    The Hilton Garden Inn asd it's staff were amazing. They are currently renovating the property and it is looking amazing. The GM, Steven, was outstanding as well. He upgraded our room to a top floor, freshly renovated, room at no charge. I highly recommend this hotel.

    Location Construction that I was not aware about! I booked a specific room for my daughter in advance, for a reason with a Jacuzzi tub. I also asked for early check-in at 1 PM. I was told I would hear back within 24 hours about the early check-in never heard back, so when we showed up at 4 o’clock to check in before the concert that started in Charlotte at six. We were told that the room that I booked was not available, they had no room rooms with Jacuzzi tubs due to the construction! But yet nobody contacted me to tell me this, and it was available on their site! Needless to say, I was not impressed, I was offered nothing for that issue!

    The property did not advise they are in the middle of a renovation when I booked it. I paid normal price. It would’ve been fair to know that because they are renovating, they could’ve offered a lower price and leave it up to the travelers to decide whether or not they want to stay.

    I was at hotel to prepare for an event and needed a nap but room next door was under construction and loud banging etc so no rest. Thankful it was stopped when i returned.

    1. Once you pass the newly polished lobby, your to the elevators, and along the way to your room, you might smell old cooking food smells in the hallway as your traverse across stained carpet carpets. 2. Once in your room, you'll be amazed at the furniture conditions. Our dresser was missing a handle, while one other handle was hanging off by one nail. Edge of the bed plastic was coming off. The curtains were ripped. There was a mysterious gloppy stain on the wall next to the coffee maker. Whenever we flush the toilet, it sounded like an old-school choo-choo train whistle. The bathroom had ripped wallpaper where they used to be a holder for some lotion. And the shower had mildew stains all along the tiles and the ceiling. 3. The hotel itself is probably one of the loudest hotels I've ever stayed in past the sounds of traffic from the roads next to the hotel, you'll be able to hear every single door slam open and any guest walking along the hallways will sound as if they're in an echo chamber. 4. Hungry in the morning? As long as you have $14 a person you can settle up to a really sad continental breakfast/powdered egg and overcook sausage variety. 5. Don't forget to get back to the hotel before it gets too late or you'll be parking across the street in the empty parking lot of a Bob Evans. All that for $138!

    Breakfast was cold they charged $12.99 per person The area is ok distance excellent to the area where I was planned to visit. I was on the first floor terrible too noisy. I stayed 3 days Friday to Monday. Sunday early in the morning people working on construction outside the parking they blocked my car i was surrounded by barricades and caution tape . The bathroom tub and sink were clogged unacceptable. I reported the issue to the hotel they fixed but the next day the sink again clogged. The bathroom door handle broke . It was a nightmare for the money they charged per night its too.much the building is old .

    They are remodeling, but honestly I expected better from Hilton. I think we over paid for what we got. You could tell the ceiling had leaked and tiles were loose around the jacuzzi. It looked like househeeping rushed through. Linens were clean. I would stay elsewhere.

    The Breakfast was okay but definitely not worth $13 a day. The room was not very clean but was definitely big (king-whirlpool). The Internet was fast and the house keeping was consistent. The coffee selection was good along with the snack area. The location is not the hotels fault per say but it is very far north in charlotte. The room wasn't the cleanest and the whirlpool tub had not been used in a long time so the original water that came out was green and brown from sitting in the pipes.

    Don’t get a room with a jetted tub. First room was filthy. A boot print and hair. Took a washcloth with one swipe it was covered in dirt. Front desk put us in another room. That was fine. It’s an older hotel and the carpet is disgusting. It’s not fitting of the Hilton name.

    The hotel is in a very convenient area for all that I had to do in Charlotte. I have stayed in the general area many times but this was the first time that I stayed at this hotel. The hotel appeared fine upon entry but when I got into my room there was mold and mildew in the bathroom. The wallpaper was peeling and had mildew on it. The room also contained a mildew smell that would not go away. I alerted the management and he said he couldn't do anything about it since I booked through Expedia.

I paid for the rate including breakfast but was told I had to pay for breakfast in the morning. I was told I would receive a credit for this but did not.

    I booked a king size bed with the jet tub. We got there late at night and when we got to the room it looked like someone slept in the bed I tried calling the front desk but the phone wasn’t working so called from my personal phone and they told me to come down to the front desk to get another room with a jet tub. Other than that my stay was wonderful. Easy check in and easy check out. Also if you reserve a room there is a $25 fee

My only complaint is that the shower soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers were an annoyance. They have been placed near the front of the shower where you stand under the water. It causes you to turn into them every time you move.

    Just needed a room for the night on our way home and this was available. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, and it was everything we needed to rest up for our ride home.     Went for a business trip the hotel is non smoking but all you could smell was smoke and weed. I had one towel that was never changed out my entire stay, i know this because i put a piece of paper in it to mark it after day 3 of my 10 night stay, i removed the paper when i checked out. Sheets were only replaced once in my stay i just hoped they were clean when i checked in. Internet is free only for 7 days or you have to pay i had to use my phone for the final 3 days of my trip because the internet expired. For the amount of money i spent on this single room it was an exterme disappointment, dont think i will be staying there again.

    I stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn for my visit to Charlotte for the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow. I got my digital key before arriving, so checkin was easy. We had a fire alarm at 3:00am that lasted almost 30 minutes. We were required to stand outside in the cold or sit in our car if you were lucky enough to have your car key. They say they offered free breakfast to everyone affected by the fire alarm but we never received the memo plus another couple affected by the fire alarm was charged for her breakfast that morning.     No streaming, only 1 bedside table, lights in the corner of the room that you have to stretch to turn off/on, horrible uncomfortable pillows. We went to the breakfast buffet to find out it’s $12.99 a person for a very basic continental breakfast. The rate was cheap and we were only in town for a tournament, so it got the job done… but don’t expect much more than that.

    Check in was upsetting because there were undisclosed charges I had to cover after already paying for my room. The attendant that night was careless and a little rude. Our room was clean but furniture was missing wood, in poor repair, the fridge was messed up, the bathtub was in poor repair, and the blanket was very scratchy on the bed. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and the sheets were so soft! The tv could use more channel options for families though.

    At check in, I asked to speak with management about the possibility of a price concession on the extreme fee that was undisclosed on the booking Online. We would have never stayed with this pricey fee. The night front desk woman in blue and green hair snapped at me before I could finish my sentence as she rudely interrupted and snapped at my request “No, there’s nothing I can do and will not be contacting my manager.” Every customer request/complaint should be heard and listened to and responded to. Will never stay here again since customer voices are not cared about or listened to. When we were leaving there was paint spots all over lobby floor with no signage.

    Check in went smoothly. However, once we arrived to our room, the water was not working. We went to front desk because no one answered guest services. I asked the front desk staff was there an issue with the water. He said oh yes there’s a leak and they had to shut the water off. Could you not have informed us of that upon check-in? I asked what time will the water be back on ? He said oh check in isn’t until 3. I’m looking like what does that have to do with you informing your guests there’s no water. Not to mention, a staff meeting at 8am outside in the parking lot and waking guest up

    Checked into hotel online but when I arrived my room was not ready despite arriving after the 3pm check-in time. Check in took longer than usual. The representative apologized and said he was waiting on confirmation of when a room would be ready. I was in a hurry so I asked if I could just get a different size room. The representative located a different room and gave me a breakfast voucher for the inconvenience which was greatly appreciated. The room was ok..a bit dated, weird TV controls, and I had issues with the internet when I was trying to work. Internet issues were addressed once I spoke to the IT team. Slow elevator. Good breakfast and location but I don’t think I will stay here again.

    The rooms are in desperate need of updates. There was mold in the picture frame and the bedroom area. The bathroom fan didn't work. One of the lights in the bathroom did not work which made it very dim. They need a plumber in the bathroom and the water in the bathtub kept backing up when you take a shower. The only staff member that was nice and cordial was Taylor and for them to charge you for that dried out continental breakfast is ridiculous this is definitely my first and last time staying in that location terrible. And the Wi-Fi was terrible you practically had to stand in the corner on your head in order to get a connection

    The staff was outstanding and pretty personable; however the room was not as advertised. It was in poor shape. The trim molding was peeling off of the wall. The desk, in the room, was from the 80s and sagging in the middle. The sheets smelled as if they had been left in the washer for too long and had an odor to it. Empty boxes were stacked and just left in the elevator’s hallway…the rooms were just incredibly unsatisfactory.
