    Was very quiet and clean! Exceptional customer service! All tens across the board! The only thing I didn't like was that they knocked on the door twice within the same hour... After being told the first time I was aware of the check out time. Mind you at was 2 and half hours before check out! Then hollering through the door we were trying to check and see if you were okay and needed something! I was leery of that!

    The hotel was clean and the bed is very comfortable. The rooms have an old carpet smell. The pool would have been cool if it wasn't dead bugs floating around. The staff was pleasant, but I probably won't be staying here again.

    CONS- Property is very, very old and outdated. We're talking gold, old, stained wallpaper and old wooden furniture. No laundry room, dingy gym, and really no other amenities. For what they charge compared to other local properties, I would say it wasn't worth the price, but if you're looking for a quiet place to rest and not picky about aesthetics, then it's an ok property.

    The rooms where what you would expect at that price. The guy who checked me in was not unfriendly, but he was nothing to write home about. The lady who was working overnight that doesn't sit still (lol) was exceptional in her customer service. The older black gentleman that does maintenance is a sweetheart. Even though the pool was not open, he allowed me to use one of the chairs to sit outside and read. After he stopped what he was doing to clean it for me. For a couple of nights stay it will be fine anything longer will be uncomfortable. Please fix the hot water temperature and pressure. Make sure the adjoining doors are secured before you let a woman in the room and scare her.

    So nice we extended for a third night. Only problem we had was the cold water was not working in our room. 215. Had to brush teeth in warm water and shower remained very hot. (We did turn the handles to cold water side of faucet trying to decrease temperature). Not sure if others on our floor reported issue. We were so settled in room we didn’t complain about it.

    Normally I find Hampton Inn to be consistent, reliable and comfortable. Not a high end hotel but solidly GOOD. Not this one…. It was the most run down Hampton Inn I’ve stayed at, which you can feel as you first walk in. Beyond that, the water in my tub wouldn’t stop running even though it was fully turned off (not dripping, but a consistent stream of water), there were 3 tissues stuffed prettily into the tissue box and when I grabbed one, I found there was no tissue box at all - just the 3 stuffed into the top, my king bed had 4 standard pillows (vs king) and the bed squeaked when I rolled over, and one of the only two elevators was working. The front desk folks were nice and breakfast was decent, but I would never stay at this hotel again.

    This was the second time we stayed here. The hotel is clean but very worn down. They had shampoo and soap in the bathroom, but they didn’t offer conditioner which was odd. The breakfast was just ok and the staff wasn’t very friendly.

    Location is great, not far from airport, nor from downtown and other major areas in Charlotte. Definitely recommend renting a vehicle, at least for us it was best. Lots of food options nearby, coffee shops etc. Hotel staff was very nice, room and hotel itself was very clean. We felt very comfortable and well attended. Overall nice experience!

    The staff were top-notch and went above and beyond to make our stay special for my husband's 50th birthday. Always friendly and offering help. The breakfast was full of options and delicious. I loved that they had a bit of a concessions stand too, for those snacks or things you may have forgotten. Would certainly stay here again.

    The eggs at breakfast were a little sad. They were just flavorless rubber pucks. The room itself had an air conditioner that was quite loud, and yet somehow not very effective. I was able to sleep with it, but I could imagine that being an annoyance for many. When the doors close at night, the sign on the door looks very hastily slapped together and gave me a false impression that I was staying in a dangerous part of town. It is not. It's a perfectly fine location, but the entrance would not give that impression.

    The associate who checked me in was nice, personable, and professional. I did not like the lack of cleanliness. When I checked in, approx 4:45. I had about 30 mins to change and get to my event. When I walked in to my room, the chair cushion was flipped over, the microwave and refrigerator door were wide open, and the dresser drawers were all pulled out. It was also extremely hot. I jump in the shower and the shower is not draining. The water was up to my ankles. I could not deal with those issues until I got back from my event. I got back to the room around midnight ish amd was checked out by 1am. I spoke with tje night associate and explained the issues and her only response was I'LL LET THEM KNOW. She was busy doing her "audit". I ended up driving almost 4 hours back home in the middle of the night. For $150, this was unacceptable.

    We did have our fur-baby with us during this trip and that was also the reason for our stay at the Hampton. We were told during our last visit at the Days Inn (3rd visit in 3 weeks that they were not pet friendly. Eventhough the website states that they are pet friendly and the night check in clerks PUTS ME ON THE 1st floor BECAUSE ITS EASIER AND FASTER TO TAKE YOUR DOG OUT. So who's lying??

    Hampton Inn was pet friendly. I had my dog with me, The staff was very nice, everyone greeted you each time you passed them, we did have a little problem with water in tub not going down, called someone was there in like 3 minutes,That was fast service to me, the room was clean and smelled good. I would stay there again. The breakfast was good.

The hotel said that this is a common occurence when making reservations with third parties like Expedia.     Only a 5 minute or so drive to Charlotte Motor Speedway. Breakfast had different variety every morning. (Waffle flavour changes, eggs are different style and then the protein changes daily) Only problem we had was the hot water in the shower wasnt hot enough. Felt more lukewarm than hot. But that was honestly our only complaint. Loved the spot so much that we rebooked for next year.

    I booked this based on location and reviews, however resulted in a terrible case of bed bug bites. These did not come from my belongings. I was a bit hesitant when I arrived in my room with stains on the walls and bed frame, toilet not cleaned properly. Elevator was filthy and AC was either too cold or hot.     Quite honestly the property seemed a little run down. The pool was green and most of the lights were out around the pool. I think I counted 3 out of 13 that were working. In my room the HVAC T-stat on the wall didn’t work so I to control the AC manually. The channel guide for the TV remote didn’t work and 1 light was out in the bathroom.

    Ummm, we stayed here for a concert and when we came back there was police everywhere and yellow tape. They wouldn’t allow us in and we had to park at Burger King to walk over to the hotel at 11 at night. We are two young women. So that was just lovely. And the cop told us that there was a shooting. Awesome. Charlotte is crazy. We asked the front guy to call us when the police left so we could go get our car from Burger King but his stupid ass never did. So yeah, don’t stay here. Should have known when we came in the first time to check in, a guy was complaining about his stay. Lesson learned. Will never stay here again!

    Everything was great from the breakfast to the sleeping arrangements. The overall hotel itself was nice and was in walking distance of lots of restaurants and it was pretty well kept. For the most part staff was friendly. The only thing that I did not like was when it was time to check in to pay - the front didn’t seem to know how to process payments between 2 cards - was splitting the charges with someone and they ended up charging my card for the full stay which put me in a real bind with other stuff scheduled to come out on the same day the payment posted which wasn’t on the day I checked in but a couple days later. The point in paying at the hotel and split it was so I didn’t run into this issue. Maybe they need more training but other than that everything was fine.

    Due to my international travel and a flight duration of about 26 hours, I was unable to check in on the scheduled date. I contacted the hotel to request postponing my check-in by one day, but they refused. Unfortunately, there was no flexibility offered, and I was not given any discount or refund. I was disappointed that there was no flexibility extended in this situation, nor was I offered a partial refund or discount, despite the circumstances being beyond my control. As a guest, I believe reasonable accommodation should have been possible, especially given the length and nature of my travel.

    Air-conditioning was horrible. At night time the ac was not working. I complained twice but no response. It was muggy in the rooms and few bugs.

    The A/C not being able to go below 74 is very inconvenient. Front desk didn’t have the right size batteries. Sleep was a terrible/ nonexistent! I’m 37 weeks pregnant and suffering

    The room had thick dust on most light fixtures, TV, me microwave etc. In-room coffee pot was filthy! The desk next to the A/C had much mold on it. Carpet was buckled creating areas to trip. Toilet was dirty under seat rim. No cold water! Elevators had not been cleaned for quite some time. Very disappointing. We tried getting another hotel but there were 2 major events and hotels were booked. On the upside breakfast was adequate and good.

    I gave lower stars due to the fact this is a questionable area according to my cab driver, though it is the university center. As an older lady this concerned me. But the coffe is good here in the lobby and the sheets are lovely and the room smelled fine.

    The desk in front of the air conditioner prevented the cold air from circulating properly so we had to turn the temperature down to get the same results and also, the shower could use a good grout bleaching. I know it gets dingy over time but a good bleach & power scrub session would really improve the look.

    The breakfast was typical free breakfast fare. Nothing outstanding. The coffee was terrible. The room was looking old. The room Was acceptably clean. It was really loud. The elevator stunk of marijuana.

    Windows don’t open, no access to fresh air, got sick and throw up food from Burger King. Had to leave the room early in the morning. Room was toxic. Unable to sleep in that environment.

    Me and my wife stayed 4 days 3 nights. Hotel is a little outdated but its not bad. Lobby was always clean. Our king room was clean we opted for house keeping to come in our room and clean up and give us clean towels which was nice. You have to ask the front desk for this option on checkin. Staff greeted us with smiles everday and they were nice and interacted with us. We did not have breakfast. Parking lot was not bad nor did we see people hang out. Overall we were very satisfied. I hope this hotel get a renovation soon but is still a nice stay. P.S sometimes reviews are just wrong.

    The pet fees at 50$US are pretty high. We have never paid more than 25$US for similar facilities during our recent trips to the US (2024 and 2025). Specially that the carpet was rather dirty considering the high pet fees. Expedia should include pet fees in the reservation total cost so that we are not surprised at check-in.

    On my 2nd day , I called the receptionist to inform them to clean my room after I was out whole day , to my shocking surprise when I got back in the evening the room was not clean and tidy up. I called to complain and they said how they’re sorry. Is that all? Whiles I think some of the staff may be good workers some are terrible! There’s need for proper supervision honestly! In all, it was great place regardless.

    Additionally, the furniture was old and smelled unpleasant, and we encountered no hot water at all in the bathroom. The air conditioning unit was ineffective, and the room remained uncomfortably warm. The desk had chipped paint, and the shower head was not working properly. To make matters worse, on our last night, the noise from neighboring guests was disruptive—loud screams and furniture being knocked over, which kept us awake. I also want to mention the front desk staff: the lady who checked us in appeared to have a low attitude, offered no greeting or smile, which felt quite unwelcoming. In contrast, the lady who checked us out was much more friendly and energetic, which was a small bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience.

    The property was quietly situated in an area that is accessible to restaurants and the beltway. The staff were polite and professional. Breakfast was wholesome and delicious. Although the hotel was dated yet cleanliness was prioritized. Thanks!!

    The staff were awesome but……The hotel itself was very dated. Carpet stains, walls stains, beds were not made very well and , cookie crumbs on the bed before I even used it. Overall though it was a safe and decent.

    Went to work out in fitness center and there were no towels, water, cleaning wipes, NOTHING. Totally disgusting and when I told the girl at the front (she was busy on her phone texting) she acted like she didn’t care. Very rude. Floors were nasty and sticky. Nobody cleaning coffee stations. A very very bad look for a Hilton property. Do not stay here!! Fire station and police station are near along with a train and all of them went by in the middle of night with sirens. Just a terrible and unpleasant experience.

    I booked a room for a night to visit my nephew. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. When I checked in, my tv wasn’t working in my room. I called the front desk and someone came to fix it within five minutes. Apparently, the previous guest unplugged it.

    Housekeeping, however, left much to be desired. The rooms were not cleaned on a regular, daily schedule. Regular items such as bathroom and facial tissue had to be requested. One of the lights was not functional. A request for staff to fix the lights had to be made. Why? We were told that a request for daily cleaning should have been made when the reservations were initially made. This was new to us. We regularly stayed at Hampton Inn in past years. That was not the case. Although we made the request, there was no follow through. In any event, the staff at breakfast and at the Front Desk attempted to make the week long stay pleasant enough while on the premises. During the day, however, was spent at the nearby University.
