My sister and I enjoyed our stay at the Grand Bohemian Charlotte, Autograph Collection over Memorial Day weekend. Everything was excellent. Staff were very friendly, helpful, accommodating, and responsive. If we needed something, it arrived quickly, and then we received a text to make sure what we requested had arrived. Even the valets were really nice. The room was spacious and clean. I loved the complimentary water bottles. The bath amenities were great - we loved that there was a liquid hand wash so we didn't have to use bar soap at the sink. Lighting was good in the bathroom. We also liked that a robe and slippers were provided. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Thank you for a great stay!

The executive lounge was a bit of a let down in terms of hours and selection, but the front desk staff, the rooms themselves, and the waitstaff in the restaurant were all stellar.

The property was beautiful, the staff was polite, professional, and very nice. Only problem: it was extremely noisy. I can't blame the hotel for external noise, but I can blame them for very poor sound insulation. At night it's constant cars revving their engines and in the morning at 6 am it sounded like a generator was running at full blast for an hour. Fortunately, I had top grade ear plugs or I would not have gotten any sleep. It's sad as the hotel is so nice, but short sighted design has made it so all external noise drones through the rooms and we were on a top floor.

Great place to stay. Nice rooms. Clean and comfortable. Only thing we did not like was the traffic noise was somewhat loud on the street side facing the church at times. Recommend using the valet parking. Someone hit our car in the someone garage across the street.

Very nice hotel. Great staff. Valet area is small and can be quite congested. Restaurant was just ok for breakfast. Both bars were fantastic.

Stayed at this hotel to attend a family wedding. The rooms did not have anything that would particularly stand out as extraordinary. The shower stall was nice but the room did not have a microwave. I would honestly have been okay with a subpar/standard tub/shower combo because I was travelling with 2 kids under the age of 5 who are not used to standing showers with the amount of force that our shower was spraying water at. The microwave would have been very helpful. The bottles of champagne and other items were a bit over the top. Nothing was really complimentary. However, that could be acceptable for others. I also thought the art work in the room was questionable at best. Felt weird to sit on the toilet with a pair of eyes looking at me.

This place is bright, clean and well maintained. The rooms are spacious but the noise level at night can be higher. We could hear loud guests at night but that is no fault of the hotel or its staff.

Hotel was nice and clean A once and a lifetime moment was truly ruined by this place. I have never met a more incompetent staff. My fiance (Now wife) chose this hotel for our wedding weekend stay. Our photographer called the hotel no less than 3 times to inquire about photo policies. She was told it would be no problem. The photographer met me in the lobby and for about 30 minutes we had no issues doing photos. But the literal second before my wife and I were doing our first look (the few seconds before) I turn around, their security guard informed us that we can’t take photos. I get they have a policy but it was the complete lack of communication given to staff that we had inquired on about the policy. We were not once informed of this. Our once and a lifetime moment was completely ruined by the staff. The front desk and sales manager also had zero Empathy and recognition for the moment that they ruined. Never again will we stay there or ever recommend this hotel to anyone and will be sure to share our story across all social media and internet sites to warn people of the incompetency and sheer rudeness an lack of empathy their staff has. A once and a lifetime moment was ruined and no form of compensation from the hotel could ever give us that back.

On multiple occasions, the actual wait time exceeded 25 minutes. As a result, we missed two confirmed dinner reservations off property due to late arrival. The valet area was consistently congested, with vehicles wrapped around the building and traffic blocked. It appeared severely understaffed and unstructured. Compounding this, we experienced brown water coming from the faucets in our room for approximately two hours. While maintenance issues can occur, lack of access to clean water at a luxury hotel is concerning. Checkout was equally disorganized. We waited roughly 20 minutes for a luggage cart, then were told to expect an additional 10-minute delay due to valet staff being preoccupied. Approximately 15 guests were waiting to retrieve vehicles at that time, many visibly frustrated. For a high-end property during a major holiday weekend, basic operational planning and staffing should be in place. The hotel itself is visually beautiful, but the service breakdowns significantly impacted what was meant to be a special trip. I hope management takes meaningful steps to address these systemic issues.

I booked a room with two queen size beds for 3 adults. My flight was delayed in Miami so I told my daughter who was flying in from NY to call the hotel and let them know that we would be checking in late. She was told there was no rooms available at the hotel. When I arrived I called and I let the hotel person know that my stay was prepaid. She then proceeded to give us a room at the Westin with 1 bed and 1 couch promising the next morning they would send a car to pick us up to take us to the Grand Bohemian and that she was going to upgrade us to a suite. What she gave us was definitely not an upgrade. We were given a corner room where we heard every emergency vehicle and we had 1 king size bed and a couch for 6 days. Not exactly how I intended to spend my prepaid stay. I have asked the hotel to refund my money in its entirety if they fail to resolve my issue by Friday June 13 I will be filing a full refund to my credit card.

The spa is awful

The property was modern up-to-date. The location was centralized, within walking distance to various restaurants and events. Valet parking was a bit cramped but the staff was excellent and made it easy to overlook the minor shortcomings.

The staff was fine but unfortunately the room was advertised on Expedia as King w/Terrace and that's not what the room was. It was a King with a Terrace facing view. Unfortunately, we had to check out as that's not what we wanted. Thankfully, the hotel was kind enough to issue us a refund. But it would be better to make that clear on the booking.

The bigger issue was that the shower drain was clogged. Within seconds of turning on the water, there was over an inch of standing water around our ankles. I reported this immediately and was told maintenance would be coming, but from check-in to check-out, no one ever came to address the issue. Additionally, we were charged twice for the room and are still waiting for the second charge to be refunded.

Anytime she checks me in she gives me the worst room possible. Paid over $500 for this horrible room! We suppose to get an upgrade and it felt like a downgrade. Room was smelly, dirty, hot and carpet was in horrible shape… only plus is the valet is 24hours and always good. I’m taking a break from Bohemian …..maybe forever.

Some of these things can't be helped, but it didn't lead to the most relaxing stay.

It was a beautiful property. The room was immaculate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar was well stocked but it closed early on Sunday which was a bummer because I had to go down the street to a dive bar to hangout and watch the late games.

This property is a beautiful Marriott collection hotel. It has an upscale boho vibe. I've stayed at the Bohemian in Savannah as well. I'm pleased and impressed at the unique look.

We were here for a wedding. This hotel is amazing. I love the style and decor of each area of the hotel. I would recommend to anyone coming to Charlotte. I love that they are dog friendly as well.

The hotel had a great vibe - beautiful decor that reminded me of Argentina. They have incredible, helpful and professional staff with a strong customer-orientation. We really enjoyed our Malbec tasting and steak dinner at Mico. No question that I would stay here again when I visit Charlotte.

The hotel itself is stunning, with its artistic design, elegant atmosphere, and inviting spaces that encourage both relaxation and inspiration. My room overlooked the city skyline, and simply gazing out at the view brought me a sense of peace and renewal. The environment felt uplifting, and for the first time in a while, I could feel my health and energy beginning to restore. Dining at the Grand Bohemian was another highlight. The salad was crisp and fresh, the lamb entrée was tender and full of flavor, and the key lime tart was the perfect sweet ending. Every detail — from the presentation to the taste — felt intentional and crafted to offer not just a meal, but an experience. The balance between the quiet, restorative atmosphere of the hotel and the vibrant energy of Uptown Charlotte outside made this stay feel complete. It wasn’t just a getaway — it was a fresh start, a clean palette, and a blessing at exactly the right time.

The property was very nice. All areas were very clean and well kept. The staff was great. The only concern was our room had a slight odor, possibly from a bathroom drain. We just purchased an air freshner to help. I informed the front desk at check out. It wasn't a huge deal.

Charged $54 for a bottle of wine that was in the room plus $10 for a bottled water. $48 to park overnight is also outrageous. I will not be staying again.

Very Nice hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. Clean and modern with a luxurious feel throughout. Valet parking was a little overpriced at $48/daily. But everything else was exquisite.

Beautiful hotel with all the bells and whistles. Service is top-notch in every aspect, friendly, attentive, and professional. Just keep in mind that this hotel is located downtown, where the energy is high and there’s always something happening. If you’re looking for absolute quiet, this might not be the best fit, as you will hear the city life outside. That said, the vibrant atmosphere adds to the experience, and I would happily stay here again.

Excellent hotel

This place was absolutely amazing. Wife and i were in town for a concert and will definitely be back again. Rooftop bar was beautiful and rooms were very spacious.

Great property

This was a great spot for a concert at the stadium.

I’m used to the front desk pointing out the amenities and where things are located and that wasn’t done. I chose this hotel for the terrace and was told at check in it was closed - disappointing. It took an hour to get connected to their WiFi and being told internet might be out during our stay. It wasn’t but was very tedious to connect. Wishing they had snacks and drinks available for purchase on site. Overall staff was nice and cleanliness met expectations.

Common space was beautiful but we were unable to access art gallery 2 stays in a row due to weddings. Executive Lounge had minimal offerings. Room were nicely decorated but quite small. Front desk staff and restaurant staff were great.

Adam was excellent at front desk check in. All staff spoke and were very friendly. We had a great view and very clean room.

Wonderful place to stay for our anniversary this year. The restaurant and rooftop bar are both excellent and the service was wonderful. Plan on staying here again in the future.

Excellent and courteous staff. Wonderful room. Easy walking access to Spectrum Center or Bank of America Stadium.

We came in town for a comedy show, NOT knowing Metallica was in town. Traffic and valet was CRAZY busy. Valet did the best they could communicated long waits and were super friendly.

Hotel was awesome, amenities were great everything was so easy and elegant.

The room was really pretty, great view from about the terrace on the 10th floor. Ask for that to see almost the whole Knights stadium field.

WOW!! This was the most beautiful hotel that I have ever stayed and that says a lot since I am an Interior designer! The staff was amazing from check in and beyond.. We also ate at Micos for an amazing meal then headed upstairs for more cocktails at roof top bar. We would recommend staying at this hotel for sure!! A piece of advice if you self park do it across the street a whole lot cheaper.

An excellent hotel for a weekend getaway. Very well appointed, great staff, and centrally located in the heart of Charlotte.

Drinks on the roof were not good, and we had several different attempts with drinks from each bartender... All fails. Like 1 would be good and then the next same order would be bad. Food was pretty good. Stayed there and rooms had noise from neighbors and the terrace room makes no sense cause it's labeled like an upgrade but you see only a tent that on a "terrace". I recommend trying Park hotel, and it has a famous rooftop bar and a pretty restaurant etc.

Received great service when checking in and out. Room was outstanding. Everything we needed was close by. Staff was attentive and friendly.

The stay was great. Eclectic hotel design but advanced. The parking guys work hard! Room service made a great accommodation for me on a whim. Food was fresh. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel and wonderful room. Great condition. Only grip was the loud noise from the street from car engines revving all night.

Whenever we spend a weekend in Charlotte, we usually stay at the Grand Bohemian. Great centralized location and great on-site options for cocktails before a dinner out on the town. Valet is convenient and everyone is very polite. Would definitely recommend.

Wish the city of Charlotte would remove the loud cars racing through the streets at night

The property was stunning. Hands down. If you love art, you’ll love the bohemian. I do wish it was more reasonably priced and I wished I had a tub in my room, but my stay was so relaxing. They even gave me a free bottle of wine for my birthday.

We had stayed at the Grand Bohemian in Greenville, SC and loved it. Thought we would see what the one in Charlotte, NC was like to compare. We didn't find it particularly inviting or warm but then, it's in a downtown area. We heard traffic and sirens during the night and we didn't care for the Argentinian art. While I would stay at another Grand Bohemian, I'm not a fan of this one.
