very attentive and addressed issues quickly. The power shade was broken on check in and was repaired within minutes of notifying the staff. We also had an issue with our door lock. The battery went dead. Again within minutes the issue was resolved. Just do something about that lobby oder. It is not appealing.

    My husband and I were in Charlotte this past weekend to support our daughter who was competing in a body building competition. We chose this hotel as it was close to the convention center where the competition was being held. It's a really nice hotel. The rooms are large and well equipped with microwaves and refrigerators. The bathrooms were also nice and clean with fluffy towels. The highlight of my trip was the amazing staff, in particular Ashley, who was at the check in desk when we arrived. She was pleasant and professional and made us feel so welcome! I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Charlotte.

    Staff was wonderful! My sister and I forgot the block for our phone charger and I went to the front desk around 11:30 pm to see if the hotel had some or if there was somewhere near by where I could purchase one. I didn't catch her name, but the very kind lady running the counter had one and let us borrow it. The location was perfect, allowing us to walk to and from our event at the spectrum center. Inside of the hotel was beautiful and clean! I will definitely stay here in the future if I need to be in the area.

    The room was very nice. there was what looked like a blood stain on the rug next to one of the beds. I thought $20 for breakfast was to high. I just prefer a quick self service to eat and get going. The Holte price was execellent but $35 for parking seemed a bit to much. It was fourteenth hotle stay on our trip and theonly other parkng fee was $10.

    Check in was rough, we were delayed because of flight cancelations and I called to let the hotel know. I had 5 rooms booked and only 1 person was arriving on time. I was fine with no refunds because we were past the change date, I just asked to let that one individual check us all in so we can get to rooms as soon as we arrived but instead we were canceled for 1 night. Staff wasn't interested in being helpful. Additionally, there were huge stains on carpeting in 3 of the 5 rooms. As a Hilton member you can have 2 bottles of water daily, but it wasn't put in room you had to ask. Shampoo was empty. Not filled on day 2 or 3.

You can hear traffic noise in the room which keeps you up late and wake you up early when the city traffic starts to circulate. Bathtub was not nice, cracked on top, missing filling between plastic wall and tub. whoever put it in place, did a poor job using inclination properly so water doesn't accumulate in the middle of the tub. Plastic fixed shower faucet which can't be moved around for body wash. Mattresses are already worn out. It feels like they swallow you. One would think for that price, drinking water would be provided but instead there were two cheap bottles of water at $ 2 dollars per bottle with a tag to promote membership. Poor marketing strategy. My coworker and I are giving the same report to our School System CO for future reference.

    Some of the staff was friendly but definitely not all of them We brought food with us to save money but didn't realize the fridge didn't work so I woke up the next day to a smell coming from the fridge. We ended up losing 3 of my main meals (2 lunches and 1 dinner due to my food going bad because it contained mayonnaise) The hotel only offered 1 complimentary meal. Also some of the staff had very poor attitudes like they were annoyed that I had an issue.

    Our stay at this hotel was unfortunately far below expectations. While the property itself appeared decent, the staff attitude and management response completely ruined our experience. We went down for breakfast and waited over 20 minutes before anyone approached our table. When the waiter finally arrived, the interaction was far from friendly — the staff seemed irritated and dismissive, which made the start of our day unnecessarily unpleasant. For a hotel under the Hilton brand, this level of service was surprising and disappointing. Later, due to airport closures, we decided to extend our stay by one more night. We confirmed the extension twice with the front desk, even making sure the change was properly updated. However, when we returned later, we were told that the reservation was never extended. The receptionist on duty gave us attitude instead of offering help or an apology. When we asked to speak with a manager, Mr. R. Her came to assist — but instead of resolving the issue calmly, he was defensive, tense, and shockingly rude. Rather than trying to de-escalate the situation, his tone and body language only made things worse. We travel frequently and understand that mistakes can happen, but what truly matters is how staff and management handle them.     We liked the ease of check in and how it was very clean. Multiple outlets are great! I think we had received this room in error - toilet constantly runs after flushing and outlet is missing a screw so the outlet box comes off the wall. And couldn't fix the blinds - it was bright all night and pillow were odd. Too flat or stiff, or I sick I to them. Beds were comfy and bathrooms well stocked.

    Checkin had seven guests in line, one employee checking everyone in and took too long. The employee did a good job and was polite, but he did not have enough help. I was asked if I wanted “valet” parking for a charge of $35 per day. I responded yes. The standard understanding of valet parking is that someone parks your car. When I returned with my car key, I was told that you have to park your own car. Serious bait and switch situation here. Lots of nickel and diming at this hotel with no continental breakfast and maid service every other day. The latter issue should be included in the Expedia informational details. The bar mixologist Gari Fields was excellent. He was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.

    The establishment is a little old and needs some updating. When we registered Ebony was working the front end alone. There were several guests checking in and she handled them with ease and professionalism. After checking in we tried to enter our room to no avail. Called Ebony and assured us Maintenance was on the way. 15-20 minutes we called again. Again maintenance was on the way. My companion went downstairs and when he returned Ebony was by his side. She took care of the problem and was very apologetic for maintenance not showing. Ebony as I see it is a valuable employee and should be rewarded for going above and beyond.

    Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The bed was cozy, and we really appreciated the little touches that made the stay relaxing. The location is perfect—right in Uptown, within walking distance of restaurants, entertainment, and attractions, which made exploring Charlotte so convenient. The amenities were also a plus. The lobby area was inviting, and the on-site dining options made it easy to grab a bite without having to leave the hotel.     Ms. Sheraline at the front desk was very sweet and personable. She went over and beyond and was the brightest part of our stay with this hotel. As far as Ebony, her customer service is very poor. She’s short patient and slightly rude. I asked for towels, was interrupted and rushed off the phone just for her to still not have towels come to our room. When I called again Ms. Sheraline was working and she had towels come within minutes and even did a follow up call to make sure we got them. She’s great.

    We were on the 13th floor overlooking the Nascar Hall of fame. Could barely hear the traffic. We had a very nice view of the skyline. Room was extremely comfortable and I love having queen size pillows. Bathrooms are very nicely modernized with walk-in showers I'm planning a vanity space to spread out. Check in and check out was very easy and friendly. Ebony at the front desk was so helpful! Love the location of this hotel and have stayed here many times. Came in for the Panthers game and it was an easy 20 minute walk.

    The front desk person was not treating me as a paying guest. He was more like a worker at the DMV. He granted me an early check in but the bed was unmade and there were towels on the floor. I asked if I could just leave my things while they clean...he refused. He offered another room that had people in it. That was extremely dangerous for both myself and the other guest. He then said that i would just have to wait. This was a 1 hour ordeal. I had a funeral to attend and I missed it.

    My husband and I stayed at this hotel twice this month and we really enjoyed. The reason why I didn’t give an “excellent” rate, was because, for some strange reason, there was a Peloton bike inside our room. I’d recommend that they’d give an information at the front desk, before giving you the bike. Also, one of the bedside lights wasn’t working.

    The Hilton Garden Inn was a fantastic choice for me. Check in was a breeze and the woman at the front desk (Cherilyn) was friendly, kind, and helpful. The room was exactly what I asked for, and I had no issues whatsoever. The lobby and food area was clean and fully functional. I would highly recommend this hotel to future travelers!

    2) stayed on 13th floor, fire alarm was pulled on 4th floor, 6 fire trucks arrived, some folks evacuated according to desk staff but we never heard any alarm on 13th floor or were made aware until hours later (seems like a fire code violation?) 3) was told upon arrival on July 4th that there would be fireworks at the baseball stadium that night. There were none. It was the night before. Had a very disappointed kid. 4) was told there would be breakfast served. Next morning found out it was $15 per person, and was awful. Reheated hard as a rock French toast sticks, no juice, and the same mediocre food that we received for free at another hotel a few days before 5) $35 a day to park is a rip off.     I had some rings stolen and a few other things. From what I could tell the thieves spent quite a bit of time in my van, maybe even sleeping the night. They left behind trash, a cigarette lighter and articles of clothing. The staff, when told, did not seem to care in any way. They pulled up what seemed like a canned legal response on the computer and started reading it out, saying they are not legally responsible for any thefts. The final report? The hotel couldn't care less. If you value your possessions, and don't want your car being used as a hostel for thieves during your stay, DO NOT stay at this hotel if you need to use the garage.

    Decent,, but not really any better than the cheaper nearby properties. Only free coffee, not breakfast, which was expensive for what it was. Sloppy housekeeping. If they are going to hang all the dispensers in the shower, they need to make sure they actually leave soap at the sink.

    Enjoyed our stay for the Metallica concert! Easy walk to BoA stadium. Lots of restaurants and things to do in the area. Hotel staff were super nice and helpful! Everything was clean. Parking was easy. Great spot to get a lot of places. Thanks!

    Nice location, clean, and staff. Had an issue with my A/C unit leaking and the carpet in the room was soaked and the room had a slight stench from the moisture. When I reported it they just said they'll put a fan in the room. I was hoping they'd offer to move me to another room due to the conditions but that wasn't an option. Additionally the fan was really loud to sleep with. Also wish the lobby store had more options...even just cold water. Only had a few sodas and snacks available.

    This hotel was very clean and quiet. My room was extremely comfortable. Parking was easy, but expensive. The one night that I wanted to eat in the hotel restaurant, they didn't have 2 out of 2 things I wanted on the menu. The server seemed very uninterested and never smiled. The staff at the front desk was always friendly and welcomed me in each time I walked through the door. Definitely a great place to stay, but skip dining in.

    Checked in only had 1 of my 2 rooms on file. I had to wait for 25 Minutes until a Manager was available only to learn that the 2nd room was under my other guest name which the attendant should have checked. Then no apology but did inform me that Parking was $35 per day on top of a $200 deposit $100 for each room. I was so unhappy.

    Majority of staff was seemingly indifferent to needs and wants and not knowledgeable about questions about local area. Did not like the fact that I purchased Insurance in the event plans changed and they did with 2 of the people traveling with us as they had to leave a day early. Hotel couldn't help, Expedia couldn't help and Insurance rep said on two occasions they'd ask hotel to assist. Nothing. Did learn that I only needed the other room for 2 nights instead of three until 2 days prior to traveling.

    There was a public parking lot across the street, but was told we couldn’t use it, why? It’s used by others, let me pay the $5 fee and mind your own business, let me mind mine. Her reply, you can cancel your booking and go somewhere else. What an outstanding reply to gain customer retention. But this is an entitled culture we live in, which means respect and courtesy are no longer valid concerns for anyone but the “me crowd”.

    The place was in a very good area. You could walk to everything. The building was clean. The only problem we had was that the sink was stopped up, but they fixed it right away. I did ask for an adjoining room because we had guess that came along, but they could not give me an adjoining room, but they placed us on the same floor. We did not see an indoor pool, neither did we ask, but it was something that if it was visible, we would have gone. The breakfast was good. The people at the front desk were wonderful. They were very friendly and accommodating if what we had asked for was available. The area was fantastic. All the food restaurants they had were numerous and we had a balls.

    It was an okay property. Great location. Expensive parking - $35. Bathroom could be cleaner. On the day I was checking out, I received a knock from house keeponf at 9am and after I said no thank you bc I was checking out later that day, the house keeper started asking when I was leaving. The exchange was weird and made me feel like I was being rushed.
