Everything was good. Staff was friendly. Check in was quick. Property was very clean. We utilized the gym and pool. Convenient location off the highway and everything was in that area shopping and eating! Rooms were clean and had enough supplies without needing to call for anything additional. Breakfast offered a nice variety to accommodate all diets. Plan to stay again when visiting Charlotte.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was extremely clean. My pillows were a bit too soft and some of the channels on the TV faded out and we couldn't get them to come back on. Other than that I was extremely satisfied.

The close proximity to visit family. I understand this is a newer hotel but the rooms are not properly maintained. I went through three rooms. First two rooms had gaps (holes) between the ceiling and wall. Anything such as spiders, water, etc can crawl through which is a concern especially over the bed where guest sleeps. The hotel manager when complain to get another room stated she doesn’t have any more rooms and she didn’t see a problem because when she goes to bed she doesn’t look at the ceiling. How unprofessional and condensing for her to say to a paying guest. If I wanted a motel experience, I would have booked a motel and not Hampton expecting the Hilton experience I’ve received in the past from other locations. Next the final room. There was mold in the bathroom sink and the ceiling over the bed had rust stains. I 10/10 don’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Tru, Westin and Courtyard are minutes away and provide the standard hospitality experience with comfort from what my other family members advised. I wish I followed their lead but know I won’t be here again.

Breakfast was hot and ready and this hotel had the longest breakfast time I’ve seen, from 6-10 AM. The staff were very friendly. My only suggestion would be to add more variety to the breakfast hot bar, but overall this was a great hotel with a great location.

The hotel main areas are well maintained. You could see where the tiles in the bathroom had previously had mold issues; the bathroom has a drain that reaked of sewage the last day; the grout on the bathroom floor was extremely dirty and when rubbing a towel on it yo clean up shower water you could see the dirt; the toilet seat isn’t a soft close; they need more bathroom hooks & handles. It needed to be better!!

The Staff here was very professional, welcoming and helpful! The property was very clean. The iron in the room was pouring water, but the engineer came to the rescue to resolve the situation immediately! This made a wonderful hospitality stay!

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The downside is the hotel is right next to the highway. Ask for a room facing the opposite side, otherwise you'll hear the constant sound of trucks and cars on the highway.

Standard room - clean to an extent - missing lamp light fixture as assumed there should be one on each side. Staff seems nice from what I was able to experience but the ppl I spoke to encountered seemed “over it” or that’s the vibe it gave. Also the maintenance is not well kept on the outside as there was a trashcan that was super overflowing by trash and piece fell over due to that. Great area but needs to better to get 4/5 star from me

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Some of the best customer service I've had in a long time. Especially the front desk.guy on Friday afternoon. Nothing I didn't like.

Breakfast was good A variety of items to choose from. Jose, the front desk clerk, was very nice and accommodating to our questions. Heater was unfortunately not working at the indoor pool area.

Room 301 there was water running from the air conditioner unit, the power went off, I couldn’t shower because there was no HOT water, my phone was dead I couldn’t call the front desk for assistance and I missed my flight. ✈️

The room was great. Everything was great. Except hotels.com. I will never use them again. I suspect they are a fraudulent organization. I got their day late and they tried to just take my money. No way to contact them. No way to communicate. They are a horrible website

Elevator was broken for a few hours so I had to carry my luggage upstairs. Door handles should be wiped down like the rest of the room.

The breakfast was good , but a one note. The same thing every day. The staff was always courteous and made sure we were taken care of. we stayed for 4 nights and one night the elevator was out of order. Staff members assisted us up the stairs, offering to carry me. They stayed every step with me to ensure I made it to my room safely. They comped the room for that night. Breakfast needed more vareity and didnt always have gluten free muffins or choices. Not enough gluten free choices. They had blueberry muffins , but not every day.

The bathroom was the cleanest shower I have ever used in a hotel in my 52 years of traveling (other than my Disney cruise) and that’s pretty outstanding. The shower gel and wash were great and towels up to par. The breakfast included so much variety. We chose warm oatmeal with brown sugar, & cranberries. Scrambled egg, sausage and potatoes. All delish! Fresh juices. And more great coffee. Great selection. We will be staying here again for sure when traveling through Charlotte. Thank you so much for a great stay. It’s hard to find a hotel that checks all the boxes these days!!! My only one request if I had to say one would be I disliked the sliding door on the bathroom. Was a bit heavy and loud. 😊👍👍👍👍👍

Parking light was out in the parking lot. They had two nice big sitting areas where we could play cards or have coffee in the morning. They didn't have any sheets or blankets for the hide a bed couch so we had to go back downstairs and get them. The breakfast was very nice and had a variety of items. One morning the sausages were undercooked.

Room was very clean!! Large suite! Only room left but got it for a great price. Comfortable bed, room temperature was right. Shower pressure was great and plenty of towels. Love that you can check in online and get a digital key to skip the front desk. Only thing I would suggest is the front desk staff to great guest as they are coming in as I was not greeted. One of the staff members did speak when I left and came back in from getting food but the other times I left the hotel, I was not acknowledged. Loved the amenties as well. Very close to nearby restaurants and Harris Teeters is right across the street. About 18 minutes from Uptown with light traffic. Heavy traffic took about 25 minutes to get there. Would stay again if ever in the area.

Sooo bummed the pool heater was broken. I was on floor 5 and traveling alone. Doors slammed all night, just from opening and closing so loudly. 5am someone pounded on my door, woke me up screaming because i thought They were coming in. Ended up my next two nights sleeping with the table in front of the door.

Outside of the property was very clean. I was charged for parking which was not discussed during check in. Bathroom was average, very dusty base boards. Room was very small for the price we payed.

My issues with the stay had nothing to do with the staff. The breakfast was good checking in and checking out was fast and very friendly. The room was a large room and I liked it except the lighting was horrible. It was a 600+ square foot room w 3 lamps and ZERO over head lighting except for in the bathroom. It was clean except for multiple hairs I found in the bathroom shower and sink, Yuck! The other issue which was an absolute nightmare was the smell from the bathroom. Every time someone from another room used the restroom you could smell it in our bathroom that was a major problem! Also one of the main reasons I booked this room and hotel was for the indoor pool which was closed because the pools heater was broken and had been for a period of time, so no swimming! The water in the pool was literally so cold that if you were to jump in you could have been in serious trouble!! I would not recommend this room to anyone. I paid almost 400$ for 2 nights of being unable to use the full kitchen after dusk because you could barely see your hand in front of your face and smelling others use the restroom like I was at a dirty smelly gas station bathroom!! Unbelievable that this room had a 9.0 excellent/exceptional rating!! Complete waste of money and what was suppose to be a great weekend was ruined!

I called because our plane got delayed and we had to check in after 1am . We just wanted to make sure that someone knew . I talked to the two nastiest workers I’ve ever talked to . If it had not been for that I would have given more stars. The room is not very big . The bathroom is almost bigger than the room . The sofa is not a pullout and only a toddler can sleep on it .

Super nice staff came in sort of late and staff were super friendly and told me where we could get some dinner nearby without having to drive much. I was so done with the rain by this point. Rooms were very clean and common areas were clean and well maintained.

Hotel is located near stores and restaurants, that’s a plus. Clean room, temperature set right for the season. Booked thru Hotels.com for much cheaper rate, happy about the savings. There was a mistake when checking in but rectified immediately.

Post pandemic, I have adopted wiping everything down upon check-in and I can honestly say this happened to be one of the cleaner hotels I’ve stayed at. The lobby decor is hip and the staff were very amenable , especially Miss Sofia at the front desk, very professional and pleasant. The airport is nearby; however, we had no noise disturbances. The coffee is excellent, breakfast is typical, waffle machine, good potatoes. The only thing I can say bad was the indoor pool was ice cold but it was piping hot outside so stay outside be hot, warm pool side shower and then jump in. Its in a great area, quiet adjacent to the premium outlets, plenty of food choices nearby, I would stay again, absolutely.

No complaints, I was satisfied with my stay, very clean, staff was very nice, breakfast was very good. Room was very nice. Nice bathroom amenities for your convenience.

I would take a star because of lady at front which wasn't welcoming. Otherwise the knig room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was great too. Location of the hotel was very good as well

Hotel is perfectly located for shopping and dining

I booked a room with 2 queen beds and upon arrival was told they were overbooked and all they could offer was a king bed. The room 218 had mold on the ceiling. Super annoyed we booked 2 months in advance and didn’t get what we requested.

The property and facilities were very nice. The pool was unheated so a bit too chilly to enjoy. The one point that was a negative was the lack of sound isolation. The walls may be too thin. I found normal speech levels in the neighboring room to be noticeable in mine.

The in-door pool was not heated, and the drain for our shower was broken. However, our stay was comfortable and the breakfast was warm and appetizing.

Everything was fine.

Had a great stay at the Hampton Inn at Steele creek. My Son was able to enjoy the pool, my daughter enjoyed lounging in the room on that comfy bed and of course me and my husband enjoyed the free daily breakfast. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in Steele creek. location is very convenient to shopping area walking distant to everything.

Great location

The room was comfortable and clean. Easy friendly check in. Breakfast was good our 1st day. The second breakfast kept getting too low so all we had was coffee. The hotel is ib the perfect spot.

We were in Charlotte for a family event/graduation and it was really nice to have our own place to retreat, refresh and rest. Hotel was quiet, comfortable, clean and breakfast was really good. We recommend and would stay here again

After a long day working a wedding catering event, I had to check in late at night - and I couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience. The two front desk staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and just what I needed to rest and recharge.

Typical hotel with normal unfriendly staff. Charge for $15 car parking fee and $50 deposit. Breakfast is not good as well. Small room but clean. Good location but traffic is terrible all day.

I recently had the pleasure of accompanying my mother, aunt, and daughter on a girls' getaway trip to this establishment, and the experience was truly exceptional. The staff exhibited a high level of professionalism and friendliness, significantly enhancing our visit. The complimentary breakfast offered was both delicious and satisfying. The beds in both of my rooms were designed for comfort, and the cleanliness of the accommodations was exemplary. Moreover, the showers were notably spacious. While the pool area was somewhat limited in size, it adequately fulfilled my needs during the stay. My mother, daughter, and I also enjoyed a pleasant walk in the vicinity. The hotel is surrounded by numerous dining options, and the area felt safe and conducive to an easy stroll.

I didn't like the room and the bathroom were outdated and there was a stain on 1 of the pillowcases and the carpet. Cracks in the walls of the bathroom. I just expected more. However the guy that worked that night was extremely nice, i truly appreciate him being so nice and helpful.

All seemed clean and well cared for.

Tv wasn’t working and handicap shower flooded the floor. Didn’t get any help until the last night we were there and they finally changed our room.

It was nice but the room I booked for had a tub , but the room I was given only had a shower. Other than that it was wonderful

My room had rain coming in and they did not offer to switch my room or anything I have videos and pictures.. there where stand in the wall the wall paper coming off

We had a great 3 nights here while visiting family during the holidays. Clean and friendly staff. It’s a feel good hotel, even my son was impressed when he stopped in. I’m sure he will recommend to others, his office is in same neighbor. I’ll choose this location on next visit for sure!

Not informed about every other day maid service. Had to go downstairs to get clean towels and coffee supplies. Also not informed there was a parking fee.

Everything was great

I liked everything except the fact that the TV was not working. I called front desk, but they had no technician on site. I paid good money for this room. The least they can do is make sure the TV is working before charging guests for the room. Unacceptable

We had room service one day during the 9 day stay. It was obvious they did not vacuum the room. Disappointed. I have always been impressed with Hampton and stay often, but this time was less than expected.

This hotel is the 4th one I’ve stayed in in the Berewick/Steele Creek Charlotte, NC area during the past 12 weeks. It is my favorite bc of the cleanliness, comfort, staff, accommodations, staff, cost, and convenience.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room had lots of space to spread out. And, the local area had a nice selection of restaurants and shopping. We will definitely stay here again when we visit family in Charlotte.
